Akuma's POV:
A few weeks had passed since Itachi placed on a comatose state both Kakashi sensei and Sasuke. A few weeks since Naruto and Master Jiraiya left to find and bring back the legendary Tsunade. I left out a sigh as once again walked the so familiar to me now, halls of the hospital. The past few weeks, I have been training a little with Guy sensei but most of my time, I spent it visiting Sasuke, Lee and of course Sensei. Right now, I left Lee's room and I was on my way towards Sensei's.
I knew that they would not wake up any time soon, but I wanted to take care of them. That is, after all, the promise I gave to Old Man. I left yet another sigh as I reached his room. I opened the door, only to stop at my tracks, surprised by the person that was in it.
"Shikamaru… what are you doing here?" I asked as I closed the door and walked towards him.
"Hey, Akuma… I do nothing. Asuma sensei sent me to check on how Kakashi sensei was" he said in his usual bored tone, hands in the pockets of his pants.
"Oh! How sweet of him. Unfortunately, nothing has changed ever since" I said as I took my usual spot at the chair next to his bed.
"I almost forgot to tell you"
"What is it?"
"Naruto is back and apparently he brought h 5th Hokage, Lady Tsunade"
The news made me jump from the chair. "What? And now you are telling me? Geez, Shikamaru you could tell me from the very beginning… *sigh* It's okay. Good thing is that Kakashi sensei, Sasuke and Rock Lee are going to be aright"
"Yeah" he agreed and we did not say another word.
He and I were never very close. He used to skip classes along with Naru and the others while I had to stay back, due to Old Man's deal. However, our relationship, you can say has improved somehow but we still are not and best friends. We were quiet for a while but the silence broke by the door opening and hills echoing in the room. We both turned our heads only to come face to face with a beautiful blond woman. She had brown eyes, a big and I mean big chest and a purple seal at her forehead.
She was sending out a deadly aura, full with authority that would make even the naughtiest shinobi to follow her orders. However, I could not stop but admire her. She was, you can say, the person I wanted to be. I mean, not with such deadly aura but still. She was the person that was strong but also kind and the others would respect and follow her.
"Hey Akuma, we are back!" a very familiar voice snapped me from my gaze and turned my attention, behind the woman.
"Naru, you are back!" I said as I hugged him only for a second later to release him and punch him hard on the head, causing a bump to grow.
"Hey! What was that for?" he asked while rubbing his head.
Tsunade's POV:
I had just healed Naruto's comrade, Sasuke and now he was dragging me to heal his sensei, Kakashi. I actually smirked at him as I had a very good scolding to give him. He finally stopped dragging me when we reached a room, which I guessed was Kakashi's. I opened the door and when I entered, I came face to face with two genin. One was Shikamaru, Shukaku's son that I happened to meet a little while ago. The other was a girl that I did not know but she definitely triggered my attention for some odd reason.
She had black hair, and I mean black that she could be mistaken as an Uchiha and crimson red eyes. That is a weird shade of red, I thought as I studied the girl carefully. She seemed to study me too. From her position and from her body language, I could say that she was like Naruto's female comrade, Sakura, meaning that she lacked confidence. However, she was also giving a weird aura. A protecting one but also a threatening one, just like an animal would do. Strange, I thought as I look/glared at the girl.
"Hey Akuma, we are back!" Naruto said as he pushed me aside and entered the room.
"Naru, you are back!" the girl, Akuma, said and hugged him only for when they let go of each other, to punch him hard on the head. I was surprised when I saw a bump appearing, indicating that the punch was far from friendly.
"Hey! What was that for?" he asked while rubbing the place he had hit him with fake tears in his eyes.
"For leaving for I do not know how many weeks. For not sending me, any letter that you were okay. For dumping me here to die from boredom while you were out there!" she complained and once done, she huffed and folded her hands in front of her chest. Her head was moved to the side while she gave a sort of side glare at the blond, emphasizing her anger.
"Sorry about that. How about I treat you some ramen later?" he asked while rubbing the back of his head. Now that is interesting, I thought and mentally smirked.
"Barbeque and Dango later"
"Fine, fine", Naruto gave up and Akuma smiled, dropping her hands by her side.
Then, she turned her attention to me. Her eyes sparkled before she placed her hands on her laps. "So, you must be the legendary Lady Tsunade, am I right? It is an honour to meet you", she said and bowed.
"Yes, nice to meet you Akuma," I said and patted her head. She was a strange kid indeed but quite likeable at the same time. Unlike her teammates, she seemed mannered.
"Are you going to heal Kakashi sensei?"
"Of course she is going to datebayo! She already healed Sasuke and she is simply amazing for someone her age!" Naruto said and I glared at him.
"Sasuke is awake?" she asked with a smile and new excitement.
"Yeah, Sakura is with him right now"
"I see. Then, I guess I will visit him later. Sakura deserves to spend more time with him anyway", she said, her tone dropping and so did her smile.
Just like Naruto, she seemed to have certain feelings and wants but backed off most of the times. The lack of confidence I quickly spotted was showing again, surprising me with her quick change of moods. I decided to interrupt this weird atmosphere.
"Now that you two had your little reunion, let's wake Kakashi shall we? I have to scold him anyway" I said while muttering the last sentence and placed my hand on his forehead.
After a few seconds, Kakashi opened his eyes and a small gasp escaped his lips. He took him a few seconds to study his surroundings and his eyes widen when he landed on me.
"Look who decided to finally wake up" Akuma told Kakashi with a smirk.
"Huh? Oh, it is you Akuma" he said, his tone normal but then his eyes landed on me. "Lady Tsunade … W-What are you doing here?"
