"Ana, I need to go handle a few things at the office." Christian whispered.

"mmm." Ana moaned.

They had been snuggled together and she really didn't want to get up or to get out of Christian's strong embrace. She moved closer and he kissed her forehead. It had been a quiet few weeks and his gut told him that something was about to happen.

"There is a problem at the office, can you stay out of trouble while I check it out?" He seemed very serious and Ana nodded at him. He smiled, kissed her and then hopped out of bed. He had no idea what the extent of the problem so he didn't see a reason to alarm Ana, he would go there, handle everything and then head back home and maybe sneak in a few hours with his favourite girl.

After a quick shower and a few rapid phone calls, Christian left home. He wasn't sure what awaited him, but Ros sounded extremely agitated when she tried to tell him that they had a serious problem and she could not explain what the issue was over the phone.

As he entered the building, he could tell that something was up, the security guard seemed very edgy, unlike his normal self. Taylor noticed it to and stayed back as Christian took the elevator up to is office. As he stepped of the elevator, he felt his body fill with anger, everything was a mess, files were thrown everywhere, there were broken pieces of glass all around and Christian searched the room for Ros. She as standing at the end of the hall with a few security, Christian marched over and looked at the records room, everything was destroyed, every single box of files and paperwork were shredded and dumped into the records room.

"Taylor, bring me that security guard…now" Christian barked into his phone.

He was trying to maintain his cool, it was hard, he was furious, and he knew that someone was up to something very serious to have destroyed his entire office floor. Every office was trashed, every room was destroyed, and it all seemed too superficial for him to believe that this was business.

"Taylor, something doesn't feel right here, I can't place my figure on it, but I have this nagging feeling that there is something more to this." Christian said to Taylor when they were done questioning the security guard.

He had no information at all, he had been on duty from the morning, after his shift handover he had walked the building and when he had gotten to the executive floor, he called in the incident just as Ros had arrived and took over the situation.

They had summoned the night guard, but he was unreachable, his phone was off and he wasn't home, although nothing was taken from his home. Security were monitoring him and the rest of the staff to see who else could have been involved.

Two hours later Taylor barged into Christians discussion with Ros, he looked stern and more serious than he normally looked.

"Mr Grey, we need to go, I got and SOS from Gail."

"Fuck…this was a fucking diversion. Ros keep me posted." Christian yelled as he marched to the elevator.

"Get Sawyer on the line!" He said to Taylor.

"Negative Sir, I have tried there is not answer on any of the phones at Escala."

As they arrived at Escala, Taylor drew his gun, he seemed like he could sense the danger and he was ready for anything. When the elevator pinged and they entered the living area Gail was bending over Sawyer, the was blood everywhere, she was putting pressure on his chest and she seemed faint like she was barely holding on to her own life.

"Gail!" Taylor said and ran to her.

Christian called for an ambulance, within a few minutes they had arrived, they took Gail to the ambulance as she was shot in her shoulder and Sawyer took two bullets in the chest, thankfully missing his heart by inches. Some of the other staff has a few minor injuries, mostly grazing and some well they were just not that lucky, five security detail had been shot dead.

The worst of the whole mess was that Ana was gone and Christian felt like he wanted to kill someone. He should have been more careful, things had been so quiet and so wonderful with Ana that he forgot about the dangers that lurked. He let his guard down and now she was gone and so many people had gotten hurt.

Once Gail was stabilized Christian and Taylor got to see her, she seemed ok, the medication had blocked the pain out, but her face still read turmoil.

"It all happened so fast, I was taking Ms Steele some breakfast, she hadn't come down and I was a bit worried about her. When I got there, she was feeling ill so I rushed down to get her some medication and call you but as I got down the stairs as huge looking man had come in and shot me in the shoulder. Sawyer and the rest of the security rushed in and he just started shooting at them, then he went up the stairs and dragged Ms Steele out, he must have knocked her out because she was not moving. I pressed the SOS button Taylor set up because the phone lines where dead."

"Could you describe the man, we need to find out everything we can, and time is against us." Christian asked.

"Yes, I can, and I will probably never forget his face."

"Taylor, get a sketch artist in here, I want his face all over the news, if anyone spotted him, they need to come forward. Offer a reward, that will make sure they will come forward." Christian felt helpless as he uttered the last words. He knew if he had to, he would give up all his wealth to get Ana back. He hated himself for being so foolish to not listen to his gut instinct. He knew something was fishy, he sensed it, yet he wasted time and then …then some bastard walked right into his house and took his Ana.

What he could not understand was how he got into the building, his own security team were all injured or dead. Welch was working on the information that they had given him, and it took him two hours before he called to say that the perpetrator had been seen in camera footage for the last two weeks and that he had been using the ID of a tenant from a different floor. While the actual person was away on business in Japan. Somehow this perpetrator had the mans ID, finger prints, password and codes that got him access easily. Welch also confirmed that a camera two streets away from grey house picked up footage of him passing by at midnight. It was clear that this man was the one who destroyed Grey house and kidnapped Ana but the question was why? Christian had no idea who he was.

