Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail.

Mirya was sprinting to where she heard explosions. She found herself in a clearing to see Gildarts and a dude fighting. Gildarts was being crushed underfoot.

"Hey old man! What are you doing?" Mirya yells, drawing their attention.

"How can you stand? We destroyed the Tenrou Tree, you shouldn't be able to move." The man informs her.

"Get out of here! Get the guild away!" Gildarts yells at her.

"What do you take me for? A coward? Hell no!" Mirya says, charging at the man. He blasts her into a rock and dust erupts.

"Man, that actually hurt a little." Mirya says, rising from the rock. She stretches a little and looks at the man. He looked surprised and intrigued.

"What is your name and how are you able to move with the Tenrou Tree down?" He asks.

"Well, I'm Mirya Astre and I don't know." Mirya answers, unaware of what she was accomplishing.

"The Tenrou Tree supplies energy and blessings to those who wear your guild's insignia." He says pointing to her guild mark. "If uprooted, it should cause the members of Fairy Tail to become weak, not allowing them to fight." He explains.

"You shouldn't be able to move." He finishes.

"Fairy Tail is known for doing the impossible, I'm merely upholding our guild's reputation." Mirya says, smirking.

"My turn for questioning, what's your name?" Mirya asks.

"My name is Bluenote." He answers.

"Well, why are you here? You don't seem to be after Zeref, like the rest of your guildmates." Mirya says, hearing Gildarts inhale sharply.

"I'm searching for Fairy Glitter. An ultimate offensive spell rumored to be held by your first master, Mavis Vermillion. I came in search of her grave. But imagine my surprise that some brown haired girl beat me to the punch." He says, causing Mirya to falter. "I'm going to deal with her later, but as of right now, I'll destroy you and him." He says, motioning to Gildarts and attacking her.

She felt gravity way down on her, but when you've had training with Libra. It was nothing.

"Reverse Gravity." She says, reversing gravity to Bluenote's shock.

"You use Gravity magic?" He asks, surprised that she not only reversed his attack, but that she had enough power to do so.

"Not really." She answers. "My turn."

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Heavenly Judgement!" A pillar of light released upon Bluenote. If this attack was enough to deal with Jose, then it's enough for him. She looks to see him knocked unconscious. She felt relief as she saw Gildarts relax slightly.

"Hey old man. Where is everyone?" Mirya asks. She supported Gildarts as she and him made their way to the base camp.

"I sent Cana, Natsu, Lucy, and Wendy away while I fought him. But then I felt weak. I'm guessing it has something to do with that tree." As Gildarts said that, they saw the tree righting itself back to its original position.

"I think I've just about seen everything now." Mirya says, looking at the tree reconstruct itself. Gildarts moved so that he wasn't leaning on her anymore.

"Yeah." He says, both making their way to the camp. They get there to see part of their group injured while the others are setting up defenses.

"Where's Natsu and the rest of them?" Mirya asks Freed.

"They went to storm the airship." Freed says with a grimace. He knew exactly what she was going to do.

"Alright everybody, I'm off to blow up a ship." Mirya announces, as she summons her wings and heads off to help her team. She flies faster when she senses some of Zeref's magic. "Who is dumb enough to cast that spell? Zeref isn't, he created it sure, but he wouldn't use it." Mirya thinks as she crashes her way in front of Erza, Gray, Wendy, Natsu, Lucy, and surprisingly Laxus.

"Oi! What do you think you're doing sir?" Mirya asks, holding her hand up in the universal motion for stop.

"Thank goodness."

"Big sister!"

"Mirya!"

She heard from Erza, Wendy, and Lucy, respectively.

"Perish to these demons!" The old man says, his right eye glows red. "That spell is useless against light." Mirya thinks, scoffing.

"You won't hurt my family anymore." She says, releasing a great amount of light with Regulus.

"What is this? My demons are disappearing!" He yells as he looks around.

"That spell relies on the darkness found within your heart, light derived from love and affection proves to be a decent counter maneuver." Mirya says.

"I won't be beaten by you." Hades roars, releasing magic bullets from his hands. Mirya dodges most of them, but some do hit her. He falters and halts, grasping his chest.

"You alright?" Mirya asks, that didn't look normal.

"My heart! What happened to my heart?" Hades ponders.

"Celestial Dragon's Whirlwind of Stars!" Mirya releases a torrent of purple energy towards Hades. Her attack caused half of the airship to give way. The ground they were on rumbled. Hades was blown away, lying defeated on the floor of his airship. Mirya turns her head to see Natsu's scarf blow with the breeze.

