Chapter 20

***Mashiro Piero Realm***

(Tsukasa's pov)

We stayed in the safe house until Tadase handle a good handle on the events that were going on. He was able to questions without accusing me and in return he answered my questions.

"Ojii-san, thank you for helping me overcome Deava. I have one question that you are having a hard time answering, but I really need to know onegai" he asked me. "Where is the prince of Darkness. At first, Deava was looking for him, but after a while, he stopped. Did he find his son?

I sadly looked at Tadase and told that in order to answer his question, I would have to finish the story I began when you were a child. The kingdom of Theodora and the Aka-Ryuu family.

"Well, as you know, the King and Queen had a daughter. Her name was Amu Aka-Ryuu. She was a beautiful princess with pink hair and golden eyes. She could make anyone smile by just looking at her. She was betrothed to a prince whose name was Ikuto. But this did not bode well in some countries for there was another royal family that wanted the kingdom as their own. They also had a son. The King of this realm was dark and cruel. He wanted his son to marry the princess so that he could take over the rest of the realms with their army."

"Now, the King and Queen of Theodora would not break the engagement to Prince Ikuto, King Deava (who was later called Dark-sama) attacked the realm and killed everyone. What this cruel and mean king did not know was that this was all foretold in a prophesy. The kingdom had to be destroyed and he had to come to power before he could be defeated" I said

"It was written, so it had to be" he explained to me. "Now, you want to hear what the prophesy said? When Darkness seems to cover all, that is when HE will fall. The one who wields all the power is the one who will save us all in that hour. This means that the one who is capable of controlling all the elements will be the one to save us from the evil." Uncle explained to me.

"The prince is safe and sound. He is protected from his father's evil and raised to help others" I said. "The prince, Tadase, is you."

Tadase's eyes rounded out and cried saying that he deserved whatever Amu intended since he came from evil. I hugged my nephew and let him cry.

After two days, I decided that Tadase was under his own control and had no intention of hurting anyone in the group. I was going to open a portal to Nagareboshi that evening and we would soon be united.

***Through the portal to Nagareboshi***

(Kissa's pov)

I felt the portal open; I knew they had finally caught up to us. We had been in Kukai's realm for a week. It was a good thing he showed up when he did, We needed to go to Fuji no Hana to see if the air orb was there if we were ever going to beat Deava.

"Tsukasa, it is good to see you. I assume that your nephew is doing better? I asked as I hugged him. "Hai, much better. He is his own person. We are going to have a difficult conversation with everyone. Go ahead and call a meeting. We need to solve this tonight." Tsukasa told me as Tadase stepped out from behind uncle.

"Gomen for my actions Kissa-san. Please forgive me" Tadase said as he bowed his head with tears in his eyes. "I forgive you young man, just don't make me regret it" I replied as I pulled him up and led him and Tsukasa to main sleeping hall.

I went into each of the rooms and told everyone to meet me in the hall. "We have a very important development and it needs to be dealt with before we head to Fuji no Hana" I told them.

When everyone sat down, I called out it was clear, then Tsukasa and Tadase walked into the room. I looked around the room and saw that everyone was tense, but not as tense as Amu and Ikuto. As I watched Amu started to cry and Ikuto held her close.

What the heck! Why is he here? Amu do not go after him without me" I thought to Amu. He will die if he is still evil. He killed my mama and papa. I thought back while my eyes filled with tears and anger.

"I know that I do not deserve your forgiveness" Tadase began, "Amu, please forgive me. At night, the dreams of what happened to your parents tormented me, but when I awoke, I could not control any of my own actions. Ojii-san told me that one of you had the ability to travel into one's mind and see if they were telling the truth. I will not block anything, and I invite whomever that person is to do so. I want you all to know that I am not a minion of Deava. I may be is blood, but my Uncle is the one who raised me. Amu, my father may have wanted me to marry you to destroy your kingdom, but I am not interested in destroying anything. Although maybe one day we can go on a date, if not that then it was never meant to me. I am truly sorry. Now which one of you will prove to everyone I am telling the truth?

(Nade's pov)

I saw Ikuto hug Amu tighter, and her blush. I don't think that Tadase had a chance on getting Amu from Ikuto.

