Santana woke up, feeling the bed move. She rolled over and smiled, seeing Brett standing up, stretching.

"Morning…" She smiled, "What time is it?"

"Morning." He replied with a grin, "A little after 5."

Santana nodded and checked her phone. She turned off the alarm that was scheduled to go off soon before rolling back over to see him pulling on a pair of boxers.

She looked at his face and frowned, "You look exhausted."

Brett chuckled, nodding, "I didn't get much sleep."

Santana sat up, "Why?"

He sat down on the bed, "I'm kinda concerned about Finn."

She tilted her head, waiting for him to continue.

Brett rubbed his jaw, "I grabbed a bottle of water a few hours ago and Emily sort of…hit on me…kind of."

Santana raised her brow, "Excuse me?"

Brett swallowed, "I didn't flirt back."

"What did she do?"

"I uh…I sorta only had on boxers when I went to grab a water. She didn't say anything in particular. It was more…the way she uh…she looked at me."

Santana clenched her jaw, "I will cut a bitch."

He sighed, "I'm going to talk to Finn today. I don't know if they're…"

"I'll go talk to her now." Santana said about to stand up.

Brett reached over, pulling her onto his lap. "Baby." He said calmly, cupping her jaw.

She sighed, feeling calmer in his arms but still upset.

Brett kissed her jaw, "I love you." He muttered against her skin.

She pressed her forehead against his, "I love you too." She said quietly.

He nodded slightly with their foreheads still pressed together, "I'm going to talk to Finn today. I'm going to see what's going on with them. He's my best friend and I don't want him to get hurt by this girl." He said quietly, "You…" he muttered, meeting her eyes, "have absolutely nothing to worry about. I love you and only you." He said, nudging her nose with his.

She smiled slightly, "I trust you, Brett. I just don't trust…her." She said with a little edge in her voice.

Brett nodded and kissed her lips softly.

She kissed him back, gently scratching the back of his neck. She pulled back and sighed, "I noticed her looking at you yesterday, but I had hoped it was just…" She shrugged, "I don't know…my imagination, I guess. She's…she's so pretty and I just…"

Brett shook his head and kissed her lips softly, "If we had time right now, I'd show you just how little you have to worry." He smirked, "But since you have to go to work soon, you'll just have to believe me when I say that you are seriously a billion times more beautiful than her." He muttered, "You gotta know that's true." He added, needing her to know he was telling the truth.

She smiled and kissed his lips, not knowing how else to respond to his words.

He squeezed her bare thigh and pulled back, "Believe me, I want to stay in bed and do this, but you need to get ready for work." He said quietly.

She nodded, "We're meeting your mom at noon, right?"

"Yeah. Do you want to come back here or meet up at your place before lunch?"

"I brought some clothes for lunch, so I'll just come back here after work." She said, nudging his nose with her own. "I should be back by 11."

"Okay.'' He said.

She sighed and kissed him once more before getting up.

They both got dressed and headed out to the kitchen. Santana pulled on her shoes while Brett made some toast.

"I need to run to the grocery today." Brett said.

"I can go with you this afternoon." Santana replied, walking over to him.

Brett smiled, "Okay." He said before they heard Finn's bedroom door open.

Finn walked into the kitchen in boxers and a t-shirt, "Morning." He mumbled, grabbing a bottle of water.

"Hey…where's Emily?" Brett asked, glancing at Santana.

"She's asleep." Finn said before taking large drink of his water as he sat at the bar.

Santana clenched her jaw, hating that she was about to leave and wouldn't be able to confront Emily. She took a deep breath before feeling Brett's lips on her cheek.

She smiled and turned her head, kissing his lips.

He pulled back and winked at her before glancing at the time on the stove.

"It's almost 6, Babe." He said quietly.

Santana nodded, "Okay. I need to get going. I'll be back in a few hours."

Brett nodded, glancing at Finn before kissing her cheek, "I love you."

She smiled, "I love you too." She whispered before grabbing her purse, "Bye Finn."