"Ahhh! Someone help me, I'm going to fall!" Lucy yells as she just barely grabbed the scarf. She was balancing on her tiptoes, about to fall in the sea below her.

"I've got you Lucy!" Wendy yells as she grabs Lucy and pulls, causing Lucy to do a split. The blonde mage cried out in pain and Mirya was left laughing at the sight.

"We did it!" Wendy yells, excited that they took down the master of Grimoire Heart.

"What's that noise?" Lucy questions, turning to locate the origin of said noise. They all look to see mages by the dozens run after Happy, Lily, and Carla.

"Natsu! Help us!" Happy yells, running towards his friends.

"I have no magic left." All of them except Mirya say.

"I'll handle this." Mirya says with a sigh. She stepped forward and released her magical energy. She hoped to intimidate the mages instead of fighting them.

"What is she?"

"A monster!"

"Is that Master Hades?!"

All of the mages turn to see their master defeated and panic.

"Leave this island at once." Mirya says, glaring at them.

"Right away ma'am!" They all scurry off as they see the rest of their guild incoming.

They all celebrate. Mirya watches as the Thunder Legion surrounds Laxus, Natsu bragging to Gajeel, and Wendy and Levy fretting over the two dragon slayers. She smiles, happy at the outcome. She sees as the master talks with Grimoire's master and can only wonder what happened to Ultear.

"Now then onto important matters. LAXUS! What are you doing on this island!? You are trespassing!" The master yells at Laxus, his face comical.

"Lay off old geezer." Laxus says, waving him away.

"That brat…" The master shakes in frustration towards his grandson.

"Gramps, lay off him. He came to help us out. At least let him recover." Mirya tells him, reminding of common courtesy.

"I suppose. Let's all head back to the camp." The master rounds up everyone as they all head back to the camp.

.

.

All of the mages are relaxing. Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gildarts, Cana, and Lucy disappeared somewhere. While Erza, master, and Laxus discussed preparations to leave. Mirya was with the rest of them, hanging out. All of their wounds were tended to, courtesy of Wendy and Piri.

Mirya grows silent as she feels Zeref use his curse. "Have mercy on their souls, Ankhseram." Mirya prays, knowing some of the sins they've committed.

"You okay?" Wendy asks, her intuition was sharp.

"I'm fine Little Dragon, just healing." Mirya says, patting Wendy on her head. Mirya felt the magical presence before anything else, not the vibration in the air, not the pure fear and destruction, not even the roar that followed after all of that.

"We need to leave now!" Mirya announces, pulling everybody that she could. They all looked at her pale form, but what sealed the deal was her face. She looked terrified. They all took initiative and began to run, but they all fell to the ground due to the roar that followed them.

"What was that?" They asked.

"A dragon's roar." Wendy says, she trembled.

"A dragon's roar?!" They looked incredulous, but from Mirya and Wendy's reactions they believed it. Gildarts, Cana, Lucy, Natsu, and Happy burst into the clearing and Gildarts sent Mirya a meaningful look. Mirya returned it, knowing what he tried to convey.

They looked to the sky to see a black dragon descend upon them, casting a shadow over the island.

"That is Acnologia, the dragon of the apocalypse." The master says, walking out of the forest. He looked grim. Erza and Laxus were right behind him, looking shocked at the dragon.

"There's no doubt about it." Gildarts says, looking at the dragon with fear.

"Hey! Do you know where Igneel is?! Metalicana, Grandine, and Aella?" Natsu questions, being held back by Gildarts.

"We have to move now!" Gildarts yells.

"I am a dragon slayer, I can take this thing down." Natsu tells him.

"This isn't about beating it. This is about getting away with our lives, and I'm not sure all of us are going to manage that." Gildarts says, shocking the group.

"Are you saying that thing is going to kill some of us?!" Gray yells, looking at the black winged monster.

"Hurry! The ship is beyond this clearing!" Erza points and signals a retreat to the ship. They all begin to run until Acnologia lands on the island and bellows at them. They fall down and look at the destruction that was caused by his roar. They saw the forest completely uprooted.

"He did all of this with just a roar?" Levy questions, fearing the destructive power that the dragon held.

"GET TO THE SHIP!" They all watch as the master uses his Titan magic and grows into a size to deal with Acnologia.

"We won't leave you behind!" Natsu yells, only to be pulled back by Laxus.

"Laxus, let go!" Natsu fights until he sees Laxus crying.

They all had tears in their eyes as they ran. "Goddamnit! It's just like 400 years ago." Mirya curses mentally.

