So, I am thinking about doing a rewrite of this story, fix up a few things regarding the mobile suits given to certain characters. Now don't assume that I will make a promise and not keep it, it's something I have been considering for a while. But I want to hear what you, the readers want me to do.
Anyway, onto the only review I got.
Brave kid: Thanks, I do hope you aren't being sarcastic since I barely get any reviews from this story. I noticed in your profile that you like a lot of stories, I know a few you might like if you are interested.
Anyways, lets get this started. Disclaimers are the same as always so please enjoy.
Chapter 28: The Turning Point
A few days had past since the ships arrived in Menagerie for repairs and supplies but at long last, they were finished. Everything from spare missiles and cannon rounds to Vulcan rounds were loaded onto the ships while the damaged Murasame's and Astray's on both sides were repaired. Most of the Menagerie Guard had taken an interest in the Veritechs and wondered what role they would play in the future.
As for Ruby and her fellow students, they spent a lot of time in Menagerie and found it to be the symbol of hope it was meant to be, despite being called 'dirty rotten humans' by several of the townspeople who supported the White Fang. Some even tried to start a fight, but the young warriors in training were able to avoid causing a disturbance while most of the natives actually asked them questions about what it was like to pilot a Gundam.
Even far away from civilization, the name Gundam was still the symbol of hope for all people regardless of what they are. That didn't mean that there were those who believed that those who used the machines were nothing more than tools for the oppressive humans and that the Faunus who were 'being used' were traitors to their own kind.
Despite these things being said, the students and crewmen payed no mind to such words and were soon ready to leave. During the time the ships were docked, Tolle had finished his training as a Sky Grasper pilot much to the concern of Miriallia who didn't want to think of what would happen if Tolle were to die. Tolle on the other hand just assured her that he would only be flying support for the Strike and deal with any fighters that they would encounter when they leave.
While some of the crew were dealing with concerns with their personal lives and relationships, Ghira along with the captains of the four ships, minus Goodman were discussing the route the ships would be taking and recent intelligence gathered by some of the followers of the current White Fang High Leader. "I may not know much about military tactics, but from what I have learned the White Fang has two targets they would be willing to strike at. One being JOSH-A which would be a fool's errand as it is more heavily guarded and a location somewhere in Vale, probably a secret factory or base used by Frozen Talon." Ghira said with concern.
"If it were JOSH-A they would no doubt try to take the base and use it as a staging area for attacks all across the kingdoms. The equipment stored at the base would no doubt increase their mobile suit numbers." Ironwood stated.
"But would they really go that far? I know that there are people in the military that want to flat out attack the Faunus, but the casualties on both sides would high." Natarle pointed out.
"Were I still in charge of the White Fang, I would call off the attack and focus on building better relationships with the kingdoms rather than risking the start of a war." Ghira added. "But what has passed is unimportant. If the White Fang really does attempt an attack on JOSH-A it would cripple the command structure of all the kingdoms militaries. That would work well in both their favor and Frozen Talon's."
"Regardless, we have no choice but to proceed on the designated course to the base. I only hope that we don't run into any trouble." Murrue inputted. The others nodded and agreed with her in regards to hoping that the ships wouldn't run into any trouble.
Meanwhile, at a secret location hidden deep in the desert area of Menagerie, workers continued putting the finishing touches on of the deadliest Gundam's ever built in history. With a prosthetic left arm, leg braces and eye lenses, Doctor Jay Null a well-known scientist instructed the workers on making the final adjustments to the Gundam's primary weapon. His colleagues, stealth systems expert Professor G, ballistic weapons expert Doktor S, cockpit systems specialist Instructor H and the martial artist Master O assisted him in giving orders to the work crews. "We don't have much time left. If our information is correct, the both the ships, their crews, the students onboard and Ironwood are in great danger." Doctor J thought to himself before he looked towards the direction of the Winged Gundam who's pilot was just standing in front of the machine. "I know she wants to go, but now isn't the right time. Not until this machine is ready."
Back at sea, Neo looked out from the upper deck of the lead Vosgulov class submarine and watched as the sun reflected over the ocean. As she watched a school of fish swim away from the sub, her mind was filled with memories of her past when she and Robert along with his sister lived as a family, ever since Torchwick was arrested these memories were coming more and more frequently. It was like something inside her was telling her that she had been lied to about her adoptive brother. "I thought I'd find you here." Nicol said as he approached her.