"Bye Santana." He smiled.

She left and Finn turned to Brett, "You guys are great together."

Brett chuckled, "Thanks…" he cleared his throat, "So what's the deal with you and Emily?"

Finn shrugged, "I don't know. She's cool."

Brett licked his bottom lip thoughtfully, "Dude, listen. She's kinda been…flirting with me a bit…"

Finn furrowed his brow, "In what way?"

Brett sighed and took a sip of his own water, "She hasn't said anything but it's the way she looks at me…"

Finn nodded, knowing Brett wouldn't lie, "Well…I mean I like her but it's not anything serious."

"She needs to stop otherwise we're going to end up seeing Santana attack her." Brett muttered with a slight smirk.

Finn raised his brow, "Santana is small, but I get the feeling she could kick Emily's ass."

The shorter man chuckled, "I get that feeling too but I'd rather not find out."

"I'll talk to her when she wakes up." Finn said.

Brett sighed, "Sorry, man."

Finn shook his head, shrugging, "It's whatever."

Brett and Finn were playing video games when Emily walked out of Finn's room around 9am.

"Hey guys." She smiled,

"Hey" Finn said.

"I gotta take a shower." Brett muttered, pausing the game as he stood up.

He nodded to Finn and walked to his bedroom.

As he closed his door her head Finn say, "Can we talk?" to Emily.

After he showered, Brett pulled on some clothes and walked out to the living room where Finn was relaxing, watching television alone.

He looked around but didn't see Emily anywhere, "Hey man." He muttered, sitting in the recliner.

Finn sighed, "Hey."

"What happened?"

Finn shrugged, "She likes you." He muttered taking a sip of his water, "To quote her…'I like you, Finn but Brett is more my type'."

Brett sighed, "I'm sorry, brother."

The taller man shook his head, "It's fine. I told her there was no way you'd leave Santana."

Brett nodded, "Good."

"Man…to sound like a total douche…she was amazing in bed." Finn groaned, rubbing his face, "I mean…for real."

Brett chuckled, "Well, what are you going to do?"

Finn shrugged, "No clue."

"What happened with Quinn and Sam?" Brett asked.

"They propositioned me." Finn smirked, "I told them I'd think about it."

"What's there to think about?" Brett smirked.

Finn laughed, "It's just…I've had a threesome before, but it was with two girls…" He explained, "I just don't know how to fuck a girl while she's fucking another dude."

Brett nodded, "I get the feeling that you'll figure it out. I know you and I know you have a massive crush on Quinn."

Finn nodded, "I really do. I mean I know she loves Sam and I'd never try to mess with that, but I would love to sleep with her. And boy, she's knows it." He muttered.

"What do you mean?" Brett asked.

Finn blushed slightly, "She smirks at me and touches me any chance she gets."

"Just have the fucking threesome, Dude." Brett said. "It'd get your mind off Emily."

"I don't doubt that." Finn chuckled.

There was a knock on the door and Brett got up to answer it.

Emily bit her bottom lip nervously, "Can I talk to Finn?"

Brett turned his head, "Finn, it's for you."

Finn walked to the door and sighed, "Hey."

Brett went to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. He could hear them talking but couldn't quite make out with they were saying.

He was surprised when her heard Finn say, "Hey Santana."

A moment later Santana walked into the kitchen, looking at Brett, "What's that about?"

Brett grabbed her hand and pulled her to his room, shutting the door behind them.

"I talked to Finn after you left, and he talked to her…"

"Okay…why'd you drag me in here?" Santana asked.

"Because if I told you everything out there, I get the feeling that you'd say something to her." He replied.

"Everything? Meaning what?" She asked, crossing her arms.

Brett sighed, "She told him that she likes him but that I'm more her type…"

Santana clenched her jaw, "I swear, Brett if she tries…"

Brett cut her off by kissing her lips.

She was taken off guard for a moment before kissing him back as she cupped his jaw.

He smiled and pulled back to glance at the clock, "We have some time…" he muttered.

