The nurse smiled a bit as she got Mika onto a changing Table as well''So whats your name ?'' The nurse asking trying to cut as much embarrassment as she can from this experience Mika might feel by chatting as she works
"That is the burden of ANY ninja of Konoha or any other village as long as they wear their headband, not just the children of leaders, they just have more visibility... But any one ninja's actions or words could become the difference between peace and war little one..." Kurama said, the boy still not understanding what the power of one person could be. The fox had seen first hand many times what just one person could accomplish and the effects it had on others. She grabbed the changing supplies out from her bag, raising up the boys shirt slightly and undid the hidden snaps in the boys pants, revealing his full padding. "Looks like someone is a big soggy stinker... who's momma's big stinker, who's momma's big stinker" She said as tickled the boy's tummy.
"M...Mika..." The girl replied as she laid back on the table, nervous to have another stranger changing her, especially due to how badly she was in need of a change.
Naruto's look on the explanation as well as snarky thoughts over the burden part was clear he seen that its just he never realized how much less freedom to express yourself you got when related to a leader . Still upon the babyish talk to him he started giggling a bit and then outright laughing at the tickling of his tummy glad the exam rooms have a natural silencing set up on them so its no big deal to be laughing this much'' Me I am'' Naruto managed to get out as he laughed. Really its nice to see Naruto so happy over such a simple thing even if this isn't really a average thing its not a bad thing really especially given Shinobi Naruto's age and even younger has been into some really bad things for joy and feeling good do to the Shinobi life . Plus this is more or less a healthy thing to take enjoyment from
Now as the snaps came undone and the tapes unfastened on the used diaper the nurse smiled a bit more'' Well Mika you're a pretty girl and don't let others tell you otherwise'' the nurse said encase Mika has a image problem still comes the wiping now
"Yesh you is, yesh you is...you're momma's big stinker." Kurama said as she tickled him a bit longer before finally stopping. The fox undid the tapes of the boy's diaper and slowly pulled it back. "You really did a number on this diapy sweety, I may have to use your nighttime diapers for daytime too" She grabs some wipes and lifts the boy up by his ankles, removing and tossing the dirty diaper into a medical trash bin before she goes about wiping up his groin and butt, making sure to get every part of him clean. Next came a fresh diaper and a booster that she lowered Naruto down on before powdering him and taping the new diaper up and redressing him. "There we go my widdle stinker allll clean" Kurama says before lifting the boy off the table and setting him back down on the floor.
Mika blushed at being called cute, but the compliment was night as she managed to get out a quiet... "...thank you..." She shivered a bit at the wipes, they always felt cold against her privates. The girl stayed still, trying to make it as easy as possible for the nurse to change her.
Naruto blinked ''Well I doubt the concealing justu would fully work then'' Naruto said on the matter on the diapers meant for nighttime in use during the day ' Albeit I suppose a slight waddle wouldn't be too bad I'd have a cute waddle for mommy even while out then ' Naruto thought rather clearly on that which might be interesting as Naruto doesn't much care if his secret is revealed on diapers and the possible humiliation so long as Kurama gets to see him waddle a bit . But that's a good thing as that means Naruto won't be thrown off while fighting from being made fun of for his diapered state even when panted or pants exposed granted a slight blush from such a thing happening would be likely as is human nature at this point to blush from getting any undergarment exposed no matter the type . Though for foes getting exposed to the fact who they are fighting is padded would in general throw those people off way longer then the momentary blush the one whos diapered state was revealed on . Granted hopefully Neji has enough pride not to use a dirty tactic to reveal to the varies villages Naruto is stuck in diapers during the match for Naruto's sake. After all using such tactics don't reflect bad on clans or villages but Narutos rep could be screwed for most villages over that detail even if Naruto wins .
Thankfully after the proper clean up the diapering was more swift but caring and Mika's shorts was put back up
Mika adjusted her clothing when she was taken off the table. "Thank you Yogohoken no Sensei" The girl said to the nurse before heading back out into the main office and taking a seat to wait for Naruto and Kushina.
Kurama smirked a bit, the boy should know better then that, so she decided to play along with him if that what he wanted. "Well my little one its either that or more changes, im sure no one would noticed but a mother who knows what to look for." The fox finished the change and set Naruto on the floor with a little teasing pat to his butt.
Of course it seems the girl from before had to be pouting setting outside'' Hello.'' Hanabi greeted in a bit of a greeting knowing she should be a bit more like the Hyugu speech matter with her father and Neji talking to Iruka as well as the principle and whoever the parents of who she had gentle fisted but she had taken Hinata's and Konohamaru's advise to speak more like her age when out and about as well as try to be friendly '' Are you here to watch the Chunin Exams or just a tourist?'' Hanabi asked trying to make a conversation.
Naruto blinked well if there is one thing he has ingrained to his behavior is the most effective and least wasteful when it comes to items that's one reason he had somehow talked Anko into letting him help clean up the Forest of Death he wanted to get his hands on what would likely be scrapped or melted down perfectly good Ninja tools and he wanted them for his use . '' Then the thicker ones more efficient less wasteful and cheaper'' Naruto of course meant that but had another motive in his thoughts of pretty much wanting to be as cute as he can out in public without it being obvious for Kurama and that should be easy to pick up even if the thought wasn't too clear as he had blushed a bit from the good natured teasing pat , though soon enough his thoughts moved onto how he supposed diapers that thick will be handy during fights if someone pulls that glorified ass violating Kakashi did to him during that test or if one of Kiba's clan Ninken decide to bite him in the ass again .
Mika saw the other girl, from outside, but aside from a nod to acknowledge her presence didn't say anything as she sat down. "Oh, hello...um neither actually...my mom is here on business... You're um...Hinata's sister right?"
"More efficient yes. Less wasteful a little, cheaper...maybe not..." Kurama just smiled slightly and shook her head lightly, the blond was taking everything so seriously. "Since when did my little one start analyzing things like Shikamaru? Now come on...Mika is probably waiting on us."
