Chapter 24
October 24th, 1991- Hogwarts
It was a week before Halloween, when Dumbledore first approached Harry.
"Mr. Potter, could I have a word with you in my office?" Dumbledore asked the young king.
"May I ask what this is about?" Harry asked, tilting his head to one side.
"Just about something," Dumbledore said with his grandfather personale smile.
Draco, who happens to be with Harry. "Headmaster, unless it is about school, Harry has no business talking to you" the young Malfoy heir told the old headmaster, slightly stepping in front of Harry.
"Mr. Malfoy. That is true, but I must speak to young Harry here. It concerns his father," Dumbledore lied.
Unknown to Dumbledore, a seventh year slytherin student saw the headmaster approach the two first years, headed to his head of house office.
"Professor, the headmaster has approached our two first years" The seventh year said.
"Which two students?" Snape asked, starting to stand.
"Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy" The student said.
Snape started to head to the door when the student said who is involved.
"Where are they?" he asked, starting to pull his wand out.
"Near the slytherin common" The student said.
"Okay, lets go" The potion master said. "I will inform the parents," Snape said as he whispered to the patronus 'the head master has made a move'
The teacher and the student headed to the common room. One of them sorting the dumbledore issue while the other went back and did some studying.
October 24th, 1991- Potter Library, Potter Manor
As halloween approaches, James and his two best friends spend some time researching different ways for Lord Voldemort to gain his body and his sanity back.
There is one problem with this issue. Doubting if the dark lord is the Slytheirn heir.
"What shall we do if Voldemort isn't the heir of Slytherin?" Sirius asked.
"What do you mean, padfoot?" James asked as he read over one of the books.
In the depths of the Potter Library, there are darker and more sinister books that only those with the Potter blood can access. One of the books, the one which James is currently reading, has details of rituals to bring those back to life. However, the person they wish to come back must have at least a horcrux.
"If it turns out that the dark lord isn't the heir, we just brought the darkest dark lord in history back to life" Sirius explained.
Both James and Remus stopped what they were doing and looked over at the Black lord. The grim animagus was right. What do they do if they directly start another war.
"We should have a meeting concerning the issue" Remus said. "That way, we can ask the other members for either input on the situation concerning the heir of Slytherin"
The two men nodded and Remus, being the acting king, started to write letters to his fellow court members.
While Remus was doing that, James asked Sirius a serious question.
"Do you think that Voldemort made any Horcruxes?" James asked.
"Who knows. Not much is known about the dark lord. He could have" Sirius asked. "Why do you want to know?" Sirius asked his best friend.
"There is a ritual that only a Potter can do that can bring someone back to life. However, the person that is coming back to life must have a horcrux" James explained.
Sirius thought for a moment. "Why don't we try and ask one of his servants?" Sirius said.
"Like who….. Snape" James yelled.
Before James could cast a patronus, a deer shape mist appeared in front of the man.
"James, Dumbledore made a move toward Harry," Snape said from the deer. "Comes to hogwarts immediately"
With that the patronus evaporated away.
"Shit!" James yelled. "Sirius, tell Remus where I have gone and start the meeting without me"
James was by the fireplace already thrown in the floo powder.
Sirius nodded and watched as the Potter lord vanished.
Remus walked back into the library after sending the letters off to his court mates.
"Where has James gone?" Remus asked, noticing that his other pack mate isn't in the room.
"He has to go to Hogwarts," Sirius said. "Dumbledore has made a move toward Harry"
Remus was about to say something when he noticed something. "What else did James say?"
"He said to start the meeting without him" The grim animagus said. "Shall we?"
Remus nodded and headed toward the meeting room for the meeting.
October 24, 1991: Hogwarts
Severus watched as his two first years walked toward the slytherin common room before turning toward the headmaster.
"I suggest that you keep yourself away from both Mr. Potter and Malfoy" Snape said to the aging man.
"I have concern about young Harry," Albus said. "Being the younger brother to the BWL, he sure that it is overwhelming"
Snape sneered. "That is no concern of yours, Albus" The potion master said.
Albus was about to open his mouth when snape continued. "If there is any concern about Mr. Potter then I will raise it up with his father"
With that, Snape turned around and headed toward the common room.
Albus was fuming that his pet death eater was standing up to him. What he didn't know was that James Potter was watching the whole exchange.
October 24, 1991: Gryffindor common room
Neville was nervous as he approached the three third years. He knows that as the heir of hufflepuff, he needs to protect the king.
Fred noticed the first year as he approached them. He nudged his brother and tapped his friend's shoulder. The two looked at the king consort weirdly. The twin nodded to the first year.
Lee, being the two best friend, stood up and looked over at the shy boy.
"How can we help you, little first year?" He asked.
Neville, being the nervous boy he was, started to stumble over his words.
"Calm down first then think about what you want to say" George said. Neville nodded before taking a deep breath.
"I want to let the prince consort know that I, Neville Frank longbottom, heir of the longbottom legacy and the direct heir to the founder of Hufflepuff, will let the prince and his consort use my wand and body in any and all fights. I will protect them with my life. So mote it be" Neville said with his hand over his chest.
The trio were shocked. How the hell did this boy know about Fred and Harry bond?
A/N: So sorry for this chapter being posted very late. Had this written in my notebook and because of work I didn't have time to write it on my laptop until recently.
