AUTHOR'S NOTES: This is it, the final Chapter! I have so many things I want to say where do I begin? I'll start at the beginning.
When I first started this story, I wanted to live up to the other Sam/Rory FanFics. I wanted to have at least 150k words and twenty chapters and all that. But eventually, my thoughts went elsewhere, and life threw me somewhere else. So, I'm ending this story with some closer and some happiness for what's to come. I will be continuing The Uncanny Glee Kids, and I want to do a couple one shots, but it's going to be calm for a while. I won't be doing another big project except for my current ones for a while.
With that in mind, I wanted to say the regrets I have with this story. I know it's short at times, and I know that I'm not consistent with my storyline. I know that the character's dialogue isn't something they would actually say. I'm going to try my best to get better with all of those things with my other stories. I promise.
Anyway, let's end off this story peacefully.

RECAP: Sam and Rory had four visitors in one day. The first one was Sebastian who apologized for everything he did to them throughout the school year. The next visitors were Rory's parents and his brother. Sam really enjoyed seeing Rory's family and he had a good time with them. And that's what you missed on The Irish and The Blonde.
The Final Chapter (18): Goodbye
Rory couldn't believe that his junior year was over, and he would be leaving tomorrow. All he could do now was reflect upon the year he had.
After getting shot, Rory made a wealthy recovery. He began to take physical therapy to help his left leg get stronger again, and at first, Rory was in a lot of pain. But he start to get stronger and his wound began to heal up. He also had Sam, and Sam's family when they visited for a day, and his family by his side to help him through the therapy. Mr. Flanagan was very strict on how and when Rory should walk. It was the first time Sam ever saw the stern side of him, that's why he came up with other methods. Methods that Rory gladly approved of. Every time Rory would get a successful foot of walking done, Sam agreed to kiss him, and that practically drove Rory insane to do better. At night was when Sam agreed to give Rory the kisses, so they would spent at least an hour making out. By the end of his therapy, Rory was extremely thankful of his boyfriend.
One week later Rory was discharged from the hospital with crutches and a lot of pain killers. The Flanagan's help Rory get settled back into regular life before they went back to Ireland. It was a sad goodbye that left Rory wanting more, but he would see them in a two months. When he would leave America, and leave Sam for three months.
A couple days after Rory's parents left, school resumed. When Rory walked through the doors, he could feel everyone's eyes staring at him. Usually, Rory was a ghost to his student-body, the only people that acknowledged him were Sam, the Glee club, and the teachers. But now everything was worse, because Rory was now known as the guy who got shot. The guy was too dumb to run away from Rick Nelson. It was all hogwash in Rory's mind, so he just ignored everyone. After the first two weeks of school returning, things began to die down. Soon Rory was just another useless body walking the hallways, and that was perfectly fine. As long as Rory had Sam and the Glee club, then everything would be fine. Now he could spent the last two months of his school year in peace.
Two more weeks passed and Prom season was here. Sam made a quick and simple proposal to Rory one night after they had just made love. This was Rory's first Prom, let alone his first school dance, so he was very excited. Both of the guy's bot their tuxes separate because they didn't want to ruin the surprise. And on Friday night, Sam knocked on Rory's door to take him on the full Prom experience. Which was filled with dinner before, the actual dance, singing on stage with everyone, the couple's slow dance, and finally having sex afterwards. It was definitely one of Rory's best days in America.
The next big thing to happen in Rory's life was Nationals. The final competition to determine who would be the National Show Choir Champion was held in Houston this year. After stepping off of the plane, Rory felt immediately hot. Sam was fine with the heat because he grew up in the warm country zone, but Rory was used to the cold back in Ireland.
The New Direction's main focus switched from the weather to the actual competition within the first thirty minutes of being in Houston. The hotel that they were staying in had fifteen other groups staying there too, and everyone was determined. That just fueled the New Direction's spirits even more. They practiced non-stop, with the exceptional dinner and movie dates, and they felt extremely ready to perform. The day of the competition was a rushing experience. The New Directions preformed eighteenth out of thirty two groups across America. All three of their songs left an impact on everyone who watched them. From "Rumor has it/Someone like you" to "My Man" or even "Paradise by the Dashboard light." All three of those songs were powerful, strong, and filled with energy. And that showed when they received the first place spot.
Rory was in the happiest moment of his entire life. He appreciated the effort and dedication that all of the New Directions put into their work. He felt happy that he could do what he loves next year with the person that he loves, Sam. It was a very satisfying thought for the Irishman, and something he would be looking forward to.

