Chapter 20: Insanity (Battle of Alrest State Park, Part 4)
Nia's tears stopped. Yes, she had just witnessed something worse than hell, but she couldn't cry. There was one thing that she felt in her heart. Rage. Rage at Jin.
"Nia looked up from Rex's body and gave Jin a death threatening glare. "JIN!!" Nia screamed at him. " I'M GOING TO KILL YOU! "
With that Nia stood up and drew her own knife from her pocket. "DIE YOU BASTARD!" Nia screamed , then charged at Jin.
Jin was caught off guard, and he had no way to defend himself. When Nia was within range, she thrust the knife deep into Jin 's shoulder, making him scream in pain.
"Does that hurt, Jin?! Good!" Nia said.
She then pushed the knife deeper in his shoulder, earning a scream of pain from Jin. More blood oozed out of the wound.
"Wait!" Someone shouted from behind Nia , and she was pulled away from Jin. The knife, which was clutched in her hand, also came away from Jin, and she saw that it was covered in blood. Jin's blood.
Nia turned to see who had dragged her away. It was Pyra. "Listen," Pyra said, " Rex still has a pulse. If the ambulance can get here in time, he has a chance of making it. "
At those words Nia froze. Rex has a chance? She thought.
Upon hearing Pyra's words, she say back down near Rex, this time being accompanied by Pyra and Mythra. With that, the Battle of Alrest State Park came to a close.
