Chapter 12: Wish granted

Another month passed inside the Great Valley after Saphir joined the group of seven to live inside until Light comes again to let him returns in his world, he passed each day with Ruby or her parents and have learned everything that Fast Runners do, today an event is going to happen… and like last time it's happening in the Mysterious Beyond again.

The same cliff from the last time is behind the female weird thing named Sky, she was a genius of her time, she was much shorter than her friends and she was thirteen year old along with his three friends, like the last time with the others she was here to fight the evil that threat his world along with the others but when Him launch a powerful spell toward them she sees Saphir placing himself in front of them, one second after Saphir is placed in front of it to protect his friends she also sees Aqua placing himself just in the left of Saphir which surprises her because Aqua was the kind of guy to think before acting, she guesses that he wanted to save his friends but now two of them are going to die, suddenly she got an idea and place herself in the right of Saphir and look at the spell coming toward them, before the spell hits them Sky uses all of her magic to form an invisible barrier to protect them, however the spell is too powerful and breaks the barrier, knock them off the cliff and they start to fall toward the water bellow, when Him said disappear he said that to kill them, however because of the barrier Sky created before the spells affects them some magic of the barrier has been sucked inside of it and change it to make a new effect on their bodies.

When she falls into the water she loses consciousness immediately upon entering the water, her body then falls from the sky and fall inside a big rock that was know as Black Rock, fortunately for her she enters by a passage similar to a slide so the damage on her body was not as hard as it could have been if she had fallen on the rock without a way to slow down, an hour after she fell inside Black Rock she starts to regain consciousness, when she wakes up she turns her head slightly to the right and to the left to see where she was but she doesn't recognize anything around her, there were multiple ways in front of her but also on her right and on her left so she didn't know which way to take before she got an idea, she leans her head inside one way to feel if there's a breeze and does the same with the others until she felled one, when she find it she follow the way leading to the exit.

Sky feels like there's something strange with her body, she was going to see what it was until she notice a pond near her when she enter a room where the way she choose let her, she decide to check herself with the reflection of the water to see more than with her eyes if she looks down now, when she sees her refection she couldn't believe what she was seeing, her entire body has change radically, her skin was like a reptile, her hands has been changed to wings with three little claws placed above the wings in the center of them, she is also almost bald with only three hairs left that was a shade of blue less than Mama Flyer and have a crest behind her head, she is also much shorter with this new body and her body the same shade of blue as her three hairs.

Back in her world Sky always love the sky and wanted to build a machine capable of flying in the sky using magic, she made the diagrams and even made a prototype before she meet Light and joined him.

She can't think of a way to change this on her own so she thought that the only way for her to change back was to return to her world so she continues to follow the way with the breeze.

Along the way she suddenly sees something shines on the ground buried, it seems to have fallen here by a hole in the ceiling, when she digs it up and when Sky sees what she digs up from the ground she couldn't believe her eyes and said.

Sky: "The Golden Orb! A legendary artefact from my world! This orb was presumed lost since way before I was born! What does it do here from all places? I need to hide behind my right wing until I found out!"

After this find she takes two hours to find the exit of Black Rock and fortunately for her the exit she found was at the bottom of the rock, with that string of luck she begins to search for a person to help her, she walks a long time until she spot a huge creature that was none other than Doc himself near a pond, she has never such creature before but since it's the first thing she find she tried to talk to him or her to see if he or she can speak and decide what she can do after if he or she respond to her or not.

Sky: "Excuse me mister or miss? Can you understand me?"

Doc: "Of course I can Flyer why?"

Sky: "That is what I am?"

Doc: "You have wings, that means you can fly"

Sky: "I know a lot about flying but I can't fly now I've never learned"

Doc: "That is something you don't learn, it's your instinct you use"

Sky: "Easier said than done"

Doc: "It's sad to see a young teen female Flyer that can't fly, baby Flyers take one or two Bright Circle cycle to fly"

Sky: "Well thank you for what you said but do you know a place where someone can help me return to my home?"

Doc: "I know a place named the Great Valley, if someone can help you it's there"

Sky: "Can you tell me where this place is?"

Doc: "Well I was going to travel there because it's been six Cold Times that it's too dangerous here and I will be more safe inside, here ride on my back! That way you will travel faster since you can't fly"

Sky: "Thank you huh... I didn't ask your name sorry"

Doc: "The name is Doc! What's yours?"

Sky: "I'm Sky!"

Doc: "The Great Valley is still far from here but we should arrive when it's lunch time"

Doc then walks toward the Great Valley with Sky on his back, he would normally live alone but it's been six rude Cold Times because of the monsters for him so he decides that he stays alone for long enough and right now safety is all that matters now and lives with them until the monsters are leaving.

Doc takes three hours to get to the entrance of the Great Valley, when Sky sees the valley she said to Doc.

Sky: "This place is so beautiful! It's like a dream come true!"

Doc: "It's the most beautiful place I have seen in my whole life, it's such a special for dinosaurs"

Meanwhile Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, Chomper and Ruby were playing together at their usual spot until suddenly Petrie fly toward them and said.

Petrie: "Littlefoot! Me see Doc inside the valley when Petrie fly across the valley"

Littlefoot: "It's been so long since we see him, come on everyone let's greet them!"

Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, Chomper and Ruby follows Petrie until they sees Doc in the distance, they come closer to him and said.

The group of seven: "Hello Doc! We're so glad to see you again!"

Doc: "Well if it was the kids that I saw the last time I came here, you have grown much since the last time I saw you!"

Chomper: "Did you came back to be safe here?"

Doc: "Yes I came here to be safe and Sky came here to find if someone can help her return in her home"

Sky: "Hi! I'm Sky! It's nice to meet you all!"

