Okay, I got some bosses for this chapter. Also, I like to take a long break on Fridays to take some time to relax and think about how somethings will work. I have also been playing more Bloodstained, this time its Curse of the Moon. I'm going to get Curse of the Moon 2 once I have enough money. I know it costs around 15 bucks on the Nintendo E-Shop (due to Tax so don't believe the price you see). Now let's get started and hope you guys and girls will like the bosses I have for this.
The group enters a new room that had marble all over the walls, ceilings, and floors. There were even a few statues that look like...angels?
"Um, is anyone else confuse here?" Danny asked.
"Well, Alucard did say that the castle takes on different forms." Vampirella reminds them.
"Are you going alright, Damn?" Leo asked the Demon.
Everyone knew those holy things were bad against Demons as they were opposite of each other and seeing Angel like statues must be hard for him.
"I'm fine. The statues don't bother me. Maybe their not actually angel statues." Damn said.
Danny looks at the statues and sighs. He might not be in a holy religion but he does know a few things about them. But it was strange to see these types of statues. Maybe Dracula was close to God at some point? Danny sighs again and turns away. He was about to walk away when something stabs right through him. He looks down and notices a spear coming out of his chest. He looks up and saw the others were shocked by what happened. Danny looks behind him and saw a knight with a long spear that was stabbing him. He spits up some ectoplasm before the knight lifts him and threw him across the room.
"Danny!" Slimy shouted and rush over to him.
The others turn and saw more Spear Knights appear and got ready to fight. Slimy reach Danny who was holding the spot that the spear went through and trying to stay awake.
"Are you alright?" Slimy asked worriedly.
"Just trying to stay awake. If I pass out, I turn back into my human form. I need to stay in this form to heal." Danny said.
"What happens if you got back to your human form?" Slimy asked.
"With a wound like this? There is a good chance I might not heal from this at all." Danny said.
Slimy gasp and quickly place her pink slime on the spot to help heal him and keep him awake.
Leo dodges a spear before grabbing the Spear Knight and threw it into another. He felt a spear stab into him and turn around and punch the Knight away. He took the spear out of him and was glad it wasn't sliver. He turns and threw the Spear into another Knight.
Vampirella grabs a spear before tossing the Knight over her and to a wall that broke on contact. She was upset to see Danny hurt and she was going to make the Knights pay. She might not be able to drink their blood, but she knew plenty of ways to show her rage. She plows her fist through another knight and turns to see another thrust its spear at her. She moves the knight that was still on her fist and blocks it. She then threw the knight to the side and kick off the head.
Witcha wasn't even using her wand. Her hands glow in both light and dark magic that tear apart many knights. She notices another knight get behind her and threw her right hand that the knight. The magic surrounds it and she closes her hand, crushing it.
Damn dodge a spear before taking to the air and took a deep breath. He then breathes fire from his mouth melting the Spear Knights. He quickly flew back as a spear nearly hit him from below. He drove at the Knight and slam it into the ground. He then stood up as the others clear out the rest of the Spear Knights.
Slimy helps Danny up as her slime hardens to help the healing even more. Vampirella and Witcha both rush up to see if he was okay.
"Danny, are you okay?!" The Girls asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, thanks to my ghost powers and Slimy," Danny said.
"Glad to head that, it would be bad if we lost our Leader," Leo said.
"Leader?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, you have been coming up with the plans, the moves to take down our enemies, and is the one that inspired us to be ourselves," Damn said.
"I'm just doing what I can to make sure we don't die," Danny said.
"You can't kill a vampire, witch, werewolf, slime, and a demon that easy," Leo said.
"I bet the same could be said about ghosts too," Vampirella added.
"Yeah," Danny said.
"Oh and there one more thing you did that makes you a leader," Damn spoke up.
"What's that?" Danny asked.
"You give us our group name. Monster Heroes." Damn said.
"Um...I...well..." Danny tried to say but could see no one wanting to disagree and sighs.
"Okay. Just make sure you all back me up? I might not be good at this whole leader thing." He said.
"Count on it!" They all said.
The group walks down the area some more and Danny notices that the pink slime was started to break off. Slimy mentions that it does that when its job is done. Danny nodded and they enter another room and was attacked by more Spear Knights. This time, Danny was ready and fire his ectoblasts to take them down. The others made their attacks and remove the Spear Knights.
It didn't take them long, through the spears were a bit of a pain to deal with. They move on before Witcha turns to Danny.
"Hey, Danny. You said you go to school right? What's it's like?" She asked.
"Well, it okay I guess. There another reason why I'm a C-Student. The school as this group calls the A-Listers that think they run the school. They are people that a rich and always have good grades. But they're not good people. Remember I told you about Paulina? She part of that group. I'm not. While Danny "Phantom" is well known and the talk on the group, Danny "Fenton" is a loser." Danny said.
