Uraraka's P.O.V
I was looking for Deku.
Classes had ended and I wanted to spend the rest of the day with him.
I heard some noises that sounded like grunting.
"Yep, that's Deku-Kun alright," I said to myself.
I went to watch him training with his quirk.
"Aura… SMASH!"
He punched a tree so hard it turned to bits.
I clapped my hands startling him.
"That was amazing Deku!" I said smiling.
Deku chuckled.
"Its not really t-t-that amazing," he said with his signature nervous tone, "I'm just doing what I know I can do."
I giggled and kissed his cheek.
"So are you excited about the upcoming trip?"
Earlier…..
As class continued to go on, Aizawa had one final announcement.
"In other news, there is one final thing I'd like to share," he said, "Its come to my attention that All Might's brother has invited Class 1-A to I-Island."
"CLASS FIELD TRIP!" Everyone shouted with excitement.
This prompted Aizawa to chuckle.
"I read about that place," Deku said, "Its where people do research on quirks, and in addition to that they create some support items for pro heroes to help them in battle or rescue."
Deku was rambling on about his research and I giggled to myself.
Mina laughed.
"You realize you're dating a nerd."
"Well he's my nerd."
While people were gossiping about the upcoming trip, my eyes were focused on Deku.
Deku got back up.
"So aside from all that, do you know what today is?"
"Its Friday," I answered.
Deku chuckled.
"Its more than just any old Friday Ochako," he stated, "Its a special day today."
I smiled.
"Every day is special when I'm with you," I told him.
"Well, I'll give you a hint," he said as he kissed my lips, "Happy Anniversary."
I smiled.
"I knew that," I said, "I just wanted to make sure you knew. So where are we going?"
"Well, I think its best if I kept you surprised til we get there," Deku said, "Now close your eyes."
"Ok," I said.
After a few minutes we were walking and my eyes were closed.
"Are we there yet?" I asked.
"Not yet," he answered smiling.
"Well, can I at least take a small peek, pretty please?" I pouted playfully
"Sorry, no can do," he answered again, "But I can tell you that we're nearly there."
Hearing that calmed me down a little bit.
"Well, there's some good news at least," I sighed giggling, "So what's this place like?"
"Well, let's just say that nobody has been able to get a reservation to this area," he explained, "That is… until today."
"Deku you're such a sweet boyfriend," I stated.
I then looked to him with a curious look.
"But how did you manage to get reservations?"
"Probably after my big battle against All For One," he stated, "Looks like the people were really grateful for what I did."
"Well they should be, they sure are lucky to have such a cute and caring hero to save them," I said as I managed kissed his cheek despite my eyes being shut.
Deku blushed and I chuckled quietly.
"Ok, we're here," he said, "Open your eyes."
"Finally, that took a bit too….. whoa!"
We were looking at a restaurant that was the size of a mansion, The Spice Cuisine.
"What do you think," Deku asked.
"It's incredible," I said, "But don't you think its a little too much?"
I tried not to sound ungrateful while saying that.
"Part of me thought that too," he answered honestly, "But at the same time, I wanted to go all out for my special girlfriend."
I blushed at that statement.
"Besides, nothing is ever too much," he said as he pulled me closer to him, "Not when it's you Ochako."
Deku took my hand, "Shall we?"
"Yes," I said smiling.
We were walking inside.
"So how are you suddenly the smooth type of person now?" I asked, "You've gotten better at flirting. Like honestly, that was so smooth!"
"Well let's just say I got some ideas from a very unlikely source," he answered me, "Todoroki."
"Heh, I never expected him to give you those lines."
I giggled.
The two of us walked in.
It was really fancy for a restaurant.
Deku pulled a chair open for me.
"Such a charmer," I said as I sat down.
I looked at the menu and saw a lot of amazing things.
"This menu is amazing isn't it?" Deku asked.
"Yeah, the only thing missing is mochi," I stated playfully pouting.