She looked at him with a smirk, "Brett, Finn's probably going to need to talk to you after she leaves…"

Brett frowned making her smile and kiss his lips.

"Besides, I'd like to take a shower before I meet your mom."

Brett sighed and nodded, "Okay. I'll go talk to Finn while you shower."

Santana smiled, "You're a good friend."

Brett huffed and turned to open the door. Santana smiled and cupped his jaw, pulling him into a deep, searing kiss.

He hummed and gripped her hips, pulling her against him.

She moaned and pulled back, leaving one last peck on his lips, "Go be a good friend and I promise there will be more of that later." She smirked.

Brett swallowed, nodding dumbly as he turned to leave the room. He gripped the doorknob and took a breath, hoping his boner would resolve itself soon before opening the door.

She smirked, loving the effect she had on him.

Brett walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. He could hear the television and walked over to the couch where Finn was sitting.

"What happened?" Brett asked, sitting in the recliner.

Finn groaned, "She said she still wants to at least be friends with me…well us." He muttered, glancing at the other man.

"I don't see that working out." Brett said quietly.

"That's what I told her, and she said that she really thinks we're all cool people. She said that she'd hate for it to be awkward for us to be neighbors." Finn replied.

Brett nodded, "She seems cool but I'm not risking my relationship to be her friend."

"I know." Finn sighed with a shrug.

They sat in silence for a few minutes till Finn said, "We gotta go grocery shopping."

"San is going to the grocery with me after we have lunch with Mom." Brett replied.

"Cool," Finn nodded, "Let me give you some cash…" He said grabbing his wallet from his back pocket. He handed Brett some money before asking, "Nervous about Santana meeting your Mom?"

Brett smirked, "Not really. I mean…maybe slightly but only because I really want them to get along."

"I think they will." Finn said, "They're both really likable."

Brett nodded, "Yeah. You know…we're having dinner with Kitty and her girlfriend on Saturday…at my father's house…"

Finn raised his brow, "Really? You're going to introduce her to John?"

Brett groaned, "I guess so. You think it's a bad idea?"

Finn tilted his head, "Well I mean…he is married to one of your ex-girlfriends…"

Brett huffed, nodding, "I haven't told San that yet."

"Dude, you need to." Finn said.

"I'll tell her today." Brett sighed.

They continued to talk till Santana came out of Brett's bedroom, wearing dark jeans and light blue, button up blouse.

Brett smiled, "You look beautiful, Baby."

She smiled back, "Thank you." She said, feeling more anxious by the second.

Finn nodded, "You guys are matching but Santana looks way better than you."

Brett was wearing jeans and blue plaid button up shirt.

Santana smiled as Brett nodded in agreement.

Finn looked at the time, "So where are you guys eating?"

"Carmines." Brett replied.

"Times Square or Broadway?" Finn asked.

"Times Square" Brett replied,

"That's some good eatin." Finn smirked.

Brett nodded, glancing at the time, "We should get going. We'll be back later with groceries."

Finn nodded, "Cool. Thank you both."

Brett and Santana grabbed their coats and headed out of the apartment.

"Okay wait." Santana said, taking a breath once they got out of the cab.

Brett turned to her, "You okay?"

She nodded, licking her lips, "I'm about to meet your mother. I'm a little nervous."

Brett smiled lovingly at her and leaned down, kissing her lips.

She kissed him back, smiling.

He pulled back, "I love you…so she'll love you." He said smiling, "Mom is really laid back so just be yourself."

Santana smiled, "Okay." She nodded as they started to walk towards the restaurant, "Oh and Brett…" she said, squeezing his hand.

"Yeah Baby?" He asked, meeting her eyes.

"I love you too." She said quietly, smiling at him.

He grinned and held the door open for her.

They walked and Brett saw his mother sitting a table, drinking water.

They snuck past the hostess, walking straight to the table.

"Mom." Brett grinned.

Laura Pierce looked up and smiled, "Hey Sweetie!" She said, standing up to hug her son.

