Three years later...

London, England...

"They say if you want to glimpse the future, just look behind you. I used to think that was bollocks." Deckard said "But now I realize you can't outrun the past."

He was looking at the city from the window of his brother's hospital room. When he had enough he walked over to his coma brothers' bed.

"When we were kids, you'd start fights with the toughest bastards in the yard. But I was the one who had to step in and finish them. Rest now, little brother, while I settle your one last score and bring them back." He said

He walked out of the room but not before talking to the nurse and doctor that were cowaring by the corner.

"You take care of my brother. Anything happens to him, I'll come by looking for you." He said before leaving.

The hospital was a wreck as he had to fight his way in before and killed all the men that were guarding his brother. When he reached the lobby floor he took a dead guard's grenade as one guard was still alive. He gave it to him before pushing him away, letting it explode and he headed towards his car before driving off.

"Laura O'Connor, get back here missy."

A burnet little girl with braids and wearing a blue jean dress was running around the second floor. She was laughing as her daddy chased after her but kept missing her. It was time for school and she didn't want to leave just yet. Kagome (who was cooking breakfast ) looked up from what she heard with a smile. So when she finished cooking the last pancake, she turned off the stove, cleaned her hands and went upstairs to end it. At the end of the steps she caught Laura that tried to run pass her.

"Giving daddy, his work out sweety." Kagome laughed

"Yes." Laura smiled

Leonard sighed when he walked over towards them and kissed Kagome before they headed downstairs to eat.

"Man, she's fast." He said

Kagome laughed after placing Laura in her chair.

"Imagine what she'll be like when she's driving." She said as she fixed their daughters plate.

"If she does, you turned her girly." Leonard chuckled

Kagome playfully slapped his shoulder, making both Leonard and Laura laugh.

"Eat you two, we have to meet up at Aunt Mia's house. It's our turn to carpool." She smiled

After they were done eating they got Laura ready and headed out to the garage. It only took 20 minutes to arrive at their old house and they saw Brian getting Jack ready.

"How is he doing?" Kagome asked Leonard

"He misses the action. He's trying to hide it from Mia but...I think she knows." Leonard said and sighed "It'll take some time. Any news from Letty?"

Kagome shook her head no.

After what happened at Race Wars, Letty left to try and remember who she is. They were all worried for her but they knew she needed to do this.

Brain picked up Jack and walked him over to their car. Leonard pressed the car button to automatically open the slide door.

"Uncle Leo, Aunty Gome." Jack smiled

"Hey buddy." Leonard smirked

"Here we go." Brian said as he placed Jack in his carseat. "Watch your head."

"Kagome, a package came for Laura!" Mia said "Dom you too."

Kagome raised a brow before getting out of the car.

"That's weird, who is it from." She said picking up the small package that was on top of the big one.

"It's from Tokyo. Could be from your mom or Han." Mia said

"Tokyo? What? Is Han trying to convert me over to a turbocharger?" Dom joked

"They're not bad. Souta's even trying it." Kagome said

"There goes one member of the family." Dom joked

"Shut up." Kagome laughed

"I still can't believe you and Leonard got a minivan too." Dom smirked as they watched the O'Conner brothers interacting with their kids.

"Well we need a family car, as we are still trying. And I got it so Leonard would stop taunting Brian about his." Kagome smiled

Dom chuckled and shook his head.

"Things have changed." He said

"At least Leonard is adapting. Brian...is struggling." Mia said "He doesn't want me to see it, but the white picket fence is like an anchor on him. I can tell." The three walked down the steps. "I tried to talk to him the other night. And you know what he said? He doesn't miss the girls, he doesn't miss the cars. He misses the bullets."

"Let him settle in. Give him time." Dom said

"How does nine months sound?" Mia asked

Kagome gasps with a smile as she has sensed faith pulse inside her.

"I'm having another baby." Mia smiled

"And you didn't tell him, did you?" Dom asked

"You gotta tell him, Mia." Kagome said

Mia looked over at her husband and son with a sad smile.

"I don't want him to be disappointed with his life. With me." She said

"He will never be disappointed with you." Dom said "You're the best thing that's ever happened to him."

Mia smiled and pulled them in a group hug.

"Thank you." She whispered

She pulled away before walking over to the car to say good-bye to Jack while Kagome opened the package. At the same time Dom's phone started to ring. Inside the package was a plush Hello Kitty with a name tag that said FOR LAURA and a letter inside.

For my darling niece, Laura.

See you and your mother soon.

From: Uncle Deckard

Kagome's eyes widened in fear as her body was struck with fear.

