-Carlie-

I knew what my sister was doing, seeing it in her mind, and she knew all of us knew. We didn't have mind reading skills for nothing. And her secret had been on her mind a lot lately. I just wondered if Edward-not Dad-had heard yet. Or if Alice had had any visions about it. It was a very real possibility. Edward would not want to hear what was going on with his daughter. Not at all. I also wondered what Carlisle would think. It really involved the whole family.

-Jacob-

The three of us walked out the back door, heading deep into the forest so prying ears would have a hard time hearing us. Once we got far enough, Nessie turned to me for comfort. You're nervous about what Bella will think, right?

She touched my arm so we could have a telepathic conversation. Yeah. I just don't know what she'll say. She is thinking about the different things we might say now. Her shields are down currently. The one she keeps coming back to is that we want to move away from her. She couldn't be further from the truth, huh.
That is really far from the truth. You have the test with you?

Yes. I don't think she'll believe us if we don't have proof.

"What are you guys talking about?" Bella asked. Sometimes, it was nice to have telepathic conversations, but then people might not trust you. "Not more secrets, I hope. What did you drag me out here to talk about, Ness?"

"Um, Mom… I don't know how to say this. Here." My Nessie handed her the test. Which was kinda gross, but whatever.

Nessie visibly rolled her eyes at my thought. What? I love you though, Ness.

"Whatever, Jake."

"Renesmee, what is this?" Bella asked.

-Renesmee-

"Renesmee, what is this?" My mom asked. Her shields had slid back into place. I tried not to be bothered by it.

"A positive pregnancy test," I answered. "Surprise?"

"Are you serious?"

"Um, Yeah. Why are you freaking out about it?"

"Renesmee, your child will be half wolf, a quarter vampire, and a quarter human, and you're asking me why I'm freaking out? Is your brain okay?"

"So, they'll be a little different. In case you haven't noticed, Mom, so are we."

She looked at me with an exasperated look. "You want to tell your father about this, considering he's going to be following me around now?"

"No, and when did you two make up. Or should I say, out?"

"We didn't."

"Why not. You still-"

"No, I don't. I do not still… just drop it, okay. You don't have shields, and Edward can also read minds. Ask Carlie to bring shields around you if I'm not there, alright? Now, let's go back to the house, you two, and you need to get ready for bed. We have school in the morning, and I'm leaving Victoria in charge of you all so the adults can go hunting. I expect she already hunted on the way over here. She knows we don't really like her diet. And Nessie," I turned to look at her, I was already walking away. "You do still have to go to school. Until you start to show. Then the two of you can stay home."

"Of course, Mom." I understood where she was coming from.

-Victoria-

Bella and the other members of her coven asked me to watch the kids for the night, because the adults needed to hunt. I agreed, as long as my mate could come. He had just hunted as well, I assured them. He was also waiting a couple of miles outside the small town.

The kids and I spent the night playing games that I had never heard of before. I realised I needed to get out in the human world more, and perhaps not eat as many of them. Maybe Bella and her coven's diet is right. I was going to ask them how they did it, and try to switch over myself.

Around 11:30, I made the seven of them go to bed, but heard them talking for another hour. At 12:45, I finally yelled at them.

"Guys, you need to sleep. I get that full blooded vamps don't need it, but you half-bloods do. Goodnight, children." They hated being called children, and I liked using it to my advantage.

"Aunt Vicky, We were just going to turn the lights out. Don't worry about us."

The only downside to calling them children was that they called me "Aunt Vicky." They knew I hated it. I cringed at the horrible nickname they had given me when they were young.

It was perfectly fine that they called me that when they were unable to say my full name, but now that they were able to, I expected them to be a bit more respectful.

-Angela-

We were out hunting, and even after a hundred years, it still felt weird to be out and about at 3 in the morning. At least I had Ben these days. Bella was such a blessing that first year, keeping me from the humans, away from the now repulsive smell of their blood. Victoria had kept Bella away for Bella's first year as well, respecting the fact that Bella didn't want to be a killer. Our coven now was fully dependent on animal blood, and had been for 75 years. Our children had taken a while to get situated after Bella and I had given them real blood for the 5 or so months they needed it.

I scented an elk a few yards ahead, and silently made my way over to where it was. My favorite to drink had always been deer, but elk was the next best thing. Bears were such a struggle to get down, and I rarely went for them. They were, apparently, Emmet Cullen's favorite though.

-Bella-

Once we finished hunting, the four of us headed back to our house. We had bought a house with 10 rooms so we could expand as needed, and have a place behind closed doors. My room just had a small leather couch, like what he had in his room all those years ago, and a medium desk for school work. I had other furniture in there, but my children were allowed to decorate this house, so I mostly had stuff I didn't really like. The other rooms were perfectly fine though, even Angela and Ben's room. My kids just liked to hate on me. I knew they really loved me though.

When we got back I was not expecting to see him in my room. I wondered how he had gotten in without alerting Victoria, then made sure my shields were intact. I really didn't want him in my mind.

"What." I spat.

"Nice couch."

"What do you want?"

"So say sorry."

"You already did. Goodbye." I was getting annoyed.

"Why do you hate me so much, Bella?" The way he said my name made my insides want to thaw out. I hated it.

"I don't. It's just a strong dislike. You left me to die in those woods."

Just then, I spotted Alice out the window. "Looks like my friend is here. Bye, never come back please."

"Bella, will you just say my name?"

"No." I walked out the door. "Never come back." I don't want to hurt you. I thought it, but didn't say it. He could not know, at any cost, the pain he had caused by breaking my heart. The only people I had ever loved remotely close to him were my babies, and they were fully grown now. I was even going to be a grandmother in a few months. That was weird to think about. I looked like I was 17, and I was going to be a grandmother in probably 6 months. I only had my four babies for 4 or 5 months, and I could probably ask Alice about my Nessie and her baby.

When I went to wake all of the schoolers the next morning, I saw Renesmee curled up in Jacobs arms, and left her alone. They could take a day off. Spend some time resetting.

I wrote a note to Renesmee and stuck it on the fridge, letting her know it was okay I didn't wake her, and that she would be okay to stay home from school today.

I wasn't looking forward to spending the day at school again, but at least I got to hide what I truly looked like under Lily's disguises.
