The next morning Derek and Penelope woke up still wrapped in each others arms, he kissed the top of her head and said, "morning beautiful", Penelope laughed and said, "I'll show you a good morning hotstuff". He looked down at her lovingly and said, "ohhh how I've missed hearing you say that" as his lips descended on hers.
They pulled apart to Reid saying, "ahhhh man, why don't you two get a room", Penelope giggled and said, "we kinda already do boy wonder" and he blushed and said, "I guess your right" as he put their breakfast down in front of them". Derek said, "what's in the bag pretty boy"?, Reid said, "donuts and chocolate muffins and of course coffee" as he handed them both their cups,
Penelope took a sip and said, "ahhhh yes, heaven", JJ said, "you want to talk about heaven, just wait till you try one of those muffins", Emily said, "ohhhh yeah, they are delicious". Penelope took a bite and closed her eyes and said, "ohhhh that is delicious" as she swallowed her bite and took another sip of coffee.
Derek took a bite of his donut and said, "wow, these are still warm", Dave said, "yeah Jessica just made them", Reid said, "the people in this town are so amazing Garcia, I see why you like it so much". Penelope said, "they have all been so nice to me when they didn't have to be and I will always appreciate that".
Hotch walked into the room and said, "I saw Desmond up at the nurses station and he said that he would be down in a few minutes with your release papers", Penelope grinned and said, "thanks bossman, waitttttt, are you still bossman to me or did I lose my job when I left, ohmygodhaveilostmyjob"?, Hotch said, "Garcia, calm down, no you haven't lost your job, just calm down, getting excited isn't good for you or the baby right now".
Penelope blew out a deep breath and said, "what did I ever do to deserve such an amazing family"?, Reid said, "you're just you Garci.a and that's all we need". Emily nodded her head and said, "so true", Dave said, "Derek I talked to your mom a few minutes ago and they are on their way, they should be here earlier than they thought".
Derek said, "good, it will be good to have the family all together again", Emily said, "how are you feeling this morning PG"?, Desmond walked into the room and said, "that's what I'd like to know too Penelope". Penelope swallowed her bite of muffin and said, "I feel great, slept all night long and didn't have any troubles at all".
Desmond smiled and said, "that's great news and according to your chart your vitals were stable all night soooo I see no reason not to release you, so after you get finished with your breakfast you are free to go". Penelope said, "thank you Desmond, thank you so much for everything you've done to help me".
He said, "you are very welcome, now I will go and let you enjoy the rest of your breakfast and I guess I'll see you later", as he turned to walk out the door Penelope said, "you are still coming to our wedding aren't you"?, Desmond smiled at her and said, "I wouldn't miss it for the world Penelope".
As he walked out the door Penelope said, "he's going to make somebody an amazing husband", JJ said, "I agree, who knows maybe Sarah or Desi might" and Derek said, "if either of them want him I won't fight them at all, he's a great man and if it weren't for him throwing himself in front of baby girl, who knows what would have happened".
Penelope sighed and said, "clothes, I have no clean clothes to" and Emily put a bag on the end of the bed and said, "clothes for you to wear home", Derek said, "I don't guess you brought me anything did you"?, Reid said, "of course we did, your clothes are in the bag too, so finish your breakfast and then go get changed so we can get out of here".
Derek nodded his head and said, "sounds like a plan pretty boy, sounds like a plan" as he finished the rest of his donut and took a few sips of his delicious coffee.
