The Calling's Revenge
Chapter 20th
Loreile and her sister have been working with getting the house into order for the better of two hours. They needed to take a break when Loreile's phone began to chirp on the coffee table. The caller's I.D. was showing Doctor Cyril Taft calling.
"Doc what's going on?" She sounded concern over the phone as she turned to face her sister Elizabeth sitting down on the couch.
"Just to let you know that Jethro has been released with the paperwork processed. I have ordered an ambulance to bring him home within the hour." He stated from the nurses station of the hospital.
"Excellent news. My sister and myself have the house ready for Jethro. Are there any special orders that I need to follow doc?"
"Just be sure that he tries to take it easy for a couple of weeks before going back to work. Otherwise I will inform Doctor Grace that she will have her session with Gibbs at the house starting tomorrow." Cyril relayed the information to her.
"Of course Doc! I will be sure that my husband listen to your orders even though it's going to be quite a chore in itself for when it comes to obeying." She chuckled as with Doctor Taft placing a patient's chart back to the young nurse at the station really busy. He ended the phone conversation to check on Gibbs to be sure that he was dressed and ready to be moved in the wheel chair and ambulance downstairs.

Regional F.B.I. Office
F.B.I. agent Tobias Fornell walked into his messy office after having a meeting with his boss upstairs on the eight floor. He really didn't understand the purpose of the meeting. Even though most of the info was military classified due to what had happened to special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
He was glad to know his friend wasn't killed on the island after being rescued by his friends of NCIS and the marines. He had gotten a call telling him that his friend of 20 plus years was being released from the hospital and will be home soon.
The new regional boss the F.B.I. in the meeting had told Fornell to continue to dig into looking for the Calling's organization in the United States especially in the local region of Washington, D.C., Alexandra, Fairfax and other counties. "Are we sure about the intel sent to the regional office sir?" Tobias had to asked in front of six other agents for the local sector.
Fornell was glad to be back working at the F.B.I. after playing private detective for awhile. It wasn't working out to his benefit, so he decided to take up the offer of coming back into the fold and be closer to his silent enemies and Gibbs. "Yes, Fornell the intel is correct. The Calling might be out of the picture right now. There are others that will try again to kill your friend Fornell and I just don't wish to make any waves at this time."
"Are you serious sir? Gibbs was kidnapped, tortured and drugged for the truth. He's only now will be getting out of the hospital today." Fornell was angry with his new boss acting like a total jerk in front of him. However he needed to control himself before getting himself kicked out again.
"And why the F.B.I. plans to have a protection detail for a week to keep an eye out on your friend. However we will continue to investigate the entire situation agent Fornell. Now I suggest all of you get out and get back to work." Captain William McDougal said to his agents in his office. He wasn't liking the idea of being put into a corner with his new position and what has been going on with NCIS and Special Agent Gibbs.
"I will try my best sir to continue working in the field to search for answers. I have never been the one for the political world as with my friend Gibbs. He's been fighting a long standing battle both with NIS and NCIS over the many years." Fornell exhaled...
"Alright than get out of here and start searching for answers." The new F.B.I. local director replied with everyone leaving his office.

GIBBS House...
Special Agent Jethro Gibbs felt much better to be home in his own house in Alexandra. He was currently relaxing on his couch while Loreile was making lunch/dinner since he was complaining about being hungry.
He was slowly getting up from the couch slowly to help her out in the kitchen. He was feeling some what weak making it to asked her on whether she needed any help. Cooking the steak had his stomach rumbling.
"Smells good Loreile! Better than the god damn hospital food they forced me to eat." He smirked...
"The hospital had no choice Jethro since it was Taft's orders until he knew you were able to handle it after the way they found you on the island." She replied with stirring the onions and mushrooms in the frying pan.
"I still don't understand it Loreile since Vance and Fornell have been holding back on a number of items that I need to know." He sat down on the chair at the table taking in a quick breath into his lungs.
"I am sorry to say that Vance is holding back until you're able to handle the whole story. But in the meantime, you need to relax and enjoy the rest for now." She responded with a slight smile finishing up the last of the mushrooms and onions before deciding to eat.
"I don't know how much resting I can stand until I can get back to work." He says with slight sadness.
"I would think after all of these years that you would want to relax Jethro after aborting your first retirement with Mike Franks in Mexico?" She sneer slightly with her comment.
"Back then things were different Loreile. I won't discuss it now since I am starving." Gibbs said...
