The next day i packed my newly bought clothes and walked over to the cave in the forest.

"Hey buddy. Im back." I said while handing Kuroi a bucket of fish i got on the way. He instantly buried his head in the bucket so i just walked over to the cave and took out the saddle.

I waited for him to finish and then i showed him a road we will be flying on the map and put the saddle on him. It would be a one hour ride by a train but with Kuroi's flight speed it would about 20 minutes however i wanted to avoid the villages on the way so people wouldn't panic or so i wont be discovered by the terrorists.

When i arrived i hid Kuroi behind a corner and then rang the doorbell. Then my grandpa opened the door with a big smile on his face.

"Hi there, grandpa." I said.

"Welcome. Come on in."

"Wait a second. Before we go in i have to show you something. I have come here with a friend."

"Then what are we wait for just call him end we can go inside."

"I can't. He is kinda a dragon."

"A "dragon"? But that's how youths should be. You should learn from him. Where is he?" He said still smiling from ear to ear.

"Well he is behind that corner." I said pointing at the corner Kuroi was behind. "But i think you don't understand what i mean. He is literraly a DRAGON." I said while almost shouting.

"That's nonsense." He said walking out of the house towards the corner.

I actually already knew what would happen, so i looked away. Then i heard "AAA WHAT IS THAT."

And when i looked back i saw my grandpa practicaly sitting on the ground and laughing to himself.

"HAHAHA you were right i really didnt expect that." Then i looked behind the corner and saw a huge black lizard with wings sitting upright and making silly faces so he wouldn't look as scary.

"Well i didnt expect that either." i said smilling at Kuroi. "BTW his name is Kuroi." I then added.

"Oh. Nice to meet you Kuroi." Said grandpa.

Kuroi then nodded his head and then stood back on all four legs.

"So what are we going to do about him we can't just leave him while we talk inside. Someone is going to get a heart attack like me when they see him." Said grandpa.

"Yeah. I'll just take him to the back to the barn then come in you can just wait for me." I said while walking away with Kuroi.

"Alright then"

"So this will be our new home for a while now." I said as i took Kuroi to the barn.

I then walked back to the house and sat down next to grandpa in the kitchen.

"So i see that quite a few things happened on your side." He said looking seriously concerned about my situation.

"Yeah, pretty much. The main thing is that i met Kuroi but that's not the reason why i came here"i said a little sad.

"Well then what was it."

"It's that our dormitory kinda burned out."

"What? How did that happen?"

"I don't know how it happened but luckily noone was hurt"

"Well that is fortunate."

"Ehm. Btw do you want me to show you some tricks we have learned with Kuroi?" I said trying to change the subject and avoid the awkward silence.