Dom answered his phone. "Yeah?"

"Dominic Toretto." Deckard's voice said "You don't know me. You're about to. Tell Kagome that I said hi."

Dom looked at his phone and saw that the call was coming from Tokyo, Japan. He looked at the package and the timing went off.

"Get down!" He yelled

Leonard and Brian looked back with wide eyes as they saw the package exploded. Brain pushed Mia inside the car before closing the door and shielding it from the impact while Dom tackled Kagome to the ground. The explosion blew up the whole house. When it was over Kagome quickly ran to the car to get Laura and Leonard and see if they were alright. Brain got up and opened the door as he quickly hugged his wife and son. Once everyone was safe and alright they all looked at the house. Kagome couldn't help but cry as she had feared that Deckard would return.

Everyone had headed to the hospital after the explosion. Brian had a few bruises but that was it. Kagome was just glad no one was dead. She knew that this was just a warning. If Deckard wanted them dead they would've been dead by now. Well Dom and the others yes, Laura he would never hurt, herself...she wasn't that sure. He was tough and always cold to others but he has always been kind to her back then. Back then, even with her memories gone she could sense that he had good in him. He just got mixed up with the wrong people and not to mention having a strict father and a psychopath for a brother.

After what happened, Sesshomaru and Shippo had flown to L.A and took them somewhere safe. Shippo was the one that had to break the news to them that Hans was dead. A car crashed into him and flipped him over before it exploded. Deckard was the one that killed him. When Sesshomaru heard that it was Deckard he quickly took Kimi and Souta into hiding as well, just in case. They knew what Deckard was capable of as he was the strongest of the Shaw clan. When they got them to a safe place Sesshomaru drove Dom to the Hospital when he got a call from Elena. Looks like Hobbs had a run in with Deckard himself and actually got his ass kicked before being knocked out into a coma.

"Shattered his collarbone, fractured his left in two places. He only regained consciousness this morning. The first thing he said was, "Get me Dom."" Elena said "He's in there."

Sesshomaru walked in the room but Dom stayed back to make sure that Elena was okay. She said that she was okay but he could tell that she wasn't and was worried.

"You risk your life and your limb to save the free world and this is what you're rewarded with." Sesshomaru said with a raised brow. "Back in the olden days you've gotten a feast for your sacrifice."

Hobbs laughed.

"You know, it's got its perks." Hobbs smirked "Sponge baths ain't that bad."

"Dad!"

Sesshomaru and Dom looked to the side and saw a young girl about 8 or 10 years old sitting in one of the chairs.

"I'm sorry, baby." Hobbs smiled

"Dad?" Dom asked

"Honey, I want to introduce you to somebody. They are, uh… They're old friends of mine." Hobbs said "Go on and say hello."

She was friendly to Sesshomaru but with Dom she was different and acted like her father.

"Dominic Toretto, right?" Samantha "My dad said he kicked your ass once."

"Young lady, watch your mouth." Hobbs scowled

"Your dad's on heavy pain meds." Dom smirked "I can understand if his history is a little hazy."

"I doubt it." She said

"All right, honey, that's enough. I want you to go get something to eat with Elena while me, Tashio and Toretto have a talk. You hear me?" Hobbs said

The little girl nodded and followed Elena out. Once the little girl was out of sight the three men got to business.

"Who did this?" Dom asked

"The man's name is Deckard Shaw. Older brother of Owen Shaw." Sesshomaru said

Hobbs nodded and handed Dom the files that Elena gave him.

"British Special Forces assassin. The kind of unique asset that no government would ever admit to employing." Hobb explained

"Black Ops boys." Dom stated

"Worse. They created a monster." Hobbs said

"Even his own superiors felt Shaw was a necessary evil until eventually they decided he was unnecessary. The powers that be felt that he knew just a little bit too much." Sesshomaru said "He became a liability. So they tried to kill him."

"And they missed." Dom replied

"That was six years ago, and Shaw's been a ghost ever since." Hobbs said

"Until now." Dom said

"I have heard some sight rumors of him, but he was never alone." Sesshomaru said "Kagome was with him those times when she was pregnant. And from what she told me he would babysit Laura when she was doing jobs with Owen."

"Would he hurt her?" Dom asked

"No. She means too much to his brother. Punish her maybe but not kill her." Sesshomaru said "When he finishes killing you, he will take Kagome and Laura."

