Pyrrha pulled a red t-shirt she pulled over her head and smoothed out every crease the naked eye could see. Along with a pair of skin-tight denim jeans and white Ike walking shoes, sponsorship brand free and causal enough for now. Jaune, like every time the girls needed to get ready, was waiting just outside their dorm all ready prepared.

Pyrrha's hands carefully tied her hair into a ponytail and turned to the side. "How do I look?" She spread her arms out as Yang, brush in hand, trailed her eyes from head to toe.

"Nice," Yang leaned forward to pick up a blouse from the pile of clothes in front of her and inspected it. "Bring a jacket if you have one, might get cold later today."

"Right," Pyrrha pulled out the only one she brought and sighed, it was red, her favorite color but perhaps it was getting too much.

She peered into the bathroom mirror, with Blake applying some makeup it was more a glimpse of herself. None the less it was noted by Pyrrha that she needed something to better bring out her eyes and perhaps a shirt that didn't pop out her bosom more than necessary. A cute blouse or tee would have been a better choice if she had one. She wanted him to keep his eyes above her figure, which was meant to be used as a diversion in combat not showing off.

"It's a friendly outing between teams, not a date." Pyrrha reminded herself, swinging swords at the other late at night wasn't exactly an ideal time to try and engage in anything but small talk.

Jaune had been busy with Cardin then Blake and detention, there just wasn't that much time to get to know him better. Not that she never tried, Pyrrha knew he is from Mistral so that's common ground off the bat. Even if they grew up in different parts of the nation, and he had seven siblings while she remained an only child.

They were just going to a small-time dance club, with an active setting, it seemed idyllic for fun times between pals and to better socialize in an inviting setting. Or getting a better idea of who a specific boy is.

"You've punched your way through several tournaments Pyrrha, talking to someone shouldn't be hard."

Even if it was, she'd never been approached in years for anything but autographs and

The place Yang dragged everyone out to was far smaller then Jaune would have thought, it was a compacted two-story building like most structures in the city. Double doors marked the clear entrance and the dimmed windows barely let out nothing from inside the place. It definitely looked like it could hold a hundred people if they were all packed tightly in, hopefully the second floor was open.

"You know I was expecting something more... eccentric, especially when it was her choosing the venue." Amber said.

"I think it's fine for why we're here." He replied more to both statements then one.

"There's actually this place far cooler on the other side of town but I..." Yang bit her lip. "I heard it's going through repairs because of something, plus Ruby couldn't get in any way. This is a good close second though and we don't have to worry about any lines to get in."

Above the door was the words Elysium Oasis flashing brightly to catch the eye.

"Quite a bold name choice if I say so myself," Amber added her thoughts aloud. "I hope it's not compensating for some inadequacy."

"Well it looks active considering the state of the city," Blake said, they had passed by more than a few dust shops on the way here.

The situation didn't look like it was getting better.

"I'm sure the police will and if not, Huntsmen will conduct their own raids against the White Fang soon enough." Weiss said.

Blake scoffed. "Maybe they'll go in gun blazing and cull the herds, Weiss." Jaune spun around and moved Blake further back intending to nip this in the bud before it could go anywhere.

"Personally I can't wait to watch you guys flounder around like fish." Yang smiled viciously.

"I don't know, I've had to learn dancing from a pack of ruthless sisters," Jaune rose to meet her, he wasn't going to take a taunt from her when he was practically forced to learn as a kid.

"Oh, well you and me vomit boy come and show me what you got!"

Yang marched confidently towards the twin doors with Ruby and soon the rest of WRRN close behind. Blake remained still and as Jaune turned to look at her face which had taken a calculating look towards the place.

"What's up?" She sighed while remaining rooted to the ground.

"Ever have that moment of regret where you're not sure why you went off to do something?"

"Not exactly-"

"You were launched off Beacon cliff without knowledge on how to land dummy," Amber's stern voice cut through and discarded his sentence with ease. "Don't you dare say you've never had a molecule of regret."

"Okay, maybe at one..." Pyrrha floated into mind. "Two points I did, but we came out this far so why turn back now and miss something?" Jaune extended his hand.

Blake stared at it then laughed. "Alright," She brushed past it with a grin splitting her face. "Let's follow them in."

Inside the place had made every use of its limited space and was thankfully able to house their party. Yang had pretty much made sure that everyone, save for Ruby, had at least one drink. It was amusing watching her argue with Weiss over it, but in the end, the heiress had given in and ordered something. After Yang had all but dragged Jaune out to the dance floor.

"Don't you dare lose to this bimbo," Amber laughed. "Come on, back your words, or was it merely empty conjecture?!"

"You're surprisingly into this!"

"Course vomit boy!" Yang yanked his arm propelling his body forwards and onto the dance floor, lights flashed, a few people cursed him out as he bumped into them, the music got more defining then when he entered.