Hanabi giggled a bit its refreshing to not be treated like royalty for her bloodline especially seeing the only three that treat her like a regular girl is the academy's three goofballs and no one messes with them as one is the grandson of the Third Hokage '' Yeah that's my Nee-chan she is awesome and now has a cuteness factor after her Chunin Exam match end result even if I'm still mad at Nii-san '' Hanabi said and then her eyes narrowed at Mika a bit '' If you steal Nee-chans chance you will feel pain and pay the price.'' Hanabi warned in a icey manner before she went silent clearly Hanabi won't let a girl take Hinata's chance to be with Naruto if she can help it.
Naruto pouted '' Shika is cool even if he makes my head hurt at times and you know why I'm think on the long run mommy'' Naruto remarked alluring to he generally has been conscious about spending money and getting things at the best way thanks to his past .'' But that doesn't matter its cool lets go I hope Mika will like playing some festival games .''
Mika smiled a bit "From what I heard your sister is a good fighter and really put up a challenge in her match." The girl was a bit caught off guard by the sudden change in the girls body language. But after she spoke she understood the girls confusion, but at the same time she couldn't help but push back a bit, even as she explained herself. "You could try, doesn't mean it will be in your favor... But neither you nor your sister need to worry. I've already seen in her eyes how much she cares for Naruto, even if he is too much of a blockhead to notice it himself. Also him and Kushina-san is only mine and my ka-sans's protection detail while in the village...I have no interest in him like that..."
The fox smiled at the cute pout from the boy. "Nothing wrong with budgeting hon, but you cant lie to me...remember?" Kurama said as she opened up the door to the room and ushered Naruto out as the two saw Mika and Hanabi talking to each other in the main room.
''Is that a challenge ? ''Hanabi questioned on the matter of her warning as Mika seemed to brush her off normally Hanabi wouldn't mind but her desire to aid her elder sister and Mika seemingly not taking her serious in the warning has got to her in that matter. Add to that her clans pride and she is ready to fight in a way that she won't get in trouble '' I demand a spar not the academy type a real spar '' Hanabi wonders what Mika will do in this instance
Naruto blinked that seal connection on thoughts right 'damn it the seal thought link fuck' Naruto thought as he had both forgot that and the latter mind cursing he isn't sure if he can get punished for that but well he would surely get it if said out loud still hearing Hanabi talking his eyes widened ''What? Kurama gave Naruto a slight swat to the back of his head, showing she did indeed hear him curse he. She looked to the two girls as her and Naruto left the room, wondering what had gone on between the two, but knowing she had to put an end to it. "What do you think you are doing Mika...You're mother told you to be on your best behavior...that means no fighting..."
''I started it Kushina-sama don't get onto her for it '' Hanabi piped in she won't use Mika as a scapegoat ''And a spar isn't fighting unless you go too far at least according to father, Nee-Chan and Nii-san'' Hanabi added hoping she saved Mika from trouble on this matter as she may want to beat Mika in a spar she won't like someone needlessly be in trouble.
Naruto blinked again'' Girls are weird and strange '' Naruto had to say as Hanabi's demeanor shifted to address Kurama respectfully
Kurama looked from Mika to Hanabi, then back to her charge. "Well nothing happened so I supposed I can not mention this to your mother... But now with everything taken care of... its time to go.."
Mika remained silent as Kushina talked, not wanting to get herself in trouble, she was thankful for Hanabi speaking up. "Yes Kushina-sama, thank you..." She turned to Hanabi before they left. "Nice meeting you..."
''What was that about Mika-chan? '' Naruto asked bouncing Next to her wondering what Mika could have done to get Hanabi wanting to spar as Hanabi never has challenged other out of the blue before
'' Something tells my Hanabi is going to at least try chasing anyone away from our baby if there is a slight chance they'd steal Naruto's heart ''Kushina said to Kurama as well Kushina has a feeling that's what was going on
"Oh...it was just misunderstanding...its nothing..." Mika said as she walked back along with Naruto and Kushina, wondering what they were going to be doing next. The girl wondered a bit how long it would take Naruto to notice Hinata's feelings for him or if he would ever realize it before Hinata either gave up on him or smacked him over the head with them.
"I would agree on that one...the only question his how long will it take our little one to finally notice or is someone going to have to hit him with a sign." Kurama replied with a slight smirk as she walked behind the two. Even the fox was able to realize the feelings Hinata had for Naruto when they were still young before even the girl knew herself. She still remembered the day when those feelings probably started for the girl as well.
As they walked along one of the bigger tie-in matters to the Chunin Exams for any place hosting it both for the added revenue and so people have extra things to do that are visiting they are at one of the festival like sections of the village all set up and running perfect for the two younger members to have some fun.
''Oh about what? She never has been that adamant to spar with anyone other then Hinata-Chan and that my seen to be opponent granted those was purely nice spars she wanted then'' Naruto spoke clearly not getting Hanabi wants to help Hinata
'' My bets on some advent forcing Hinata to outright say it even if its during combat '' Kushina responded on the matter as well her and Minato had a similar thing go on do to the kidnapping of her and even their marriage was a similar case of asking for her hand in marriage during combat and in a way both had traits of Naruto and Hinata but not nearly as bad as those little ones
"It was nothing really...just stupid stuff..." Mika replied to Naruto not wanting to have to spill the reason behind it and tell him about Hinata, even if he probably wouldn't make the connection still. It was fortunate that the sounds and noises of the festival events caught the girls attention. "Ooooo hey... whats that..." She said as she headed over to a stall with a bunch of different trinkets and items from around the leaf village.
"Most likely...my bet is going to be either Sakura or Shikamaru beating it into his head..." Kurama replied to Kushina. She listened to the kids, wondering if Mika would actually be the one to try and get it into his head. The fox chuckled as she saw the girl get distracted by the vendors. "Now now, stay close sweetie."
