Star City Cemetery, Daytime

The Funeral of Moira Queen proceeded with a respectable crowd with Thea, Walter, Laurel, Quentin, Felicity, Dig, Mark, and several others attending. The only one who wasn't present was, Oliver, as a seat next to Thea was vacant. As Walter looked and sadly realized that Oliver was not coming, he grabbed his step-son's pink rose and placed it on Moira's coffin along with his own. With Laurel, Quentin, and everyone else soon following his lead.

City Hall

With Moira Queen deceased, her opposition, Sebastian Blood ran unopposed and was elected Mayor; at city hall, he was being sworn into office. "I do solemnly swear that I will support, defend, and abide by the Star City charter. And that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of Mayor of Star City. That I will tirelessly pursue justice on behalf of all of Star City's citizens impartially, to the best of my abilities. So, help me, god." Blood finished and the crowd cheered for him, as the newly elected mayor began thanking and shaking hands with various city officials.

Queen Mansion

"Thea," Laurel said getting the young women's attention during Moira's reception.

"Hey," Thea replied.

"I'm here for you," Laurel told her placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I know," Thea told her and hugged her in comfort.

"Ms. Queen." Blood said getting the two women's attention. "I wanted to offer my sincere condolences on your loss. Your mother was a good woman. She would have made a wonderful mayor."

"Thank you," Thea replied as Laurel stared at him.

"I'd love to speak with Oliver." Blood brought up.

"Well, if you see him, tell him he missed his own mother's funeral," Thea told him bitterly as she left him.

"No one's seen Oliver for a few days," Laurel informed him.

"We all deal with grief in different ways. And the loss of a parent is … well, it changes you." He said clearing throat knowing this all too well. "When you realize that your ancestors look to you, that your family's legacy, their continuing works are solely in your hands … if you see Oliver, please tell him that I came by."

"Of course." Laurel smiled but as Sebastian walked away, her smile started to fade as something began to dawn on her.

Felicity was crying as Dig walked up behind her and offered her a tissue." Hey." He said giving it to her.

"Thanks." She said taking it and wiping her eyes. "I don't even know why I'm crying. I didn't even like Moira. Terrible thing to say about someone after they just died. In my defense, she was not nice. She was diabolical." She went on. "Not a word you often hear at someone's funeral."

"You're not entirely wrong but still, it's disrespectful to say that," He told her politely.

"I know Dig, I know. Sorry." She apologized sniffling.

"Also I think you're not crying for her, Felicity. You're crying for Oliver." He told her.

"Where is he?" She asked him. "How could he not be here?"

"I don't know." He agreed. "Not even Laurel's heard from him since Moira died."

"If Oliver's smart, he ran back to his island to hide." A familiar voice told them both, it was Isabel Rochev who popped up behind Felicity; surprising both of them as they believed her to be dead. "But maybe he'll attend your funerals." She commented then walked away.

Elsewhere in the mansion, Walter found himself looking intently at a picture frame of himself and Moira. "I always loved this photograph." He told Thea once he saw her walk into the room. "I thought your mother looked particularly beautiful.

"She didn't. She thought she looked bug-eyed." She revealed to him.

"Heh." He weakly chuckled. "She never said. How are you holding up?"

"I'm not." She admitted as she buried her face in his chest as he wrapped an arm around her.

"Your mother gave her life for you, Thea." He reminded her. "She showed you how much she loved you in ways very few parents ever could."

"I know. She died thinking I hated her." She realized as she parted from him. "All we needed was the truth. It was a lie that killed her."

"I don't understand." He said puzzled.

"Slade Wilson. He was on that island with Oliver." She revealed. "And despises him for some reason. There was a psychopath in our lives and my brother never warned us about him."

"Thea, your brother loves you more than life itself." He told her.

Contemplating for a moment, she spoke up. "You should keep that photo." She told him then left, as he put the photo down.

SCPD HQ

"No one has seen Slade Wilson since the night of attack. He hasn't made any further threats on the Queen family, but we gotta find this son of a-" Quentin started to say to a detective when he saw Laurel walk in. "Excuse me." He said then walked over to Laurel. "Hey."