"And they don't know, right?" Damn asked.
"Yeah, But the one person I hate the most is Dash. He picks on me whenever he gets a chance. From stuffing me into my locker to just going to beat me up for failing a test. He more annoying then the ghosts I deal with. Believe me, there were many times I wanted to bash Dash's head in, but I don't want to go that far in cause I become him." Danny said.
"Why did you tell your teachers?" Witcha asked.
"Oh geez why did I think of that?" Danny scoffs, confusing her.
"Trust me, we did tell them, and what happens? They are ignored! Whenever they win a game or something else important, they are let off easy! As for the others, they are treated as if we are the ones that break the rules. The only time A-Lister gets caught is if a Teacher catches them and even still they are let out early. Casper Hight is a good school, but the teachers are not good ones. At least I can count on Mr. Lancer for any help I need." Danny said.
Witcha grew angry at that. Bad enough that her whole school treats her like she was just a little girl with a foolish dream but Danny was treated as if his human half wasn't imported. Damn shook his head, it was sounding like no one cares about the well beings of others. They just listened to ones with Money. Leo growls and scoffs at the idea of the teachers not doing their jobs. Vampirella and Slimy were also mad and wanted to head to that school and treat them a lesson.
Danny sighs and looks at the ceiling to gets his thoughts a bit.
"But it really doesn't end there. I have to deal with Plasmius and his stupid plans." Danny said.
"Plasmius?" Slimy asked.
"Vlad Plasmius, better known as Vlad Masters, a halfa like me. Vlad got his powers during his college days when he was friends with my dad. However, Vlad was also in love with my mom and when he got hit from the energy from the smaller portal that they made at the time, he was hospitalized and they end up getting married. Vlad blame my dad for ruining his chance and sworn to remove my Dad so he can have my mom to himself. What the Frootloop doesn't understand is that my mom loves my dad and she doesn't see anything out of him. But Vlad is still trying to. He's even trying to get me to join him but I won't. No matter what." Danny said.
"So this isn't the first time your parents try to mess with the dead?" Damn said.
"Well, you got to understand Damn, we barely understand life after death. Even though my parents passed off all ghosts as evil." Danny told him.
"That I do understand, but it's the way of life. Death is not the end, its a new beginning. It's your actions that are judge when you were alive that puts you in the afterlife. Since your soul is off-limits to all Demons, your soul will be lead to a good life when you become a full ghost." Damn said.
Danny blinks, he knew that Damn said that his soul was off-limits but have a good life towards after his death? That sounds too good to be true.
"Um, Damn? I don't think Danny should get a pass." Leo spoke up.
Damn looks at the Werewolf confuse.
"If any other soul would see Danny pass without being judge, then they might try to do the same. It could cases problems with the afterlife and I'm sure that the last thing anyone wants." Leo said.
Danny thought about it and could see Leo point. If Danny gets a pass, then it could make other souls try to get one too.
"I agree with Leo, Damn. I better be judge like the rest. There are some choices I made that I'm not proud of." Danny said.
Damn nodded, he had forgotten the one rule that must be followed, everyone is judge when their lives come to an end. Danny was no different.
"Of course, forgive me. I was so sure that Danny would be fine in the afterlife that I overlook the rule that everyone must be judge when they enter the afterlife." Damn said.
"What about my parents?" Danny asked.
"I have to speak to my boss about that," Damn said.
Danny looks away. He knew that Damn was just doing his job but he couldn't help by to worry about his parents getting a really big punishment when Damn speaks to his boss.
"Danny, your parents will be fine. My boss would never take them from you. He's not heartless like most people think Demons are." Damn said, decide to ease his fears a little.
"Good to know. Me and Jazz aren't ready to live by ourselves yet." Danny said.
"Who Jazz?" Vampirella asked, trying not to get upset over another girl's name.
"My older sister. Her full name is Jasmine but everyone calls her Jazz." Danny said, making Vampirella clam down.
"Wow, you got a sister? Is she a half ghost like you?" Slimy asked.
"No, she full human. She learns about my secret some time ago and decides to want until I told her about it. She even covers for me whenever I go out to stop ghosts. She a bit overprotected and annoying, but she's got my back and I'm glad for that. She's a really great sister and I couldn't ask for a better one." Danny said smiling.
"Sounds like a really good person if you hold her in high regard," Damn said.
"Well, we have our moments when we don't get along at times, but that what siblings do. We care about each other and understand that we just have to be ourselves, but that doesn't mean we can't worry about each other." Danny said.
"Sound like a good sister. I like to meet her one day." Leo said.