Naruto followed along a bit more so worried about Mika then interested but then again Naruto has some interest in the matter as he never really could go to the festival advents without trouble happening to him for varies reasons . Despite this Naruto was more interested in the big DDR outside machine but too nervous to ask Mika to do so yet when he seen Sasuke doing what might as well be seen as cheating using that Bloodline , well Naruto went off towards that location as Naruto never liked cheaters in this manner. Sure if its something that would just be affecting you personally he wouldn't mind but Sasuke is doing something that effects others enjoyment and acting like its pure skill. This may turn out good or bad, chances are though given Naruto's fox like luck or some might call devils luck this will go good for Naruto so long as Sasuke doesn't have a chance in the Exams to take a petty revenge matter.
'' Ha I can see it now '' Kushina said with mirth in her tone at the ideal of a Nara doing that as lets face it she may not know the boy but well almost all Nara's that are born into the clan anyway tend to be lazy but extremely smart and she would like to see just how amusing a clash on trying Naruto to understand and see something would be from a Nara's attempt '' So Kurama what types of foods do you like the most ? Let me guess anything involving Rabbit and Fish? '' Kushina on the last question was a playful joke given Kurama is a giant Nine tailed fox after and it wasn't done with and spite just trying to be playful
Mika was absorbed looking at all that the one stand had to offer that she didn't see Saskue or Naruto heading off to do whatever idea had popped into his head. Her attention was currently on a set of what appeared to be hand carved deer figurines, most likely done by the Nara clan, along with some protection charms and spirit catchers. The girl was in love with all of the intricate details of the carving and detail work.
"I bet you can Kushina-san..." Kurama smirked a bit at Kushina as she kept an eye on Mika and another on Naruto who was now fixated on Saskue. The fox would have to keep a close eye, she really didn't need another incident between Mika and the Uchiha. Her little one could deal with the boy on her own, but Mika would surely throw herself into the mix to help the friend she found in Naruto. Kurama eye rolled a bit at Kushina's light attempt at humor. "I am more then a normal fox you know Kushina-san...that's stereotyping..." She said with a bit of a smirk. "Where I do enjoy most fish, with a partial love of salmon, and rabbit, I have always been more of a deer fan..more meat on them. I have to catch less of them then I would rabbits."
The stall owner honestly was fine with Naruto and Kushina yet when seeing Mika seems friends with Naruto he decided to try something '' Hey there, mind doing me a small favor? You can have those deer in repayment all I ask is you given that blonde friend of yours the carved fox, he tends to be too prideful just to take something as a gift'' the stall owner said nicely as its clear Naruto loves Fox's
Kushina snickered'' Nothing wrong with some politically incorrect humor if it's not meant as hurtful or racist, well in your case so long as its not speciest I suppose '' Kushina retorted though that's when she noted Naruto and face palmed '' How much you wanna bet this has to deal with the Uchiha cheating with his bloodline at these games?'' Kushina asked knowing how Naruto hates cheaters when its in terms of things that can easily affect others fun after all Naruto is more or less fine with cheaters if it's only something that would effect the cheater and no one else's enjoyment .
Naruto soon enough took stage on the DDR machine as it started and Naruto got serious as it went on wanting to be the one who knocks Sasuke's behavior down a few pegs without cheating
Mika looked up from the figures when she was addressed by the stall owner. "Yes..?" She made eye contact and listened to the guys proposal, a bit skeptical at first after what had happened with the sweet stall owner but she didn't get any feeling of malice or deceit from him. "..I guess..thank you very much.." The girl decided to accept the offer, figuring it would be OK, but she would tell Kushina-sama first. Mika happily took the figures and headed back over to Kushina.
"Of course not Kushina.. And Im not that stupid to take that bet..I swear those two are going to go at each other for all time... But I understand where his annoyance comes from." Kurama replied as she watched the boy wait in line for a free spot wondering exactly what the boys plan was. Though knowing her little one he probably didn't have a plan and was going into this blind.
Naruto watched how its played clearly and the screen also keeping a eye on both the songs and the difficulty to get a rough idea of the patterns, also to get a rough idea of how much stamina Sasuke has left . You see one thing must don't realize Naruto by be foolish and such but that was a combination of people at the academy and elsewhere screwing him over till Iruka came along meaning till then he had seen school as a waste . Which despite Irukia honestly helping him and teaching him old habits of skipping school when the teachers made any excuse to kick him from classes lead Naruto to find other ways to learn and that had lead to him paying attention to things like he is now . So once on stage, he got to it and sure he is going in blind he had got enough ideal of the machine and patterns of the songs as well as speed to hopefully win this. Which given Sasuke has been at it for awhile his chances have added up . Add to that a group had pooled together ideals as well as cash to give to anyone who can defeat Sasuke would be just icing on the cake
Mika headed back over to Kushina and tugged gently on her arm. "Um..Kushina-san..? I um got these figures from that vendor over there. He said I could have them if I gave this fox one to Naruto as a gift..."
The fox turned and looked down at Mika after she tugged on her arm. "Yes, sweety?" She listened to the girl before looking at the vendor she pointed to, seeing a familiar member of the Nara clan running the stall. The woman nodded in thanks to him before turning back to Mika. "Its ok sweety, he's OK... Though I think you are going to need to wait a moment on Naruto before you give him his gift, he's a little preoccupied."
As the dancing game was going the feeling of hate would likely be almost insane if Kurama can sense it as the Uchiha seen Naruto more and more was matching or surpassing the moves once gotten the rhythm and this is where things went downhill as once Naruto won well as to be expected Naruto ignored the way Sasuke was acting even when Sasuke was desiring to go for a kunai
Naruto for his part after just picking up a few things offered by the crowd for winning against Sasuke he darted back and held out some wolf plushies for Mika ''Hey thought you might like these.'' Naruto said in a way that is purely a friend trying to be nice to another friend. Despite this he doesn't realize this is a cliche age old way some dates go on carnivals or festivals with gifts like this
Kurama watched as her little one bumbled his way through the game and slowly getting himself in time with the rhythm as he went against Sasuke. The fox ear twitched slightly when she felt the anger and malicious intent from the Uchiha wondering if he was really stupid enough to try something. Lucky for him he decided against it as it would have not ended well for him at all. She smiled at her little one when he came back over with his spoils, even if she was a bit disappointed he took the spoils offered to him, but as always he didn't take them for himself. Kurama smirked and lightly chuckled as the blond offered the plushies to Mika, sending the girl into an instant blush.
