Jacob and I were helping Alice decorate the house for the party tomorrow.

"God, I am so done!" I groaned bringing up hands to my hip. I had asked Alice if she need help only out of sheer formality, but she'd dumped me with a shitload of work. Jacob walked towards me grinning from ear to ear. "Why are you smiling?"

He held a mistletoe above our heads and cocked his eyebrows cheekily. I rolled my eyes but pulled him down by the collar of his green and red Christmas sweater for a kiss. He took me by my waist and walked forward till we were in the corner of the room, away from Emmett's prying eyes and hoots.

"Merry Christmas Eve, babe," he said and I blushed.

"Merry Christmas Eve, Jake."

It was December, my favourite part of the year. Mostly because we had our winter vacation. I looked out my window. The sky was dark with only the dim yet shining moon and the grey clouds floating their way about. I could perfectly see the snowflakes falling down and sticking to the ground. The snowman, Jake and I had built yesterday, stood their majestically like he was the king of Christmas. The day was perfect. But, this year, today, I was much more excited as this was the first Christmas Jake and I were going to spend as a couple. I stood in front of the mirror with a towel wrapped around my body and dried my hair. I blinked, standing in front of closet, which was newly arranged some three days ago by Alice and Rosalie, figuring out what to wear. Alice had told us that everyone must wear only the clothes that screamed 'Red' or 'White'.

I found a plain white full sleeved sweater and a red pencil fit skirt that went up to my thighs and got black leggings and boots to go with the outfit. I changed into the clothes and pulled my hair into a French twist and left a few stray curls hanging down my face. I put on my usual make up and danced my way out to the living room, where I found Jake sitting on the couch, waiting impatiently for me.

"You take a lot of time to get ready," he complained.

I smirked at him. "I am a girl, dude!"

"By the way, you look extremely gorgeous."

I smiled mischievously and sat on his lap, wrapping my hands around his neck. "You don't look bad yourself. What is with the dress shirts, anyway?" He was wearing a maroon dress shirt and black trousers. He had not tucked them in, though. His collar button and the one below was unbuttoned. I mean, dress shirts were the last thing anyone could see Jake wear.

"Shortie," he mumbled and sighed.

"You look handsome," I said, running my hands through his hair. Jacob smiled and pressed his lips against mine. I heard Dad growl and giggled. Jake broke the kiss, our noses nuzzled together and my eyes were closed.

"Merry Christmas, Renesmee," he said and I smiled. Even though I loved the nickname Jacob had given for me, it sent shivers down my spine when he called me by my full name.

"Merry Christmas, Chief," I said and kissed him. I heard Mom clearing her throat and we broke apart, sensing her standing in front of us.

"I won't have it in my couch," she said and immediately smiled. "Merry Christmas, both of you."

"Happy Christmas, Momma," I said and smiled at her.

Jake hugged her, pressing his face to her stomach. "Happy Christmas, Bells!"

Mom laughed and kissed Jake on the top of his head. She wore a black full sleeved turtleneck and red skirt reaching up to her knees. Dad came and wished us Merry Christmas.

"Shall we go?" Mom asked and we nodded.

We found my family, the pack and the girls in our living room, which was now decorated with tiny golden lights, a tall perfect Christmas tree at the corner with all the gifts below it and red and green balloons that danced at every place. Soft music played in the background, adding to the magic of today. We greeted everyone a very happy Christmas. The room was filled with love and laughter and goodness bursting out of every corner. But, I stood there, nervously tapping my legs, because today was the first time I would be meeting Rebecca, Rachel's twin and Jake's elder sister. I was never used to rejection and this made me much more nervous. "What if she doesn't like me?" I wondered and for the umpteenth time Jake assured me, "It is fine. I am sure she will definitely love you."

He took me by my arms and walked with me to Rebecca who was standing with Sam and Emily. She was the exact replica of Rachel (Of course she'd be. They are twins.). She had long black straight hair and coal black eyes, just like Jacob's.

"Rebecca!" Jake smiled excitedly and pulled her into a hug.

"My little one," she giggled and kissed his cheek.

"Rebecca, this is Renesmee. Renesmee, Rebecca."

"Finally," she let out a huge sigh. "I meet you." I blushed in nervousness. "Oh, look at you. Blushing and all."

I smiled at her. "It is nice to meet you, Rebecca," I said barely audible.

She smiled gently and hugged me. "Jacob never shuts up about you when he's on the phone with me. His conversations always began with "Nessie and I", "Nessie did that" and all. He'd be blabbering on how beautiful you were, blah, blah, blah. And I guess everything is true."

I blushed bright red. "Oh," was all I managed to say.

"Stop it, Bec. You are embarrassing the both of us," Jake whined and she laughed.

"Hey, you look great together," she said and looked at Jake. "Never let her go. Understand?"

"I never will," he said and kissed my hair. He never could, I thought and put that thought on Jake's head too. He bit his lips, fighting a laughter.

I couldn't get any more words out of my stupid mouth anymore and thank heavens, she ended the conversation saying that she'll see me later.

"That went well?" I asked sheepishly.