He let go of Santana's hand and hugged the blonde woman back. He pulled back, smiling, "Mom, this is Santana Lopez…my girlfriend." He said before turning to Santana, "Baby, this Laura Pierce…my mom."

Santana smiled and held her hand out, shaking Laura's hand.

Laura beamed and squeezed the Latina's hand, "It is so nice to meet you, Santana."

Santana smiled, "You too. Ms. Pierce."

"Oh! Please call me Laura."

Santana nodded, "Laura." She said with a smile.

"Let's sit." Laura said, smiling.

Santana and Brett sat next to each other, across from Laura.

Their waiter walked over and took their drink and appetizer order.

"So you two met through Kitty, right?" Laura asked.

Brett nodded, "Yeah. San is a model and when I came into town for Kit's show, I met her." He said, squeezing Santana's hand under the table.

Laura nodded, "How long have you been modeling, Sweetheart?" She asked the Latina.

"Since I was about 6." Santana replied.

"Wow, so you're an old pro by now." Laura said, smiling kindly.

Santana laughed, "Basically. You know, Brett's never told me what you do…"

Laura smirked at her son, "You mean you don't talk about me?"

Brett laughed and turned to his girlfriend, "Mom is a soap maker."

"Really?" Santana asked, surprised, "Do you have your own company?"

Laura smiled, "I do. It's called Fine Suds."

"That is really cool." Santana smiled.

"What do your parents do?" Laura asked.

"Oh my father works for a tech company and my mother is a psychiatrist." Santana replied as they waiter brought over their drinks and appetizer.

He took their main dish order before walking away.

"Ladies, excuse me for just a minute." Brett said, kissing Santana on the cheek before getting and walking to the restroom.

Santana took a sip of her drink before saying, "Brett told that you love wine. He's tried to teach me a little about it."

Laura smiled, "I am a big wine fanatic. I'm glad that some of what I've taught him stuck. Especially since he is such a beer and whiskey boy." She smirked.

Santana laughed, nodding, "He does like whiskey and beer."

"Oh definitely." Laura laughed, "He got that from his grandfather. My dad used to have a beer every day when he got off work and a whiskey every evening before bed. What's your drink of choice?"

"Usually an Old Fashioned." Santana said.

Laura looked impressed, nodding, "A good Old Fashioned can fix just about anything." She smirked.

Santana smiled, nodding as Brett walked back over and sat down.

He raised his brow at their smiles, "What'd I miss?"

"We're just talking about alcohol." Laura smirked.

Brett chuckled, "Something we're all fans of."

Santana smiled when she felt him grab her hand under the table.

When they finished their meal, they ordered dessert.

"Excuse me. I'll be right back." Santana said, getting up to go to the restroom,

Brett looked at his smirking mother and blushed slightly, "What?"

"Brett, honey…you're in love." Laura said, smiling.

Brett scratched the back of his neck before nodding, "Yeah…I am."

She beamed, "I like her a lot. I don't think I've ever seen you like this before."

"Like what?" Brett asked.

Laura looked thoughtful, "Well when you were engaged to Rachel, you were happy but with Santana…you're…whole."

Brett smiled, nodding, "Yeah" he said quietly.

"Have you met her family?"

"I met one of her brothers and his wife and daughter." He replied, "I'm going to meet her parents and other brother on Sunday." He cleared his throat, "And uh. Kit and I are having dinner with Ashley and San at Dad's on Saturday…"

Laura raised her brow, "Oh okay…"

"I wanted you to meet her before he did." Brett said quickly.

His mother smiled, "That was sweet of you, honey,"

He nodded, "Well I'm only going to dinner because Kitty asked me to. I hate that guy."

Laura reached over and grabbed her son's hand, "Honey, he cheated on me not you and Kitty."

Brett shook his head, "Doesn't matter." He muttered, squeezing her hand.

She nodded, knowing her son well, "I know you're worried about him meeting Santana after what happened with Anne."