Mika watched Naruto play the dancing game, glaring a bit at seeing the boy from before. She still didn't like the fact he had barely gotten in trouble for what had happened. However it did seem like Naruto was annoying him, so that was good. "Yea Naruto! You can do it!" The girl clapped when the boy won and was going to say something more when he came over and offered her the plushies. Her first reaction was gushing at the cuteness of the wolves but thinking that the boy may have meant more behind it sent her right into a blush as she looked down at the ground and slightly inched behind Kushina-sama.
Naruto cocked his head'' Are you sick Mika? We should head back if you are I don't want one of my friends out getting sicker.'' Naruto, of course, had to go all caring friend fretting mode by mistaking the blushing and warmness of Mika as the girl being sick not the fact Mika was taking the gift matter as a possible other meaning. Despite this he was now digging into his pouch'' I got something that can help that temperature before it gets higher you already are getting red '' Naruto added in a caring matter trying to find the fast acting fever medicine in his pack, he had been carrying about since he met Hinata as that girl had tended to blush then faint which had lead Naruto to believe Hinata has some health problem with temperatures and need that warmer clothing a lot despite easily getting too hot and fainting . when Naruto has always been wrong on that
Kurama let it go on for a little bit because she just couldn't help smiling at how adorable her little one was. However, as Mika inched closer and closer behind her, the fox finally stepped in and put a hand on Mika's shoulder. "Now now Naruto, I think Mika-chan is just fine. She just wasn't expecting you to practically drop a bunch of gifts on her."
The girl just kept blushing as she tried to hide behind Kushina-sama as Naruto doting over her was only making things worse. The girl knew he probably had no idea what it appeared he was doing, but still being treated like that put her into a really embarrassed state.
Naruto looked sheepish'' Oh ? But Hinata acts similar before she faints. '' Naruto said clearly confused why Mika would act the same and still be fine when Hinata generally faints after it starts. Naruto clearly doesn't get the workings of the female mind nor a body's response in ways like that'' So shouldn't we head back just in case?'' Naruto asked worried about Mika still
"Mika is not Hinata-chan little one. They are two very different young women. She is fine, now lets just enjoy the festival." Kurama replied to the boy trying to get his attention on the girl to lessen. "Also with you dumping your gifts on her, you haven't even given her a chance to let her say she has something for you too..." The fox said with a smile, hoping to change Naruto to the center of the conversation.
Mika was grateful for Kushina-sama's help in trying to calm Naruto down. The girl was focusing her hardest on trying to get herself back under control. She looked up a bit when Kushina-sama mentioned the gift and reached into her pocket to pull out the little figure. "Oh, that's right...here Naruto...this is for you..." The girl said as she handed the fox to Naruto.
''Eh? Girls are girls nothing that different between them besides personality and health with the every now and again bloodline in the mix, the same thing applies to boys more or less its just we're more hardheaded. '' Naruto said not really getting what Kurama was getting at in girls but Naruto has an interesting way of saying he sees no one as that different and as equal no matter what . Which thankfully Naruto isn't sounding perverted or sexist as he got what he meant across proper. Still Kurama did get more or less the goal accomplished. So when he got the gift he gave a bear hug to Mika as his eyes sparkled as Kurama would get why its only a very niche group Naruto has that has ever given him presents that he sees as friends or family '' Thank you Mika-chan its awesome '' Naruto said outright and now his mind was stuck thinking of how to add the proper details and what one of his plants would like it the post . Maybe the Foxglove flower that had been flourishing ever since Naruto learned how to add Charka to the plants? It'd be a neat little ironic funny pun in his thinking
''Kuruma does are little one hang around that unfunny and that unoriginal type of people to think that's a neat and fun thing or is that all Naruto?'' Kushina asked with a moan as she had picked up Naruto's thought its weird as the Blondes Father , Kushina's Husband may have been lame and unfunny most of the time but was never this bad
"You have much to learn still about girls sweety." Kurama said to Naruto and then smiled as she saw her little one's eyes light up upon seeing the fox figure. She followed behind the two as they walked around the festival.
"That is all our little one...I have no idea where he got this hobby from, but its something that he enjoys so I see no problem with it..."
Mika was a bit caught off guard by the bear hug, wetting herself a bit in the surprise, but hugs the boy back. "I'm glad you like it. Wolves are still better but I guess foxes are OK..."
Naruto shook his head '' Fox's will always be better, wolves are okay '' Naruto really seems determined on that matter despite that he started to think on some matters '' Hey what would you like to do Mika-Chan? '' Naruto asked wanting Mika to have fun as he wants Mika to have a fun time.
''Yes its fine , it just hard to understand why he traits amplified of his parents '' Kushina spoke on the matter ''Can your memories have influenced Naru-chans behavior '' it wasn't anger as accusation rather its just Kushina like most of the Uzumaki wanting to learn things and understand matters that is before them.
Mika pouted a bit at Naruto's comment, but knew better then to try and get into a back and forth with the blond as neither of them would give any ground to the other. "Ummm..." The girl looked around after Naruto's question at the different stalls and games that were set up at the festival. Her eyes eventually settled down on a balloon popping game where you get 3 kunai to pop the balloons with and depending on whats in the ones you pop you won a price. "Oooooo that looks like fun." She said as she headed over to the game and started rummaging through her back for some money to play.
Kurama followed after the two as they headed over to the game, she was pleased to see the two getting along. "I have no idea how he picked up some of these traits. He could have been influenced from my memories or it may have also had something to do with both of you sealing some of your chakra inside of him as well."