"Missed you at the reception," Laurel said.

"Yeah, I had to get back here. See what's happening with the case." He told her.

"Any leads?"

"Nope. Wilson's a ghost. He's not the only one who's disappeared. You seen Oliver?" He asked.

"No, and I'm getting worried." She admitted and then gave a look her father was too familiar with.

"Hm. Something else on your mind?" He asked.

"It's Sebastian Blood. There's something that doesn't seem right." She brought up and then her Dad sighed and walked away from her.

"Dad I know what you're thinking-"

"This again?" He exclaimed cutting her off. "Laurel the last time you accused Blood, you were wrong. So wrong that almost lost your career as a lawyer." He reminded her.

"I know, Dad." She admitted lowly, to keep the next part of their conversation quiet. "Look when I accused him of killing his father, I was keeping the fact that I was the Black Canary a secret from you. But now you know the truth. And, Dad, I may not be a cop but I am the daughter of a cop. And you taught me that when you see enough coincidences, it's no longer random; it's a pattern. And there have too many coincidences with Sebastian." She told him and he nodded as he had to acknowledge that. "Dad, I need you to trust me on this."

"Okay, honey." He agreed.

Mayor's Office

"This legislation is the first step toward making Star City the jewel that it once was." Blood said to the press as he was signing a document on his desk. "The jewel that it can be again."

"Phone call for you, Mayor Blood." His secretary told him.

"I'm still getting used to people calling me that Alysa." He smiled. "Please take a message."

"The caller insisted. He said he's your father." She said lowly so the press wouldn't hear.

"That's impossible." He acknowledged but then realized who it was that was actually calling him. "Never mind. I'll take it. Hello." He answered the phone as she left.

"Hello, Sebastian," Slade said confirming Blood's suspicions. "I'm sorry to bother you. I just want to check in and see how your first day is going."

"Very well, thank you." Blood said controlling his nerves. "But I'm a little busy right now, so if you'll allow me to call you back, I'll do that as soon as I can."

"No need. I'm sure you have quite a lot of business to attend to. You are the mayor now after all. So get to work." Slade ordered him, as Blood hung up the phone contemplating what was coming.

Arrowcave Bunker, Next Day

"We're almost out of animal tranquilizer." Dig pointed out as he and Felicity were tending to an unconscious Roy.

"Seeing Roy like this reminds me of Barry." Felicity reflected. "And Barry reminds me of S.T.A.R. Labs. S.T.A.R. Labs reminds me of the Mirakuru cure that they're working on which we could really use right now." She expressed.

"Yeah, especially since Isabel Rochev was clearly injected with the stuff." He noted.

"How do you know?" She asked as Dig walked away finished with Roy.

"Because there's no other way she could be walking after being shot dead on with 9mm hollow point." He clarified. "Left about a dozen messages for Oliver about Isabel being back. No response. You have any luck finding him?" He asked her.

"Tons. All of it bad." She stated then walked to her computer station. "There's been no activity on his passport, cell phone, or bank accounts. What's left of them anyhow. And facial recognition hasn't spotted him at any airport, bus or train station."

"Right. I called Laurel, she says she's working on a lead that might help us with Slade." He told her.

"Leaving us to find Oliver. Which we're having no luck with." She pointed out. "Dig, people don't go missing like this unless-"

"Don't go there, Felicity." He cut her off trying not to think of the same thing.

"What if Oliver is? Maybe the reason we can't find him is because-"

"He's alive, Felicity." He cut her off once more. "If he wasn't, Isabel Rochev wouldn't be so shy about rubbing it in our faces. Believe me, he's alive."

"Well, I hope you have some way on how to find him because I am running out of places to look and people to ask." She said tiredly.

"I know who to ask." He said but hated that he had too.

A.R.G.U.S. HQ

"Thanks for agreeing to see us," Dig said as he and Felicity were escorted into the office of Amanda Waller.

"Mr. Diggle. Thought I made it clear after our last meeting. As far as A.R.G.U.S. is concerned you're out of favors." Waller told him in a cold manner returning to her work.