Seeing him made her smile. She and the pilot of the Blitz had become close and had always looked out for each other when ever they went out into battle. "Something on your mind?" the green haired pilot asked.
"Nicol, why did you become a mobile suit pilot?" she asked, finally being able to speak for the second time since the previous day.
"Well, I guess I wanted to do something so after what happened to my parents. You know Yzak and Dearka are orphans since Frozen Talon killed our parents just because they were Coordinators. I just want to protect people so they won't suffer the same thing we went through." Nicol explained. "I guess its kind of like the same reason you wanted to be huntress. You wanted to keep the same thing from happening to others, it's the promise you and your brother…." He went on before Neo growled at the mention of the name of the Strike pilot.
"That was long ago. All I want now is revenge against those who betrayed me and left me out to die. He is not my brother, Roman is the only family I had before they took him from me." She reminded Nicol with her fist clenched. "I'll destroy him." she added before heading back inside the submarine. Once Nicol was left alone, Dearka and Yzak soon joined him.
"We've already spoken with her on a private channel. Its time we show our true colors." Yzak said to the Blitz pilot.
"So, all we need to do is just put on a good show and make it believable. We can't have anyone learn the truth about our true allegiance, at least not yet." Dearka added. "And its about damn time too, I hate having to look over my shoulder thinking that one of these White Fang guys is going kill me." He added. The other two nodded and headed towards the hanger.
Back in Menagerie, the final checks were completed on the ships and were ready to leave as soon as Blake finished her good-byes to her parents on the boarding ramp. "Take care of yourself, Blake. Remember, you can always come back and visit us during the school break." Kali reminded her daughter who was still hugging her. "And don't forget to bring Sun with you." She whispered to her daughter, getting Blake to blush with embarrassment.
"We'll be watching the Vytal Festival. Do your best." Ghira added.
"Thanks, dad." She said and quickly boarded the Archangel as the ship started to power up and departed from the dock with repaired Murasame's flying escort until they reached the Menageries territorial waters and turned back to the island.
"At our current pace, we should reach JOSH-A within a day or two. Hopefully, we'll be able to get this whole matter sorted out and we can focus on the festival and figuring out what the White Fang is planning." Ironwood said to the captains of each ship from the bridge of the Archangel. "We still shouldn't slack off though, the enemy could attack us at any time so we must be ready incase the enemy attacks us." He added. The other captains agreed and continued to keep their ships at level two battle stations as they continued on their course.
After traveling for about an hour, they soon picked up enemy forces. "We've got contacts. Matching patterns, confirming. Aegis, Buster, Blitz and Duel and numerous, GINN's, CGUE's and GuAIZ's. Also confirming numerous enemy Spearheads." Miriallia called out.
"They were waiting for us!" Natarle shouted.
"It looks that way. All hands, level one battle stations. Deploy Team RATH and all ranged mobile suits. Have the Strike and Admiral Halberton engage the G-weapons while everyone else protects the Archangel! The Raptor will assist the Sky Graspers and Veritechs in handling the Spearheads." Murrue ordered.
The Minerva soon deployed the Impulse and Saviour while its two Zaku's and Miguel's GINN remained behind to protect the ship. The Takemikazuchi deployed the Akatsuki and Heavy Arms MK2 while the Kestrel III deployed the Galm Team, Wardog Squadron and the F91 while the Crossbone and Gundam X readied their beam rifles. As for the Archangel, the Barbatose, Exia, Deathscythe MK2, Dynamas and Narrative readied their ranged weapons while the Aile Strike and Windam Custom launched from the ship.
Onboard one of the enemy submarines, the four stolen G-Weapons deployed following the launch of the GuAIZ and CGUE's. "Leave the Strike to me!" Neo ordered the others as she took off and fixed her sights on the Strike.
(Back from The Dead starts)
"FIRE!" Murrue and Talia shouted from the bridges of their respective ships as the Gottfrieds and Tristans fired at several enemy machines covering the Veritechs and Raptor that were quick to engage the enemy forces. Beam blasts from the two ships tore through a formation of enemy GuAIZ's and Spearheads before they could get within firing range while several of the incoming GINN's, all armed with heavy weapons launched their missiles at the ships. CIWS rounds from the four ships quickly intercepted the incoming missiles while rounds from the mobile suits on top of each ship destroyed the attacking mobile suits, but in the case of the students destroyed the weapons and limbs of the enemy mobile suits.