"She and I weren't together." Brett mumbled before taking a sip of his drink.

"I know but you still cared about her and then your father…" She said quietly, shaking her head, feeling bad for Brett.

Brett sighed, "That was a long time ago, Mom."

Laura squeezed his hand, "But it still not right. I know that won't happen with Santana. I don't know her well, but I can tell she loves you."

Brett nodded as his mother let go of his hand.

Santana walked over and sat back in her seat as the waiter brought over their desserts.

"I'm surprised that you didn't get cheesecake." Santana said quietly as the waiter walked away.

"I love tiramisu." Brett grinned taking a bite of his dessert.

She smiled, "Me too, but Brett it's cheesecake." She said with a smirk.

Brett grinned, "I know, Babe. Maybe I can have a bite of yours…"

Santana shook her head, smirking, "I don't think so, Mr. Pierce."

"Oh come on." He said, reaching his fork near her piece of cheesecake.

"Brett, I really don't want to hurt you." She smirked.

Laura smiled, watching their bantering.

Brett stuck out his bottom lip, looking at his girlfriend.

Santana smiled, "Okay fine. One bite."

He grinned and kissed her cheek.

Santana blushed, glancing at Laura.

Laura smiled, "You two make a good couple."

Brett nodded, "I agree."

Santana smiled.

After they finished dessert, Brett paid for the meal and the three of them pulled on their coats.

"I am so glad that I got to meet you, Santana." Laura said, hugging the Latina.

Santana smiled, "Me too."

"I want to see more of both of you, got it?" The blonde woman smirked, looking at Brett pointedly.

"Okay Mom." He nodded, leaning down to hug her, "I love you."

"I love you too, honey." She said, kissing his cheek.

Brett hailed a cab for his mother and opened the back door for her, "I'll talk to you soon, Mom."

"Okay. Bye Santana." She smiled, "Bye Sweetie."

Brett shut the cab's back door before it headed down the street.

He turned to Santana, biting his bottom lip.

She smiled, "I really like your mom."

He grinned and leaned down, kissing her lips softly, "She likes you too." He said, pulling back.

"I'm glad." She smiled before noticing a look in his eyes. She cupped his jaw, looking up at him, "You okay?"

He swallowed, "You know how I told you that my dad is married to a woman that's basically Kitty's age?"

She nodded, "Yeah." She said, pulling her hand back as they began to walk down the sidewalk.

Brett sighed, "She's an ex-girlfriend of mine."

Santana furrowed her brow, "Wait…your father married your ex-girlfriend?"

Brett nodded, "Yeah."

"I'm so sorry, Baby."

Brett nodded again, "It's not like she dumped me for him. I mean they got married like 6 years ago and she and I dated in high school…"

"Still." Santana sighed, "I can't imagine what that must feel like."

Brett shrugged, "I don't really care anymore but I wanted you to know before we have dinner with them."

She nodded, "Okay. You're not…" She paused mid-sentence and stopped walking.

Brett furrowed his brow, "What?"

"Are you worried that I'm going to be like her and be interested in him?" She asked.

Brett shook his head, "No." he muttered.

"Brett…" She said, hearing the tone of insecurity in his voice. She turned to him, "You have absolutely nothing to worry about."

He smiled, "I know, Baby. I just…" He sighed, "I can't fucking stand him."

"I know." She said quietly as she rubbed her hands together for warmth.

"Baby, you're freezing. Let's take a cab to the grocery," Brett said, hailing a cab.

She smiled, relieved because she really was cold.

They got back to Brett's apartment with bags of groceries.

"Thank you for your help." Brett muttered, kissing her cheek while they put everything away.

She smiled, putting a case of beer in the fridge, "You're welcome."

They put all of the food up before going to Brett's room.

"Do you want to stay the night again?" He asked as he changed into sweatpants.

She bit her bottom lip, nodding, "Yeah."

"Do you work tomorrow?" He asked as he unbuttoned his plaid shirt.

"I have a showing that I have to go to…" She muttered.