"I'm not asking for myself, Amanda." He said making her slightly curious. "I'm asking for everyone in Star City. We need you to find Oliver Queen."

Shortly after, Felicity and Dig watched the federal agents work with very impressive technology that did not go unnoticed by the computer expert. "Dig. That computer is running an XK-15 processor." She noted.

"Felicity."

"But that's not even supposed to exist yet. I want one." She expressed.

"Let me know what you find," Amanda told a subordinate of hers. "I don't have time to keep track of your friends Mr. Diggle. We deal with more pressing issues." She addressed him.

"You don't understand. Oliver's disappeared." He told her once more.

"Maybe he needs some time. Or is it possible that the two of you haven't been looking in the right place? Did you try facial recognition?" She asked treating them like idiots.

"Yes, I ran it three times," Felicity answered.

"Amanda, please. Slade Wilson has an army of men just like him." Dig told her.

"How many have been exposed to the Mirakuru?" Amanda asked now realizing this was a concern to her.

"Enough to lay waste to this city. We need to find Oliver right now." He told her.

"I'll see what I can do." She said.

Verdant

"Can you just call Mandy and see if she'll cover the bar?" Thea said as her employee agreed. Eventually, Thea heard and saw Isabel walk into Verdant.

"Isabel Rochev." She said extending her hand.

"I know who you are," Thea replied not shaking it. "What can I do for you, Ms. Rochev?"

"I'm sorry for your loss, Thea." She said and prepared to offer the younger woman the binder she was carrying.

"Is that why you came here?" Thea asked turning her back on her. "Offer me your condolences?"

"My condolences and to give you this," Isabel said putting a piece paper down for her. "It's a notice to vacate the premises. This club and the steel factory in which it's located are all assets of Queen Consolidated." She explained as Thea looked at the document.

"No, you can't do this." Thea pleaded trying to maintain her anger.

"It's already done," Isabel stated hardly able to contain her smirk.

"How long do I have?" Thea asked putting the notice down.

"A couple days," Isabel answered and walked away, finally taken everything from Robert Queen that was rightfully hers. While Thea just looked around at what was now her former club.

Mayor's Office

"Councilman Tyson is asking about dinner." Blood's secretary told him.

"I already have plans tonight." Blood told her.

"Hi." Laurel greeted Blood as she walked into his office. "Excuse me, I didn't mean to barge in. It's just that nobody was at your front desk, so…"

"Laurel, of course, please come in. Give us a moment." He asked Alyssa as she left. "Twice in two days? To what do I owe the pleasure?

"I wish I could say that this was pleasure, but it's about a case." She told him holding up a file.

"I'm barely moved in and already people are asking me for favors. Guess I have arrived." He joked.

"You certainly have." She sassed making him laugh.

"So tell me. How can I help you?" He asked.

"Murphy v. Dunleavy." She said giving him the file. "The state charged a real estate developer for turning away low-income tenants based on his so-called morality.

"Have a seat." He suggested while going through the file and as she did just that, planted a device underneath his desk.

"So let me guess. Our dear Fair Housing Commissioner isn't willing to testify as your expert witness." He put together sitting in his chair.

"Exactly. And your predecessor wasn't willing to lean on him." She told him.

"Well, lucky for you, I'm not my predecessor. You know, this actually reminds me of one I had during my days as a community organizer." He recalled.

"I was hoping that it would. I've seen dozens of cases like this at CNRI." She explained.

"Well, it's a good thing we both remember where we came from. I'm happy to help." He smiled.

"Thank you." She gave him a courteous smile as she got up and turned.

"Laurel." He spoke as she turned around. "I'm really glad you got your job back. I look forward to us working together for a long time."

"As do I." She lied then left.

SCPD HQ

"Is it working?" Quentin asked.

"Using the bug to remote access the computer right now." SCPD's IT expert told him and Laurel as they watched on.

"If you ever get tired of practicing law, you'd make a decent spy." Quentin joked making her smile.

"You guys have a warrant for this, right?" The expert asked.

"Just…"

"Terrific. Could you at least tell me whose computer you bugged?" The expert asked but then when the screen came on showing the mayor's seal and then he knew. "You're kidding. I voted for him."