Jinny paced the floor of the cheap motel room that he and Miwa were renting, he had watched the news and Ricardo's face as plastered all over every station. He was wanted for burglary, murder and kidnapping. Jinny felt sick to his stomach, he knew what they needed to do but Miwa was terrified.

"That bitch be crazy, if she finds out we squealed she will kill us." Miwa said.

"I know you scared but we have to do this, that innocent girl is going to lose her life because to those two crazy coots. We need to stop them and if we die doing that then at least our death would have meant saving someone's life."

Ana felt her head spinning, she felt nauseated and in pain. All she remembered was hearing gun shots, running out the door and a huge man throwing her right of her balance. She could tell that she was not alone and the voices she heard where so familiar.

"Listen I am not paying you a cent until you clean up this mess."

"You really want to cross me?"

"Ricardo, you don't want to try me, just like I know you, I know others like you."

"Is that a treat?"

"She stays here until you clean up your mess, I need to make and appearance to keep my plan in motion."

Elena arrived at Escala, she and Sarah were both excited, but they dialled down their happiness and put on their concerned face. The entire Grey gang were there, huddled together and concern written all over their faces.

"I don't understand what all the fuss is about?" Sarah said in her high-pitched voice.

"Yes, she could have ran away and staged all this." Elena added.

"That is enough both of you!" Grace shouted. Her face read anger and both Sarah and Elena were surprised. Grace was always such a soft and humble person.

"Mother, calm down." Christian said. He came down the stairs dressed in a black jean and black sweater. His face was hard and read fury, he walked to his mother and put his arms around her. She looked like she was about to cry but she held it together.

"I am sorry ladies, come let's have a drink." Grace said.

Ana heard the door crash, she was still blind folded, and she knew without a doubt that Christian had come for her. She heard a few shots fired and a few seconds later she felt the blindfold fall away as he untied her and pulled her into his arms.

"How did you find me?" She whispered.

"It is a long story."

…

The police arrived at Escala, when the elevator pinged Sarah and Elena where surprised to see them. They were even more surprised when they said they had an arrest warrant for them.

"Are you insane?" they asked in drunken union.

"No, now come with us and there will be no fuss."

Christian walked in with Ana and Sarah dropped her drink, they looked at each other in shock. It was not possible, when did he leave, how did he find her?

"Get them out of my sight." Christian said.

Before they could speak or move the police hand grabbed them and hand cuffed them. Sarah yelled back to Ana that it wasn't over and that she would come back for her. Elena was quiet but, in her eyes, Ana could see that she was furious that she got caught.

Later that night Ana looked worried and Christian asked her,

"Are you ok?"

"Yes, how did you find me?" Ana asked.

"Well it wasn't easy, it is not like you left me a trail of breadcrumbs to follow." He said as he pulled her to him.

"I am serious." She replied.

"We had security and the local police looking for him, his sketch was out on every network. Then Jinny came forward and told us that Elena and Sarah had planned this whole thing to get rid of you. They didn't want to be part of it so they left her, but she still called Ricardo. Jinny told us that she had a lake house that no one knew about and that she would have taken you there to first torture you, he was sure that she would not kill you immediately. I am glad for that because I have no idea what I would do if I lost the two of you." Christian said placing a kiss on her forehead.

Ana looked to him in surprise and her eyes widened as he showed her the white stick she has dropped on the floor when she heard the gun shot. Tears filled her eyes and she put her arms around his neck and hugged him as tightly as she could.

"I would have fought back, I would have used all the training my father taught me but when I saw those two blue lines on that test, and I heard the gun shot all I could think of was protecting our unborn baby. When he knocked my head, I just took it and prayed that somehow, someway you would find me, and everything would be ok. While I was there, I knew I could fight my way out, but I couldn't take that risk. In that moment I knew and understood why security and control is so important to you."

Christian wiped Ana's tears away, he kissed her forehead and then her lips, he looked into her eyes and said,

"When I walked into this room and you were gone, I felt my whole world shatter but when I picked this test up. I prayed, I begged God to let me find you to give me a miracle and then Jinny called. All I could do was pray that they didn't do anything to you and that I would get to you on time. I told the family everything and then they had the audacity to show up here to check on me. My mother was furious, she even screamed at them, but I calmed her down. She got then drunk so they would notice when I left."

"I wish you had never known those two-evil women." Ana said.

"I wish that too, but none of it matters. The three of them are in jail and they will stay in there. Jinny and Miwa are halfway across the earth with the money from the reward and you are right here where you belong. In my arms. I love you Ana!"

"I love you too!" Ana replied.

A/N: Dear readers

As I sat up and wrote this last chapter, I felt a little sad that it is over. I do apologies for taking forever to upload this final chapter. Right now, I am in the middle of completing my studies and exams is knocking on my door. This story completion was on my goal list for 2020 and with all the hiccups and craziness I decided to just finish it off. At least I would be able to mark off one thing on my 2020 goal list. I know some of you will be sad but please give me some time and I will be back with Nothing in common but love 2.
