Yet, we've paved ourselves a road with the bodies of our fallen comrades, might as well see it to the end. This situation must be pressing really hard on him. The rampaging titans were difficult for Jean to take in but there a far more pressing matter at hand. Mikasa was treating Eren who was still shook from the previous fight and the "awakened" state he found himself in after entering the titan realm. Annie and Armin were chatting with one another in between guiding people to safety. Pieck and Gustav, well they had the deepest, and weirdest, relationship between everyone. Even Falco was, badly, hiding his crush on Gabi and let's not even talk about Sasha's deep, very expressive and personal love for food! This was a game he was loosing and his mind recalls commander Erwin talking about his past and how he lost the women he loved in order to see the truth beyond the walls.
We're done here! There' only one stop and that's the capital. Head out! Everyone jumped on Pieck's back and went straight to the capital where the colossal titans were gathering in this enormous tree like structure. Their flesh was melting leaving only their spines behind which united forming the roots and branches. The melted flesh did not disappeared however creating a monstrous ooze from which hands started reaching out. Four meters, five meters, seven, twelve fifteen meter titans were forming inside that gelatine of malice.
It will take time until they are fully formed, maybe even a whole day. It seems it takes longer the less complete the tree is. We are the last line of defense. Here is where well make our stand. If there's anything anyone wants to say, so be it.

Make one to fit! The night passes and the group keeps the moral high. The morning woke them up with the sound of footsteps. The first batch of titans was ready to attack. The Devil titan did not appeared yet but his minions were leaving the base of the giant tree wishing to bring destruction to the world. No ceremony, no monologue about the heroism of their last stand. Few will stand for all until their lives will be spent. The warriors and the scouts charge in the middle of the titan group attacking, tearing crushing and breaking them as they rose from the mound of flesh.
Don't let one of them escape! This is the last time you'll ever gaze you eyes on titans so let this be the last memory humanity will ever have of them. Let humanity see how we rose our blades and defeated them! Erwin was shouting in the thick of the battle but titans were breaking through their ranks. Even eight titan shifters were not enough to kill all the titans leaving the base of the tree. Armin was holding on to his titan form, if he were to use it too soon it would be impossible for him to fight against the Devil titan.
Men, offer up your hearts! Charge! voices were shouting from over the hills. The military police, the garrison and the Yeagerites united to save humanity. They charged down on horses and jumped on the titans leaving the group breaking through the titan wall to aid the scouts. Soon cannons started roaring as the marleyan alliance proved trustworthy. The air ships brought gunners and cannons to the fight bombarding from afar the closest lines next to the roots of the city decreasing the number of titans the scouts had to face. All the armies of the world have gathered, it was no longer only the eldians tied together by the branches of the tree in the titan realm but all the world was tied to it. Cannons fired until their barrels got so for they curved. The scouts fought and killed even if they had to use sharp sticks to kill the titans.
The tree, the tree is breaking open! A giant eye was peering at the fight from the top of the tree.
Come Devil, come take back what you've once given us, we don't want it any more, come and take it! An enormous hand broke through the bark of the tree and a giant torso biggest than any other titan ever seen before smashes through. It had no flesh on it, only bone, an enormous sine with two sets of arms. Where the neck and head were supposed to be there was a second torso with a horned head and a second pair of arms.
Armin! The commander called out. It was time, he had to transform and bring down the head. Armin climbed up the breaking trunk of the tree dodging the pieces of bark breaking off. He climbs above the head of the titan and turns into a colossal just above it's head pushing it to the ground. The monstrous titan falls with it's one enormous hand to the ground where Gustav and Eren were waiting for it. Eren summons a giant pillar from the ground and Gustav uses a giant pike he made from the body of titans to hold the arm in place. Reiner and Annie hit at the base of the arm trying to break it while Porco and Pieck are climbing up the arm heading towards the head. Porco moves forward cutting though the bone creating ledges for Pieck to grab onto. On her back she was carrying a bomb the size of a house, if they were to detonate it close to the face of the Devil it would be so devastating the titan would die without question.
