News that Finn had woken up spread through the college campus like a tsunami, and soon enough, he had visitors on a daily basis. He was fed rumors about what had happened: Hux had hit and run, Hux was a witch, Hux was dead, Hux had skipped town, Hux had really killed Professor Paige Tico, Hux was a vampire, Hux was murdered himself. Finn had to stop himself from correcting the stories. He knew the truth, and he wasn't sure how much his visitors knew. That was alright; he was just pleased to have visitors.

His favorite visitors were the ones from home, Maz and Ben and Rose and Rey. Finn was still kept under observation as his back continued to heal, so every few days, Maz would come toting a bag with a different ancient board game. This Sunday evening was Parcheesi, and he was fascinated with Rey being able to become solid enough to roll her own dice.

"Was I able to do that when I wandered?" Finn asked, looking to Ben.

He shook his head. "No, you walked straight through things."

Rey jumped in. "You still remembered where the furniture was, so you walked around desks and chairs and cabinets, but you didn't eat anything, and sometimes you would miss a chair that had moved, like in the kitchen."

"Why didn't anyone tell me that I was in a coma?"

The others shared looks as the turns progressed around the board.

"I didn't realize you weren't like me," Rey offered.

"I couldn't see you," Rose explained, taking the dice.

"It would have been unnecessary. You would have been distraught." Maz patted Finn's hand. "And you were going to be okay." She tapped her glasses. "I saw that you would be."

Finn raised an eyebrow at her then blinked as a thought crossed his mind. "Han. Who's Han?" He looked between everyone. "He was hanging around Maz's. Some trucker?"

Ben nodded. "My father."

Finn looked Ben up and down. "Now I see it. He's...dead?"

Ben nodded again. "Yes he is."

"He's why you're immortal, isn't he, Ben?" Maz asked.

Ben flashed his eyes to Maz.

"Immortal?" Finn questioned.

"He gave his soul for me, yes."

Rey looked to Ben, wondering if he was going to share that he had killed Han.

Ben was not going to say anything more about that, and his look to Rey solidified his silence.

Finn nodded. "He was friendly. Talked about his time on the road. Called me Big Shot."

Ben laughed. "He likes you."

"He's not here now, is he?"

"No, the only spirit hanging around here is me." Rey rolled the dice.

"You mentioned a Kenobi?"

"He was a friend of my grandparents. He watched over you here while we were busy with Hux and Paige."

"What about Paige Tico? I never saw her anywhere."

"I keep her medallion at home, mainly. She's still upset about things, and we usually just spend time together in the evenings." Rose shifted in her seat. "We don't know how long we have together, but we're trying to enjoy it."

Finn reached out for her hand. Rose gave a squeeze in return.

Ben gazed out the window of his office at the brown lawns and leafless trees. The beauty of autumn was long gone now that the leaves had fallen. It was getting closer and closer to Thanksgiving break, and he was no closer to figuring out what to do with Rey or Paige or the reopened investigation into Hux. He had taken over the rest of Hux's classes, now lecturing in a gymnasium that was free for the time periods. Holdo had made sure that he had a TA helping him with the grading and the extra workload.

A knock came from his door, and Molly squeaked the door open. "Hi, Mas- uh, Professor Solo. Can I speak with you?"

He nodded and waved her in. "Certainly. Take a seat."

She obeyed and fidgeted in her seat. "So, um, I'm not really sure what happened, or why I went off the deep-end and joined the whole Knights of Ren cult thing. Like, I'm happy Professor Hux is gone, and so is everyone else, but I'm also worried that something is going to happen and someone is going to find out and I'm gonna go to jail or something. I mean, others are worried, too, but like, a lot of us too are kinda worried that it didn't actually happen and that we just got into some bad drugs or something like that." She showed him her palm, perfect and unscarred. "And like I remember making some sort of promise to a demon or something, but like also, I don't feel compelled to do anything, and I don't have a scar or anything." She pulled her hand back and fiddled with a hole in the knees of her jeans. "Professor Solo, I don't really know what I'm here for, I'm just worried about like everything."

He was quiet, and he could see her anxiety working in her. "Molly, I want to thank you for everything and your friends helped me with. It did happen, but you, and all of your cohorts, have been absolved of everything, if things are kept quiet. I have ensured that any promises made with the demon Snoke were dissolved." He stood, walked around his desk, and leaned against the corner. "The Knights of Ren have been dissolved, as well. They don't exist anymore. I will deny any knowledge of the Knights. Spread that around, that the Knights of Ren don't exist anymore. We don't need this getting blown out of proportion."

Molly nodded.

"Thank you again, Molly. I appreciate your discretion. You have been a good student on top of this." He chuckled. "Don't worry, you'll be fine, as long as you don't make any more deals with demons."

Molly laughed at that. "Alright, Professor. I won't."

Ben smiled, and in the next moment, Ben Kenobi was standing behind her, setting two fingers against her temple.

As Ben watched his ghostly mentor bless the girl, his thoughts wondered if Kenobi was just a ghost, or something more. Whether or not Ben Kenobi was more than a ghost, he had magic of his own, and Molly's shoulders relaxed, and the tension left her face, and she gave a sincere sigh of relief.

"I really do feel better, ProSo," she admitted. "Thank you for speaking with me."

"It's not a problem, Molly. Thank you."

She stood, and he held out his hand to her. She shook his hand and gave a final nod. "See you in class."

"Finish your essay soon. I'd rather not have to grade anything over the weekend."

She smiled, nodded, and left.

"Thank you for keeping an eye out for them," Ben said to Kenobi. "I've caused far too much trouble."

"It's alright, my boy. Your grandfather was just the same."