Naruto put Money down for Mika to have a few rounds and got himself a few rounds as well to play granted he never was a big fan of how these kinds of games always mess with the Kunia and Shuriken balance as well as sharpness but he assumes its more for safety of everyone and to give everyone a fairer chance, not to forget the stalls to make a decent enough profit . Though he has this sort odd planning most wouldn't see him for when he plans the tosses in these games. Mainly for the simple fact he may have fun at them but generally, he also wants to ensure he can get something for his friends as well.
Kushina blinked and suddenly had a headache '' Oh my well he inherited either Minato's intellect or inherited the Uzumaki intellect that I lacked '' True Kushina is smart enough but the thing is Uzumaki's normally was smarter than she was . Though what her comment was about is the fact she had been bombarded with thoughts of Naruto's planning on the most effective Kunia tosses for winning something for his friends while still having fun at the game. Its kinda amusing though Naruto generally is an idiot in alot of things but his planning skills can get to headache-inducing brilliance if Naruto lets it and really wants to do something
Kurama smiled and shook her head at she watched the little girl blush again when Naruto tried to pay for her round, he really had to learn to think more about how his actions can be viewed by others. The fox felt the flood of information from the blond but was able to ignore it for the most part, but she felt Kushina get caught off guard and a bit overwhelmed. "Yea, you need to watch out for that sensory overload through our bond, our little one can share more then he means to. Even I dont know how he picked that up. With how much of a goof he is one wouldnt expect him to think through some things the way he does. And other times he is a true goof. Like when he stabbed himself with a kunai..."
Mika froze and blushed a bit when Naruto put down the money for her, now she knew he was probably trying to be nice but she wasn't going to have any of that. She was not one of those girls that needed boys to take care of her and pay for stuff. However, she did still have her competitive side. "I dont think so Naruto, I got myself covered. Besides, you're gonna need that for yourself cause I'm gonna pop more balloons then you will." The girl said to him with a smirk as she picked up her first kunai. She luckily noticed the weight difference or else it would have messed up her throw, these were training kunai. The kunai went flying through the air and imbedded itself into the wood behind the balloon and at first looked like she had missed by just a hair. She lost her smirk for a brief moment until movement of the balloon caught on the edge and popped. "One nothing Me"
Kushina blinked at that last tidbit she was told and rushed through Kurama's memories banks on Naruto and she couldn't help herself laugh. Its not that she likes seeing her little one do self-harm even if it's not meant for a bad reason it's just so odd and not expected that it goes into amusing almost slap-stick territory,well that and she is a Shinobi who was involved in war so she takes humor wherever and however she can get it ''Oh , Oh that's rich ''Kushina got out between laughs which Kurama should realize this is just Kushina's Shinobi wartime mentality showing itself , as in getting amusement in whatever way she can as that's one tactic a lot of Shinobi in war tended to employ so as to keep themselves for the most part sane but still have mental problems crop up either in the war or after it.
Naruto pouted at his friendly gesture that he does for any of his friends no matter what gender they are had been seeming taken the wrong way '' Hey I was doing that because you're my friend not because you're a girl. Even I know its wrong to think girls need to be taken care of unless they are fanatic fan girls who don't put effort into what they do or they are honestly frail for some reason'' Naruto replied having taken Mika's aura shift as being offended for him paying for it by her viewing it as sexist or something when the paying was just being him wanting to be friendly . Still, he took the challenge '' You are on, let's make this interesting loser has to deal with helping at the Shinobi children daycare, while the winner gets the satisfaction of victory. '' Naruto stated as to him challenges are way more fun with a mostly harmless wager attached , Though he brought up the daycare for Shinobi children as those specific youths are the hardest to handle . Despite this he started showing what Anko had quickly dubbed 'fox luck' for ironic factor when everyone else calls it 'the devil's luck' for that's what it truly is called because Naruto can have good luck for awhile but then something bad happens to equal the good luck so far happens . After all so far he is whining
Kurama smiled a bit at Kushina's initial reaction to her comment, before full on laughing when she found the memory. The blond was so serious as he stabbed himself to get rid of the poison and then after Sakura's comment starts freaking out about bleeding out. It really was a priceless moment.
"You're on Naruto, I'm gonna beat you..." Mika said as she smirked getting a two for one with her next throw. However, she did start getting a little frustrated as Naruto had some crazy good shots that had to be just pure luck and now had him ahead of her by 3 balloons and both were almost out of kunai to throw. She was down to her last two, she had to make these count and hope Naruto's luck ran out.
And that's when it happened Naruto tensed right when he sensed someone scared and then seeing someone running seemingly for their life . This might as well be the case as the person had Tora the demon cat as everyone called that cat of the fire nations wife. Hell its the very cat that Kushina chased as a child during the Academy as what is Genin missions now was hands on lessons back in Kushina's time. Regardless who is running has Garra after them with killer intent leveled at the Cat '' Bring that cat back here it used my sand as a litter box, its dead'' Its easy to tell Garra is angered at the cat badly .
Still Naruto was now conflicted as he had been torn up by that cat so much because Sakura wouldn't handle it and Sasuke well that teammate always tricked him into handling the cat. But he is worried about the person with the cat. So he darted off then and their to help.
''Yes Kill Tora the demon cat sand kid'' Kushina had cheered in Kuramas head as well Kurama had a similar problem with that cat and she has a biased against it
Kurama froze when the cat and its owner went by, she felt the malice as the sand ninja ran by...Shukaku... The fox could care less about the cat, but the damage that Shukaku could cause in the village was an issue. "Mika, come, but stay behind me no matter what!" The kunoichi ran after her son and the sand ninja, making sure the young girl followed. The woman reached out through their bond to Naruto, using it to slow him down slightly so she could catch up faster. "Naruto NO!. Its not safe... keep an eye on Mika..." Kurama said to Naruto as she moved on past him and after Gaara.
