A/N: Hey, so many of you keep asking me this but this story is not set in the original year. It's not 1991 but this story is set in 2016, which is why I talk about iPhones. Guys, I'm soooo sorry that I didn't post this on Sunday, like I thought I had!

Chapter Twenty-Two: Harry

Harry was sitting on Hallie's bed watching her get ready in the mirror that was attached to her dresser. "Why did Gran decide on this dress! Aren't you too young to wear it?" He groaned. He was really starting to hate the dress even though his sister was doing everything she could to cover herself up.

"I don't know why, Harry! But I like it. I feel really pretty in it." Hallie tells him after she finishes putting on some lip gloss. She turns around to face him and he did have to admit that his sister looked beautiful. The dress was a spaghetti strap red dress that ended a little bit above her knees and it had a lace up tie thing running from the top of the dress to about where his sister bellybutton probably was at. And he was right about how she did try to cover herself up with black tights that ran into black ankle boots with some studs at the top. She was also wearing a black long-sleeved cardigan. Around her neck, was her new 'H' letter necklace that Melanie had given her for Christmas and she was wearing her single heart bracelet from Mrs. Figg around her wrist. Aunt Petunia had come upstairs earlier and had curled both Hallie's and Prim's hair and Hallie had her bangs pushed back with a skinny black head band with a black bow on it.

Harry sighed before falling back onto her bed. "You do look very pretty, Hals. I just don't like it since I'm your big brother." Hallie laughed as she walked over to her brother just as Prim came running into the room with Ron and Dudley.

"People are already arriving!" Prim greets happily. "Goodness, Hals, you look wonderful! Seamus shall love you in that." Prim joke as Hallie blushed red. "Gosh, I'm just kidding! We should really start to head downstairs soon to greet our friends!"

Hallie sighed but linked her arm with her cousin, "You look great to, Prim. That green dress looks amazing on you!" Hallie was right. The green sleeveless dress fell to Prim's knees and she was wearing black tights, black boots with studs, and her new 'P' letter necklace from Melanie.

"Thanks, mum said that she helped pick out all of our clothing for tonight." Prim says with a smile. "So, mum was able to choose colours that matched Harry's and Dudley's eyes. She had to guess with you, but I told her that you did have blue eyes." Prim said with a blush as Aunt Petunia walked up.

"Kids, Hermione and her family are here." Aunt Petunia tells them with a smile as she gives Prim and Dudley a kiss on the forehead. "Prim and Hallie, you look so beautiful! Mum and I picked out amazing dresses. I was worried that the red of your dress would clash with your hair, Hallie, but I'm glad it didn't."

Hallie smiled before saying a quiet 'thank you' as Prim looked her mum up and down. "You look beautiful, mum."

"Thank you sweetheart. I wanted to make sure I looked nice since I would have my associates here tonight." Aunt Petunia said before she walked back down the stairs.

Harry looks over at his cousins and says, "I'm so happy, Aunt Petunia is able to do work with the Esher's newspaper. I love that she's able to do something that she loves to do."

Prim was about to say something when they heard someone opening the front door and Gran's voice carrying up the stairs. "Dudley, Piers and a few of your friends from school are here."

Dudley grins before racing down the stairs to meet up with his friends. "Come on, let's go find Hermione and Cordelia." Hallie says with a smile and the group of four makes their way to find their friend. Once they finally find her, Harry stops in his place because he couldn't believe that the girl he was seeing in front of him. She was wearing a sleeveless red Christmas dress with black tights and boots. The actual scene on the dress was Santa Clause flying his sleigh over snow covered houses. When he walked closer, he notices that she is wearing her 'H' letter necklace.

"Hey guys! Happy New Years! Has anyone else gotten here?" Hermione asked as she moved away from her sister and mum. Hallie shook her head 'no' and Hermione nodded. "Great. Hey Ron, there's your little sister." The group turned around and Ron smiled at his little sister.

