PART 2
Chapter 2x4: Infinity War
Carriers hover over the ground with Wakandan soldiers and Natasha, Arash, Steve and Bucky on board, War Machine and Falcon keep pace overhead while Bruce is running in the Hulkbuster armor
"How we looking, Bruce?" - asked Natasha
"Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of it" - said Bruce clearly enjoying himself - "it's like being the Hulk without actually-" - he was saying until he stumbles on a rock making Okoye look at him in a dubious way and Arash laugh a little - "I'm okay, I'm okay" - he assured while standing
"Clearly" - mocked Arash with a smirk and rolling his eyes
"I got two heat signatures breaking through the tree line" - informed Rhodey on everybody's comm
The carrier pilots swerve into U-turns allowing the soldiers, Dora Milaje's and everybody else to get down from them joining the Jabari Warriors that were standing while M'Baku rallies them with a war chant.
"Thank you for standing with us" - greeted T'Challa clasping M'Baku with the wrist
"Of course, brother" - answered M'Baku before turning to look at the superheroes standing close looking especially at the Prince with curiosity - "you're the Persian boy that the King dates?" - He asked to Arash
"WE ARE NO-" - started to yell Arash before cutting off grunting and pinching the bridge of his nose - "I can't believe even the Jabari are keeping up with the media rumors" - he said before following the rest of the superheroes who walked away
When Arash catches up with T'Challa, Cap, and Black Widow standing at the edge of the barrier he saw Proxima Midnight testing the strength of the barrier by drawing her swords across it, she was standing next to Cull Obsidian.
"Oh my god, big guy again?" - Groaned Arash making Obsidian let out a huff
"Where's your other friend?" - asked Natasha
"You will pay for his life with yours, Thanos will have that stone" - said Proxima
"That's not gonna happen" - assured Steve
"You are in Wakanda now, Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood" - stated T'Challa
"We have blood to spare" - said Proxima before she brandishes her sword with a snarl and the ships behind her start raising their outer hulls to allow their "passengers" to disembark.
"Did they surrender?" - asked Bucky sardonically while the four heroes returned from the barrier back to the formation
"Not exactly" - said Steve
T'Challa leads the Wakandans in a war cry as the Outriders bound toward the barrier while Proxima drops her sword arm down in the signal to attack.
"What the hell" - said Bucky flatly astonished at the number of Outrides
"Looks like we pissed her off" - stated Natasha
"Maybe just a little" - added Arash
Everybody looked as the Outrides bombard the force field squeezing limbs and bodies partly through only to be bisected but slowly a few of them managed to squeeze through intact, the Border Tribe take a knee and raise their shields with the Kingsguard behind them putting their sonic spears over their shoulders firing at the approaching monsters with also Winter soldier joining with his machine gun, Bruce with the hand repulsors of the Hulkbuster and Arash with energy blasts.
Sam was sending Redwings into the fight as he flies, swooping to fire at them with his Steyr pistols while Rhodey flies over the heaviest concentration of Outriders and drops a barrage of mines exploding on the aliens, but then everybody started to notice a pack of the aliens running around the force field.
"Cap, if these things circle the perimeter and get in behind us…there's nothing between them and Vision" - said Bruce
"Them we better keep 'em in front of us" - said Steve
"How do we do that?" - asked Arash confused
"We open the barrier" - stated T'Challa putting his comm to his mouth - "on my signal, open North-West Section Seventeen" - he said
"Requesting confirmation, my King, you said open the barrier?" - asked the voice on the comm
"On my signal" - repeated T'Challa
"This will be the end of Wakanda" - said M'Baku
"Then it will be the noblest ending in history" - answered Okoye
"So much for a quiet road trip from school" - groaned Arash as he started to float with a force field around him
"WAKANDA FOREVER" - shouted T'Challa crossing his arms in the Wakandan salute as his Black Panther helmet closes on his head and everybody started to charge to the barried - "NOW" - ordered T'Challa into his comm
Arash was shooting energy blast with one hand to a couple of Outriders that entered on the opening of the city force field while his other hand he used his force fields to grab a couple to throw them to the Wakanda's force field, he took even moments to support other Avengers stopping some of the aliens in time so they could kill them.
Obsidian thrown his hammer to the Persian boy but it just hit the force field surrounding him and as soon as Arash felt it he used his energy to throw the hammer back to the alien hitting him in his chest, before he could do something else an Outrider jumped in front of him smashing against his force field, he used energy to grab him and throw him away, he turned to Obsidian again but lost sight of the alien.
The Prince floated higher to cover more the surroundings trying to look for the Obsidian but since he couldn't find him so he was back to fighting the Outriders, it felt like they were never ending as he started to feel a little tired for overusing the energy blast as is a very tiring ability, but he learned to use his healing power to buy him more time and avoid a repetition of what happened in the Washington Monument.
Arash noticed how the heroes on the ground were struggling with the Outriders, so he made force fields around them to protect them and just when he expands them to move the aliens away a large rainbow beam landed in the middle of the action and an axe flies out of it tearing through the Outriders before flying back to the light and into its master's hand, just as the beam cuts out revealing Thor, a tree thing and raccoon with a machine gun, most of the heroes pause in astonishment looking at the new arrival while Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian look in apprehension.
"BRING ME THANOS" - growled Thor as he charged toward the hordes of Outriders followed by his two companions.
Lightning gathered around Thor before he launched himself into the air landing in the densest concentration of Outriders and makes a crater where they had stood, Arash landed on the ground turning invisible to stop using his powers to float and decided to use his force fields to avoid tiring himself with the energy blast.
The Persian boy used energy to move the ground to create two big earth walls that he dropped onto a big crow of Outriders, he stopped in time a stampede going his way before they could reach him, but when he was about to do anything to them a large branch go through the aliens lifting them.
"I AM GROOT" - yelled the tree being that came with Thor before throwing away the Outriders attached to his branch and Arash made himself visible to the creature
"Well, thank you Groot" - said Arash smiling at him
"Your highness, look out!" - Warned Steve as more Outriders were coming his way on the back out of his sight
Before the Prince could do anything someone grabbed him while lightning bolts fall around killing the aliens surrounding them, the Persian had his eyes closed when it all happened but slowly open them realizing he made a force field around him and the person still holding him, he turned to look up to see who it was.
"Are you ok your highness?" - asked Thor looking down at the boy in his arms
"Um…I…yeah…no need…to call me that…I'm Arash…I mean…Vizier" - he stutter nervous and feeling suddenly shy around the God of Thunder
"I'm gonna keep fighting, you be more careful, alright?" - said Thor with a smirk
"Sure yeah…" - said Arash clearing his throat and looking down to hide his blush making the Asgardian smirk bigger
"I think you need to stop what you are doing for me to move" - said Thor
"Yeah…sorry" - said Arash before taking his force field down - "and I think…you need to stop holding me…to move" - he said nervously making the God of Thunder smirk in a more cocky way before letting the Prince go and fly away
A deep rumbling could be heard and then sets of massive motorized spiked wheels come out of the ground and start to go to the battlefield, Sam and Rhodey try got stop them without much luck until Arash used his energy powers to move the big machines to the force field of Wakanda to make them explode, some of them escape his grasp but he got distracted with more Outriders before doing something.
"Guys, we got a Vision situation here" - said Sam through the comm
"Somebody get to Vision" - ordered Steve on the comm
"I got him!" - said Bruce and Arash at the same time
A/N: Seems like the special pads that Shuri gave Arash worked because my boy was ready for the fight...but maybe not so ready to be standing in front the God of Thunder ;)
