Law saw one of the men from the Revolutionary Army walking near him.
-Where is your general? - the surgeon asked.
-Huh? Sleeping, obviously - he replied - And you don't know how many pills we have had to give her!
-And what room is she in?
Joe Bunny raised an eyebrow.
-Do you think we're in a fucking 5-star hotel? This is a military camp! The few beds there are, are for the wounded!
Law sighed annoyed.

Joe Bunny pointed to one end of the camp.
-Hey pirate - he caught his attention - Don't even think about waking up the general. She really needs to rest.

Law simply moved his hand and went to the place that Joe Bunny had indicated.
When he finally found her, he saw that she wasn't even lying on the floor.

Law almost laughed out loud.

Hearing his voice, Mina opened her eyes, but this time for real.
She saw Law standing beside her, grinning at her.
-Was that a dirty dream with me?~
Mina blushed violently.
Penguin was passing his captain's cabin when he suddenly saw the door open.
He saw how his captain Law was kicked out of his own room.
-Get the fuck out of here!
"Is that... Mina?" Penguin thought.
He saw Law leaving his own room while laughing.
-Oh come on, you don't have to be so shy. You can touch all you want~
They both heard the cabin door slam shut.
Both pirates looked at the door.
Penguin looked at his captain, who was still laughing, and dropped a drop of sweat.
-What have you done to her?
Law smirked.
-Me?~
-Hours later-
She looked around
A huge gold cage enveloped her.
She approached the bars. They were so shiny that she could see her reflection in them.
She could leave the cage at any time, because there was too much space between the bars.
And still, something in her head told her not to.
"Why do you want to go out? You have everything in here~"
She felt hands covering her eyes from behind.
"Why are you running away? Don't you love me? ~"
Her body felt heavy. Every time he spoke, she felt like she couldn't move.
"I won't go out"
She heard a laugh that made her blood run cold.

The hands moved away from her eyes.
The entire cage was filled with pink feathers.

Mina got up again.
Around her, was no gold cage. Just metal walls and shelves full of books with medical terms.
And she wasn't surrounded by pink feathers either, but a dark blue blanket.
She saw Law at the desk near the bed, reading.
Would he want to lock her in a beautiful golden cage too?
Would he not let her out, and still pretending to give her a fictitious freedom?
"He's like me ~" a very familiar male voice said behind her back.
She got out of bed quietly and got behind Law's back, without him realizing anything.
"Maybe I should kill him"
She thought she could break his neck at any moment, and he wouldn't even notice it.
He wouldn't even see his own death coming.
Law turned around.
-Hm? Have you already woken up? Have you dreamed about me again?~ - he teased her.
Mina came to her senses.
"Did I just... think about killing him...?" she thought horrified of herself.
It had been more than 5 years since she had stopped living with Doflamingo.

She saw those beautiful golden eyes look at her with a smirk.

She saw that Law was still waiting for an answer, so she decided to forget those terrible thoughts and play along.

He noted that the revolutionary's face was flushed and she was still panting slightly. He gently brushed her hair away from her face and stroked her cheek.
Now that he could think more clearly, he could see the black eye and bruises that Mina still had on her face, in addition to the ugly suffocation mark on her neck.
-I hope I haven't exceeded - he apologized while stroking her neck.

If it weren't for the fact that people had already seen her so hurt, they would think they had had some kind of masochistic sex judging by the injuries she had. Law sighed as he tried to push those thoughts from his mind.
Suddenly, a ray of consciousness hit his head. He was a doctor and had just had unprotected sex.

Mina laughed.

Law looked at her in surprise.

From the deck of the submarine, they looked at the military camp that was not too far away.
After a while in silence, Mina finally spoke.
-Sometimes... don't you think about what you would be doing if we had lived through peaceful times?
-Well, if I hadn't been a pirate, I would have been a doctor anyway.
Mina looked at the pirate.
-What are you thinking? - Law ask her.
-If we had met in peacetime... Do you think we could have been happy together?
A peaceful world?
-If Flevance's genocide never happened, I would have had a good life with my parents and Lamy, I would have graduated from a good academy as a doctor and I would have had a good job in some rich-ass people's hospital.
Mina laughed.
-I think I would have been Marine.
If her father hadn't died, she probably would have had a nice family life. And she would have grown up with the values of the Navy.
-Or maybe not - Law said.
-Why?
-Maybe I would also have been a rebel and decided to go out to sea as a pirate. And maybe you wouldn't put up with your job as a Marine and quit to become a revolutionary.
Mina started to laugh.
