Epilogue:

Harry was happy, twenty four years had passed since he had got married. Twenty four amazing wonderful years. His children had grown up, Rose was going to get married and Harry was happy to see that. She was now twenty three and was going to marry Hugo Weasley-Granger, the oldest son of Hermione and Ron. Sue and Harry had three other children, James Albus Potter, 21 years of age Charlus Fleamont-Potter, 19 years of age and Lily Hermione Potter 17 years of age. Dudley had married Pansy Parkinson and they had two children, Edward Victor Dursley and Bard Parkinson-Dursley.

The years had been both good and trying, after the attacks Harry had worked for a time ridding the world of evil. However when his son was born he decided he wanted to be at home raising his children. Sue supported him and enjoyed the role of businesswoman the most. Dudley still fought evil to this day with the full support of his wife. The thanes joined in this fight and the magical world of the British isles was thriving and full of light and love. Dumbledore had died in his sleep and was buried with his family as he requested. Harry still put up a statue of him in Camelot where the new ministry met now.

There was a virus the affected the world and magicals too which showed that humans were humans and tied together. This got more muggle technology into the magical world, though unlike their muggle counterparts those under legal age, that is to say 17 were not allowed access to social media. It might seem harsh but it did help keep magical children focused on their magical studies and keep magical society going. There had been one attempt to change the law but it was shot down and in fact was adopted world-wide. This meant that magical culture would stay intact and not be unduly affected by the muggle world, smart phones too were not used by magicals for the same reason.

Sirius never married but Taurus Sirius Black had and had three strong children, Cadmus, Aria and Diana. Terra had not married and did not want to, which was fine, no-one in the magical world was forced to marry. Sirius was settled down as a member of the ministry and enjoying whatever work he did, even Harry was not sure what he did after all. Nor did he really want to ask, so oaths and the like kept him from wanting to ask. Oh well, Sirius was happy and that was what mattered. He had been even happier since he sold all of Grimmauld square to St. Mungos and a fine hospital was in it's place now in the old buildings.

Severus Snape had finally married and settled down with Charity Burbage. They had two children, David and Dinah both twenty years old now. They were happy and were well on their way to making the Snape name one to be honored as much as their father had done. Life was very good as Harry stood in his best robes, blue silk with gold trim. Sue was in red robes with flowers and plants painted on them and their daughter was in red robes painted with pretty birds, flowers and animals in stunning detail. Red was a lucky color and a good color for a bride and Rose looked beautiful. Hugo was clad in blue silk robes and was in awe of his soon to be bride.

"Marriage is what brings us together today." The ancient priest said, "the union of Rose Sue Potter and Hugo Weasley-Granger shall take place this year, any who do not approve say so now."

"No get on with it!" Fred said getting swatted by his wife.

"Do please." George added also getting swatted.

"Do you Rose Sue Potter take Hugo Weasley-Granger to be your husband, in sickness and health for better or worse all the days of your life, to be a help and pillar to stand with?"

"I do." Rose said.

"Hugo Weasley-Granger, do take Rose Sue Potter to be your wife, in sickness and health for better or worse all the days of your life, to be a help and pillar to stand with?"

"I do." Hugo said blushing to his red hair.

"Then by the powers vested in my by the almighty God I pronounce you man and wife, let no one tear this union apart. You may kiss each other."

Bride and groom did and Harry thought back long ago how he had changed his life with one sentence. How he broke the blood wards and managed by that act to cause history to go a very different way. Now he had a happy life, Dumbledore had died in his sleep of old age happy and content. The magical world was a peaceful and happy place and he was happily married to the love of his life. He no longer had a scar on his forehead and was happy and content. He wondered what his life could have been like, perhaps like the series about him that was close to the truth in some parts but wildly not in others.

Fireworks went off as the thanes and Harry's family celebrated the marriage of two wonderful people. There was still evil in the world true but there were those that would fight it and magical Britain was entering a new brighter age. Harry was happy to be part of it and have his family at his side. He honestly could state that everything was good and well for him. Later that night he was seated reading a book when Dumbledore visited him, he was not a ghost but some higher power allowed him to come and visit with Harry now and again.

"So how is having your eldest married off?" Dumbledore asked.

"Good, very good." Harry replied, "how is the afterlife?"

"Wonderful, you will see in an hundred years or so, your parents are proud of you." Dumbledore replied.

"Thank you for looking out for me all these years." Harry said.

"It is the least I could do, Harry." Dumbledore said, "I hear you got the library going I always wanted to."

"Yes, in Tin Falls." Harry replied, "fitting place really."

Harry smiled and sat back, he was happy, his life was good and one of his children had been married already. He was looking forward to being a grandfather soon and was grateful the blood wards had fallen. He felt much freer for it and fewer good guys had died. He looked over at the cage Wormtail lived in and threw in a small carrot for the menace to chew on. He always had made a better pet rat after all.