"Yeah," Quentin said lowly.

"I need to know if there's anything incriminating in Blood's files," Laurel said leaning in on his workspace.

"What the hell? This was a dead-end job anyway." The expert said searching through his files. "This all looks pretty benign. Lots of policy papers. All documents transferred from his campaign office. Drafts, press releases."

"Wait, wait, wait. Click back." Laurel asked suddenly seeing something and the expert brought back the draft. "For immediate release. My thoughts and prayers are with the Queen family in the aftermath of this unspeakable tragedy." She read the draft out loud.

"He worked up a press release after Moira was killed." Quentin pointed out.

"No, he didn't. He wrote that the day before Moira died." She corrected him.

"She's right. Look at the time stamp." The expert point to the screen for Quentin to see and saw that the date and time were before Moira's death.

"Oh, my god," Quentin exclaimed.

"Sebastian knew Slade was gonna kill her." She said the facts now out in the open as father and daughter looked at each other in concern.

A.R.G.U.S. HQ

"Is that the Satellite Frequency Communicator TX-50?" Felicity asked the agent working at her station. "Can I touch it? I know that sounds a little weird and creepy, but I've never seen one in real life." She said touching it.

"It's classified equipment, Ms. Smoak," Amanda told her as she jerked her hand back.

"You must feel very powerful. Knowing everything about everyone. Not powerful in an evil dictator, Stalin way. More of a "knowledge is power" way." Felicity noted then found herself babbling.

"Ma'am, we have something." An agent told Waller bringing her computer tablet.

"Ahem," Felicity said.

"I should have known," Waller noted looking at the tablet.

"What?" Dig asked.

"Oliver's at the lair from which he conducts his operations," Waller told them.

"But we were just there," Felicity told her.

"Not that lair. His other one." Waller clarified handing the tablet over for Oliver's partners to see.

Oliver's Other Lair

Dig and Felicity entered a below-ground room where they saw a Wing Chun dummy, an archery stand target, and the archer himself. "How did you find me?" Oliver asked sitting on the floor not even looking at them.

"Waller," Dig answered as he and Felicity walk to him.

"We were worried about you," Felicity spoke up.

"After you missed your mother's funeral." Dig finished for her.

"I'm sorry that I didn't go. I left for the cemetery. But I ended up here." Oliver told them slowly and sadly.

"And here is?" Felicity asked.

"Here was a secondary facility in case the foundry was compromised." He explained. "But it became somewhere that I could just go and … be alone. She's dead because of me." He said then got up. "Five years ago … I could've cured Slade. And that would've prevented all of this. And now … all the people left that I care about … we're all in his crosshairs. That ends tonight."

"How?" Felicity asked.

"I turn myself over to Slade. I end this vendetta." Oliver tells them as he grabbed his jacket.

"Oliver, you think this ends with you turning yourself over to Slade?" Dig asked him worried about what the younger man intended.

"Yes, I do. After she was gone … he told me that one more person had to die. And then it would end." Oliver revealed. "This ends for Slade when he kills me."

"I don't accept that." Felicity refused to get up to Oliver's face. "You shouldn't either. You can't just accept things, Oliver. If I'd accepted my life, I would be a cocktail waitress in Vegas like my mother. And I never would have gone to college. I never would have moved a thousand miles away to work for Queen Consolidated. And I never would have believed some crazy guy in a hood when he told me I could be more than just some IT girl." She expressed realizing just how grateful she was for meeting Oliver. "Please don't do this."

"Felicity. Someone once told me … that the essence of heroism is to die so others can live." He told her.

"It's not that simple, Oliver," Dig said unwilling to let his friend kill himself.

"Yes, it is." Oliver countered. "Slade's whole plan … was to take everything from me. He did. He wins. All that's left is for me to die."

Dig was unable to say anything to convince Oliver otherwise as he began walking away. "No, there has to be another way," Felicity said tearfully.

"There isn't." Oliver squeezed her hand then left to make final arrangements before his death.

Queen Mansion

"Thea, please. I understand you're upset. This is an emotional time for all of us." Walter said trying to talk her out of it.