When Petrie sees Sky, he got a feeling he never feel before but since he doesn't what it was he decides to not tell anyone about it.

Littlefoot: "I'm Littlefoot! Nice to meet you Sky!"

Cera: "I'm Cera!"

Spike: "My name is Spike!"

Petrie: "Me Petrie! Me glad to meet new Flyer!"

Ducky: "I'm Ducky! It's so nice to meet a new person yep! yep! yep!"

Ruby: "My name is Ruby! Ruby is my name!"

Chomper: "I'm Chomper the friendly Sharpteeth!"

Littlefoot: "So where is your home Sky?"

Sky: ""I know that will sound crazy to you but I was battling a powerful monster with three of my friends from there but it launch a powerful spell against three of us which make us fell from the cliff we were standing on and I lost consciousness when I felled, when I regain consciousness and look around me I didn't recognize anything and my body was changed when I see myself inside a pond"

Petrie: "What you said to Petrie remind me about what Light said to us all those Cold Times ago and like Saphir said to us one Cold Time ago!"

When Sky heard their friends name Petrie said she couldn't believe what she heard and said to him.

Sky: "Did you just say Light and Saphir? I know them because they were my friends, where they are now?"

Cera: "He didn't show himself to us since the last six Cold Times, we don't know where Light is now sorry but Saphir is with Ruby's family right now!"

Sky was sad to hear that about Light but was glad that Saphir was here so she decides to have more information and said to them.

Sky: "Can you bring to him? I need to talk to him!"

Littlefoot: "Follow us then Sky and you'll meet him quickly!"

Doc: "I will be somewhere in the valley then! It's not like I could help this time"

The group of seven walks toward the Secret Caverns with Sky, when Sky saw Saphir she runs toward him and said.

Sky: "Saphir! Thank goodness you're alive!"

Saphir: "Sky? Sky! It's you! You're here too!"

Sky and Saphir hugs each other for a minute with tears in their eyes, when he le go Saphir said to her.

Saphir "How long have you been there?"

Sky: "One day and it seems you've been here for a month from what I've heard from them!"

Saphir: "Yes I have! Do you know what happened to let us come here?"

Sky: "I think it was my fault! You see when I saw you trying to protect me and Light from the spell I knew that I have to do something to help you survive the spell so I came beside you and create an invisible barrier with all the magic that I could! I don't know if I'm right but I think it change the spell slightly and instead of killing us it brought us here somehow"

Saphir: "Wow Sky! I knew you were a genius but that is probably the smartest thing you did in your life! You basically save us from death! But what I came here a month before you I wonder?"

Sky: "Who knows? It was probably the effect of the spell if I have to guess!"

Saphir: "By the way these kids found five of the legendary Orbs!"

Sky: "You're serious?"

Saphir: "Yes I saw them with my own eyes!"

Sky: "Then go to six then because look what I found on my way here!"

Sky opens her right wing and shows the Golden Orb to Saphir and the group of seven, when they sees it Spike said.

Spike: "Yes it's one of them! This one is golden and has the shine like the others which mean that the wish has been used to!"

Sky: "Really? They got the power to grant wishes?"

Saphir: "One for each ones it seems! Where did you find it?"

Sky: "It was buried in the ground inside a huge rock that was black with many paths to get lost inside but I used my mind to find the exit!"

Petrie: "Petrie knows the place! It's Black Rock! Me and Guido were trapped there once but with help of Swooper me and Guido managed to come back here safely!"

Littlefoot: "Chrono and Stella will be glad that you brought us that! Thank you Sky!"

Sky: "I was glad I could help all of you!"

Ducky: "We'll let you make up for lost time!"

Saphir & Sky: "Bye everyone!"

The group of seven walks away from them, when they are far enough Saphir said to Sky.

Saphir: "So you've changed too it seems! You're a Flyer now! That feets you well because you always dream to fly!"

Sky: "Yes but I can't fly! I will have to let my instinct act instead of my mind if I want to be able to do it!"

Saphir: "Knowing you well, it's going to be tough but I think you could it!"

Sky: "Thank you Saphir! And you what are you supposed to be now?"

Saphir: "I'm a Fast Runner! Like the name said I'm able to run very fast!"

Sky: "Feets you very well! After all you're always full of energy!"

Saphir: "You know me too well Sky! By the way do you know what change with your new body?"

Sky: "Why do you mean by that Saphir?"

Saphir: "Well I'm still omnivore or a Halftooth like they would call it here, you on the other hand are vegetarian or a Leaf eater like they would call it here, which means you can only eat leafs, berries and fruits from the tree!"

Sky: "Well it's too bad but I will adapt until we return home! By the way do you know where Aqua is?"

Saphir: "Well he could already be there somewhere or that he has not yet appeared in this word because of your spell"

Sky: "I hope we'll see them soon!"

Saphir: "Me too Sky!"

When their conversation ended the group of seven as arrived at their parent's usual spot because they wanted to tell to Chrono, Stella and their parents what they found with the help of Sky.

Ducky: "Chrono! Stella! You're not going to believe what we found with the help of Saphir's friend!"

Chrono: "It's one of the Orbs"

Cera: "How did you know?"

Stella: "We detected the source of the orb before you came here!"

Grandpa Longneck: "So you already found six out of the seven then"

Littlefoot: "Maybe when we find them all Light will return here to let us know more!"

Grandma Longneck: "We can only hope Littlefoot!"

Another orb has been found for the group of seven, is Light closer than they thought or they will have to wait a long time? Nobody's known right now, Aqua is also closer that what Saphir & Sky think.
