"Sunstreaker." Chi's voice held warning as she stepped out of her office. "You need to let the nice government official pass. We have a meeting to discuss the current state of affairs between the United Nations and the Autobots."

The yellow frontliner fixed his optics on Chi, studying her stance before he looked back down at said government official and nodded curtly. The man almost seemed to deflate before practically running into the office space to get away.

You know that I have to meet with them, even when I don't want to. Chi sighed across the bond as she gave him an apologetic smile. It's all part of my job now. And after that little stunt that the Decepticons pulled last month I'm having to repair the relationship between the Autobots and the humans.

She was referring to the Decepticons using holograms to make it appear that the Autobots had stolen resources from one of the hydroelectric plants in the UK. Not only that but they had leveled a factory before the real Autobots had been able to respond to the attack. It had unfortunately strained the truce they had.

I know little spark, but you need to rest too. Sunstreaker sent her a wave of reassurance as he turned and stalked away.

He's just looking out for you bonded. Sideswipe, who was stuck on monitor duty, added gently. You haven't been resting as much as you need to. It's staring to wear you down.

Chi sighed just before she entered her office, feeling her spark and heart warm at their words and the emotion flowing to her through the bond. She replaced her 'customer service' smile and sat across from the diplomat that had been sent to speak with her.

"Ms. Pax, it is an honor to meet with you."

"Please, call me Chi." She stated warmly as she pulled out the file she had on this specific country. "I understand that you had some concerns with how attacks are going to be handled moving forward from the incident last month?"

"Thank you, but I prefer to use your proper title." The diplomat nodded. "And yes, we are hoping to make response quicker if at all possible. The Dinorwig Hydro Power Station was the largest in our territories. Its damage will cost several million to repair and the factory was one that supplied several hospitals in the area. Its loss has cost us more than I can admit."

"I see, Mr. Hughes. I apologize for the destruction and the loss of life and supplies to continue life. I cannot put into words the sorrow the Autobots deeply feel when the Decepticons take life." Chi nodded to him solemnly. "As for response time, that will take our combined efforts to remedy. As it stands now, we must have the United States Military contact the Welsh Military and wait for them to give us clearance to enter the country in order to respond to Decepticon threats. That takes valuable time away from us being able to respond quickly and efficiently."

Mr. Hughes looked surprised after Chi finished her statement.

"I assume you did not know…" Chi ventured.

"I did not, Ms. Pax." He stood and offered her his hand. "I will take my leave and speak with those in power to change that. I was under the assumption that the Autobots were welcome to respond within any country at any given time."

"Unfortunately, that is not the case." Chi also stood and took the offered hand in a firm handshake. "Perhaps that can be remedied in the future. Just because the Autobots are based in the United States it does not mean that we are a part of their military. The Autobots are here to help the entirety of Earth."

"I also hold a seat on the Council of the United Nations Delegates." Mr. Hughes nodded. "Perhaps at the next General Assembly we can discuss a treaty with the Autobots to give them the ability to respond at any time without the need to wade through the red tape…"

"That would be extremely helpful, Mr. Hughes. If you need any help with repairs, I'm sure some of the Autobots would be willing and eager to assist you. Just send me an e-mail or feel free to call." Chi walked him to the door and held it open for him. "Thank you for meeting with me, Mr. Hughes."

"Thank you, Ms. Pax." Mr. Hughes offered her a small smile before exiting the office and heading quickly to exit the base in its entirety.

Chi sighed deeply and rubbed her temples before re-entering her office and throwing herself into the chair once the delegate was out of sight. This was the 10th day of meetings, and she was thoroughly exhausted. Between Optimus and Prowl she knew what to say and how to get those meeting with her to her side. But she did not have the patience for it, not for meeting after meeting after meeting with little to no time in between.

That's it, frag monitor duty. Sideswipe's voice filtered through her mind as she got the feeling of him shoving himself away from the monitors and motioning to Red Alert that he was out of there. You need a break.