Ginny comes running up to Ron and says with a smile. "Isn't the dress that Melanie bought me beautiful?" Ron smiles and nods his head. "Is Fred and George here yet?" It was Harry who shook his head and she sighed. "Just so I know, you guys will tell me who isn't magical, right? I don't want to say something by accident."

"Yeah, one of them is walking up now. Kira! I've missed you so much!" Prim says as she runs over to her muggle best friend. "That dress is so pretty!" Kira looked down at her pretty pink lace dress and smiles. "Come, I want you to meet some of my best friends at my new school." Prim pulls Kira over towards the group and starts to introduce her to Ron and Hermione. "So, this is Ron. We met him on the train ride and Ron and Harry have been the best of friends since. This is Hermione Granger. We've been friends with her since July. We all met when we were doing our last bit of school shopping. You know Reid and the two girls standing next to him are Hermione's and Ron's little sisters, Cordelia and Ginny. The other kids that we've meet at school aren't here yet. Let's go find my brother, so you can catch up. Hallie, find me when everyone gets here so we can do our Secret Santa exchange." Hallie nods her head and they all watch as the two girls run off to find Dudley and his friends.

"How are we supposed to keep Kira away when we do the Secret Santa?" Harry asks as they walk into the kitchen to grab something to eat.

Hallie looks over at him and shrugs. "Prim will probably sneak away or leave her with Dudley. Not that Kira will mind being left with Dudley."

Within an hour, Neville, Ella, Rowan, Ryder, Dean, Seamus, Lisa, Sophia, and Isabel got here and as they went to Harry's room with Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Reid, and Cordelia while Hallie went to find Prim. Minutes after they all got comfortable in Harry's room, Hallie and Prim walked in. "So, how should we start this?" Ella asked.

"I was thinking we could draw names like we do with everything. I've already put everyone's name in a bag, I just used the same slips of paper from when we drew for our Secret Santa. Anyone want to draw?" Hallie asks and everyone shakes their head 'no'. "Goodness! All of you are party poopers! Prim, hold the bag. Whoever I draw starts the gift giving and whoever gets draw will get their present last or it should at least go that way." Harry watched his sister put her hand in the bag and pull out a slip of paper. "Isabel, who was your Secret Santa?"

Isabel picked up a big box before walking over to Prim. Prim smiles and opens the gift. "Wow, thank you Isabel!"

"What did she get you?" Hermione asked from her place next to Harry.

Prim smiles and says, "It's a box of canvases. I thought we weren't supposed to buy gifts?"

"I didn't buy it. Or well a year ago, I did. My mum and I went to a painting class and this is what we had leftover and I know you loved to paint and draw, so I thought you would get more use out of them." Isabel says with a shrug. Prim nodded her head before she picked up her box and walked over to Seamus.

After he opened the box, he looked up and over at Hallie and then back at Prim before asking, "When did you draw this?"

"A week or so after we drew names. Two days later, I saw this and wanted to captured it, so without the two of you knowing, I drew it. Do you like it?" Prim asked as Seamus nodded his head 'yes'. "Good!"

Hallie stood up and asked, "What did she draw?"

"Just a picture of the group one day. All I remember is that you were explaining something to us." Prim answered with a smirk as Seamus carefully put the frame back in the box. "And the frame is something I had found at the house."

Seamus nodded and picked up his gift before walking over to Harry. "Here you go mate." Harry smiled at him before unwrapping the present. "It's a book on flying manoeuvres for each type of Quidditch position. I've study the book so many times that I know all of the moves for Beaters. And since you are the Gryffindor seeker, you might want to read up on ways to psych out the other seekers."

"Thanks, man. This is great!" Harry and Seamus smiled at each other before Harry picked up his gift for Neville. After Neville opened it, he looked up at Harry in confusion. "They are muggle plant seeds. I got them from my Aunt Petunia. She never got to use them at our old house and at the moment, they aren't being used. I know you like Herbology and I thought you might like to give muggle plants a shot."

Neville looked back down at the seed packets before looking back up at Harry. "This should be fun. Thanks Harry." Neville smiles and picks up his gift before walking over to Hermione. "Here you go, Hermione."

