Louis
Where was she? Odette was probably the most elusive person he had ever met. When she didn't want to be found, you wouldn't find her. Sometimes it was extremely annoying, especially if you had...oh I don't know . . .JUST KISSED HER AND SHE RAN AWAY? Well ok it was just a kiss on the cheek but still. Louis had checked every place he knew of. Even the roof and she was nowhere to be seen. Finally he remembered that there was one place he hadn't checked. There was an old stage that they had not used in years. It was the same stage that he had first seen her dance on. He walked in and felt a small smile pull at the corners of his mouth. Odette was dancing and not like little sweeps with her cane she was using full blown extensions and turns. Everything was off her bad ankle and she still had to use her cane to keep her balance but the fire was still in her eyes. Louis had always known that she had good stage presence but this was something entirely new. It was like she was proving to the world that no matter how many times you broke her, nothing could ever get her down. She pulled her leg into a beautiful attitude and tilted her head back letting the shadows accentuate her extreme dancers lines. Any person that would have watched her would have never known that she had an injury. Even she seemed to have forgotten that it was there. Her smile was radiant and her body flowed with ease. She stepped on her bad leg and made a half coupe turn but when she tried to kick her leg into a high extension, her standing leg collapsed beneath her and she fell crying out. She gasped and pushed herself up trying the same move again and once again she fell. She cursed and stood again. She tried again but this time Louis was there to catch her and lift her leg into that high kick she wanted. Odette looked at him in surprise but she didn't seem annoyed instead she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself up. Louis smirked and rotated his body so he could support her weight. Her eyes filled with determination and she let her leg down giving him a nod. Louis smiled and kept her steady as she made a full coupe turn Kicking her leg up and then landing it, moving into a poderbre. He lifted her up and she giggled. Odette never giggled. He set her down moving to help her stay upright in a pirouette. She landed facing him. Her eyes shone with glee and passion and Louis couldn't help it.
He leaned in and kissed her. She gasped but she didn't pull away and after a second she melted into him. Louis held her close, dipping her almost to the floor. He broke the kiss when they needed air and she put her forehead to his.
"I had no idea you could still dance like that." Louis breathed.
Odettes eyes searched his and she smiled. "I didn't know either. And Louis… thank you."
He smiled back. "I would do anything for you." He swallowed hard. "Odette… I love you. I always have."
She breathed out and kissed him deeply again. When she pulled back she said the four words he had longed to hear for a long time.
"I love you too."
He laughed and spun her around. She may have been injured, she may have been hurt, and she may have hidden, but she was still Odette. His Odette. From now till forevermore.