The anger from the White Fang pilots attracted several Sea Feilongs and Nevermore's which began to attack both sides. This in turn forced the captains to launch the other Gundam's into the ocean to deal with the Grimm. Vulcan and Machine Cannon rounds tore through the creatures of Grimm as the non-ranged Gundam's dived into the water and drew their bladed weapons. Using her beam saber, Yang slashed the head off one of the Feilongs before Sun bashed another one on the head with his Nun chucks.
Blake threw a few of her throwing knives at one of the charging Feilongs that was attempting to charge at her, forcing the creature to break off its charge attack at her and allowing Yatsuhashi to stab the monster with his naginata before raising his shield and blocked the lighting breath from another creature.
Tammy and Fox unleashed a volley of rounds from their magnums at several creatures that were going right for the Altron MK2 and Barbatos killing some of the creatures before they could get even close to the members of team JNPR. Arthur followed suit with a powerful slash from his sword and cut the tail off one of the creatures before Hanzo killed two creatures with a cross horizontal slash right across the chest.
"Augh! I can't hit anything like this!" Nora complained, swinging her longsword at one of the creatures, only to have it miss while Ren was able to kill the one she missed with his Twin-Beam Trident. "Ugh, why didn't they design this thing for underwater combat when building Barby? It would make it way easier."
"Barbatos was designed for battles on land, Nora. You should be back on the ship using the Smoothbore gun to take out the enemies on the surface." Ren said over the radio to Nora, launching his dragon fangs towards two Feilongs which he then killed. "Get back to the surface!" he shouted to the orange haired girl, getting in the path of another Feilong that was about to grab the Barbatos with its massive jaws. Ren was quick to intercept the creature and broke its jaw as the Barbatos headed back for the surface as fast it could.
Back above the surface a pair of Nevermores were torn to shreds by the rounds from a CGUE's machine gun before the mobile suit was skewered by a pair of feathers from another Nevermore. Being attacked by both the White Fang and Grimm made it difficult for many of the pilots to keep track of the ships, but the Galm Team and Wardog Squadron were able to keep their focus on the Kestrel.
"Cipher, you got a pair of Spearheads on your tail!" Pixy called out to his wingman who was just saved from a Nevermore by a pair of missiles fired by Neptune who was doing his best to keep his cool and avoid crashing down into the ocean below. "Hey, blue boy! Why don't you focus on the Grimm, we'll deal with the White Fang." Pixy called out to Neptune.
Not wanting his fear of water to be revealed, Neptune did so and stuck close to the ships, changing his mobile suit back into its fighter mode and downed a pair of Nevermore's with his nose Vulcans and buster rifles, narrowly avoiding a missile from a GINN mounted Guul. Another burst of fire from his nose Vulcans damaged the sub-flight unit forcing the GINN to retreat from the combat area. "Its not the Abyss, but I like this." He said.
Back on the decks of the ships rounds from beam and ballistic weapons flew into the air destroying or damaging enemy units depending on who was at the controls of the mobile suit. Blasts from the beam weapons of the Gundam X, Crossbone, Narrative, Dynamas, Exia and Deathscythe MK2 damaged several enemy machines forcing them to return to their carrier while rounds from the two Zaku's and the GINN as well as the Heavyarms MK2 destroyed numerous enemy machines and missiles.
Above the ships, the Galm Team and Wardog squadron continued to engage the enemy DINN's and Spearheads in fighter, guardian and mobile suit mode firing their guns and missiles at all hostile targets. A burst from Cipher's gun pod damaged a DINN's wings forcing the unit to fall back to the sub-carrier, but another DINN fired its shotgun at Cipher's Eagle only to be downed by a burst of gunfire from Choppers Falcon while Bartlett gunned down a Nevermore with his Phantoms 20mm. Blaze, Archer and Edge fired their Vulcans downing a swarm of missiles launched from a pair of GINN's before they sliced them in half with their beam sabers. The GINN's and missile fragments fell to the sea, but several enemy machines managed to sneak behind the ships and scored a few hits.
"They managed to hit the ships!" Ruby shouted, gunning her thrusters towards one of the GINN's and used her beam scythe to slice the enemy mobile suits weapons and lower thrusters. This left the machine open to the Saviour's plasma beam cannons which sent the enemy machine down to the sea where it exploded.