"I'm not being emotional. I'm … I'm an orphan. I'm a jobless and homeless orphan. There's nothing left for me here." Thea rambled on emotionally.

"I'm here." He reminded her.

"I thank you for that, but honestly I need to start over." She expressed and then the two noticed Oliver slowly walking in on them.

"Oliver," Walter said and Thea shrugged her head. "We missed you at the funeral."

"And the reception." She said under her breath.

"I'm sorry that I couldn't be there. What's going on here? Oliver asked.

"Thea's thinking of leaving Star City," Walter told him.

"No, I am leaving." She corrected him.

"Walter, can I speak to my sister for a moment?" Oliver asked.

"Perhaps, you'll have better luck," Walter said in earshot as he left his stepchildren alone.

"Ollie, please, just don't even try to convince me to stay." She told him as her mind was made up.

"I won't. I think it's a good idea." He said which surprised her. "You should get as far from Star City as you possibly can. In our family, out of you, me, Mom and Dad, you are the best of us. You have the purest heart. And I can't ever have you lose that." He said starting to choke up. "Okay? You promise me?"

"Okay." She nodded her head.

After a quick hug, he spoke again. "And I know that I haven't always been the best brother. Or friend, or whatever you've needed me to be. But there has not been a day since you were born … where I didn't cherish having you as a sister." He said from the heart as she nodded.

"Well, um, I'll get in touch when I get settled somewhere." She said with difficulty as she then left Oliver alone. Pulling out his phone, Oliver called Isabel.

"It's Oliver. This ends now. I'll be at the pier. I'll be alone." He said to her then hung up.

Star City Pier

Oliver stood out looking at the ocean, remembering how he got on the Gambit and reflected on everything that had happened since he got on it. Hearing footsteps, Oliver didn't even bother to look at Slade. "This is where it all started. Got on the Queen's Gambit right over there. Should have died on that boat. If I had, none of this would have happened." He said his voice full of self-deprecation. "I never would have met you. And Shado, Sara, Tommy, and my mother would still be alive. No one else is gonna die because of me." He finished but as he turned to face Slade, a tranq dart hit him in the neck. Grunting, Oliver immediately collapsed on the ground.

Arrowcave Bunker

Coming to, Oliver woke up in his lair and turned to see Felicity and Dig. "Diggle, what the hell?" He asked weakly from the sedative. But then immediately saw Laurel and next to her, Quentin. Leaving, Oliver visibly stunned.

"Slade Wilson … he told me who you were." Quentin filled him in, making sure that Oliver didn't think that Laurel told him his secret.

"Did he hurt you?" He asked getting out of the chair.

"No. He was trying to hurt you." Quentin told him.

"My dad and I found something out about Slade that you need to hear but then Diggle and Felicity told me what you were planning on doing," Laurel explained.

"It's what I have to do," Oliver told her lowly.

"No, Ollie, no!" She refused to rush over to hug him. "You can't commit suicide." She said then looked him right in the eye. "You won't do that to me, or your friends. Or to Thea. Oliver … she just lost her mother. Losing you would destroy her."

"But she'll be alive." He reasoned.

"Well, what about me? What about us?" She asked trying to not cry, not caring about how selfish she might sound a the moment. "Ollie, I just got you back. For real this time. I don't want to lose the man I love again."

"I'm sorry, Laurel. But this how it had to be." He told her flatly.

Moving up to both of them, Quentin put a hand on her shoulder. "Can you give us a moment." He asked looking at all of them. Once they had some privacy, Quentin found himself walking over and looking at the Green Arrow suit in the class case. "You know if I'm being honest, I wasn't all that surprised when Slade told me." He said and then looked at Oliver. "I think I always knew; on some level, I think I always knew."

"You know about Sara too, don't you?" Oliver said almost fearfully.

"Yeah, Slade told me, and Laurel filled in the blanks," Quentin answered still coming to terms with what he now knew.

"I'm sorry I couldn't save her … or my mother … or Tommy." He said heartbroken. "But I can save Laurel. And Thea. I can save the city if this ends tonight."