Keep her path clear! Hold the hand down! Erwin and Magath were shouting as bigger titans started throwing smaller titans toward Pieck. Gustav, Eren and Zeke started hitting them out of the sky with spears while Reiner and Annie alongside the scouts were killing the bigger titans. The Devil titan manages to push off the enormous body of Armin trying to get straight back again but just as the body of the colossal rolled over Armin appears in front of the Devil titan with a bomb. He throws it into the titan's face before jumping off to safety. The soldiers keep bombarding, the scouts and the military fight to their last. The Devil titan must die! One last hail of arrows and spears hurt the Devil titan enough to allow Pieck to drop off her bomb. She leaves her titan form, Porco grabs her and jumps off the titan's body onto the tree. The bomb goes off and the explosion is so strong even the warriors fighting on the ground are pushed back and blown away by the air. The tree starts falling and the titans born from the flesh of the colossal titans start turning to dust. Porco rushes to the ground just in time. When he touches the ground his titan lost all it's strengths and fell flat on his face. Every titan shifters leave their titan bodies with a bewildered look on their faces. Everyone falls to their knees not knowing what to say. The titans were disappearing... the walls, the titan shifters, the power, the tree the coordinates. They're gone.
We've won! A soldier says shaking. His words start echoing over the battlefield. They've defeated the Devil of all earth, they've defeated the source of titan powers. There were no more titans in the world... It was finished!
Long after the battle on Paradise island the nations gathered in the very same place to declare Eldia a free nation and stop all the hostile activities against it's people. The eldians from the internment camps were granted both marleyan and eldian citizenship and could chose to start a new life in Marley or as many of them chose to, travelled to Paradise island and start there anew. Although titans were gone Eldia now had one of the strongest economies on earth, the island itself was made out of ice burst crystal and the titan tree once it disappeared left it's mark on the island. The underground city under the capital became a growing mine of ice burst crystal. It was literally growing under the capital and it had to be mined out regularly or it would start bursting out through the roads of the city. Being the only suppliers of this incredibly rare and valuable material came with many advantages, new embassies were established, new nations were met and new deals were signed. Eldia became a nation as all others on the worlds stage and it's people started modernising. From greatest foe to one of it's closest allies, Marley and Eldia at first didn't trusted one another at all, centuries of war and resentment made sure to keep the relationships as sour as possible for the longest time, but slowly enough they started getting closer and closer. Their mutually beneficial agreements ensured both countries would prosper and people were already talking about confederating under one banner. As time passes a second exodus started, marleyans started migrating to Eldia opening up business modernising the nation and eldians started migrating to Marley working and innovating together.
Armin kept his promise and started travelling the world. He didn't had time to be lonely, too many people to meet, too many places too see, too much time to spend with his shadow. Annie did followed him preferring the solitude of the road and the quite of the foreign lands to the busy bustling cities of Eldia and Marley.
Cony returned home becoming the soldier he always wanted to be. From the fool of the village he became their hero.
Jean eventually stopped pursuing Mikasa, once he discovered a whole nation filled with Mikasas she became less... required. Eren would know something about that.
Zeke had a long life to look forward to, he decided to leave the army and pursue a medical career. For far too long has he been killing people and for far too long did he held the conviction that the only way for peace was euthanasia. He had to atone.
Reiner had a lifetime to do the very same thing, searching the world for a way to save others. In the end he reached the conclusion that the only way to make sure his sins are erased was to surround himself with people he could help and his only way of knowing how to help others was to start a crusade against injustice travelling the world fighting to topple down oppressive regimes, what the eldians suffered could never be allowed to be repeated.
Lastly, Gustav, he was the unlucky lot. He didn't managed to get his hands on a ring made from the skull of the Devil titan but an ice burst ring was enough. He kept his love for gossip starting a news journal translating and presenting news from the two nations and eventually from the whole continent. He became very greedy, the hit he suffered from losing his monopoly over the syrup was something he could never get over. With the money he made from the newspapers he bought stocks in the textile and metallurgic industries aiming to become rich. All his dreams for money shattered to the ground when his first son was born. He bought land on Paradise island and started a giant farm in order to lower the price of food in Eldia. He sought to employ as many people that lost their homes during the final battle as possible and he started a small town on the edge of the island, not too far from the sea. In that very same town the government of both Eldia and Marley decided to invest a lot wishing to create a true city belonging to both nations as a sign of peace and friendship and once again Gustav started complaining about loosing the control over the projects he started.