(End song)
Meanwhile, Halberton, Robert, Shinn and Stella were engaging the four stolen G-Weapons in fierce combat. Halberton had his beam saber locked in battle with the Blitz's own beam weapon. Stella zig-zagged to avoid the rounds from the Buster's gun launcher and energy rifle while Shinn was locked in combat with the Duel. As for the Strike, Neo was firing her beam rifle wildly while the Strike kept on dodging each blast from the weapon. "Stop this, Neo! Please! I don't want to fight you!" Robert shouted over the radio to his friend.
"Its too late for that! You've already betrayed me once; I won't stop until I have my revenge!" she shouted over the radio, changing the Aegis into its mobile armor mode and sped towards the Strike. Pushing his controls to the left, Robert dodged the Aegis before spotting a nearby small island where he would have better room to maneuver.
Neo took the bait and switched to cruise mode and headed after the Strike. "NEO!" Nicol shouted as he watched her follow the Strike before his right arm was severed by Mobius One. Unknown to the others, this was the signal to Dearka and Yzak to go with the plan.
Firing all his weapons at once, Yzak charged the Impulse head on but a quick flip of a switch made it look like that when the Impulse fired its beam rifle at the Duel, the phase shift armor vanished indicating it was out of power. The Raptor rammed the Buster and it too appeared to lose all power to its phase shift armor. Both pilots quickly exited the cockpits with their hands up and surrendered.
As for Neo both she and Robert were locked in combat once again with both their beam sabers out and ready. "Just stop it Neo! You're still my sister no matter what Torchwick did to you!" Robert pleaded over the radio.
"Nothing you say can change what you did to me! After all these years I will finally have my revenge." Neo declared and charged towards the Strike with its wrist mounted beam sabers and swung them with every intent on taking out the Strike. "You left me to die in that hospital. You didn't care about me at all, you only cared about yourself!"
"Neo. I didn't leave to die in that hospital. I was trying to get the money I needed. I had to pay for the operation to get the dust out of your lungs. They wouldn't give you the treatment." Robert said sadly. His beam sabers then deactivated. "But now its over."
"You're right, it is over. Over for you." Neo stated and charged towards the Strike with her beam sabers ready to be brought down on the Strike when Robert pushed the Strike towards the Aegis.
"What happened to you, Neo! We both wanted to become protectors of the people. You said it yourself, you want to protect the people so that what happened to your parents wouldn't happen to anyone. What happened to the kind and loving girl I used to know?" Robert asked.
His words caused Neo to remember something from her past. "I remember…" she began before they both heard a familiar voice.
"NEO!" Nicol shouted as the one-armed Blitz rushed towards the two with a makeshift spear. Quickly, Robert ignited one of his beam sabers and brought the green blade right onto the Blitz's legs, just below the cockpit. "Neo… please… stop this…" Nicol said weakly before his vision faded to black and it seemed like he had died.
"MURDERER!" Neo shouted and charged towards the Strike.
"No, I didn't…" Robert began before Tolle arrived in his Sky Grasper and fired two missiles towards the Aegis which dodged and threw its shield towards the fighter plane hitting it in the cockpit and killing Tolle. "TOLLE!" Robert shouted.
(Duel of Fates starts)
Once again, a seed shattered inside Roberts mind and for the first time, one shattered inside Neo's mind. Both pilots were fueled by the anger at someone they once knew had taken the life of one of their friends were now fighting to the death.
The bang of thunder and flashes of lightning above them was the ideal scenario as the Aegis charged towards the Strike which brought both its beam rifle and gun pod to bear only for them to be destroyed by one of the Aegis's beam sabers.
Lifting off from the island, Robert gunned the Aile packs thrusters to full power in an attempt to draw the Aegis away from the wrecked Blitz and the ships so as no one would interfere with this fight. "YOU KILLED TOLLE! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" Robert shouted over the radio, dodging a blast from the Aegis's energy cannon. "I thought I knew who you were, but it appears the person I once called a sister is long gone. I'll kill you!"
He dropped his shield and drew his secondary beam saber before charging towards Neo who quickly shifted the Aegis back into its mobile suit mode and dropped her shield as well along with her beam rifle. "Why throw your life away so recklessly? Does the Demon Lord want to die like the ones he has already killed?" Neo asked, bringing her beam sabers up and blocked Roberts attack.