Mika threw a kunai and got a double hit, putting her almost tied with Naruto and then watched him miss his last kunai. If she could hit one more balloon she could at least tie the game. "Looks like youre not..." The girl stopped mid sentence as she heard the commotion and then saw Naruto take off, followed by Kushina-sama. The girl felt the worry and command in the adult's voice, dropping her last kunai and following after the two, wondering exactly what was going on.
Naruto slowed a bit '' I can take him '' Naruto commented back in a backtalk way through the link as he felt a need to ensure the owner was safe as the cat could suffer or worse after some of the rather unpleasant attacks that cat tended to aim at his groin or seem to at least . But still he obeyed getting to Mika for now
Garra meanwhile his smile split when his sand was closing in on the cat trying to avoid the human from having no desire yet to kill the people with the cat, its just the cat for now he wants dead for using his Sand he had been washing prior to get useless junk from it and left to dry had came back to the cat using the sand life a litter box. Which to top it off that smug look and paw cleaning while looking in Garra's face was clear the cat did it to get on his nerves
Kurama quickened up the pace, starting to close the gap between her and the sand ninja. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu..." Three clones formed next to her as one headed off to find the Hokage and let him know of the situation, the other to find the sand ninja's jonin caretaker as the third just disappeared. She had to figure out something to draw his attention away from the cat. An idea popped into her head but she wasn't sure how she felt doing it during something as important as the chunin exams, but it was the only thing the fox was sure would get his attention.
When they had moved into a more desolate part of the village, the third clone was able to get the woman and the cat safely away and by taking a side path was able to get in front of Gaara. "Didn't think I would be seeing you here...Shukaku...and so far from home..." The fox said, knowing that saying his name directly would grab both of their attention, but she also let some of her chakra leak out..
Oh boy did that name cause Garra at first to broke from his desire to kill the cat with extreme prejudice though upon Shukake seeing Kurama and then the Charka look Garra held his head as his eyes went to looking like the Shukaku's a minor possession when Garra hasn't had a chance to sep or at the very least use a specific justu to give Shukaku control so his mind could rest '' Sister. Care to join me? Together we can kill all the cats every last one of them filthy vile things using Sand as there bathroom when its all an extension of my body '' Shukaku said clearly right now focused on cat genocide . Which in a way to most anyone would find funny and pathetic if not for the fact Shukaku is nuts but has clearly made strides in sanity '' And don't you Dare be calling me weak I'll have you know I have been converting stones to sand in the area'' Shukaku isn't going to spill the plan the Sand Shinobi's have but he has a need to justify his presence and strength here when Kurama addressed him.
Meanwhile, Temari blanched and looked at the clone ''Take me to my baby brother now '' Temari knew she shouldn't order a higher ranking Shinobi let alone one of another village she is a guest in but she and their sensei are about the only two in the Leaf she knows of who can get Garra under control .
The Third who was smoking something that Kurama should given her age notice is tobacco with just a hint of Marijana not enough for any kind of buzz but rather just enough for medical usage to help with varies symptoms of his old age and injuries in the field'' What has gotten you so worried my dear?'' The Third asked in a grandfatherly way to Kushina as in his false set of memories from the justu cast he was like a grandfather to Kushina
Kurama couldn't help herself from bursting out laughing when she heard what finally heard what had pissed her sibling off so much. "The cat did wha...the cat...y...your sand..." The fox knew laughing at her unstable sibling was probably not the best idea but this was priceless. She did however not let herself get so distracted as missing the comment from Shukaku. That was a lot of sand he had created now, and could be used for a massive attack, was he planning on using it to win the exams..
"Follow me..." Kurama's clone replied before she headed off with the Sand Ninja's sibling. It bothered her a bit that she couldn't find their Sensei, but right now someone was better then nothing.
"Hokage-sama...the entrant from Suna, Gaara, was seen chasing down the cat Tora and her owner through the streets in a blind rage...!" The fox said worried about what might happen.
Suddenly Kurama's mouth was covered in a vice-like grip of sand ''Never laugh at me again sister unless you want your secret out about the boy let out'' Shukaku isn't happy about being laughed at as the sound Garra has even the guard and around Garras body is bits of Shukaku's own body and it was used as a litter box by a damn cat . So he hates someone laughing about it. Even willing to use the secret he noticed as blackmail granted most people want see it as just a insane Tailed Beast claim or something but a few would look into it
And Temari is in the dark mostly what the plan is on the Sands attack as if she knew the whole thing she'd have convinced her baby brother to do something else,but as is she was following'' Your son is the nine tails host right? Please if Garra gets out of control try to just have him captured'' Temari practically was begging in a manner a mother would who understands they can't do anything for their child but someone else can.
The Hokage after dousing his pipe got up and slipped on some battle armor . Not that he'll need it but given the evaluations of Garra's mental Health he'd rather be safe then sorry '' Please lead the way ''
Kurama regained her composure and glared at Gaara and her sibling, the sand exploding away from her mouth as her chakra forced it away. "I will do as I please, but if you try something again, I promise...even father wouldn't be able to bring you back..." The fox said as she let more of her chakra slip out, ignoring the threat from. For the time being she still had her siblings attention but she was going to be prepared if things started to go south.
Kurama's clones felt the release of her chakra knowing that something had to have gotten her pissed off. But the issue was trying to keep her malice in check. At the moment a few people would already be able to sense the growing chakra, but if she let too much slip out they might think Kushina was losing control of her seal.
"Yes, my son harbors a part of the nine tails, with me holding the other." The fox's clone looked back at Temari as they headed towards the two, she was a bit surprised at the request from the girl. Sure they were siblings and she would have expected her to care about Gaara but this seemed more then that. "I can make no promises, the call is not mine to make. All I can say is I wont let him go out of control in my village..."
Kurama nodded and headed out with the Hokage, now followed by a team of four ANBU.
''Cats are vile, they all must die Well our Sister can live she isn't bad, rather its these little monsters that needs death not her!'' Shukaku protested at the threat of the matter'' The woman was safe enough at worst she'd be horrified at the cats gory death'' Shukaku stated in his way of mental scaring mortals are fine view.
