Lincoln was playing his video game Total Turbo XXII on his console when Lori came down with her own console."Hey, Lincoln. Mind if the two of us race?" she asks. Lincoln smiles, "Sure, why not?" he answers and the two of them connected their console together."Yo." Lenington's greetings scared the two with Lori jumping into Lincoln's arms in fright."Jeez, I didn't even teleport. Anyway, room for one more?" he takes out his own console. Lincoln and Lori smiled at each other and nodded, so Lenington connected his console with the Lincoln, who is the server in this case. The former boy takes off his respirator for now.
"3! 2! 2! GO!" the console went and the three players driver ahead, trying to one-up each other. Along the way, they collected some nitro power up, the bar at the middle-top filling up but wasn't used. The three were neck-to-neck in places, Lori and Lincoln looked at each other and nodded. But they saw a crashing noise and noticed that they both crashed."Player 3 wins!" the console announced.
They looked to Lenington who had a bored look on his face and huffed weakly, "Yare yare. Simpletons are so vexing. You should have not taken your eyes of the screen, especially when you are playing against me." Lenington shakes his head, appearing unaware to his brother and sister's seething fury."Shall we try again?" "YES!"
Lenington sighed and readied himself."3! 2! 1! GO!" they all drived off once again. Midway, Lincoln was trying to outrun Lenington, with Lori not so far behind. Lincoln gained a mischievous grin and attacked Lenington by bumping into him. Lenington dodged it by using his nitro and gaining a full car's length ahead of his brother. He didn't stop there as he bumps Lincoln's front, causing him to spin out of control and Lori to crash into him and destroying their vehicles."Player 3 wins!" hearing that caused the two losers to seethe in rage harder.
"AGAIN!" "OK." "3! 2! 1! GO!" once more, they drive again. The three were side by side again, Lincoln on the left, Lenington in the middle and Lori to the right. The former and latter decided to perform a pincer attack on the middle player, who used his nitro to get out of the way which caused the two attackers to get their vehicles totaled."Player 3 wins!" the losers raved again."One more time!" Lori declared while Lincoln agreed."K."
"3! 2! 1! GO!" and with that, they drove off one last time. The three were right beside each other again, with Lincoln and Lori switching place while Lenington remained in the middle. Lori tries to bump into Lenington to hopefully throw-off her two opponents, but Lenington dodged by slowing, causing Lori to miss but didn't bump into Lincoln."Ha! That won't work on me!" her joy was short-live as Lenington uses his nitro to bump into her, destroying her vehicle. Lincoln didn't waste a second and tries to ram his side into Lenington's side, but hits nothing as the latter continues to use his nitro. Lincoln couldn't stop his vehicle in time due to his momentum and crashed into a billboard."So predictable." Lenington said in a bored tone and sighed while taking his leave. Lincoln and Lori raved even harder, with Lori throwing her console.
Surprise! I'm not dead, just not having the motivation to write with all the distractions and lack of support. I also have a sneak peek to another story that I will put up later in this book since you guys wouldn't see it, like how you guys didn't notice my other sneak peek.