"She is the new Hokage Dattebayo!"
"Not only that but she healed you sensei", Akuma said as she sat at the end of his bed.
"Now that I remembered, the whole situation is… *sigh* disgraceful. To be taken completely out of the game by two low life punks like that. I thought you were supposed to be the best" I scolded.
"Sorry… to disappoint you" was the only thing he said.
He did not dare to look at me. Instead, he was constantly looking at his feet. I completely got it that but he knew I was right. Kakashi was indeed one of the best and go down like this…
"Do not be so hard on him Lady Tsunade. He was against Itachi after all"
"There is no need Akuma. She is right" he said in the same sad and embarrassed voice.
Akuma and Kakashi both left out a sigh at the same moment. Then, they looked at each other and while Kakashi smile under his mask, Akuma started giggling like a small girl. I was surprised that Kakashi would smile. Moreover that a student of his would make him smile. Yes, it definitely is a while ever since I met him. I guess that this team must have changed him.
"Okay that's Kakashi sensei! Just one more and you are all done!" Naruto reminded and also interrupted me from my thoughts.
"It is Rock Lee! He is right next door! Next door!" Guy said and he seemed that he was ready to explode. He then ran to the door, with Naruto, Shizune and I following.
"Wait! Akuma are you coming?" Naruto asked her.
"Nah! I am good. I think I will go to train. Guy sensei, also, deserves to see him more than me. It was nice meeting you Lady Tsunade" she said, bowed one more time and exited from the window. What a strange girl, so many mood changes. Just like Kushina when she was pregnant.
"Akuma wait! Why are you leaving from the window? There is a door you know" Kakashi said and we all looked at him and then at her, who smirked.
"Because it is more fun that way" she smirked and jumped.
I raised an eyebrow at her childish behaviour and I decided to let it pass for now. I would do more research for her later, anyway.
Akuma's POV:
Took a few days since Lady Tsunade arrived at the village but the time for the ceremony had finally arrived. The whole village gathered in front of the Hokage building. Everyone, of every age, shinobi or not, had gathered to see and hear our new Hokage. On the roof of the building, Lady Tsunade wearing the Hokage hat with the kanji symbol of fire was standing at the railing, while smiling.
In the front, was all of us, the 10 rookies, along with our senseis, all the academy students and of course, Guy's team. Then Lady Tsunade took off the hat and said:
"From this day I shall protect the Hidden Leaf Village as the 5th Hokage!", and with that, we all clapped and cheered.
I did less loudly but deep down I believed she would be a great Hokage. The sun was smiling upon us and I knew that the Old Man rested in Peace, knowing that his village was in good hands. The visit to Itachi a few weeks ago was always at the back of my mind but by how good the things had started to turn, I didn't pay it much of an attention.
It was a day after Lady Tsunade's speech and everything went back to normal. Right now, we were returning from countless chores, I mean D-rank missions. Kakashi sensei had left us, possibly to go and read his pervert book.
"Hey, you want to see it, don't you? I believe it is time" Naru said and draw our attention.
I raised an eyebrow at him and so did Sakura. Sasuke kept his poker face as usual and did not say nor showed any emotion.
"For what?" Sasuke and I asked after a few seconds of annoying silence.
"Kakashi's sensei true face," he said while he had a torch under his face, making him look scarier than ever before.
This, however, made Sakura scream and punch his on the head hard. The punch was strong enough to not only create a bump but also force Naruto's face to kiss the ground beneath.
"What is the matter with you?!" she shouted and started to scold him while he was holding his aching head.
I shook my head and left out a sigh, knowing very well that something like this would happen. I would have stepped in or done something but, to be honest, Naru had it coming with trying to be scary.
"Please this is lame. You can count me out. We finished today's mission, so I am out of here", Sasuke suddenly said and I focused my attention on him, only to see him walking towards the direction of his apartment.
"You are totally right", Sakura said with a blush and a fake smile. Despite what she was trying to pull, it was obvious that she was curious about the same thing and yet she tried to act cool and well, different for Sasuke. What a surprise.
It seemed to me I was the only one less...complex in this team and I was also curious about the incident. I decided to give it a try, hoping that maybe I could change the tides. "Come on now Sasuke. Naru is right. Do not tell me that you are not curious, not even a bit?"
I knew very well that what was behind that mask, was none of our business but that was sounding so fun and to tell you the truth, I am really and I mean really, curious about it. I looked at Naruto who winked at me and his famous smirk was on his face. Oh, I know that smirk, an idea plopped on his mind, I thought and smirked.
"What if he has lips?" Naruto said/whispered and made Sasuke stop dead on his tracks. "Like a blip" he continued and Sasuke was definitely driven crazy.
Naruto and I started to chuckle and smirked.
"Just one more Naru and he is in" I whispered to him and we both tried to contain our laughter.
"Or maybe bad teeth," he said and we both smirked evilly as Sasuke turned and looked at us.
"Okay I am in," he said, causing Naruto and me to high five.
"So, how are we going to see his mask?", Sasuke asked.
"Naru, do you think what am I thinking?" I asked once we had all gathered together and winked at him.
"Of course Dattebayo!" he said and gave me a thumb up.
"Well?" Sakura asked, impatiently as ever.
"We are going to treat him ramen"
"So, he will have to pull down his mask in order to eat," I said, finishing Naru's sentence.
It was very simple, perhaps sounding stupid to our teammates but it was very logical. I mean, who ate with his mask on? And technically, it wasn't such a stupid or crazy plan. Now, all we had to do was to find him, persuade him and wait. I got excited at the idea and slightly impatient, wanting to see the results.