''Oh Sorry I didn't know you held the other half'' Temari said sheepishly as they was headed there and winced on the matter when she sensed the charka'' Garra is my baby brother but I'm more like his mother then sibling so I'm sure you understand my dilemma to a degree'' Temari admitted to Kurama over this as Kurama is acting like Kushina is around so it'd make sense to confide in a mother of a tailed beast host when you are a acting mother of one yourself.
As they headed there it was clear something is up '' Even if must knock the child out do to diplomatic and political reasons he can't be kicked from the Exams as its not his fault you are aware '' The Third told the clone
Kurama shook her head, her sibling had really taken his insanity to a whole nother level. However, she could sense his power growing the longer Gaara was left in this state. He was trying to delay her so he could catch her off guard, he wasn't a total write off. "Sorry brother but your going to have to let your host wake up now, I cant have you harming anyone...even if it is that cat..." The fox let out a smirk. "I've picked up some new tricks over the years dear sibling...this one is quite handy... Adamantine Sealing Chains!" The fox drew on Kushina's chakra as a single chain shot out of her chest and directly through Gaara and into his mind scape pinning Shukaku against his sealing bond, and giving control back to Gaara. "its over..."
"Yondaime Hokage didn't want to risk Naruto's life by trying to seal the entire beast in him..." Kurama replied, not wanting to give the whole story. She felt a bit sorry for the girl, any time a sibling has to take on the role of a parent it puts much stress on everyone.
"It will be done...and I understand it is not his fault, but he is still a danger in the village..." Kurama replied to The third. She felt the presence of her chakra recede and wondered what had happened... "..It may already be done..."
Garra blinked at Kurama '' What just happened ?'' Garra questioned in a manner that shown despite Naruto having just a fuzzy remembrance of the Haku situation Naruto's seal was better even in that aspect to give insight on what happened outside of your control when you lost it '' And your hair is lovely almost like mothers mainlines bloodlines color '' Garra remarked true he's still insane but he has moments like this when he has sometime where he reverts to a state similar to before he went mental
''Of course Garra's life was only spared as it was done when Mamma-err I mean mother was in the throws of labor and health failing from complications anyway so she was used to allow the full Biju in Garra '' Temari said clearly not after pity but rather having not had anyone who could remotely relate she latched onto the chance for once to talk about it .
''Of course ,Of course dear '' The Third remarked in a wat of saying he understood the danger matter'' As much as I hate to admit it I only allowed him in , in part for having a host strong enough to take in Garra if the worst happened granted I also wanted him to have some semblance of a normal advent '' The Third remarked as they landed and he heard Garra's remark
"Your biju decided it wanted to kill a cat..." Kurama said to the boy. She was a bit caught off guard by his statement, for a moment he almost seemed normal...
"Having a biju from birth is not an easy path to follow...the strain is immense to everyone..." Kurama replied to the girl, ignoring her slip up as the two reached the others and the clone released.
The fox shook her head at the third, he was compassionate to a fault...no matter the trouble it may cause. However, it was also that compassion that he showed to her little one. "We are lucky it didn't go farther..." The woman said before this clone disappeared as well.
Kurama looked at Gaara, the Hokage, and then Temari. The woman was a bit annoyed that her clone was not able to find Gaara's sensei...where could he have been at a time like this... The fox then looked past the group to see Naruto and Mika showing up as well. "Did you watch over our guest Naruto?"
''Baki-Sensei had business to attend to and wasn't happy about it either'' Temari told the original Kurama as she darted to Garra next and started checking him like a mother would for harm till Garra's sound shot up in a protective manner for Temari and his eyes clouded back to insanity Its odd in a way to think on that how someone possibly off in the head is protective of someone this way. Then again Garra had Temari as a parent so it also makes sense
''As best as I could '' Naruto said looking at the sand on the grant and then Kurama '' What happened?''
Kurama watched the two siblings for a bit before walking over to Naruto and Mika, putting a smile on her face. "Well I think that's enough extra excitement for the day...And lets keep this just between us... I don't think your mother needs to worry about something like this Mika."
Mika had been following after Naruto, she had no idea what was going on or what had just happened. Naruto wouldn't tell her anything as they headed after Kushina-sama, but she could still tell something bad had almost happened. "So um...back to the fun then?"
Naruto shrugged '' Um so what do you want o do Mika?'' Naruto asked having not really been able to engage in fun with kids his age that much he really hasn't much to suggest and is up for most anything if Mika likes it even if he might dislike it or ends up not liking it at all he'd at least know if he likes something or not then from trying it . He's even open to try girly things mostly because he has seen and heard about boys liking girl stuff before like that one series that's not from the hidden continents that's a hit with a lot of male and female Shinobi all because it depicts a world at more or less peace most of the time and that for a lot of Shinobi is quite appealing to no longer have a cycle of hatred and bloodshed as well as no true violence going on
Mika thought about it for a moment before finally having an idea come to mind. "Um well when me and my mom were looking for stuff that we could do in town, I did read about a tea house that was supposed to be really good..." The girl blushed slightly. She had always had a love for tea, though a lot of kids back home would make fun of her for having tea parties, calling them childish. But the girl enjoyed them and actually knew the history behind the tea ceremony and sometimes pretended her plushies were important people she was serving.
Kurama smiled at the girls cute blush, but was a bit caught off guard by the girl wanting to go to a tea shop. However the fox had a good idea which one she was talking about, it was a very nice and relaxing place to have some tea and simple snacks.
Naruto blinked '' You mean like those places with the tea ceremonies that Jiji tried to drill into me how to behave at them ? They are kinda nice even if it can get a bit stuffy and boring . But maybe I sorta like them because Jiji introduced me to them'' Naruto remarked showing he isn't sure why he likes them but he can reason things out.