Brett suddenly remembered that Artie's show was the next day.

He nodded but didn't reply as he pulled the shirt off.

Santana bit her bottom lip and walked over, wrapping her arms around his wait from behind. She kissed his bare shoulder, "It's the last show with Artie."

Brett turned to face her, nodding, "And Sebastian…" he muttered.

She nodded, cupping his jaw, "Are you worried?"

He sighed, "Not about you…" he replied quietly, "But I don't like or trust either of them though."

"I love you." She said, knowing there wasn't much she could say to ease his mind.

"I love you too, Santana." He said.

"Sam and Quinn will be there…if that helps." She said.

"It does." Brett muttered.

She rubbed her thumb along his cheek, looking into his eyes.

Brett bent his head and softly kissed her lips. He pulled back, feeling his phone buzz in his pocket. He sighed and kissed her forehead before pulling the phone out.

"Hello?" He answered.

"You home?" Finn asked, "I'm locked out."

Brett nodded, "I'll be right there." He said before hanging up, "I'll be right back." He told Santana before walking out of his bedroom.

He opened the front door, letting Finn inside.

"Where were you?" Brett asked.

Finn groaned, "Over at Emily's…"

Brett raised his brow as Finn shut the front door.

"I know." Finn sighed, reading Brett's mind, "I needed to smoke. We just hung out in her living room."

Brett nodded, "You good?"

"Yeah…let's hang out tomorrow night…unless you have plans with Santana."

"Nah. She's got plans tomorrow night. We can go to a bar or something." Brett said.

Finn nodded, "Cool. Where is Santana?"

"In my room." Brett replied, "I should get back in there…"

"Go." Finn grinned, "Spend time with your girl."

Brett grinned, patting Finn's shoulder before going back to his room.

Santana was pulling on one of Brett's t-shirts when he walked in. He shut the door and walked over to her.

"I love seeing you in my clothes." He said, wrapping his arms around her from behind.

She smiled, feeling him kiss her neck, "I love wearing your clothes." She replied.

"You know what else I love…" He smirked against her skin.

"Hm?" She hummed as he placed sweet, gentle kisses to her neck.

"Taking you out of my clothes." He muttered, reaching down to pull his shirt off of her.

She smirked, letting him pull the shirt off before she turned around to face him.

He pulled her into a kiss, making her moan as she pressed her hands to his bare chest, sliding them up to his jaw.

Brett lifted her up by the back of her thighs, deepening the kiss as she wrapped her legs round his waist.

He laid her down on the bed without breaking the kiss. He reached down and undid her jeans, tugging them down her legs.

Santana's phone started to ring on the bed, but she just shook her head and continued to kiss him.

He smiled against her lips and deepened the kiss before groaning when her phone went off again.

She pulled back and pecked his lips once more, "Give me two seconds." She whispered, grabbing her phone.

"Shit…" she whispered, "It's my dad…"

Brett nodded and sat on the edge of the bed while she answered.

"Hello?" She answered, glancing at her boyfriend.

Brett's phone began to buzz in his pocket, and he pulled it out, seeing a text message.

He opened it and sighed.

Jessica – I found your shirt from that night at the beach. Want me to send it to you?

Brett – Just throw it away.

He replied before setting his phone on the bed.

"Okay. Yeah we'll see you guys on Sunday." Santana said, "Yes." She smirked, glancing at Brett. "I'm bringing him."

Brett looked over at her with a small smile.

"Okay. I love you guys too. Bye." She said as Brett's phone buzzed.

He sighed and grabbed it, looking at the screen.

Jessica – Brett, it's a really nice shirt… Let me mail it to you.

He rubbed his jaw before replying.

Brett – Don't worry about it. Just throw it away.

"What's wrong?" Santana asked, sitting up.

Brett handed her his phone so she could read the messages.

She rolled her eyes, "I'll buy you a new shirt." She muttered before kissing him deeply.

Brett smiled into the kiss and kissed her back, ignoring his phone going off.
