The bathroom was definitely not a normal one. The baths were more like spa or bubble baths. With multiple hot tubs, one sauna, a eucalyptus vapor bath, oils, salts and creams. With dim lighting, candles everywhere and soft music, it was the most relaxing place Kagome's as ever been in. The entire place was eggshell and hazel, the chandeliers all over the place. It seemed random but that particular wood essence was called Palo Santo, aka the Holy Wood. Known to have healing effects, the fact that the she-wolves had taken her in that particular place was everything but random.
The miko was naked in water up to her armpits and foam up to her chin. Her hair was down, Emica brushing them with all the care in the world, her hands out of the water, Kazuko doing her nails while Chika was on the side preparing towels and folding her clothes and Aiko was preparing her tea.
-Thank you, girls… I feel. So. Much. Better.
-Good. We are infusing our youki and giving it to you. That's why we are touching you. I was kind of afraid your spiritual powers would reject it. As of right now, nobody quite knows what is happening inside your body. Your spiritual powers are trying to get accustomed to the youki you're sharing with Kouga while your body is trying to produce some for the foetus, a feat we know you can't do.
Chika, having seen her fair share of mothers at the hospital, thought it would help Kagome's body to be the more relaxed possible. The more her body was tense, the more her powers would react violently to an outside intervention. Their Lady certainly got way more colors in her face and her smile was more genuine towards them, which was kind of reassuring given the fact that she would have to choose her betas between them. But that moment could not stay cool and quiet since soon enough, Emica started searching for such personal answers, not being actually sure of the legitimacy of their Lady.
-So… how did you and Koga meet, My Lady?

-Do you wanna know how we met the first time or the second?
-Both.
-We first met 500 years ago when I was fifteen and he was… nineteen, I think. I was a priestess searching for the famous Shikon Jewel that I had broken by accident. And he had 3 of those shards. The only thing differencing me from all those doing the same thing was that I could actually see the Shikon shards and purify them. Koga found out while fighting against one of my... travelling companions. He thought I was wasting my talents with them, so he took the matter into his own hands and planed to take me away in order to help his cause: defending the dens against the Birds of Paradise. Even though he only had to ask, he abducted me and my foster son, took us to the den before leaving for the hunt with the only indication that nobody could eat us. The thing is… I tried to escape and one of the males tried to eat me. Long story short, Koga, liking my spirit I guess, decided, by himself, that I was his mate. So… I slapped him right across his cheek, stunning him. Apparently, he liked me even more after that and declared his love on top of a mountain in the middle of a battle in front of my former love interest. And well, it stuck with me, always in the back of my head. And that's why when we met again a couple of months ago, I was thrilled. He really is the love of my life, but when we met the first time, we just weren't ready. We both had some other things to live on our own before really finding ourselves in each other.
-Wow, you really do love him.

Emica gave a cold look at Kazuko for her comment. Everybody in the tribe knew about her not-so-secret crush on their Alpha but for Kagome and she had intended of keeping it that way. That was until the blond sneaked in. From the bath, Kag could clearly see the cold exchange and decided to end it by standing up to get out, surprising everyone. Aiko handed her a fluffy white towel. As she began to dry herself, the tall woman came to help her… signing.. . While the she-wolf turned around her, Kagome felt a little out of place, the other woman caressing her neck and her skin.

That's when the brunette Chika jumped in, in order to break the momentum of Emica's prestation. She was scared that if it was Emica, she could push away their Lady and stay to console poor Koga left behind. She had to stop that. Another icy glare was exchanged. The black-haired woman getting really annoyed that nobody trusted her.

All the girls joined in, the two others pushed by the same train of thought as Chika. Circling Kagome's head in the mirror all singing to her, the dramatically of it was kind of funny to an outside eye.

Kagome had finished dressing herself, so they decided to get out of the bathroom, towards the rest of the pack. But neither her earlier actions or her getting out of the room stopped the girls from singing to her how her husband-to-be was great.

They were now outside the bathroom, Kagome fully relaxed, took comfortably the lead of the group heading toward the gym. Walking like that felt like the most natural thing in the world, like she was destined to be a leader to those girls. But, the song was not exactly finish, so Kazuko continued while walking up to her Lady, her head near her Lady's shoulder.

Aiko then joined in for the next two lines, physically closing the distance between them and taking a similar position.

They did the chorus all together at the entrance of the gym. That's when they saw him. And what a sight that was. Koga had decided to work out a little, being here altogether was a great excuse to, but the sweat accumulated on his shirt turned out to become a burden, the fabric clinging to his skin and limiting his freedom of movements, so he took it off before doing some chin-ups. The light descending from the glass ceiling offering a divine-like appearance to him. Kagome brought the girls closer to her with a movement of wrist to which the girls instinctively responded before singing in whisper the end of the song.

She took in the view of her man. In ALL of his glory. Her man. He was hers. Always had been. How was she that blind, that stupid to not see him? Was Inuyasha really that bright at that time? She had been but a child when they met, she was immature and stubborn but above all else. she was so sure she just had one opportunity at love. If that had been the case, she couldn't help but think that it would all have been a waste seeing how the hanyou was hung up on Kikyo. Koga turned around sensing her near and smiled. Kagome felt herself smile walking up to him, the heels of her leather boots tapping on the concrete, her hands in the pockets of her beige cardigan ending lower than her jean short. The wolf raised his hands cupping the face of his mate, her own hands ending on his hips, their lips meeting in the middle.
Aiko, Kazuko and Chika all looked at Emica, all three of them frowning, curious and worried.
-What? Stop Looking at me like that!
None uttered a word at were only possible beta, all four of them. Their Lady was supposed to choose two of them, that's how it worked, they knew it. All four of them felt it, the very second a female Alpha was chosen. But the dark hair beauty didn't want to be a beta, she did not even wanted to be an alpha, she just wanted the mate. While looking at the very happy couple, her eyes spoke volumes of her love, of the longing and the envy.
-I'm fine.
-Come on Emica. You know you can't possibly be a beta!
-Until My Lady picks, I am going to give her my entire being and every second of my time. I'm telling you: I am fine.