Robert said nothing and countered the block with a swift kick which knocked the Aegis back a few feet, knocking over a few tree's before severing one of the Aegis's arms. "Really? Cat got your tongue? Guess you can blame Blake for that, seeing as she is a faunus after all." Neo teased over the radio before stabling the Aegis back up. She soon returned the favor by severing one of the Strikes arms and slashing open the cockpit of the Strike, only for her machine to lose its head seconds later followed by having her cockpit slashed open as well.
Quickly, Neo changed the Aegis to its mobile armor mode and grabbed the Strike before she inputted the self-destruct code and quickly exited the Aegis. Robert followed suit as soon as he realized what she was planning and followed after her with his swords in hand. Both mobile suits soon exploded, lighting up the stormy sky the two friends soon began to engage each other in brutal sword combat.
Bringing both his swords up to block the blade from Neo's parasol, Robert landed a successful horizontal slash on her, reducing some of her aura before taking a hit across the chest. "This feels like old times. We used to practice like this all the time back in Signal. You'd always win, but not today!" Robert snarled and pressed his attack on his old friend who was now very low on aura.
"Did we practice? I seem to remember that you were always jealous of my swordsmen ship skills and had to teach you a few things. That's why you wanted to get rid of me!" Neo shouted and lunged with her own blade at Robert, hitting him with several fast jabs reducing his aura rapidly. Screaming in anger towards Robert, she attacked again. Bring her blade up high, she prepared to bring it down on her old friends head only to have her attack blocked, but by using her semblance to make it look like Robert countered her attack, she got behind him and slashed him across the back, depleting his aura.
A powerful side kick to his back sent Robert flying into a tree forcing him to drop his swords and leave him dazed long enough for Neo to slash him right across the chest, causing some bleeding. "Time to finish this!" Neo declared and prepared to finish the job.
(End song)
She was poised to run her blade through Robert, but found herself fighting her body. 'What's wrong with me? Why can't I do it? I finally have the chance to avenge Nicol and get my revenge on my so called 'brother' so why can't I do it?' she thought to herself.
Robert looked up and smiled as blood started to seep from his wound as his aura slowly started to heal him. "You can't do it. You still see me as a brother." He said. Neo's eyes widened and just ran to the top of a nearby cliff, confused and unsure.
"You don't remember, do you?" Robert said, walking up behind Neo, his wound still healing.
"I don't need to remember, I've been told! You didn't care what happened to me!" Neo shouted.
"That's not true." Robert countered.
"You left me to die! But you saved yourself!"
"I was trying to get the money so I could pay the doctors to save your life."
Neo looked down as Robert walked closer to her. "Think back, Neo. You were excited because of one the previews we saw for the movie. We kept talking about it so much that we didn't even hear the gunfire." Robert said, trying to get his sister to remember.
Neo soon started to remember that day and how she and Robert wanted to see one of the movies that was shown as a preview. "Then we realized what was going on and tried to run. But then came the explosion." He went on.
"Stop it! You're lying!" She demanded.
"Listen to me. I tried to save you that day and when you were in the hospital!" Robert plead. "The building was getting full of smoke; dust was filling the air as I tried to get the rubble off you." He went on.
"No, you only wanted to save yourself. You left me to die!" Neo shouted and pushed them both off the cliff with Neo dropping her parasol. Robert was quick to grab a hanging branch while Neo held onto his hand for dear life.
The pain from his wound was immense, but Robert kept his grip on Neo's hand tightly. "Hold on, Neo. Hold on!" he said to his friend who was now starting to get her memories back. She remembered Robert telling her the same thing when she was trapped, telling him to go get help. But he kept saying no, that he wasn't going to leave her.
She remembered Torchwick and his associate telling her that Robert left her for dead. Almost immediately, Neo's true memories came back as lighting flashed again around the island. "Hang on, Neo!" Robert shouted.
Now that she knew the truth, Neo pulled herself up to the other side of the branch and looked to Robert with a sadness in her eyes. "I remember. What have I done?"
The branch soon started to give way. "Its going to break!" she shouted.
"Its not going to support both of us." Robert said getting Neo to look at him. "Goodbye, Neo."
He then let go of the branch. "NO!" Neo shouted and kicked off the side of the cliff falling after Robert. She soon caught Robert and with the last of her strength, used her semblance to teleport the two of them back to the damaged Aegis and Strike, both of them skidding along the sandy beach.
"Why did you sacrifice yourself? You're the pilot of the Strike, I killed your friend and you killed Nicol!" she shouted.
