SUNSHINE

Azula, her wife, and her daughter strode down the Ember Island boardwalk on a dazzlingly sunny day. It was the perfect weather to go to the boardwalk. Sunshine like no other.

"Mother, please, please, please win stuffed animals for me and mama!" begged Anka vivaciously.

"Of course I will." Azula flipped her hair and smirked confidently. "It is my duty as an extremely talented mother and wife."

Anka beamed and grabbed onto Azula's arm happily.

Azula picked up pace and her family followed her to the nearest boardwalk game.

It should be easy. She expected it to be easy.

She was wrong.

And Azula did not like to lose. She never could handle it in her life.

Ty Lee touched Azula's shoulder at the end of her tenth loss, carefully avoiding her smoking hands.

"Maybe we should try another game," said Ty Lee nervously. Anka poured from below, bored to tears and ready to whine. Ty Lee glared at the stall vendor. "I'm guessing it's rigged or you would've won on your first try."

"I agree," said Azula coolly, before turning to the vendor. She seized him by the shirt and pulled him forward. "Give my wife and my daughter the finest stuffed toys you have or I will burn down this stall with you in it."

She shoved him backwards and threateningly lit one finger with blue flame.

With sweaty, shaking hands, he grabbed two of the gigantic plushes and handed them to Ty Lee and Anka.

The family walked away towards the sunshine.

Ty Lee took her stuffed tiger-monkey and, with its lips, planted a fake kiss on Azula's cheek.

The princess smirked triumphantly and took Anka's hand in hers.