"Oliver you cannot give in to the demands of a lunatic, that won't end this. You can't do this!" Quentin yelled.

"And what do you care, huh!" Oliver snapped taking Quentin back a little. "For years you have hated me, you've looked at me with such contempt and utter disdain; so, convincing me that care about me all of the sudden isn't going to work."

"You know what, you're right. I have hated you." Quentin acknowledged. "I've blamed you for so much the last few years that it's become second nature to me. But you know what?" He said closing the distance between them. "The man you've been since you came home, especially this year. That's a man I respect, hell, that's a man I trust even. You can't just give up Oliver. You want to protect the people you love? Then the only way to do that is to stop Slade Wilson."

"I've tried, I can't-" Oliver shouted.

"Yes, you can! By stopping Sebastian Blood, because Blood is working with Slade Wilson." Quentin revealed to him, catching the young man off guard. "Laurel and I have proof. Slade Wilson killed your mother so that Blood would become Mayor."

Oliver looked down anger at himself and disappointed. "Laurel was right him about him. The man in the skull mask works for Slade Wilson. And this entire time, it was Sebastian." He acknowledged.

"Yeah, we should have listened to Laurel. We should've dug deeper." Quentin admitted. "But the "what-ifs" don't matter anymore. What's happening is bigger than you and Slade. This city needs you, Oliver. It needs the Green Arrow." He told him and slowly began to notice the fight returning in Oliver's eyes.

Japanese Restaurant, Night

Blood was greeting various people once he arrived at the restaurant, as he finished shaking hands he saw Oliver with an unpleasant look on his face. "Sebastian, may I join you for dinner?" Oliver asked flatly.

Undisclosed Location

Meanwhile, Diggle was taking care of Blood's bodyguard, Clinton Hogue. As he quickly captured and brought him to a secure location where he tied him to chair with a bag over his head. "Clinton Hogue … I have some questions for you." Dig said pulling the bag off his head.

"Go to hell," Hogue said almost immediately.

"You sure that's how you want to play it?" Dig asked.

"You think I've never taken a beating before?" Hogue brought up.

"Pal, you're gonna wish I beat you," Dig whispered into his ear.

"Hi, I'll be your interrogator," Felicity said to Hogue as she appeared with a computer tablet.

"Is this a joke?" Hogue asked wondering if this dorky blonde girl was really going to torture him.

"Clinton Hogue. Social Security Number 306-00-3894." She said.

"What the hell's this supposed to be?" He said worriedly.

"Well, look at this. You have a bank account in the Cayman Islands." She said looking at the tablet then pressed a button on the screen. "Wow. Two million dollars, quite the little nest egg. But looks like you just approved a wire transfer of one million dollars to a charity here in Star City. Very generous." Hogue grew irritated and tried to get free. "What should I do with the rest?" She asked him and Dig.

"Greenpeace," Dig suggests taking a backseat.

"Great cause." She said enthusiastically and transferred Hogue's money. "And they really appreciate the support."

"Bitch," Hogue said.

"Bitch with Wi-Fi." She sassed as Dig got a kick from this.

"Hey, Clinton looks like your mom and dad have a really nice retirement portfolio too." She brought up. "But they, oh, no are just about to make some really bad investments."

"Okay, wait, just wait. Just stop." Hogue said having enough of this. "What do you wanna know?"

Japanese Restaurant

"I missed you at your mother's memorial service." Blood said to Oliver as they sat down waiting for their meal. "I wanted to offer my condolences."

"You're the mayor. Congratulations." Oliver told him trying to control himself at the moment. "You've always wanted that."

"Believe me, Oliver. I wished it had happened a different way." Blood reassured him. "Your mother and I, we didn't agree on much but we both wanted what was best for Star City. I will help this city find it's heart again, I promise you that." He declared.

Oliver leaned in on the table and spoke. "Do you really think that he … will let that happen? Slade Wilson."

Shaken up and confused, Blood looked around. "How do you know I've been working with Slade Wilson?"

"Because I'm the Green Arrow," Oliver stated after a moment's pause.