"We are not leaving Gramps! I'm going back for him." Natsu says, leaving. The others protest but Mirya follows him. "If I die today, I'm taking that beast with me. I won't let anyone die today." Mirya thinks, racing to the master's side.

"We're taking Gramps back with us!" Natsu yells as he punches the dragon.

"Natsu?" The master questions as he sees Erza stand in front of him and sees Mirya observing the dragon.

"You know, a lot of people will let an old man take the fall. But not your guild." Laxus says.

"All right everybody! Let's show this lizard who Fairy Tail is. I'll blast it with a thousand bolts and you guys unleash your attacks!" Laxus yells generating lightning.

Lucy, Levy, Freed, Bickslow, Cana, Gray, Evergreen, and Mira launch attacks that combine with Laxus' attack.

"Did that get him?" They ask. They see the dragon there unaffected.

"No way…" That attack would have leveled a small town.

"Hey dragon slayers! Show him what you got!" Laxus yells, the dragon slayers responding. Mirya, Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy fly and release their roars simultaneously, hitting Acnologia.

"They pushed him back!" The others look to see that Acnologia crashes into some rocks.

"He's holding back. He's not even using half the power he used with me." Gildarts says.

"What!?" Natsu questions. He looks to see a golden light crash into Acnologia, who had gotten right back up.

"MIRYA!" They all yell, seeing her take the dragon on.

"I'll hold him off! Think of something and quick!" She yells, releasing her wing attack on him. Acnologia bats her into a rock with his wing, causing internal damage inside her.

"Is she okay?" They all look at her, while Freed, Lucy, Levy, and the master think of anything. They look on in relief to see her rise and launch another attack on Acnologia. She pushed him far enough to make her way to Lucy.

"Lucy give me your keys." Mirya asks, hoping for the Zodiac keys. Lucy knew that Mirya would get more use of them than her, so she handed them over. Mirya fought through the waves of pain she felt in her abdomen. Mirya lands and grabs all of the Zodiac keys in Lucy's possession.

"OPEN, GATES OF THE ZODIAC!" She yells, releasing a series of golden light. She summoned all ten of them in her desperation to buy her guild time. "If I get Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy killed here, then we've lost all hope."

"Old friends, help me protect and continue on with my mission. Use whatever power necessary." Mirya asks them. They nod and begin to fight against Acnologia. She felt a pull in her magic reserves and knew that the spirits were doing everything in their power to protect their fellow sister and the kind master who showered them in love and compassion.

Aquarius, Cancer, Taurus, Virgo, Sagittarius, Leo, Aries, Scorpio, Gemini, and Capricorn attacked with the power that they were revered for.

Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, and Gemini were the main attack force. Aquarius was using her urn to keep Acnologia at bay, while Leo and Scorpio blasted him with sand and light. Taurus and Gemini have the dangerous job of getting close to the dragon to hit him. Taurus with his axe and Gemini had transformed into Mirya to hit Acnologia with dragon slayer magic.

Aries, Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Capricorn provided support and protected the guild from stray magic attacks and debris.

Lucy could only look on in awe. She couldn't believe that Mirya had the power to open ten Zodiac gates simultaneously, plus provide them with magic to counter Acnologia.

"My child, take this power." Mirya hears the voice of the Spirit King. She feels power surge through her veins and rises. She felt crystals jut out of her body, she was producing scales to cover herself. Her hair billowed behind her, growing double in length and turning light purple. She was producing waves upon waves of magic.

"Was that the king?" Lucy asks, recognizing the voice.

"Dragon Force." The group turns to their master. His voice held awe.

"What's Dragon Force?" Erza asks.

"The ultimate form of a dragon slayer. It gives them the potential power to slay a dragon." He explains. "This will buy us some time, but I am certain that she will not be able to slay him." He says to their shock.

"Solid Script has tons of defensive spells." Levy says, not being able to think of anything else.

"As does Enchantment." Freed says.

"Everybody focus all of your magic onto Freed and Levy." Erza says. She looks to see Mirya battling Acnologia.

"You took everything from me! I won't let you leave without a fight!" She yells, feeding more magic energy to the spirits.

"Let's hold hands." They begin to hold hands.

"Celestial Dragon's Starry Shot!" Bombs by the hundreds descend on Acnologia, causing him to roar in pain. The aftershocks caused the island to shake. The fairies were left staring in terror and awe at the sight.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Spirits of Time!" It was an attack that Mirya had never used because Aella told her that it was only to be used in an emergency.

"What is she doing?" They all ask. They look to see a multitude of people materialize.