'' Oh that's adorable little Naru-chan likes it sorta but still likes them '' Kushina said in motherly fashion to Kurama as she watched the kids interact and talk '' When was the last time you had any decent tea anyone without being allowed to through a link?'' Kushina asked Kurama interested in the matter
Mika looked down a little bit at Naruto calling them stuffy and boring... it was just a nicer way of saying stuff the kids back home said. But she did perk up a bit after the boy switched his tone. "Yea, some can do the ceremony if you want...but if you just want some really nice tea the right place can be hard to find from the tourist trap..."
Kurama smiled "I think I know exactly where you're thinking of sweety..." The fox guided the two kids off in a direction and away they went. "Not a response I would have expected from him...he wouldn't stop complaining about those lessons... I haven't had a decent tea on my own in centuries...I tended to spend a lot of time in the Land of Tea, many of the stalls were very nice to a stray fox that would keep mice away."
''Oh good Ceremonies are just not me even if the tea is good and food is Ceremonies just aren't something I can get into. I get some people like them,so sorry if I offended you. Still willing to go to one if you want that ceremony thing'' Its ironic that Naruto wants to be a Kage but ceremonial matters he can't stand , despite that he doesn't want to be rude nor does he want to hurt Mikas feelings and will gladly go to one for the girl to enjoy as he hardly has any friends as is .
''Well you may not know this but I was the same as a girl in that regard before you came along '' Kushina remarked as she chuckled abit'' You not taking what you want? was that before you had went bitter for so long ?'' Despite the question Kushina had accidentally projected a image of a cute chibi Kurama catching mice at tea houses and being fawned over by kids and females . After all both her and Minato had plenty of childish tendencies
"I just want some good tea..." Mika replied as she walked along with Naruto and Kushina-sama down the streets. However what Naruto had said only succeeded in confusing the girl. He hated ceremonies, but liked them, but they were boring and yet this boy wanted to be Hokage one day. The girl could tell, a lot of books would be getting thrown out the window with how Naruto grew up.
Kurama chuckled at the boy, he wanted to be Hokage but hated all the formal procedures that would go with it...if he became Hokage the elders would probably have a heart attack trying to keep things under control. "Hey.. I... I was very young at the time. Things were different in the world then..." The image popped into her head from Kushina and caused the fox to blush. "Ah ah NOPE! NO NO, Nuh uh..."
Not like Naruto ever would make sense to anyone not even his own dark side will be able to understand him fully on how odd Naruto is, not that anyone will know for a long time on that fact.''Awesome so whats your preferred tea?'' Naruto asked switching topics slightly
''Oh come on you had to be adorable, Oh so adorable that kids and woman of all ages would fawn over you '' Kushina had to insist both because its amusing her how Kurama reacted to that accidental image look and how she seriously believes Kurama was an adorable fluff ball at one point
Mika was silent for a bit as she didnt have an immediate answer for that one. "Hmmmm well I like black dragon pearls, but tie guan yin is good too. Ooo ooo no golden monkey. No wait... Genmachai, wait Sencha..., No Gyokuro..." The girl went a bit crazy trying to narrow down her favorite tea...but new ones just kept popping into her head and she went back to a few and repeated.
"Nope, nuh uh... absolutely not..." The fox replied still being stuborn on the topic, even though Kushina was kinda on the right track, she did not want to back down. Even if a few memories slipped through of a younger Kurama laying on a tatami mat outside a tea cafe, curled up, and lapping at a small bowl of hot tea the owner had given her.
Naruto Blinked '' Um whats the big difference in teas ?'' Naruto asked now trying to be nice knowing hes a talkative person himself so he won't ask Mika to be quiet unless needed for some reason. But to him most tea taste the same, while coffee tastes vastly different on each kind , thats why he asked
''Hum admit it or at least tell me whats your problem in admitting something so harmless, then I'll drop it ''Kushina finally bargained as she copied that memory for future gloating purposes on Kurama plus it'd make some nice mental wallpaper in the place Kushina is building in this mind scape she is stuck in
Mika's eyes went a little wide at the question from the blond. "Well there are a few main classes of tea... white, green, herbal, oolong and black. black teas tend to be the more caffeinated, white teas tend to have the least and be naturally sweet, green tea is kind of a middle range tea with flavor undertones and accents that can really change the taste of the tea, oolongs are stuck between the black and green teas and have a floral or fruity taste, and herbals are teas mixed with spices, herbs, or other plant materials to create its flavor." The girl replied and ranted for a bit going over the different types and talking a bit more in-depth about some of her more favorite teas. Not really paying too much attention if Naruto was keeping up and following everything she said but a bit more lost in her enthusiasm of talking about tea.
Kurama pouted a bit at Kushina, embarrassed slightly, she was one of the few hosts that were able to pull a few things over on her. Even though she was one of the few hosts that actually talked to her...it was still something. "I am not adorable...I am a fearsome beast and a force of nature to be feared by all..." The fox replied to the woman, trying to be intimidating but knowing she had lost this battle.
Naruto blinked clearly blushing a bit but still he followed along the best his mind allowed '' I guess I now know how others feel about me on Ramen speeches '' Naruto admitted not being rude just honest as they soon made it to the tea house and cocked his head'' So anything sweet is good to me''

Mika finished her ramblings on tea and started to blush and look at the ground from Naruto's comment. Talking about tea was one of the few things the girl could go on and on about and get lost talking on the subject, not realizing others might not be as enthralled as her. "...Well um... I'm sure they will have something for you Naruto-kun.." The girl replied as they entered the tea house.
The jab Kushina made at the fox made her blush and did get a small smile on the fox's face. "Call it pride, call it ego, call it insecurity, call it protecting my legend...its something I don't have an answer to if I'm being honest with you..." Kurama didn't have words at first for the final comment from the woman, but her mouth let something slip before the fox could think. "...just because I can doesn't mean I want to" Kurama followed the children into the tea shop as they waited for someone to greet them. She would have tried to correct her slip but the host came by before she could say more.. "A private room for three please..." The fox asked with a smile as the host lead them to a room in the back with a secluded view of the creek behind the tea house.