"I missed this," Amber smiled. "Now show this chick what you're made of or I'll give you a headache!"

"Well, he certainly can dance," Weiss noted as the two blondes began moving their bodies in intricate yet fun movements, as part of a wealthy family the heiress only knew ballroom dancing.

Between training with her Rapier, learning the piano, and singing there wasn't much time for anything else that didn't make the family look good an earned more money. Leisure moments like this felt kind of like rebelling in away. She could already see Jacques scowl at her going to such an unconventional environment. Still, there was one thing that started to bug her further.

"I still don't understand why Blake is so hostile towards me..." Weiss trailed off as Ruby sipped a new can of soda, thoughtfully provided by the Schnee. "What could she possibly see in those terrorists as worthy of defending."

While Weiss had gone out of her way to avoid scenarios that could've involved them butting heads they were about to go with her team out this afternoon. Everything about Blake had slowly bubbled its way to the surface in the lead up to today until she could no longer contain it. Right now she needed someone to vent it off on and Nora required a freshly baked pancake to properly shut her mouth.

"Maybe she used to be in the White Fang before and still has sympathies for them?" Trying to separate herself from the group didn't seem to deter the ginger either as she slurred out.

"Quiet Nora," Weiss ordered not wanting to hear some abused theory from the redhead. "I'm talking with Ruby."

"If you want to know so bad why don't you just ask Blake?" Ruby tossing the remainder of the cookie into her mouth.

"With her seeming so approachable for me in the rare insistence I could speak with her why didn't I think of this sooner." Blue eyes rolled and Ruby shrugged.

"Want me to ask her?" She offered.

"No, Ruby I, ugh." She pinched her nose. "I doubt you'd get anything worthwhile from it."

"Why are you even worrying about it?" Ruby asked and Weiss made to answer but paused as soon as her mouth opened. Nothing came out as she tried and failed to come up with anything to say.

"If you can't find anything then aren't you kind of making this your problem?"

That statement seemed to strike a cord within Weiss. She placed her hands behind her to allow herself to lean back without falling onto her bed.

"What am I trying to accomplish by complaining to Ruby?"

It was a pointless exercise in every sense, she'd get nothing but quick gratification and even if the younger girl agreed with her it ultimately solved nothing. It's not like talking to Blake would change her mind, she seemed deeply entrenched with her statements was it even worth worrying about...?

"I do not know her and I don't have to," Weiss wanted to sigh, it was all starting to seem stupid to worry about it now. "If that's what that girl wants to believe then fine, it's not affecting me unless I keep letting it."

"Why don't you just ignore Blake?" Ruby conveniently suggested. "If you don't get along then just avoid her."

"Yes," Weiss nodded with a smile. "Thank you Ruby, that actually helped."

"Really?! I just didn't want it to be awkward now or when we decide to sit with them but hey, I helped!" Ruby squealed, like a child drawing a circle right for the first time would, and Weiss couldn't help but laugh.

"Wow, that sounds weird," Nora said listening to the light chuckles coming from the heiress. "Didn't know you express anything that wasn't bossy!"

Ren sighed. "Just drink Nora."

"I don't have hands but I'll mentally cap all the same," Amber said smugly.

"You could barely even see what I was doing?"

"Call it an instinctive thought."

"Pff! I was watching you the whole time!" Yang was not similarly minded as she planted herself next to him and ordered a new glass. "This is my second favorite way to get sweat, don't feel bad that I still won!" Yang bellowed. "Does anyone else wish to challenge me?!"

"I'll pass." Blake was quick to say.

She had only made it halfway into her first glass before having it pushed as far into the counter as she could manage. Proving to be well versed at common sense that Jaune felt keen to follow closely.

Nora didn't look like she held her drinks at all, she had one pint out in front of her and was already sleepy drunk leaning against Ren who shook his head. Weiss looked like she was right behind the redhead and Pyrrha was carefully working through a second glass and didn't seem to hear Yang's cry for an opponent.

"Rubies?" Her little sister hesitated for a moment before jumping off her seat and following Yang onto the floor.

"Oh, this will be fun to watch." If Amber was on a chair Jaune felt like she would be scraping the legs on the wood floor to get a better view, he turned on the stool to observe them for her.

"So you were taught how to dance by your sisters?" Pyrrha asked.

"More like I learned alongside them, there are seven of them and sheer numbers always seems to rules in the Arc household." It was annoying at times but that seemed like it was par for the course with siblings, especially the older ones like Saphron. "Unless you're my mother, then it's all dictatorial."

"Too younger to defend yourself against them?" Pyrrha swished her glass as she said so.

"The oldest is Saphron and she's just four years ahead of me."