Blood sighed and rolled his eyes. "Of course. Heh. It all makes sense now. I was right in front of me." He chided himself for being an idiot, then leaned in on the table as well. "You came to my office and you shook my hand. You said that together we can save this city." He reminded his friend.

"You think there will be a city to be saved after you unleash Slade's Mirakuru army?" Oliver asked.

"They'll only cause enough damage to make this city ready." He corrects him.

"Ready for your leadership?" Oliver guessed.

"For my vision of what this city could be. A better city. And after the storm, they're about to suffer the people of Star City … will support and follow me to that city." He said delusional not thinking about collateral damage his plan would cause.

"Whatever Slade promised you, he will not deliver. He wants to hurt me. You are a pawn in a much larger game." Oliver tried to convince him.

"Slade promised me City Hall … and he delivered." Blood reminded him. "He makes good on his promises. I understand he made you a promise too." He recalled as he sipped his drank. Flaring up, Oliver grabbed his dinner knife tightly which Blood noticed. "What are you do? You gonna stab the mayor in a restaurant full of people?" He taunted and Oliver gradually relented, Blood then got to his feet. "It's a new day in Star City, Oliver. And there's nothing you can do to stop it." He said taking his leave.

Queen Mansion

Thea walked down the steps of her home and took a good long look before she was about to leave, but her moment was interrupted by her cell phone. It was Walter. Reluctantly, she pressed the ignore button and then looked at the screen saver of her and Roy. Eventually, Thea put down the phone, turned off the house lights, and walked out the door.

Arrowcave Bunker

Back in the bunker, the team began arming themselves for war. "Slade's men are taking the city tonight?" Dig asked wanting to make sure.

"They can try," Oliver said as he grabbed his bow wearing his Green Arrow suit.

"He had more men then we thought, all on Mirakuru." Dig reminded him desperately. "It could be a massacre."

"Not if we get to them first." Oliver countered. "We stick to the plan, no matter what."

"Slade's using the sewer system," Felicity told them looking through schematics she got from Hogue. "You can drop in at Rock Avenue, then head southeast. The lines converge at Water Street. If Slade's army's underground, he'll be there."

"Good. Let's go." Oliver said as he looked at the schematics over her shoulder. "Diggle, you ready?"

"Never not?" Dig replied zipping the bag.

"Laurel?" Oliver asked looking at her dressed in her Black Canary suit.

"Almost, though I have my reservations about this plan," Laurel admitted putting away her gun with live ammo.

"Laurel, if there was another way to do this. I'd do it." Oliver told her. "I need you to trust me on this."

"I do." She said immediately. "Oliver ... I'd swore I never kill anyone unless it was in self-defense ... and even then I try not to do that. But this ... this is murder. Maybe you could argue for manslaughter but still, we are about to kill a lot of people."

"You've seen first hand what men like them can. One-on-one, they're nearly impossible to stop. And they're going to storm the city tonight." He reminded her as she listened intently. "If there is another way tell me right now. And I'll do it."

"I just ... Ollie wouldn't be me if I was okay with what we're going to do." Laurel told him and grabbed her tonfa/staff. "I'm ready.

"Let's move out." He told them as four left to stop a war before it started.

Sewer System

Underground, Oliver dressed as the Green Arrow walked through the tunnels looking for Slade's army. Also in the tunnels was Blood, gathering himself for the night to come and then donned his mask. Turning around, he addressed his army, all wearing masks just like Deathstroke's. "Tonight we rise up as one and take back this city." Blood decreed as Oliver was watching him from a hiding spot.

"I have eyes on Blood's army." Oliver said on comms.

Felicity's location

Above the sewers, Felicity sat in the van watching Oliver's movements. "Got it. I'm forwarding Dig your ping along with the found schematics." She responded on a laptop. "Follow the route I laid out in the blueprints, you'll see structural joints in the concrete." She told Dig and schematics were downloaded onto his phone. "Blow them all, Blood gets buried."

"Got it." Dig copied as he set the charges.

Bus Station

After watching a piece of tv news about Queen Consolidated's future, Thea made her way to the front of the line. "Excuse me, why can't I board my train." She asked.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. This is business class right now. Coach will be boarding soon." The front desk lady answered.