Hermione carefully opened the book and smiled. "A book on the different types of blood statuses in the wizarding world. This should be an interesting read, Neville. Thank you." Neville smiles and Hermione picks up her gift and hands it to Ella.

Ella opened the small gift box and smiled. "Is this the collection of muggle fairy tales you were telling me about that one night at school?" Hermione nodded her head 'yes'. "This is amazing! Thank you so much, Hermione!"

Hermione nodded her head and Ella walked over to Hallie with a gift in her hand. Hallie smiled at the other Gryffindor and opened the gift. "This is amazing! How? How do you have this?"

Hallie lifted whatever was in the box out and showed Harry and Prim. It was a photo album and on the outside cover was two beautiful people dancing. The girl had the same shade of red hair that Hallie had and the boy had the same type of devilish hair and glasses that Harry had. "Neville and my parents were friends of yours… So, I went home and looked for pictures of them and I know that I wasn't supposed to do so, but there is another photo album – all of the same pictures – for Harry. I didn't see how it was right to not let him have some pictures of his parents together." Ella said as she took the other album out of the box. "If anyone has a problem with this, can we just pretend that it's a different album and that Hallie was the one to give him it?"

"Ella, we don't care. The fact that you had pictures of their parents puts all of our gifts to shame actually." Lisa says with a little laugh as the others nod their heads to show that they agreed with her.

Ella smiled and blushed as she handed Harry the album and that was that. "Hals, give your gift before Ella dies over here." Harry tells his twin and Hallie nods. She picks up her gift and walks over to Ryder.

He quickly opens it and laughs. "Really? Twister?" Ryder takes the game box out and laughs. "I haven't played this game since I was in grade school. Where did you even get this?"

"Well, we had two different Twister games, so I just picked the one that we probably wouldn't play all that often. Almost all of our board games were our mums when they were growing up." Hallie told him with a shrug.

Ryder laughs yet again before saying, "Well, thank you. My little sister will get a kick out of this when I get home. She'll want to play non-stop until I head back to Hogwarts." Hallie and Harry laughed and Hallie shook her head. "Well, here you go mate." Ryder says as he hands Ron a box. Ron quickly opens it and gives everyone a goofy smile.

"What did you get, Ron?" Harry asked his best friend and Ron showed everyone.

"It's a model of one of the first Chudley Cannons game. Ryder, mate, this is amazing! I can't wait to put it somewhere in my room. And I'll be super careful with it. I know this had to have taken you some time." Ron tells their Hufflepuff friend.

Ryder rubs the back of his head and shrugs. "It did but that's why I asked my mum to put a protection spell on it. So, it shouldn't break; but I also did use muggle Gorilla Glue since when I made this, I didn't know a smidge of magic."

Ron nods his head and smiles at the other boy. "Well, I still promise to take really good care of it. This is the one of the best presents this year, thank you." Ryder grins and sits back down in-between Rowan and Lisa. Ron picked up his gift and walked over to Sophia. "It's not much, but I still think you'll like them."

Sophia quickly opened the gift and smiled. "This is great, Ron! Please tell me that these are only duplicates and not the only one that you have?"

"They are duplicates. I don't think I could ever give up semi-rare and rare Wizard Cards." Ron said as he went red.

Sophia smiled and gave him a quick awkward hug before grabbing her gift and heading over to Rowan. Rowan quickly opened the box and pulled out a book. "I found this book along with my mum's books. It's about the life of Helga Hufflepuff. My mum had an extra one since my dad had the complete collection and she only had the one on Hufflepuff since she was a Hufflepuff. I just thought you might like it since you're a new Hufflepuff member."

Rowan laughed and looked down at the book. "This is the best book ever! Thank you!" Sophia smiled and sat down as Rowan walked over to Lisa with Lisa's gift. "Here you go, Lisa."

Lisa smiles and rips open the book. "Oh. My. Merlin!" Lisa pulls out her gift and shows everyone. The gift was a beautiful blue and bronze knitted throw blanket. "How?"