"Doesn't stop her from treating me like a baby." Yeah, it was all in good fun but he wasn't the youngest Arc kid by a long shot.

"Branding my hair, dressing me up in ridiculous outfits, laughing at sappy romance films, and more or less doing whatever they said."

"Don't enjoy braids?" Amber asked only half paying attention as ruby awkwardly tried mimicking Yang's hip bouching movements.

"This might surprise you but I fashion myself as warriors wolf tail kinda guy, like yours Pyrrha." Jaune spared a glance towards his partner as she reached a hand to gently stroked down her hair's impressive length.

"I-I think this is more of a ponytail."

"I know what I said." Arms crossed to better illustrate his defiance towards cultural norms.

Amber and Pyrrha laughed although the latter's echoed like bells. "I suppose that's one way to look at it, do you know who to cook and clean as well?"

"That was more my mom then sisters, she thought it'd be good for all of us to know."

"That is useful to know," Pyrrha nodded her approval "Singing?"

"No," Jaune shook his head violently. "I can play the guitar later if you like."

"That sounds lovely!" She smiled more wildly than before.

"I think you're done for now Pyr." Jaune pushed the glass away from her hand.

"O-Okay, that's fine "

Emerald peered onto the image of Cardin Winchester on Mercury's scroll, the only time she would even sit on his bed was now. Even thing she green hair girl had a feeling she was giving ammo for him to use later. The image made Winchester looked so much like an asshole it was as if he was designed to be that way.

"So Jaune Arc was bullied by this guy, ever figure out why?" She asked.

"Nah, just that he stopped after a field trip to Forever Fall, there are rumors though."

"I wouldn't trust them," Emerald quickly dismissed, Cinder taught her that while some might hold some truth to them, rumors were always to be ignored in favor of facts.

"This guy's pro-Faunus, that much we know for sure," It wasn't much but it could work if they Emerald used a Faunus student for this, perhaps the one Arc allegedly helped.

"What about his team?"

"Him and that Blake girl are getting close, but beyond that, the rest are just teammates." Mercury shrugged. "So we're using a Faunus, not sure if someone random would invoke the response we want, might help if it's someone he knows."

"It has to be as authentic as possible, we can't have anyone suspecting foul play, especially when we're right under Ozpin's nose." Emerald hated to agree with Mercury but getting rid of this Jaune Arc wasn't going to just get easy for them.

A clap had the two shooting up from their sitting positions on the bed, both were startled into a defensive stance. They became all the more guarded when they noticed Neo on the chair their dorm was provided with. The girl had broken off from her illusion and fell back into her regular attire.

"How long have you been sitting there?!" He demanded and the multi-colored girl tapped her chin in thought before spreading out her fingers in one of her hands.

Five minutes or seconds, he mute never specified before typing away a message on her scroll.

That Blake girl is a Faunus you know

"She is?" Emerald more demanded than asked Neo who calmly replied.

I've been following them for a while now, trying to figure out what makes Blondie so important to you two, and overheard some interesting things.

While Emerald wanted to fly on a tangent aimed at the girl for sticking her nose where it didn't belong, but if what she said was true then it was an opportunity not to be passed over. "What interesting things?"

About the White Fang and the Girly being a former member, as you know only Faunus can join up unless she's somehow a special case.

This was something they could use, it was better than perfect for what they were planning and the option seemingly fell into Emerald's lap. Even if it begged a nagging question.

"Why are you tell us this all this?" Mercury, finally using that head on his shoulders, asked and Emerald looked to the mute for an answer.

I'm bored here, whatever you guys are planning to get it has to break the monotony learning pointless junk from that Port guy who thinks he's clever

Emerald couldn't help but agree with that last sentiment, whoever hired that man must have been high on something. "So you just want us to be your entertainment?"

Neo smiled and nodded eagerly, Emerald could detect no lie coming from the girl but Cinder was always better at this. Still, it was hard to see how the girl might want to sabotage them, the mute didn't know their target, did she?

"We'll have to dig into this hidden Faunus business later to see if it really sticks."

"Well if you want entertainment, you're sure to see something go down soon." Mercury said.

The little psycho grinned wildly at the prospect.

To say that Neo was lying through her teeth about being bored would only be half right, watching Blondie and Bow top do small talk was dull. Watching him way swords with Nikos with dull. Them walking to detention was one of the few times she could confidently follow and observe him from a reasonable distance and was getting sick of it, she wanted someone to get the guy to do anything interesting. Otherwise, this truly was a complete waste of time she could spend productively stealing ice cream.

As it happened Crop top and Sliver head were more than willing to oblige her, whatever they were scheming it was guaranteed to not bode well for that bow girl. Perhaps Jaune Arc would show off something noteworthy if his friend was threatened?

Or everything would just remain as dull as before.

"Whatever's going down it has to be fun to watch at least."