"Yeah, I guess."

"Is there anybody else in your family I need to please?" I asked sarcastically and Jake grinned.

"Yes, there is."

"Who is that?" I whined and he chuckled.

"Me."

I laughed softly and punched him on the stomach. "Mutt."

"Alright, present time!" Carlisle clapped his hands and everyone gathered around the couch.

"Who wants to open first?" Alice sang as she sat beside Jasper.

"The youngest, of course," Carlisle chuckled and I frowned, picking up my presents from under the tree.

Carlisle and Esme had brought me a necklace- diamond and ruby. Rosalie and Emmett gave me a hair comb which belonged to her mother's and said that they have added some emeralds to it. Alice and Jasper said that they had stocked my closet with flip flops and shoes and sandals and boots. Mom and Dad gave me an iPhone 6S. I had saved Jake's for the last and looked at him before opening it. He nodded and I smiled. I opened the present and smiled again.

"Wow! It is pretty, Jake."

"The present is inside, silly," he chuckled. "Like mother, like daughter."

Mom and I grinned sheepishly. I opened the small bag and found a beautiful chain which had a small wolf charm hanging down from it. I looked at Jake with my eyes full of tears.

"You like it?" he asked, expectedly.

"Like it? Fool. I love it!" I exclaimed and hugged him tight. "Thank you so much. Did you make this?"

"Yes, I did."

"Will you help me put it on?"

He smiled my favourite smile. "Of course, I will."

"I made a bracelet like this for Bella as her graduation present and Edward added a diamond charm to it," he said.

"I still wear it, Jake. It is my favourite. I am lucky because I have two best guys in my life who love me to death," she said and Dad kissed her, while Jake blew her a kiss.

"You wouldn't add anything to this, will you?" Jake asked Dad, a bit sarcastic but mostly pleading.

"No, I will not," Dad laughed and he smiled.

Everyone else opened their gifts. Jake got clothes from my family and he was very grateful for that. I couldn't help but laugh when he got a pink sweater from Alice.

"Are you out of your freaking mind, Shortie?"

"What is wrong with pink?" she argued.

"It isn't about the pink, idiot. It is about the 'sweater'."

Her eyes widened and she grinned sheepishly. "Oh, I am sorry. Nessie has one like this. So I thought you'd like this," she said and I knew that this was enough to shut him up.

Jake opened my present at the end and smiled ear to ear. "Wow. Nessie, this is huge!"

I had given him a scrapbook filled with pictures right from the time when I was born till the last picture we took together. It had pictures of when he was young, his mother, his family, the pack, my family and even Jacob as a wolf.

"I knew you would love it!" I exclaimed proudly and he kissed my cheeks.

I gave Seth a t-shirt which read 'Best Wolf Buddy' and he whispered to me that he would be careful not to phase when he wears it. I gave Embry a mix tape containing songs of the Beattles because, he was crazy about them. I gave Claire a huge teddy bear which was about her size because she had said to me that she wanted one and she even named the teddy as 'Peaches'. I had made three copies of the t-shirt which read 'Wolf Girl' and gave one to Ina and one to Zoe- one was for me, of course. Embry and Seth seemed much happier at that than Zoe and Ina. I gave Quil the 'Harry Potter' series- I swear that guy was head over heels for Hermoine Granger.

Everyone ate dinner and I stayed a good few miles away from the food. But, Jake made me ate the dessert because it tasted like 'little drops of heaven'. This was something he'd say to all the food he liked the most. I was surprised that even I liked it and grinned at him.

"Look like someone loves pineapple cake," he teased me and I rolled my eyes. "You want more?"
"Sure."

We took two pieces of pineapple cake and settled down at the terrace.

"So peaceful," I said and he nodded in agreement. I ate the cake and he sat silently, lost in deep thought. "Whatcha thinking about?"

"Huh?" he shook his head. "Nothing."

"Spit it out already."

"Nah. I was just thinking about Sam's thought. I have seen Emily throw a tantrum last night during patrol and it is terrifying. I was just wondering, um, if you could try to control your mood swings when, um…," he was red by the time he said half the words and I burst out laughing.

"Oh, my God! You are such a baby. Why would you even bother about that?"

"Nah. It is just that it is horrifying to hear Sam's thoughts."
"We can't help it, Jakey. I mean, after all, you are the ones getting us pregnant in the first place," I giggled and he gulped down the throat.

"You know what," he said, getting up. "Let us just adopt."

I giggled and smacked his head. "I love you, Jake."

"I love you too."

I leaned in closer and stood on my toes to kiss him. Instantly, he wrapped his arms around me and carried me, making my feet dangling in the air. With the cold weather and all that, when his hands slipped under my shirt, by my waist, I giggled, breaking the kiss.

"It tickles, Jacob," I laughed. He joined me and set my foot on the ground. I hugged him tight not wanting to let him go and buried my face on his chest. "You smell good, by the way. Did anyone tell you that?"

He chuckled. "You are the first."

"I am so lucky," I mumbled to myself and rested my head on his chest taking a whiff of his sweet musky wolf scent.