"Um, well, that might be a problem. I know she'll have no problem with Vampirella and Witcha due to looking human, but you guys, she might freak out a little." Danny said.
"Why's that?" Slimy asked confused.
"Slimy, we are not human. Nor can we make ourselves look human." Leo told the slime.
"And your human-like body doesn't count." Damn quickly spoke up.
"Wait you can't make yourself human?" Danny asked.
"No, I was born as a werewolf. A born werewolf is different then bitten werewolf. Those that are bitten can turn back to human at any time but just by looking at the moon, they can turn back into a werewolf. A born Werewolf is a werewolf from start. But there was a werewolf that was born human and somehow turn himself into a werewolf without being bitten. No one knows who he is, only that he was the first werewolf in the world." Leo said.
"Demons were never humans. But I did hear of tales of some demons able to make themselves look human, but most of them were just causing trouble. I never learn and truthfully, I like my real form better." Damn said.
Danny nodded and open another door to see a big room and someone standing in the middle with their backs facing them. Danny still knew who it was though.
"Sam? I thought Alucard lead you and Tucker out of the castle?" He said.
"He did. But I met someone who understands me. She agrees to help me. All I had to do was join her." Sam said keeping her back facing them.
Vampirella could see something was wrong and steps forward.
"So Sam, did you get your blood already?" She asked.
"Yes, it tastes like copper but it was good." Sam answer.
"Yes, human blood does taste like that. But that not what I meant and I wasn't asking you." Vampirella said.
Sam turns around and flashes a smile, showing her new fangs.
"Smart. Just like my lord wife." Sam said but her voice wasn't her own.
"Who are you and why are you using small as a meat puppet?" Damn asked.
"So, all six of you are here. Very well, I'm Carmilla and this girl has joined my cause." Carmilla said through Sam's mouth.
"Sam?" Danny said surprise.
"Here, let me bring her out," Carmilla said and her voice went quiet.
Sam blinks and looks around a bit before seeing the others.
"Oh, so you all made it. Mistress must have used me as a puppet again." She said.
"Mistress?!" Danny asked shock.
"So, she was turned into a vampire," Vampirella said, knowing this might be hard for Danny.
"Yes, and I always did say I was a creature of the night. And as much as I want to talk, I did come for someone." Sam said and rushes pass Vampirella and stop in front of Danny, shocking him.
"Join me, Danny. We can rule this castle together." She said and goes to bit his neck.
Danny quickly snaps out of his shock and pushes her head back and jump back as well.
"Two things, one, no way! I don't want to rule anything! I'm a hero Sam! And two, don't try to bit me! My ghost blood is poison to vampires! If you so much taste a drop of ectoplasm, then you will die!" Danny said, having a hard time believing that the girl was Sam.
Sam looked surprised and started to think.
"Well, your ghost blood is, but not your human blood." She said and rush up and land a powerful blow that knocks Danny into the wall behind him.
Danny was knock out and turn back into his human form. Sam smiles but was caught by surprise when Vampirella rushes over and punches her in the cheek knocking her away. The rest of the group got in between Sam and Danny and knew this wasn't the Sam they meet before.
"So you really plan on standing in my way?" Sam asked them.
"This isn't you! You would never try to hurt Danny! Nor try to turn him into a vampire." Slimy said.
"And you are the one that gave Danny is ghost powers!" Damn added.
Sam stood ready but heard Carmilla's voice appear in her head.
"Sam, return to me. Let's our soldiers deal with them. You have another chance." She said.
"Yes, mistress," Sam said and step back into the shadows and somehow disappear.
Everyone looks confused before turning to Danny and rushes up to him.
"Wow, so this is what he likes like as a human?" Slimy asked.
"Yeah, he looks just as cute as his ghost form," Witcha said blushing a bit.
"Danny? Hey Danny!" Leo said and lightly shook him.
Danny groans and opens his eyes. He notices all his new friends look at him and shook his head.
"Ugh, what happened? Wait where's Sam?" Danny said once everything caught up to him.
He quickly shot his hand to his neck and felt for the marks but Vampirella reaches up and grabs it.
"She didn't bite you. We stop her before she had a chance." She said.
Danny sighs and notices his hand was normal. He looks up worried about what the others would think. But they smile at him.
"Don't worry Danny, we are not going to treat you differently. Your human form really doesn't change much, besides your hair and eyes." Damn said.
Vampirella helps him up before they all heard something land in the room with them. They all turn and saw a spear-wielding enemy resembling a skeletal pterosaur. Along with a gargoyle-like enemy next to it. Everyone stood ready as Vampirella turns to Danny.
"Are you able to fight?" She asked him.
"Yeah, just give me a second. I'm going ghost!" He said and turn into his ghost form.
