Chapter 26
At the stadium, the crowd is there as Leon and Elena walk to the field as well as Ash and Lillie. Leon says, "Ash and Lillie. It is a pleasure to meet you here."
"Likewise." Ash says as they shake hands. "And I am looking forward to our match."
Elena says, "And we will make sure that we won't hold back just because you are the Prince."
"Same here." Lillie says as they all go back to the field. The group are watching as Kristen asks, "Is it just me or that those two seem to know Leon and Elena too well?"
"Maybe? It seems like they sure have some history." Amber says with a shrug. But she notices that the girls are glaring at Lillie, since she is battling alongside with Ash.
"Charizard, I need your help." Leon sends out his Pokemon as Elena says, "You too, Cooperajah."
As the two Pokemon appear, Ash says, "I see you are using your specialty...Pikachu, I choose you."
"Snowy, you too." Lillie says as she sends out her Ninetales, which causes a lot of commotion since it is weaker than Fire and Steel.
"Lillie sure is making a big mistake." Lusamine watches the match in worry. But Mohn says, "I won't think that fast if I were you."
Elena says, "Cooperajah, use Iron Head on the Ninetales." "Charizard, Flamethrower on the Ninetales as well."
As the two Pokemon charges at the Ninetales, Lillie says, "I know you are targeting me, which is why I have a strategy of my own. Use Protect." As the Ninetales shields itself from those moves, Lillie use Aura to remind Ash as Ash says, "Pikachu, Thunderbolt."
Then the move hits two Pokemon hard. Leon says, "Not bad. One is going offensive and one is going defensive...I see you have nice teamwork."
"Thanks, should we take this into the next level? Leon?" Ash asks as he says, "You bet."
Then the two of them Gigantamax their Pokemon, much to everyone's surprise. Brock says, "I know that Dynamax is popular in the Galar Region...but to be able to see it in person..."
"That is so amazing...I wished I could do that as well." Max frowns.
"I am sure you can, Maxy." Bonnie says causing him to blush a little.
Elena says, "Looks like Leon is the one using the Gigantamax...then let me use some trick. Play Rough."
As the Pokemon targets Ninetales. Lillie says, "I have been waiting for this. Confuse Ray." This causes the Cooperajah to get confused and Elena is shocked. Leon says, "G-Max Wildfire."
"No you don't. Use G-Max Volt Crash!" Two G-Max Moves are against each other as the power is so intense. Lillie says, "Now Ash, should we try out our combination move?"
"You bet." Ash says, "But we should wait until the Gigantamax is done."
Then after a series of attacks, both Charizard and Pikachu are returned to normal and then Ash says, "Let's do it, Lillie."
"Yeah." Lillie says. "Pikachu, Snowy! Icy Wings!"
Pikachu starts to run fast and then with Snowy shooting out Ice Beam to make the wings, Pikachu suddenly flies and crashes into Charizard, causing it to knock down to the ground.
"What was that move?" The crowd is very surprised as Ash says, "By using the speed of the Quick Attack, Pikachu can create some magnetism that floats into the air, and the Ice Beam is just a decoration to let the opponent feels like Pikachu is flying on the wings."
"A perfect way to confuse the opponent and also deal with the combination damage." Lillie says, causing the group to be in awe.
The girls are surprised as Misty says, "When did Ash come up with such smart move?"
"Beats me." Kristen says.
As for the Champions who are watching, they are in awe, while Delia and Adam just smile at their son and future daughter in law.
"Snowy, time to finish the move." Snowy barks as then Lillie starts to do the Ice Dance of the Z Move. "Subzero Slammer!"
Then Snowy freezes the Charizard into the ice, causing it to get knocked into Cooperajah. Ash says, "Volt Tackle!" Then with Pikachu running on the leftover ice, it reduces the friction and then it deals much more damage to the two Pokemon, creating an explosion to knock them unable to battle.
"That sure is some good Champion Time, Ash. Lillie." Leon says as they shake hands. Lillie says, "Well, we are really sorry that we break the title of the undefeatable Champion."
"It's fine. I sometimes have to lose after all." Leon says.
As for Ash, he says, "Elena, you sure have grown stronger. But it seems like we still win the battle."
"I know." Elena sighs. "But I am waiting for a rematch. But now that we are done, I assume we have some business to talk about?"
Then they all nod as they go back to the waiting room, but they are surprised to see that the others are waiting for them. Max says, "Ash, that Icy Wings are so cool. Can you teach us how to do it?"
Ash says, "Sorry, Max. This move is our special move and we can't teach others about it."
Lillie says, "He's right. It takes us a lot of times to develop those special techniques."
"And how many special techniques did you two make?" Ruka asks.
"We have two type combination, so with 18 types, there are 153 Special techniques that we have developed."
"Wow..." This causes the group to be in awe and Kristen says, "I just made 90 and you have 153? That is really amazing..."
"But why are you creating those moves?" Bonnie asks. "Isn't those moves we saw in the battles enough?"
Ash says, "You maybe right, Bonnie. But those moves will be boring after time. So we decide to create on our own, since it makes the battle more interesting."
As the girls want to ask something, but Lillie stops them and says, "Sorry, but you can't copy those moves in the contests because you will fail in the end."
"Oh yeah? And how do you know if we didn't try it out?" Dawn asks, annoyed at the blonde haired girl in front of them.
"Because you aren't strong enough." Lillie says. "I don't mean you are weak or anything, but those moves need strong will and power to use it. And clearly you don't have them."
"Oh yeah? And you have them?" Misty says.
Ash says, "She does have them. That is why we can use it flawlessly. I know you have some more questions to ask, but we really need to go. Elena and us have some things to talk about." Then the two leave, causing the girls to seethe in anger except for Bonnie, Amber and Ruka.
Amber sighs, "I wonder when will they learn that Ash is taken?" Gary just shrugs and says, "Beats me. And I am not going to tell them, I had enough injuries from them, right? Brock?"
"Totally." Brock says as they decide to go meet Delia and Adam.
Here is the battle and I hope you like it. The next chapter will be some stuff around the Galar Region.