Sam couldn't believe that his junior school year was already over. One moment, he was dancing with Rory at Prom, then another he was preforming on a stage in Houston, one month later he watch some of his best friends graduate from McKinley, then Rory got a call saying that he was supposed to leave in a week. That week went by very fast, and tonight was Rory's last night in America.
In the last hour, Sam packed an overnight bag and was heading towards Brittany's house. Burt had given him permission so that he could stay with Rory for his last night in America. Sam wasn't ready for Rory to go yet. No. Rory was Sam's best boyfriend, he was his only boyfriend, but he is the best person that Sam could ever date. Rory completes Sam in every way possible, and tomorrow he'll be forced to say goodbye to that. It was a gut wrenching thought that Sam was forcing himself to ignore, even as he was knocking on Rory's bedroom door.
"Hey Sammy," Rory said as he leaned in to kiss Sam.
The Blonde walked inside Rory's bedroom and put his overnight bag down. Then he noticed that Rory's room was mostly empty, everything was packed and put into either bags or boxes. "Wow, I didn't you'd already be packing," Sam stated.
"I know, I hate doin' it," Rory said while trying his best not to get sad. "It's goin' te feel weird not sleepin' in this room."
"It's only going to be for three months. You'll be back sooner than expected, and our senior year will be amazing." Sam brushed over Rory's hair as they talked. "I hate that you're leaving, I really do, but I understand it."
"I know Sammy I hate it te. I'm goin' te miss ye like crazy. It's goin' te be hell for both of us." Rory shed a tear that Sam could see perfectly.
"Okay let's not think about you leaving. Since it's your last night in America… what's the one thing you would like to do?" Sam asked.
"Uhh I'm not sure. I think the first thin' that comes te mind is have sex," Rory stated with a small smile. Sam chuckled a bit and responded to Rory by kissing him. The kiss was sweet and simple, but then it turned into a lustful make-out session.
Sam was the first to lose his shirt when he broke away from Rory. He lost his shorts too and looked over to see that Rory was taking off all of his clothes. Sam had to admit, he had a very hot boyfriend. Rory did have a six-pack, nor any abs at all, but he was slim and hot. It was something that Sam was ravaging over.

"Rory? Are you okay?" Sam asked.
"No, I'm not ready te do this Sammy," Rory stated as he got emotional. "This is te hard."
"Hey Rory look at me." Sam put his hand on Rory's cheek. "This is just what has to happen. You have to get on that plane, and you have to go back to Ireland. Okay?"
"Alright." Rory got out of the truck and walked towards the front entrance of the airport with Sam, who had both of his suitcases. His other things would be mailed to Rory today after he left.
Right as you walk into the Lima Airport, the security and the metal detectors were there. So this was the last spot that Rory would see Sam before going through security. He had to say goodbye right now.
Rory immediately lunged onto Sam's chest as tears fell down his face. "Sammy I can't, I can't say goodbye te ye yet. I love ye te much," Rory said as he cried.
"Then don't say goodbye to me yet. Instead say goodbye to them," Sam stated. Rory looked up at Sam with confused eyes, but Sam was just pointed to another direction. The Irishman turned his head to see the entire Glee club and Mr. Shue waiting for Rory, all smiling.
Tina and Mike were the first to walk up to Sam and Rory. "It's been a pleasure to know you Rory, and I can't wait until you're back," Tina said as she and Mike hugged Rory. They moved on and Quinn and Puck walked up to Rory next.
One by one, person by person, Rory said goodbye to his glee club members. From Blaine and Kurt, to Mercedes, Joe and Rachel, then to Artie and Sugar, Santana even was a little sad about Rory's departure. Rory hugged and said goodbye to all of them. Mr. Shue walked up to Rory and gave him and hug and wished him well, then Finn and Brittany walked up to Rory last.
Brittany immediately lunged herself onto Rory's chest. "I'm going to miss you so much Rory leprechaun. We need to text every day," Brittany said as she cried.
"Trust me I will Britt," Rory said while he brushed Brittany's hair. The Irishman looked up to see that Finn had his hand on his shoulder. "Thanks for convincin' me te join the Glee club. It was probably the best decision I could make. Also thanks for bein' me friend Finn Hudson."
"Anytime man, I'm going to miss you Rory," Finn said as he walked away from him and join the others. Brittany let go of Rory and joined the others too. Now it was time to say goodbye to Sam.
Their goodbye started off with a hug first. "You know Rory, you have been the best person in my life. We've gone through so many obstacles, but we've always managed to pull through. Except for that one fight we had but that was because if Sebastian," Sam explained.
Rory let out a tiny laugh. "You have been amazin' te me. From when I got sick, te when Rick hurt me, ye've always been there for me. And I love ye so much for that."
Sam leaned in to kiss Rory. They passionately made out while the glee club watched, but they didn't care. No. Because this was their moment. Their last moment for three months. Rory broke the kiss and cried more tears, "Goodbye Sam."
"Goodbye Rory," Sam said as he too started crying. They hugged one last time before Rory grabbed his bags, and walked into the security area. Sam watched as Rory went through the metal detector with a very sad face on his look. The last thing Sam saw Rory do was wave at him and smile, then he was off to his gate.
The Glee club walked up to Sam and gave him one big hug as he cried. They all could see his pain, Rory was gone. Gone for three months now. This was going to be the longest three months of Sam's life.
The Glee club let go of Sam, but then Sam's phone vibrated. The Blonde smiled as he saw that Rory had texted him. Sam cried more tears as he smiled at the text. Words could not described how Sam felt for Rory.
Rory- You're amazing and I can't wait until I see you again, I love you
