FIGHTING THE FORCE

(PART 2: TWO SURPRISES AT ONCE)

THIRD PERSON

As Braisa and Marida watched their forces still in the stalemate, they began to have doubts that was on her way. Eventually, Marida began to get both tired of the stalemate and curious as to why they were in the stalemate in the first places.

They got their answer when a clone trooper burst through the door. Due to the fact that the clone had removed his helmet, Braisa and Marida saw in his face a look of awe combined with terror. When they saw that look, both of them knew that something was happening.

"Colonel Micraden, Commander Nilun, I have something to report."

Marida then said, "Very well, what is it? Quickly!"

"A man with a bizarre yet devastatingly powerful lightsaber is slaughtering our troops! Eight clones engaged him but he slew all of them in just over a minute!"

12 minutes later, another clone entered, a look on his face saying, "Finally."

"What is it trooper. You have news too, I assume?" Braisa said.

"General Fraes has arrived!" the clone said, a tone of relief evident in his voice.

Braisa steeled herself and said, "We will be there shortly."

As soon as Braisa and Marida got to the battlefield, Marida yelled, "CHARGE!"

The clones then sprung from their trenches en masse to join their clone brothers in the melee.

Less than a minute later, Braisa had hacked down eleven stormtroopers before she heard an electronic crackle to her right. When she turned to the source of the voice, she saw Villeria wielding what appeared to be an electrostaff in her right hand and one of her pistols in her left hand. Just as Villeria electrocuted a scout trooper at the same time she shot a stormtrooper without looking, she turned towards Braisa and said, "Get down!"

Partially because Villeria outranked her as a general, but mostly because she trusted her friend, Braisa ducked as Villeria shot a stormtrooper that was apparently about to shoot her from behind.

As soon as Villeria and Braisa got back-to-back, Braisa said, "Where did you get the staff? I'd never know you to be so desperate for a new weapon that you would go to a black market dealer for something he no doubt saw lying forgotten on a battlefield."

Villeria electrocuted a Darktrooper and said, "An Imperial riot trooper was nice enough to let me keep his weapon after I defeated him on Kamino."

As Braisa cut down another Imperial trooper, she said, "I've never considered you as one to take spoils."

"Considering what was going on during the battle, I figured I'd use a melee weapon that could actually kill. If I stuck with my rifle and pistols, I'd be stuck with multiple clubs that would just knock them out at best. I heard General Nolek bested an Imperial officer, took the man's lightsaber, and kept it."

As Villeria and Braisa got separated during the fight, began to shoot as many enemy troopers as she could with her pistols or electrocuting them if they were too close, she saw Marida headbutt a stormtrooper and shoot him with her rifle.

Nine seconds later, she heard the unmistakable spinning of a lightsaber.

Just at the last second, Villeria turned and said, "Gyah!"

She then ducked as a lightsaber whizzed passed just over her head, though three clones were decapitated by the weapon.

She then followed the lightsaber and saw a male Zabrak catch it.

Despite the fact that she knew the Zabrak was obviously a force adept, Villeria rushed to engage him only for her to be thrown aside like a ragdoll. She then saw Marida try to shoot him and said, "Wait! Don't!"

Fortunately, when the blaster bolts were deflected, none hit Marida. Unfortunately, he caught her in a chokehold. Before the dark warrior could finish her off, however, Villeria threw one of her grenades and blew the man off his feet.

But when Villeria saw the man stand up with only three cuts on the right side of his face, she began to think, "How do we kill this guy."

As if sensing her thoughts, the Zabrak sneered and said, "Your pathetic toys will do little more than delay your deaths you rebel filth! Only a jedi could pose a threat to me!"

Villeria growled and said, "Well, I'm gonna prove otherwise!"

Villeria then threw a second grenade at him, only for him to catch it mid-air and throw it back, though she managed to dodge the explosive.

Villeria then shifted her tactics and began firing at him repeatedly until she was close enough to use her electrostaff.

She attempted to go for his head, but he ducked and said, "Very well... Let us test your swordplay!"

In a 100th of a second, Villeria's confidence began to waver as her opponent swung with a velocity she could barely keep up with. Her adversary then kicked her feet out from under her and was about to cut her down when a vibrosword intercepted her obviously superior opponent's blow.

If it wasn't for Braisa's timely arrival, Villeria figured her head and body would be miles apart! As Braisa continued to engage the Zabrak, Villeria got to her feet and reengaged her enemy.

As the Zabrak block Braisa's sideswipe, Villeria attempted to tase him from behind, only to find her strike block as well.

As the dark warrior kicked Villeria and Braisa back, Marida tried to shoot him with her rifle, only for the Zabrak to deflect one of her shots right to her left arm.

With Marida wounded, Villeria and Braisa attempted to swarm him, but he activated a switch that apparently made his weapon spin automatically and severely wounded Villeria in her left ribcage and delivered a weakening blow to Braisa's right leg.