"No… I didn't kill him… I only disarmed the… Blitz…" Robert said weakly. "You love him… I couldn't do that to you… even if you killed Tolle… We're still family… and family… is more important… then… anything." He went on before passing out from lose of blood.
Neo was also weak from the wounds she suffered from the fight and crawled away a few feet as the remaining White Fang mobile suits retreated back to the subs as the ships left area, but not before the Archangel sent a message to both Vale and Menagerie along with the location of the mobile suits. It wasn't long before several Spengler-Class aircraft carriers, Nelson and Agamemnon class airships arrived, but they weren't from the Roughnecks. A Strike Dagger kept watch for any signs of enemy machines while other Strike Daggers picked up the parts of the machines and loaded them onto several trucks.
"Doesn't look like the Soul Drive was in the Strike when it exploded. Least the pilots are dead." One pilot said, noticing the bodies of Robert and Neo were several feet away from the mobile suits. "Still, if we can give these mobile suits to several of our 'secret weapons' then we'll finish what was started long ago. Every Faunus and Coordinator will be cleansed from this world for the preservation of our blue and pure world." He added.
Just second as one of the trucks was loaded onto a hover craft, one of the Nelson class airships exploded. "Are we under attack?" Another pilot asked before they were cleaved in half by an emerald blade which appeared out of nowhere.
"You assholes ain't getting those machines!" Duo said as the Deathscythe Hell Alpha decloaked and started to attack the Frozen Talon machines.
"IT'S A GUNDAM!" one of the dagger pilots shouted before they met their end.
(When the Dragon Swims Everything Ends starts)
Another swipe from his powerful beam scythe destroyed several more enemy machines like they were made of butter as another enemy ship was destroyed. Emerging from the wreckage of a Spengler class carrier, the Heavyarms Custom looked its sights on several other carriers which had started to deploy their mobile suits and unleashed the firepower of its massive arsenal.
Beam Gatling, Gatling, machine cannon, Vulcan rounds and missiles streaked towards the ships as they desperately launched missiles towards the Heavyarms Custom all of which were shot down before the could even get close while the enemy mobile suits were blown out of the sky and crashed into the water below, exploding in a cloud of water. They were soon followed by several other enemy ships. "Looks they brought some Windam's with them. Quatre, Wufei deal with them. I'll continue dealing with the ships." Trowa instructed his fellow Gundam pilots who were further down the beach.
Twirling his twin beam trident, Wufei stabbed one enemy Dagger through the cockpit before firing his twin beam cannons at another Dagger, destroying that one as well. "Nataku, lets show these fools what happens when you fight for genocidal ideas." He said to his machine and launched his dragon fangs towards two Windam's, grabbed one by the head and slammed it into the ground while he used the other one as a shield which took the blow from another Windam's beam rifle. "Killing your own men just to get a shot at the enemy? You terrorists all the same."
Kicking in his thrusters, he charged towards the Windam that tried to kill him and slashed it across the chest with a powerful slash before his Vulcans roared to life and shot down several incoming missiles from a pair of Jet Windams.
The missiles exploded as the mobile suits were taken down by a volley of fire from the arriving Gaia's beam assault cannons. Its beam blades ignited as the machine lunged into the air and sliced another group of Windam's before configuring to mobile suit mode and drew both its beam rifle and one of its beam sabers. "Leave now, or be killed!" The Gaia pilot demanded. Sadly, their demands were met on deaf ears as the terrorist mobile suits continued their assault.
The enemy machines soon started to take fire from both the left and right flanks as the Maganac Corps and the Sandrock Paladin arrived. Numerous Strike Daggers and enemy Windam's were destroyed by beams and shells as the Sandrock rushed in and sliced through several Strike Daggers with its heat shotels before raising its shield to block a strike from a Windam before the enemy machine was destroyed by a volley of fire from the Heavyarms Custom as it headed towards the beach after destroying the last of the enemy ships. Following it was the Winged Gundam.
Pulling into a steep climb, the Winged Gundam transformed into its mobile suit mode and drew its beam saber while its shield deflected the rounds from several Strike Dagger beam rifles before it surged towards the knock offs of the Strike and hacked away with its green blade. "We better hurry this up boys." The pilot of the Winged Gundam, a woman with black and red hair called out. "We've got an Arsenal Bird heading towards us and its not to keen on us being here to recover the machines."