"Then what's this?" Deku asked showing me Mochi in the dessert section.
"Oooh, I saw that I was just messing around," I said.
I truly didn't see.
After we ate the main course, we were having our desert.
"I can't get over the flavor!" I said eating the Mochi, "Its so good!"
Deku chuckled at me.
HE then sensed something was wrong.
The doors barged open and thugs appeared.
"This looks like a good place to get some grub."
They started to terrorize the people.
We both looked at them.
"Deku I'll evacuate the civillians, you take care of them!"
"Roger," Deku said channeling his aura.
He shot an Aura blast at one of the thugs.
"Well looks like we got a volunteer," said another one of them.
He had on some strange gauntlets.
They started to glow with an energy similar to Aura.
I was busy helping out the civilians. Using my quirk, I lifted up the debris and the people were starting to leave one by one.
Fortunately, I didn't puke this time.
I went back to Deku to help him.
"Deku what's going on?"
"These guys, something about them," he answered, "The seem to be using something similar to my quirk."
"Using your quirk?" I asked, "But how is that even possible?"
"That's none of your concern," the thug said charging up his gauntlets, "You're in the school of hard knocks with your host, Discharge. Let's dance boy."
Deku started fighting Discharge blasting aura blasts at him.
Discharge evaded them with ease.
"So you're the one who defeated All For One?" he asked, "You're smaller than i anticipated."
"Well every small fry has his day," Deku said.
Deku attacked with an Aura smash but Discharge somehow countered with ease.
"Those gauntlets…." He said.
"They were made specifically to block and/or counter your aura attacks, in fact, any attack in general!" Discharge explained, "I didn't think I'd run into you, but now that you're here, its gonna make me a fortune! Defeating the great Deku!"
One of his minions had his eyes on me.
"I'll take care of the floaty one," he said getting a nod of approval.
I barely dodged away from another one of the thugs who shot a chain from his palm.
"Get away from her!" Deku said.
He imagined a bo staff and started fighting him.
"Think you can take on Chainlink?" He asked, "Well bring it on."
Chainlink also had a ball and chain in his hand.
He used it on Deku knocking him away.
"Deku!" I said rushing to help him.
Chainlink caught me with his chain and I was trapped in his grasp.
"Where do you think you're going sweet cheeks?"
"To help my boyfriend," I said struggling, "Now let me go!"
"Not likely," he said.
Using each hand I managed to make him float and escaped his grasp.
"Now to help De…."
I suddenly found myself unable to move.
I looked and saw a man with some kind of magnet weapon keeping me in place.
"The boss really went overboard with these black market weapons!"
"Thought you could escape our grasp sweet cheeks," Chainlink said.
Discharge's gauntlets begun to glow a bright yellow
Deku got back up.
"You get your hands off my girlfriend, you creeps!" Deku said.
His body was glowing with aura.
"Aura… SMASH!"
He punched the guy with the magnet weapon so hard, his grip on me was broken.
I rushed to Deku's side.
"Thanks, I owe you one," I told him.
"No problem."
We both looked to Discharge who was the only one left.
"Team move?"
"Like you have to ask," I answered.
He channeled up aura in his hand.
I rushed to Discharge.
"Don't know when to quit do you?"
He started firing blasts at me and I narrowly dodged them
When I was close enough, I made him float.
Deku then jumped up and did a fully charged Aura Smash knocking him down to the ground.
He landed so hard his gauntlets broke and something fell from them.
"I think he's down," I said, "That was sick Deku!"
"Thanks," he told me while chuckling.
"I came in and dodged it and made him float, and he was all like 'oh nooo! ' and then you went 'kapow! '" I said childishly.
He noticed the object that came from the gauntlets.
"Deku?"
As he picked it up he started to see things in his head.
He saw me, him, and Iida fighting someone who was hidden in the shadows.
"Deku!" I called out to him, "Deku!"
He awoke and saw me.