"Is that a battle cry?" Leo asked.
"Yeah, what wrong with that?" Danny asked.
"Nothing," Leo said.
Everyone stood ready as the gargoyle flew into the air. The strange bird-like creature charge at them and everyone dodge, but Danny was hit by a fireball that knocks him into the wall again. He shook his head and notices the gargoyle dive at him and took the air making it crash into the wall.
Vampirella dodges the spear and grabs it. She tries to pull it away but it held on tight. It pulls back and her along with it. Vampirella quickly let go and land on her feet and threw an uppercut that knocks it away.
Damn saw the Gargoyle charge at him and caught it. The two started to push each other before Damn threw it behind him making it crash into the other wall.
Leo dodges the spear and got close before slashing it with his claws. The bird-like creature let out a cry of pain, before trying to stab him once again with this with its break. Leo dodges and punches it away.
Witcha sat on her broom as the gargoyle follow her. Witcha looks back and smirks. She threw a magic ball that was full of light and once it burst in front of it, the gargoyle screeches as it covers its eyes. Not seeing Witcha turn around and flew back towards it with her other hand cover in her dark magic and land a powerful punch to its mid-selection. It was sent flying back into the same wall it was thrown into by Damn.
Slimy really didn't have to dodge the spear. She let it stab her as she rushes up to the Bird Creature. She then forms a huge fist and hardens it. She threw a punch that it tries to block but was knockback and its spear broke.
The two land side by side and seem to look at each other. Everyone watches as the gargoyle grab the bird creatures by the shoulders and lift into the air.
"Okay, that's new," Danny said.
"Seems like these two know how to work together," Leo spoke up.
"Then let's beat them on their own game!" Danny said.
"Damn, Witcha! Take your partner." He said.
Witcha had no problem with carrying Vampirella on her broom and Damn was able to lift Leo. Danny looks at Slimy and they nodded. Soon, the fly stood to the air holding on to their friends. They flew up and threw the non-flyers at the bird creature. Vampirella, Leo, and Slimy all punch the bird creature that knocks it free from the gargoyle and towards the ground. They follow after it and threw another punch as they slam into it.
Vampirella, Leo, and Slimy all stood up as they pull their fists out of the bloody body of the bird-like creature. Vampirella licks the blood on her hand and smirks.
"Nice." She said and lick it clean.
Leo just shook the blood off his hand as Slimy let the blood slide off her hand as she un-harden it. The gargoyle look surprise that its partner was taken down so easily. It then turns and saw a beam of ectoplasm, hellfire, and light and dark magic coming at it. It had no time to dodge as the beam cover it and burn it away.
The group reforms and smiles.
"Chalk up another win for the Monster Heroes!" Slimy cheer.
"These fights are getting easier," Vampirella said.
"But for how much longer?" Leo asked.
"He's right. So far we have been taking down monsters left and right, but there's usually there another one that much more powerful and it has a better chance of taking us down." Damn said.
"Yeah, the Golem, Medusa, Subbucus, and Shaft were pretty tough to beat," Witcha said.
"We shouldn't get cocky," Danny said.
Everyone turns to him and Danny sighs.
"There been many times I got so cocky in my fights that I overlooked what my enemies are planning. We might be winning fights but we can't let it go to our heads." He explains.
Everyone nods getting what he getting at. They decide to keep moving not noticing someone was watching them.
Carmilla growls, she thought that by using two of her lord strongest minions, they were rid of those pests. But the plan backfires on her big time.
"I do not take pleasure of you using Slogra and Gaibon for your little plan." Death said.
Carmilla didn't look at him and growls at the Monster Heroes.
"Well, it's my turn," Cornell said and stood up before grabbing a hammer.
"And how are you going to beat them?" Carmilla asked the werewolf.
"Beat them? No, I'm going to have fun with them. If they refuse to join us, then I'll KILL them." Cornell said and walk out of the room.
Death just watches before looking back at the Monster Heroes. He looks at Danny and could see the guilt of all the life he has taken and how his friend was turned into a vampire.
"There more to you then it appears." Death said to himself.
Finally! I'm done with this chapter. Due to the fact that it the weekend, I like to take a break from writing. However, this time was different. I was having a hard time focusing on this chapter, but I was able to get it done today. Up next is Leo Vs. Cornell and Leo will get his monster form. Danny might be a C-Student, but I'm sure there are times that he takes notices about some of the things that happen to him. Like how cocky he can get at times. Okay, I started to run out of places for Dracula Castle but Dragonrule did give me a place to where the group can fight Cornell and Yes, I'm going to add in the Clock Tower and those god damn Medusa heads. But that during Death Chapters. The Toy Maker will appear in Carmilla Chapters. And Sam will be cure, they just have to find it first.