"Okay." Thea said as she left to take a seat.

SCPD HQ

Going through a file, Quentin saw someone familiar. "Isn't that one of the Iron Heights escapees?" He asked the officer escorting him.

"Dumbass tried to rob a convenience store, gave up soon as I pulled in." The beat cop said. "Mind if I just stick him here for a minute?"

"No, no, go ahead." Quentin agreed as the cop sat him in a chair.

Felicity's Location

"I hate to ask again but Oliver, you've worked really hard not to kill anymore." Felicity reminded him. "Dropping an entire block on these guys, Laurel's right this is arguable manslaughter."

Sewer System

"They're not men," Oliver told as he continues to watch them. "Not anymore." Getting up, Oliver heard footsteps and saw a Mirakuru soldier advancing to him. "Have Diggle blow the charges the moment he's ready." He told Felicity.

"Oliver?" She asked on comms but he ignored her.

Rushing the soldier, Oliver fired a cable arrow which tied the soldier's hand to a nearby pipe. Using a dropkick he pushed the soldier back releasing him of his restraints and sent him rolling. As he got up, Oliver kicked him and tried to flip him on his back but the soldier's superior strength allowed him to do it to Oliver himself.

"We will lead this city out of the darkness and each one of you will help me." Blood told his army.

Oliver dodged the attack as the soldier punched the ground, getting up he spun around him trading blows and blocking strikes; the soldier gained the advantage when he struck Oliver in the chest sending him to knees to catch his breath. Grabbing the wire from the cable arrow, the soldier began choking Oliver with it.

As Oliver groaned in pain, Laurel came up from behind him and grabbed an arrow from Oliver's quiver and stabbed the soldier in the back with it. This loosened his grip allowing Oliver to breathe once more. As the soldier turned his attention to Laurel, she began striking him with tonfa but it did nothing to him. Quickly, Oliver fired an explosive arrow at the soldier which knocked him down or killed he wasn't sure. "Come on," Oliver told Laurel as he grabbed her hand as they ran for their lives.

Dig's Location

"Oliver, where the hell are you?" Dig asked on the radio but got no response. As he got to activate the trigger, Dig was kicked to his side on the ground. Looking up, he saw that is was Isabel dressed like Slade but with an open part to the bottom of her mask.

"You killed me," Isabel said drawing her twin swords from her back. "Let me return the favor."

SCPD HQ

"Hey." The prisoner that was brought in asked Quentin, catching his attention. "You got the time."

"It's, uh, 9:00." The IT expert next to Quentin said.

"Thanks." The prisoner replied and with his enhanced strength broke free from his handcuffs. Getting up, he grabbed the IT expert's neck and snapped it with one hand, killing him.

Moving on, Quentin drew his gun and aimed at his face. The prisoner tossed aside and took Quentin's punch. Grabbing Quentin with one hand, he then donned his Deathstroke mask with the other. Another cop jumped the soldier allowing Quentin to break free as the soldier tossed the other one aside. Grabbing a lamp as a weapon, it didn't help Quentin as the soldier threw him across the room.

Train Station

Also at 9:00, Thea unknowingly sat next to another Mirakuru soldier. Who upon noticing the time, got up and attacked an officer, after donning his mask. Breaking the cop's arm, he grabbed his gun and open fire in the air causing the crowd to panic as Thea looked on.

Felicity's Location

"Oliver, please," Felicity said to herself as her boss was not responding. Immediately her phone started ringing and she saw that it was S.T.A.R. Labs. "Cisco now is really not a good time." She said as she answered.

Sewer System

Oliver and Laurel ran through the tunnels, with several Mirakuru soldiers following them. "There," Oliver said as he and Laurel made as turn. But she then saw that they were trapped.

"Ollie there's too many of them," Laurel told him. "We can't fight."

As the soldier's gathered in front of them, Oliver revealed his plan. "We're not going to." He told Laurel, as he drew an explosive arrow from his quiver and fired it at the weakened structure above them causing it to collapse on both the vigilantes and the Mirakuru soldiers.

Elsewhere, Slade's remaining forces marched on Star City prepared to wreak havoc.
