The room turned as one its attention to her.

Yang found her voice first. "Blake? You're alive? What's going on?"

Blake's voice was hoarse with tension. "Stay away from her!"

"Blake what's wrong?"

"Blake! That's Emerald! Don't shoot her!"

"Wait, is this about the people who kidnapped you? Emerald has nothing to do with that. She told us her story."

Blake looked at Yang incredulously.

Pyrrha replied next, "Yes, Blake. Ozpin also confirmed this."

Blake grit her teeth and trained Gambol Shroud at the girl she knew was an assassin who had somehow successfully infiltrated her friends.

"She's tricking you! You don't understand, she was with them when they kidnapped me! She tricked Sun into not noticing anything! Don't you understand, she's lying to you!"

Yang's face looked pained. "Blake, I know what you went through was really traumatic, I get it. I was like that when Summer died. You have to calm down. Trust me."

"NO!" Blake was hyperventilating. Why didn't they just trust her? "You don't get it. Ask her about her Semblance!"

"Blake, stop. You're scaring me. Emerald's nice. Her Semblance is sound. She can use it to talk to anybody she wants to privately." Ruby begged.
Blake snapped. She pressed Gambol Shroud to the imposter's head. "Tell them about your Semblance. Or I swear to God I will put a bullet through your head right now!"

Blake wasn't expecting the girl to smile viciously. "My Semblance is illusions. Illusions so real I can make people believe they're dying, and they'll die."

Blake's eyes shook wildly. Was this all an illusion from the start? She looked at her friends, who were now just staring at her blankly. Was she actually in a room full of enemies?

Blake's breath came in spurts. Her heart threatened to explode out of her chest. The walls felt like they are closing in. She imagined hands grabbing for her.

She had to get out of here. She leaped for the window. But something held her back, lots and lots of arms.
Blake screamed. No! Not like this! She reached into herself and did something she'd never done before. She pulled, and pulled, and put everything she had into her Semblance. Something gave. Her Semblance came out in a deluge, and she descended into darkness.

XXXXXXXXXX

Yang had felt many things when she saw Blake come in through the door. Surprise, worry, happiness, and concern at what she wearing in that ratty old cloak.

That had turned into 100 percent concern when her partner had started screaming for no reason and then raised a gun at her, threatening to shoot her in the head.
"Yang!"

"Blake what you doing! That's your partner!"

"Blake you're scaring me. Stop, please. We can talk about this."

Yang grinned a confidence she didn't feel. "Don't worry guys, I got this. C'mon Blake, you mad about something? We can talk this out. Hit me, don't worry, I can take it. I always thought you had some repressed feeling. Scary ex? I get it. Let it all out. C'mon."

"You don't get it! Ask her about her Semblance!"

Yang frowned. Something wasn't right here.

"Tell them about your Semblance or I swear to God I will put a bullet through your head right now!"

"Alright, alright. Don't shoot. My Semblance is Energy Redirection. I can take hits and turn that into power I can use. Happy, kitten?"

Something was wrong. Blake wasn't hearing her. She was in her own little hallucination, a nightmare by the sounds of it.

Suddenly she started shaking and put down her gun. Yang embraced her in a hug.

"There, there. I don't know what's going on, but you're safe now. Don't worry-"
Suddenly Blake tried to break off towards the window. Yang held her back, barely. In her current mental state, Yang didn't know if she would hurt herself. It would be best if she stayed here, and they could get Tsune to check up on her. At least until she came back to her senses.

Yang wasn't prepared for Blake to scream. It was shrill, and deafening. Yang's ear was right next to her mouth, and she staggered back, deafened. It sounded like a banshee coming back through the veil while giving birth, backwards.
"SHYAAAAHHHHHIIIE!"

Yang watched with horrified concern as Blake's form disintegrated into multiple shadows like her Semblance had all converged on each other and then blinked out of existence.

"Blake?"

Blake was gone.
