"When you said we could do something together I was thinking of something more romantic. Not helping you pack, Zach." I muttered as I folded a white shirt. Still holding it in my arms I turned to see him giving me a small smile. "I don't see what's so funny."

"Audrey, I wasn't trying to be. Besides once I...we finish packing we can get ready for that moonlit run you suggested." Zach answered and I nodded, a tiny smile curling my lips before I walked over to the suitcase Zach had placed on the bed.

"Alright I suppose I can forgive you." I sighed and he blinked, both eyes widening slightly after I placed the shirt carefully into his suitcase. "For convincing me to help you pack, Zach. Now hurry up and fold those clothes."

"Audrey, you haven't even started on your packing." Zach replied and I just shrugged, reaching for a pair of jeans. "Did you even bring anything?"

"Just a change of clothes, Zach. I did kind of leave my house in a hurry after the incident." I replied, holding the jeans against my chest. Once he saw my eyes on the floor Zach moved to my side, gently taking the jeans from me before he wrapped his arm around my shoulders.

"Sorry, Audrey. I wasn't thinking about that." Zach sighed and I nodded as he gave me a one-armed squeeze. "Would you like me to get your bag from your hotel room?"

"Yeah that would be great. I just keep thinking about how close that monster came to tearing me apart. If it wasn't for that tree branch I wouldn't be here with you." I explained, setting my sights on helping Zach pack. "I'll finish up here while you're gone."

"If you're sure, Audrey." Zach asked and I nodded, turning my attention back to his clothing and as I carefully folded it he left the room. As soon as he left I let out a sigh staring at the jeans in my hand.

"Well I guess folding clothes isn't that bad. I hope Zach doesn't mind going for a walk afterwards. I could use a little fresh air even if it's hot outside." I muttered to myself unaware that Zach was still standing outside the door, his mind going back to the moment we first met.

"I hope Audrey isn't too mad at having to help me pack. I'll make it up to her with that run in the woods she suggested. Wonder if she'll stay human or wolf?" He muttered, pushing himself away from the door before he made his way towards my bedroom. It didn't take too long for the agent to pack my bag and he frowned, realizing that I wasn't joking about having barely any clothes.

When I heard a light knock at the door I set down the shirt I'd just folded, leaving it on top of the bed before I crossed the room. Once I pulled open the door I found Zach with a slight smile on his lips and my backpack clutched in his arms.

"Yeah I wasn't lying when I mentioned my clothes." I told him, taking the backpack and as I headed back over to the bed Zach entered the room. Gently he closed the door behind him and I turned my head slightly, noting how he was staring at me silent. "It's not a big deal, Zach. I can always shop for more clothes...or maybe not." I added in a small voice, remembering that while I had brought my wallet along I hadn't drawn out a lot of my cash.

"Don't worry about clothing, Audrey. I can get whatever you need." Zach offered, blinking when he saw my eyes shining with tears. "Hey I didn't mean to upset you." He stammered, hurrying over as I quickly set my bag down. When he wrapped his arms around my waist I turned around burying my face in his chest.

"I...I just rushed away from my hometown without thinking." I sniffed, grateful when he stroked my hair. "I know that's a really dumb thing to do but..."

"Audrey, you don't need to apologize. You had just been attacked by a monster and you weren't thinking about anything but running. I don't blame you for being scared but you're not like that creature that attacked you." Zach explained, stroking my cheek when I lifted my head with a sniff. "You are better than that. I mean you saved mine and York's life in Greenvale before you even knew us."

"I guess you're right. I didn't know what that was in the red coat but it didn't smell right to me. I couldn't just sit back and let you get killed...or York." I told him and he chuckled, kissing the top of my head as I settled against his chest. "I'm very glad I got to know you and York." I admitted and he smiled.

"We should probably think about going clothes shopping for you, Audrey." Zach offered and I nodded, content in his arms until he finally cleared his throat. "While I am enjoying being this close to you we should get ready."

"Get ready for what, Zach?" I asked and he smiled at me, brushing a quick kiss against my lips and I felt myself melt. "Oh...right. Gotta finish packing huh?" I muttered with a sigh and he snorted barely able to hold back his laughter at how wide my smile was and the faint pink of my cheeks as I headed back to my bag.