"Well then it's a good thing we brought an ace in the hole." Duo chuckled as the last enemy machine fell to the ground and exploded.
(End song)
Just then, the Arsenal Bird broke through the clouds and launched both MQ-101's and several Taurus mobile dolls. The unmanned machines streaked towards the mobile suits on the beach all of which opened up with their Vulcans and ranged weapons, shooting down numerous machines before the Taurus units landed and fired their beam rifles. The Sandrock, Deathsycthe Hell Alpha and Altron Custom charged forwards with their bladed weapons held high and slashed apart dozens of the attacking mobile suits while the Heavyarms Custom, Gaia and Maganac's opened up with their own weapons destroying more of the enemy machines as the Winged Gundam changed to its fighter mode and went after a pair of drones, destroying them with its 120mm. Despite destroying a good portion of the attacking enemy units, they were still outnumbered and almost out of ammo. As another swarm of unmanned machines headed towards the beach, a large golden blast of hellfire destroyed dozens of enemy units. The source of the blast was a fighter aircraft with the same colors as the Winged Gundam but had four wings with a power thruster in the center of the wings and two large cannons attached to the front of it.
The cannons barrels smoked after being fired before the machine transformed.
(The Legend of Zero XXXG-00W0 starts)
If the mobile dolls and drones had pilots, they would have pissed themselves scarred as the machine that had arrived was the legendary Wing Zero, the first Gundam made from Gundanium Alloy and the most powerful Gundam ever built.
Bring its Twin Buster Rifle to bear, Heero Yuy locked onto the Arsenal Bird and fired. A large golden beam of destruction wiped out every machine that was in its path as the blast tore the Arsenal Birds APS and tore through the machines armor. The Arsenal Bird then rolled over in a death roll and crashed into the ocean below followed by the MQ-101's while the Taurus mobile dolls continued towards the machine.
"Let's go, Zero." Heero said and opened up with the machines 30mm shoulder gatlings. Compared to the Vulcans of mobile suits like the Strike, the rounds from the Wing Zero's destroyed several mobile dolls before he drew one of his beam sabers and charged towards the remaining mobile dolls. He slashed through the machines with his sword before the Winged Gundam arrived and took aim with its Buster Rifle and fired.
The combined firepower of the two-winged mobile suits destroyed the remaining enemy machines with ease. "Targets eliminated. Mission complete." Heero said before the face of the Gaia pilot appeared on his screen. "We need to take them with us. They won't last long without any medical attention." He stated.
(End song)
"Understood. But what do we do about the forces from Vale?" the pilot asked.
"Leave that to me." The Winged Gundam's pilot said.
It took sometime before the forces from Vale arrived and found the wrecks of the Strike and Aegis. Workers loaded the remains of the two mobile suits onto several bullheads while Ozpin stared at the wreckage of the machines. Both G-Weapons were damaged but repairable, but the pilots were not found. But he did know they were in good hands. "So, you are still alive after all." He said to himself before looking at the white cloak in his hands. "If they are with you, then I can focus on bringing Fall back into the world."
XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero
Type: Prototype Transformable General-Purpose Mobile Suit
Power Source: Ultracompact Fusion Reactor
Armor: Gundamium Alloy
Weapons: 2x Beam Sabers, 2x 30mm shoulder gatlings, shield, 20mm shield Vulcan, Twin Buster Rifle
Pilot: Heero Yuy
Known simply as Zero or Wing Zero, the Gundam Wing Zero is the most powerful mobile suit ever constructed. Armed with the powerful Twin Buster Rifle, the Wing Zero can punch a hole clear through the hull of a battleship while its shoulder gatlings can damage and even destroy an enemy mobile suit depending on the armor. Unlike the Buster Rifle of the Winged Gundam, the Twin Buster Rifle can fire as many shots as possible compared to the Winged Gundam's three shots. Like the Winged Gundam, Wing Zero has a Neo-Bird mode, but unlike the Winged Gundam, Wing-Zero used the Zero-System a combat computer that feeds the pilot combat data and possible outcomes. Those who are overwhelmed by the amount of data can go mad in seconds. It takes a strong pilot to control this beast of a Gundam.
And done. Hope you all liked how I brought in Wing-Zero. And if you know who the pilot of the Winged Gundam is now, don't go spoiling it. Anyways, please read and review and I also have posted a new poll for my upcoming Force Unleashed RWBY story.