Rowan laughs and sits down next to Lisa. "My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was eight, I think, and when I drew your name, I sent my mum an owl asking if we had all of the knitting materials still because I knew this was what I wanted to make you. Luckily, we did; we even had the correct yarn. I just had to buy new knitting needles but that's not only for this project."

"I love this! This throw will be used very, very often." Lisa told the Hufflepuff with a smile. She stood up with a wide box and made her way over to Dean. "I didn't know what to get you but I thought what would a Gryffindor want. And to be honest, I had no idea! So, I asked Hallie over here and she then asked Seamus, so they both knew that I had drawn your name." She told him has he opened the gift. "Seamus had told me that since you grew up as a muggle, you don't know anything about Quidditch. So, I thought you might like something of my favourite team, Montrose Magpies. They don't have to become your favourite team but I thought you might like it." Lisa shrugged as Dean pulled out a worn jumper. "My dad bought it for me when I was seven and well, we didn't realize it was the wrong size or that it was for an adult male, but well… I slept in it for the longest time and to be honest, it's never going to fit me, so I thought giving it to someone else would be for the best." Lisa blushed and looked down.

Dean smiled and pulled on the jumper. "Thanks, Lisa. Seamus has been trying to get me into Quidditch since the term started. He even gave me a book on all of the teams that are still around." Dean gave her a quick side hug. "And now onto the last one of the night. Isabel, are you ready for your gift?" Isabel laughed and held out her hand. She quickly opened the gift and let out another laugh. "Do you like it? I had some help from my sisters."

"Dean, this is really beautiful. Are you sure you want to give this to me?" Isabel asked as she fingered the delicate dreamcatcher. "Also, where did you get this?"

Dean rubbed the back of his neck and looked down. "Right before my mum married my stepdad, we went on a trip to the States and well, I got a few different dreamcatchers. So, when I got your name out of the bag, I remember how you said that you sometimes have bad dreams… Well, like I said, I got many dreamcatchers when we went to the States. I gave all of my sisters one for their birthdays and I had two left over. And they helped me picked the prettiest one." Harry looked over at the dreamcatcher and could definitely agree on it being beautiful. It was mostly white but the tassels started to fall out into multiples shades of blue.

Isabel smiled and played with the feathers. "Thank you, Dean. This means a lot." She smiles at him and looks down. "We should probably head back down, right?" Harry nodded and he, Hallie, and Prim cleaned up while the others packed up their gifts. Once everything was ready to go, the group of Hogwarts students made their way back into the party. Harry watched Prim leave to go look for Kira and all of a sudden, he was surrounded by the Gryffindor Quidditch team. He saw Fred and George by-pass Ron to pull Ginny into a hug.

"Hey, what am I? Chopped liver?" Ron asked, annoyed.

Fred looked up from the group hug that he, George, and Ginny were involved with. "We get to see you every single day whereas we won't be able to see Ginny again until the end of the school year." Fred told his younger brother and Harry laughed and shook his head. "Hey, Harry. It's good to see you. I'm so happy that you and the Bennetts are good friends because I hated not being able to see Ginny during the holiday."

"It's no problem. I'm happy to see you guys. Have you've been able to fly much since the holiday has started?" Harry asked as he looked around to make sure no one had overheard him.

Oliver Wood laughed and looked around before saying, "Yeah, a tad bit. I've been working on new plans for how we will win against Hufflepuff. I mean, I'm not too worried about beating them but I need to come up with a new plan on how to play them since they are not as aggressive as the Slytherin house." The rest of the team groans as Prim and Kira walked up to them.

"What's going on, guys?" Prim asked.

Harry looked back at his cousin before saying, "Oliver was just telling us about how he is making plans for our football team to beat one of the other team. And you know how Wood is about football." Prim laughs and shakes her head.

"Wait, you play football now, Harry?" Kira asked in amazement.

Hallie looks over at Harry before answering for him. "Yeah, he made the team because of another boy in our school being a prat. He had taken something of Neville's and Harry was trying to get it back for him while Neville was in our Hospital Wing for a broken wrist."