"Does he know that Lauras' not Owen's kid?" Hobbs said

"Kagome believes so. Owen kept trying to get her pregnant again once we showed up in London." Sesshomaru said

"How do I find him?" Dom asked

"The official answer is, you don't." Hobbs said

"He killed Hans. He almost killed my family." Dom glared

"He also tried to put me in a body bag, too." Hobbs glared "Which is why when I get out, I'm gonna put a hurt on him so bad he's gonna wish his mama had kept her legs closed. But until then, my official answer to you is stand down."

"Now, you know I can't do that." Dom said

"Which is why now I give you the brother-to-brother answers. You do whatever it is you gotta do. When you find that son of a bitch, just do me one favor." Hobbs replied

"What's that?" Dom asked

"Don't miss." Hobbs said

With Sesshomaru's jet Dom went to Tokyo to get Hans' remains. When he came back to the states Han's funeral was arranged. Roman, Tej, Brian, Roy, Leonard and Shippo all came to help out. Kagome wanted to join but Dom and Sesshomaru said it was best for her and Laura to stay hidden with Mia and Jack. But she had to do something. Hoping to stop Deckard by reasoning with him, Shippo had given her a phone that couldn't be tracked and dial a number. She wasn't sure if this was a good idea but she had to try and save her family.

"Hello, Kagome. I knew you would call soon." Deckard said

"Deckard, why are you doing this?" She asked

"Don't ask questions that you already know the answer to." He said

"I am begging you, please, stop this. What happened to Owen is his own fault." She said "I know deep down inside, you're a good person. I've seen it. You don't have to do this."

"He's my brother, Kagome. He may be a twit but he is my family and I need to avenged him. I'm trying to track you down but it seems that that fox boy of yours has blocked you." He said "You wouldn't mind being a dear and just tell me where you are?"

"Why? So you can kill me too?" She asked

"No, I've actually grown very fond of you and still do. You mean so much to my brother. Yes, what he did was stupid for doing those things but he truly does lover you." He said "You became part of our family. I just want to bring you and Laura back home. To your true family."

"This is our family, Deckard. Don't make me choose between you and them...because it will be them." She said

It was quiet for a few seconds but she knew what she said must have hurt him. She did care for him like an older brother but they were her family.

"I'll see you around, Kagome." He said before hanging up.

Kagome shoulders slumped as she closed her eyes in defeat. Even in a coma state Owen still had some strange control over his older brother.

At the funeral Deckard showed himself and Dom went after him. They had a little chase before playing a game of chicken and crashed into each other. Surprisingly they survived it and were able to get out of the wreckages of their cars.

"You never should have messed with a man's family." Deckard glared as he shut the car door.

"I told your brother the same thing." Dom glared and looked at the mans' car. "Reinforced your chassis. It's like going into a ring with weighted gloves."

"Your mistake. I'm not here to play games." Deckard said "See, you and me, we're from different worlds. Trust me, I've seen a lot meaner streets than the ones you're used to." Deckard said "

"Stick around. It's gonna get a lot meaner." Dom glared

He held up a sledgehammer but Deckard quickly took his gun out. He was just like his brother, he rather used guns then actually fist to fist.

"You thought this was gonna be a street fight?" Deckard scoffed

He was about to shoot Dom until someone started shooting at him. Deckard started shooting back as four men dressed in S.W.A.T gear came down the roof and continued shooting until he ran off. When he was out of sight the S.W.A.T men aimed their guns at Dom and surrounded him.

"On the ground." The men said

"Now." Another man said

One got too close and took him down but used him as a shield. They were about to shoot him until one guy in a fancy suit and shades stopped them.

"Whoa, whoa. Easy, guys. We're on the same team here." The man said "Mr. Toretto, I'm here on the recommendation of a mutual friend of ours. Mr. Hobbs."

"Who the hell are you?" Dom asked

"Me? I'm just a guy." The man said "I'm Mr. Nobody.

"It's a big entrance for a nobody." Dom said before glaring. "And the guy that put our mutual friend in the hospital? You just let him get away."

"I think I might have just saved your ass there, Dom." Mr. Nobody smirked after taking off his shades. "Listen, you think you could let go of my guy there? He's beginning to turn a little blue."

After a second of thinking it over Dom let the S.W.A.T guy go.

"I appreciate that." Mr. Nobody said

Sirens were heard.

"Ah, here they come." He sighed "Listen Dom. There's a war going on between shadows and ghosts like me. You and your team unwittingly walked into the middle of it in London, and it appears it's now followed you home. It's up to you." He puts his shades back on. "I'm gonna have a beer. You're welcome to join me." Then he walks away. "By the way, I can get you Deckard Shaw."

He signal his men to leave and headed to the armed Hummer.