"I am going to tell him now! He has no claim on you." Ikuto thought spoke to Amu. "No, we need to get Nade to prove that he is telling the truth. If he still pushes, we will tell them all that we are dating" Amu thought back.

"Okay Tadase" I said as I walked up to him. I put my hands on his head and told him to close his eyes as I searched. I found my way into his mind and saw all the doors open. I saw the life he had before Deava got a hold of him and then the doors turned dark and sad. I saw him crying every night in his dreams. I saw him struggling to break free from the hold of an evil man with a flowing black robe. Whenever he fell asleep, he tried to figure out ways to be free from his dark master but as soon as he woke up, he was unable to control even his pinky finger to scratch his nose. Sadly, I left his mind mansion.

I opened my eyes and told him to do the same thing. As he did, everyone saw that he started crying and begged everyone for forgiveness,

"He is telling the truth. He had no control over it, Amu. About 8 months before the attack is when Saaya tricked him. She is working for Deava and she isn't even brainwashed." I told everyone.

Kissa clapped for everyone's attention and explained that we needed to move on to the next realm. Then she looked straight at Kukai and asked what his plans were.

"I know that I am the prince of this land, but I made a promise to a sister. I also have someone else that I care about too much to leave behind. I have every intention of following through with this mission. However, when it is over, I will need to come back here. Is this agreed?" Kukai told everyone as he held onto Utau's hand. Utau's face turned red but you could see the relief in her face that he wasn't leaving her. Amu smiled let go of Ikuto and gave Kukai a hug telling thank you for not leaving us and walked back over to Ikuto.

"Then it is settled, Tsukasa, Tadase, I know realm jumping is hard on the body, but we leave in the morning after breakfast for Fuji no Hana. Get some rest" then she left to her room pointing Tsukasa and Tadase to a room at her left.

(Amu's pov)

"You know, every time I hug someone, or someone says they want to date me doesn't mean I'm leaving you." I thought to Ikuto. "I know, I just hate to think that you might leave me" Ikuto told me. "Please don't let anything happen to us" Ikuto said out loud. "Please"

"I have no intention of letting anything happen, thank you for helping me Ikuto" I responded back.

What neither of them knew was that even though he was tired, Tsukasa wanted to find out where they were in their relationship. He grinned happily and started back to his room walked in the door and went to bed.

(Kukai's pov)

I told my parent the night before that I would be finishing the mission with Amu then return. I said that maybe Utau would have been comfortable enough to know that I was her betrothed and that we would get married here on a beach with the ocean full of water. But I had to help Amu. She was a sister and you don't let down family. Blood or not. They did not like it, but they accepted it. I guess that was perfect timing since we had to leave in the morning.

*In the morning*

After we ate, we all gathered in the throne room, gave hugs to the king and queen and entered the portal to Fuji no Hana.

***Fuji no Hana realm***

(Tsukasa's pov)

As we entered into the twin's realm, it was full of Wisteria and cherry blossom trees. They looked around. They had trees lining the courtyard and around the border of properties of everyone. I knew this realm would be interesting. They may not have both their parents alive anymore but neither did Amu. These twins had more in common with the group than they chose to think about.

"Hai, hai everyone, follow me to the Queen of Fuji no Hana." I said happily.

As we all walked into the throne room a woman with long purple hair stood up and ran down the to give them a hug. She was crying, thankful to see her children after 16 years. "My children are here" she cried. When she was done, she looked around the rest of the group and smiled. "Please come in to my kingdom. Tsukasa, thank you for allowing them to visit. I assume you are after the final orb?"

"We are" I told her.

"Later today, Amu, you look so much like your mother, will need to go searching. As you know, you will need to feel it out and good luck sweetie. Your parents would be proud of you and the woman you have become" she told Amu.

(Amu's pov)

After a long talk with the Queen, everyone went off in exploration while Ikuto and I searched for the orb. The sooner we had them all the sooner we could relax and have fun. After searching for more that 2 hours, we came upon an opening in the side of the mountain and travelled inside.

At the back of the cave, we saw the air dragon and knew this was not going to be easy. We both walked up to the dragon and asked what was needed to obtain the orb securely placed in his chest.