"Are you ok?" I asked him.
"I'm….. I'm ok," he said.
"What happened?" I asked, "You just started staring at me like I was some kind of alien."
"Did I?" I asked, "I'm sorry."
"Nono its ok," I said, "So how about we head back to the dorms."
As we walked back I noticed Deku was looking down.
"I'm sorry for ruining our date," he said, "I had no idea this would happen."
I pulled his chin and made him look up to me.
"Hey, you didn't ruin a damn thing Izuku," I said to him in a serious tone, "In fact, I dare say you made this the best and funnest anniversary surprise ever. And for that I thank you."
Deku smiled.
"It's me who should be thanking you," Deku said, "For always being by my side even when I was quirkless. You didn't hold a grudge against me when I failed to save your parents, and you showed me kindness when I felt like I didn't deserve it."
"No, Deku, it's really not like that," I told him, "Ever since that day you saved me from the burning building, you inspired me to become the best hero I can because of your unfaltering drive. I could never hold a grudge against you for such a thing, and I'll always be by your side, no matter what. "
I felt the urge to kiss him.
He was muttering to himself.
OK Deku, just take her by the wai….. the wai…..
He quickly grabbed my shoulders.
Shoulders!
I giggled.
"Deku this isn't the first time we kissed," I said, "I think you're supposed to hold me by the waist."
"Oh um…. right."
I chuckled and then a thought dwelled inside of me.
Wait… I'm supposed to hold him by the neck. You baka!
My arms quickly moved to his wasit.
"Ok, so far so good," we thought to ourselves, "Don't screw this up."
We came close to each other.
"I'm really happy I'm the one dating you." He stated.
"And I'm glad I scored the love of my life how I did," I said.
Deku chuckled.
"Did that sound too cheesy?"
"No, it sounded just right."
We came closer again.
The magic happened.
Our lips made contact and fireworks set off in our stomachs.
We stared into each other's eyes.
However the moment was ruined when….
"YEAH!" Mina shouted, "Get it Midori! Get it Ura!"
"M-MINA!" I said blushing while Deku's face became redder than my cheeks.
"UGH WHY DOES MIDORIYA ALWAYS GET THE GOOD..." Mineta managed to say before getting smacked by Tsu's tongue.
"Sato, can you be a dear and help me tie him right above a candlelight?" She asked nicely, to which Sato nodded.
Such a nice voice.. with such dark intentions. He thought
Aizawa gave us a thumbs up.
"Nice work you two," he said giving a rare smile, "You even made it to campus before cerfew."
"Um…. How long were you two standing there?" I asked.
"It was Mina's idea," Jirou stated deadpanned.
"yeah... Thanks for helping a friend out, jiro." Mina playfully shoved kyoka, "but we've been here since you two got to this restaurant." She answered.
I was silent for a second.
"So you mean to tell me….. YOU WATCHED US EAT AND KISS, AND ALSO FIGHT VILLAINS WITHOUT HELPING US?!" I shouted angrily.
They were lucky Deku held me back otherwise there would be hell to pay!
"Well we helped a little bit, we just weren't seen," Ojiro stated.
Eri rushed out to us.
"Papa, Mama, you're home!"
Deku picked her up.
"Hey there little snowflake," Deku asked, "Did you do anything fun?"
"Yeah, Auntie Midnight and I played Uno," Eri said.
"That sounds fun," Deku said.
"We even caught Mr. Scarfy kissing Ms. Joke on the couch," Eri whispered.
"You little sneak," Deku said as he playfully tickled her.
Eri giggled and he soon stopped.
I took Eri from his arms and hugged her.
"Did you and Papa have fun Mama?"
"We sure did," I answered, "We even battled some bad guys and beat them up."
Eri looked in excitement
"Did you win?" She asked in a cute voice.
"We sure did," Deku said.
"Papa and Mama beat the bad guy's butts!"
We all shared a warm laugh.
