Angela's Bedroom
"You're dad and i need to talk to you." Brooke said. As she walked further into the room.
"Without being on you're phone or the computer. We need you're full attention." Lucas said. Shutting the door behind himself.
"What is there to talk about.? The last time i spoke with mom she made it clear that our conversation would remain private. Yet the both of you are here which means you know all about it."
"I should of known better then to trust you and be honest about how i felt." Angela said. Looking to her mother a hurt expression went across her face.
"I know what i said. But you're father had every right to know. You are acting off of pure emotion and not thinking clearly. Jumping into having a physical relationship with someone especially this young is not something we support. Sex is more then just a physical act." Brooke said.
"You're mom is right with everything she's saying. There are emotional and mental aspects to taking that step with someone that you won't fully grasp until you're older. We love you and want nothing more then for you to be happy and fulfilled. You are capable of so much. The last thing we want is for anyone or anything to hold you back." Lucas said.
"I appreciate and understand you're concern and want to protect me. But it isn't needed. Austin is an amazing guy. He loves me. Just as much as i love him. There is no reason for either of you to be worried. I know what i'm doing." Angela replied.
Brooke took a deep breath and took ahold of Angela's hand in hers. Locking eyes with her daughter.
"I was 14 the first time i had sex with an older boy i was involved with. Back then i thought it was what i had to do. To keep him. To make sure he loved me back. I didn't have my parents to turn too for advice or comfort when things blew apart when he got bored of me and started dating someone else."
"I'm not saying you don't know yourself and that it isn't possible for you to be in love because it is. But for now until you're a few years older. The only thing you and Austin need to be is friends. If he truly cares for you he'll understand that and wait."
"In the future when and if you're ready to take that step. Then i hope you will come to me so it can happen safely and with someone you love. Because when it happens that way. It's a beautiful life changing experience." Brooke said.
"I hear what you're saying and i know what i have to do." Angela replied.