"That spell is meant for only the gravest of threats." The guild looked to the master who looked shocked.

"What did she do?" Gajeel asks, staring at the battle in front of him.

"She called forth spirits from different times to fight for her. With all of those spirits, it will consume most of her power. But their capabilities are immense." The master explained, sensing the magic coming from the spirits. The fairies can only look on to see the raw power each spirit held. There was a little girl, an old man, a general, a mother with a baby slung across her back, a lanky teenage boy, among others.

"We shall cast divine punishment." The spirits say in unison, encircling the beast. Chains came up and bound Acnologia, burning the dragon.

"Screeeeee!" The fairies can only hold their ears in pain. They look on to see Acnologia yell in pain and struggle to break free of the chains. It only lasted a minute, before Acnologia broke free, sending the spirits back to wherever they came from.

The fairies all watched as Mirya did her best to fight for their guild.

"Mirya! We're ready! Join us and hold hands!" Erza yells, catching her attention.

"You got it!" Mirya darts underneath Acnologia and unleashes the biggest roar she's ever produced.

"Celestial Dragon's Roar!"

It launches Acnologia into the sky and she moves to join her guild, who was waiting for her, hands out in front of them. She closed the Zodiac gates and bid the Zodiac spirits goodbye with a nod. She holds onto Gajeel and Wendy's hands.

"We're going back home, back to Fairy Tail!" They yell. Levy and Freed cast their defensive spells with the magic the others provided, while Mirya poured out her remaining power into a barrier she created. They look to see Acnologia release his roar.

Tenrou Island was swallowed by both the roar and the Fairy Sphere.

.

.

.

Mirya felt like she was floating in nothingness. She opened her eyes to see a golden sphere around her.

"This is quite the surprise." Mirya hears. She looks around, only to wince in pain. She coughed up blood. Acnologia really caused damage when he slammed her against that rock.

"I'm right here." She looks to see a young girl. Her hair went down to her ankles.

"Who are you?" Mirya asks.

"I am Fairy Tail's first master, Mavis Vermillion." She says.

"Um… I'm Mirya, nice to meet you." She greets, confused. Was she dead? "Am I dead?" She questions.

"No. You and the rest of your guild are now being protected by the Fairy Sphere, one of the three grand fairy spells." She says to Mirya.

"Slow your roll! Where is the rest of the guild?" Mirya asks, looking around to see none of them.

"You are the only one here because you've managed to regain consciousness. No small feat. I believe that since you were at the peak of your power due to Dragon Force, you've managed the strength to remain conscious for a while." Mavis says, her hand on her chin.

"Are the others asleep?" Mirya asks.

"Yes. The Fairy Sphere is ultimate protection. It blocks off an area by pulling it out of time. The others are in an ongoing slumber. They will awaken when the spell wears off." The first master explains.

"How long will that take?" Mirya asks.

"Unfortunately it will take a hundred years." Mavis says.

"What?! We can't stay in here for a hundred years." Mirya panics.

"But something is wrong." Mavis says, capturing Mirya's attention.

"What's wrong?" Mirya asks, hoping for no more bad news.

"Your magical core has not stopped working. As we speak it's continuing to work by dispelling the Sphere. It is speeding up the process." Mavis tells her. "When the spell is used, it halts all activity. This is quite perplexing."

"I don't feel any different." Mirya says, poking her stomach. "Wait… How long have we been here for?" Mirya asks, scared of the answer.

"One month. But at the rate you're dispelling the Sphere, I predict that only seven years will pass, instead of the original hundred." Mavis tells her, making Mirya relax.

"Your connection to the Celestial Spirit World may be helping you as well. Your aura feels similar to that of a spirit, since time flows differently in the Spirit World; it may explain why you've regained consciousness." Mavis theorizes.

"Will I be awake during the seven years?" Mirya asks, dreading the loneliness that came with it.

"No. I'm certain you'll fall back into slumber with the rest of the guild." Mavis says, relieving Mirya. As she said that, Mirya felt her head grow heavy and her eyes drooping.

"You are already falling back into slumber. I shall watch over you guys. I know you have no control over this, but keep dispelling the Sphere. You'll get out of here soon enough." Mavis says.

"I'll do my best. Thanks First Master." Mirya managed to say as she fell asleep. Her consciousness fades, but before her awareness disappeared completely she heard a series of voices.

"I'm sorry." Metalicana said.

"Thank you." Grandine said.

"Keep going." Igneel said.

"Mirya… You've grown strong." She puzzles at this voice but eventually recognizes it. Jellal.