Kira looked over at Prim and then took a quick glance over at Neville. "How did you break your wrist?"

Ella was about to answer for him when Neville said calmly. "I'm not very good with sports and we were playing football when I had tripped and landed on my wrist, breaking it."

"That sucks; but it's all better now, right?" Kira asked and Neville nodded his head 'yes'. "That's good then. And you know, Prim isn't good at sports either." Harry and Hallie laugh because they know the full extent on how correct Kira's statement was.

"Kira! You're supposed to be my best friend and not tell my new friends this! Let them figure it out!" Prim wines and Harry laughs as he pulls Prim into his side for a hug. "Come on, let's go play a game or something."

Hallie walks up behind Prim and asks, "What game? We should play Apples to Apples again! That was so much fun the other night!"

"Sure, let's head back upstairs, so we are out of the way!" Prim says and she leads the group through the party and up the stairs. "Oh, Kira, I forgot, we haven't done Christmas yet. Hallie, let's play in your room and Kira and I will be there in a few moments."

Hallie nodded and Harry followed his sister into her room. "Okay guys, we need to be quick in explaining how to play Apples to Apples. So, you get seven red cards at the beginning of the game and there is always one judge each round." Hallie grabs a green card and says the definition. "Okay, so we need to lay a red card down that you think the judge would pick." She lays down about five red cards before shuffling them. "Each round you should pick up a red card as soon as you place yours down. Now let's see. We have Tom Hanks, toe nails, Tom Cruise, wet dog, and liver. So, if I were the judge and had to pick the best one for the word 'disgusting', I would have to choose liver. Say Harry had put liver down, he would win the green card. Do you guys understand?" Most of their friends from Hogwarts nodded and Hallie let out a sigh of relief. "We can go through another round of explanation after Kira and Prim walk in. We can just pretend it's been years since you've played." Once Kira and Prim walked back into the room, Hallie looked up and said, "We need to have a round or two as a refresher. Or help me go over the rules again since for half of them, it's been forever since they last played Apples to Apples."

"No problem, Hals. Let's get this started." Prim says with a smile and the group starts to play.

A few hours later, the group admits defeat when Hallie is holding up five green cards where most of them only have one or two. "Guys, you need to bring this back to school! We could have epic game nights!" Rowan says with a laugh as she helps Harry clean up.

"We should. Harry, do you have room in your bag?" Hallie asked even though Harry knew that she knew he did have room in his bag.

"Of course, I'll leave it in my room. We should really head on downstairs for dinner." Everyone nods their heads and start to file out of the room. Harry walked down to his room and placed the Apples to Apples box on top of his trunk. He was about to walk down the stairs when he realized that he left his phone on Hallie's floor. Walking down the hall he stops and hears his sister and Seamus talking quietly.

"I know, I wasn't going to get you anything either but well, I saw this and thought it was completely you." Hallie said softly.

Harry peeked around her door and saw that she was handing him a wrapped box. He watched as they both opened their boxes and heard them laugh. "Really? A lion's necklace?"

"What? You may not always see how you are a true Gryffindor, but you are. You stand up for what you believe in and in my opinion that makes you very brave. And I love my Kenmare Kestrels' jumper. Thank you." Seamus pulls Hallie into a quick awkward hug and Harry runs away from the room and down the stairs.

He finds Hermione and pulls her off to the side. "Can you text my phone? I can't remember where I left it." He lied but Hermione did it anyways.

"Hallie said that you left it on her floor but she'll bring it down to you now. She needed to do something in her room before coming back downstairs." Harry nodded because he knew exactly what his sister needed to do. He was confused because he wasn't sure what this now meant for his relationship with either Hallie or Seamus. Stupid Irish bloke! Harry grumbled but followed his friends to the dining room where the food was set up.

A/N: So, I've decided to submit this on to the Watty Awards; so I might have to take this off of here; but I am going to fully publish it first. Thank you all for the kind words and for reading it and loving it! If I do have to take this off of , you can always read it on Wattpad! I love you all dearly!