But…

No. No arguments. This came from Sunstreaker as he left for patrol duty. Sideswipe is taking you out of that office and you're going to go relax. I'll be back from patrol here in an hour or so, and then I'll join the two of you.

I already commed Prowl, he's taking over meetings for the rest of the day. Sideswipe's holoform appeared in her doorway and walked around the desk to pick Chi up from her chair.

"We are going to go do something fun or so help me…" The red twin crowed as he threw her over his shoulder in order to carry her out of the room and place her in his waiting alt mode.

The seatbelt zipped around her as the door closed and his holoform disappeared. Before she could fully register what was happening Sideswipe was making his way through the base and outside.

We'll meet you at the fair Sunny! Sideswipe shot over the bond with giddy excitement.

That sounds like a plan, keep her safe until I get there!

"I'm not dressed for the fair!" Chi shouted and smacked Sideswipe's dash. "Seriously! I'm in a suit and heels!"

"We'll stop at the mall on the way. You were just complaining about needing new shoes, jeans, and shirts." Sideswipes holoform reappeared in the driver's seat and shot her a grin. "Two birds, one stone, right?"

Chi stared at him for a second as she failed to fight away a grin, she finally gave an amused huff and fake pouted in the passenger seat. At least until Sideswipe made it vibrate and tickle her, causing her to squeal and smack at the seat.

"Stop that!" She laughed. "Okay, okay! I give in! No more trying to fight it."

"Hey! It'll be our first actual date too!" Sideswipe laughed as he leaned over and kissed her deeply once she relaxed into the soft leather. "I can't wait!"

"Hey, sensors on the road!" Chi returned the kiss before playfully pushing him away and smiling widely. "We do need to make it there in one piece you know!"

Sideswipe grinned at her before releasing the holoform and heading towards a mall. Once Chi had retrieved the needed clothing and changed, she subspaced the suit to keep it safe before the two headed towards the fair. The first place she went to after buying the armbands for them, and one for Sunstreaker when he arrived, was to the funnel cake stand. She grinned over at Sideswipe as she allowed him to experience the flavor and texture of the sweet treat. Only for him to want to try and somehow recreate it in energon. The two of them visited a few booths, and Chi had to mock-whisper that it absolutely was unfair to the carnie that was running the shooting gallery for Sideswipe to play. But he played anyway, and won a stuffed fox that he gladly presented to Chi.

"There you two are!" Sunstreaker's holoform approached them with a grin. "Having fun without me I see."

"Only until you got here! Now we can have even more fun!" Sideswipe laughed as Sunstreaker pulled Chi against him and pressed a passionate kiss to her lips.

"Well hello to you too." She laughed as they parted, before she subspaced the stuffed fox and wrapped her arms around their waists. "Now, what do we do? We waited to go on rides until you got here."

The two grabbed either side of her waist so that they were walking hip to hip and she caught sight of a golden chain around both of their necks. Her eyes trailed down to see a representation of the twin mirror hangars that graced their rearview mirrors and she smiled warmly. They spent several hours riding rides, smiling, and just laughing with each other. It had been a long while since the three of them had spent any time away from base. And Chi had to admit that she desperately needed the getaway. She loved every second of it, and when they finally returned to base at almost midnight she tucked the stuffed fox that Sideswipe had won her, a stuffed cheetah that Sunstreaker had gotten her, and the sleeve of pictures the three of them had taken in a photo booth onto her desk in their room. She smiled at the three small things and couldn't help but feel her heart swell and almost burst with love and joy. She turned to see the twins had already activated their holoforms and all but collapsed on the bed in order to snuggle down in between them. With a happy sigh she drifted off to sleep, glad to have gotten that time with them.

~.~ ~.~ ~.~

Fluffy fluff! I love writing fluff between these three. I really do! I'm going to start having her do more one on one time with each twin too. Like how she and Sideswipe soloed the fair at first you know? It's implied that they do that, but I haven't really shown it. *le sigh*

Anyhow, I'm definitely going to be furthering storyline as well. It's not all going to be them interacting! There are some serious things that will be coming soon!

Please leave a review! I love hearing from my readers!

Until all are one,
