I got this idea from jabakush on Instagram. Their art is so good but I had to wait for all the parts to come out until I could finally write this and post it. I totally recommend you check it out cause its super cute and I never knew I would ship Felinette.

Marinette walked towards the entrance of the graduation ball. She wore a handmade dress. Her sewing skills had improved a lot over the years. She made the ball gown the signature pink she always wore. It ruffled midway until it turned into a softer, lighter fabric towards the bottom. Thin mesh off the shoulder sleeves helped keep the dress in place. The same fabric was used to create a bow around her lower back that looked like butterfly wings. The heels she wore to match were already hurting her feet as she wasn't used to them.

Her hair had grown much longer than her first year of school. It hung just below her shoulders in a half up half down style. A certain blonde caught her attention. Adrien was walking arm in arm with Kagami. They had been dating for years now. It was finally her senior year and she couldn't help but feel down. Of course, Adrien would be going with Kagami. I guess I'm not totally over him yet.

"Hey you," a familiar voice called out to her. Marinette had to take a double-take. Felix walked towards her in a dark suit. "Give me your hand," he extended a hand out to her, a blush dusting his cheeks. She just stared at him.

She finally snapped out of it. "Felix?! You're going to the ball too?"

"Adrien invited me and I figured I didn't have anything better to do. I'll escort you inside." Marinette was confused at his sudden change in demeanor.

She took his hand with a grateful smile. "Thank you." Felix is being unusually nice. He's not plotting something, is he?

"You'll trip in that dress all alone. You're clumsy." He said under his breath. That was the Felix she knew.

They were finally graduating soon. She felt like it was expected that she should've moved on after a few years. Everyone else had their own dates. I hope I don't run into them. Felix watched her with a careful gaze. He couldn't help but feel jealous of her affection for her cousin.

Marinette shook the thoughts from her head. This was a celebration she had no time to be down in the dumps. Se should at least try to enjoy it.

She looked around the room. Their school had rented a beautiful building for them to celebrate in. Alya and Nino were laughing at the refreshment table.

"Marinette!" a voice called out to her. Luka walked up to the two of them. His dyed hair had grown out considerably, he pulled it back in a low ponytail. He wore a white suit that contrasted nicely with his dark hair.

"Luka! you're attending too?" Marinette smiled at the older boy. She didn't notice Felix's glare pointed in his direction.

"You look beautiful Marinette. The dress looks amazing on you too." Luka smiled at her, totally ignoring Felix.

"Thank you! This dress took me weeks to make!" Marinette smiled and both boys didn't miss the light blush on her cheeks.

"You're Felix, right?" Luka threw offhandedly. "Nice to meet you too. Mind if I take over from here?" He stepped closer into Felix's personal space. Felix knew he had no say in the situation. She wasn't his and probably didn't even consider him a friend. In the end, he just nodded.

"May I have the first dance with you Marinette?" Marinette's hand left Felix's and she went into the arms of Luka.

"I'd love to Luka!" She briefly turned around to Felix. "Thank you for escorting me, Felix." He gave a small nod as they walked away.

Luka gently swung Marinette to the music. "Thank you for going out of your way to dance with me, Luka," Marinette smiled warmly as he followed the beat. She followed his lead, hand resting in his.

"I wanted to, of course, you don't have to thank me."

"Wow. It's pretty hard to believe my batch is graduating already." The song was beginning to come to a close. "Make sure to dance with Juleka too! After all, you came here to accompany your little sis right?"

"Ah actually…" Marinette's eyes glittered up at him and he couldn't muster the courage to tell her the truth. "Yes, that's true." The song ended and Marinette gave a curtsy.

"Thank you for the dance Marinette," Luka lifted his head from his bow.

"Thank you too, Luka. I'll just go get some fresh air for a bit," Marinette turned from him. He let out a lovelorn sigh as she left.

Luka watched her receding back as she headed outside. "I came here for you…" is what he wanted to say.

The cool night air was incredibly comforting from the hot ballroom. Music could be heard faintly from outside. Marinette sat on a bench outside. She let out a yawn, covering her mouth.

"What're you doing out here?" Marinette let out an eep at the voice.

"Oh, you again Felix," Marinette let out a relieved sigh. She smiled up at the boy. He looked so much like Adrien but for some reason it always felt different being around him. With Adrien, she had begun to feel guilty and inadequate instead of her usual shy self. She started to avoid them. She thought being around Felix would make her feel the same way since they looked so similar but she was oddly comfortable with him.

"Why aren't you with that guy? Wasn't he your date?" Felix looked away from her eyes and into the stars as he let out a sigh.

Marinette looked at him confused. "Oh! Do you mean Luka? He's just a friend! We just had one dance together," Marinette smiled up at him somehow feeling like she had to explain herself.

Felix was shocked by her answer. He rubbed the back of his neck, a blush seeping into his cheeks. "I see…" he couldn't help but smile. Things got quiet for a bit as he avoided her gaze.

He swallowed his anxiety and held out a hand for her. "Felix?" She blinked at him, not sure what he wanted.

Marinette didn't miss the red covering his cheeks and ears as he said, "want to dance with me?" Was this some kind of joke? He was looking at her so seriously she was confused. What is he up to?

"I-I don't really mind but why so suddenly?" Felix's eyebrows drew together in frustration. He couldn't help but be jealous of the lackluster answer he received when she was so excited to dance with Luka.

"Whatever!" He pulled her into his arms. He gently caught her and looked deep into her eyes. "I'm better than who I used to be…"

Marinette blushed at his sudden actions and words. Why is my heart… beating so fast? She rested a hand on his shoulder as he pulled her flush against him. She could hear her heart pounding in her ears so loudly she almost missed his last words as he continued.

"So... don't doubt me so much," he smiled down at her like she'd never seen before. The moment felt magical. The cool night air, calming her burning hot skin where he was touching and the stars shining over their heads. It felt nice to be separated from everyone else, the faint music leading them.

The more she looked at him the less he looked like Adrien and the more she recognized him for who he was. She smiled up at him softly as he stared into her eyes, their bodies moving on their own. Maybe it was time she let someone else into her heart.

"Y'know Felix…" Her smile widened at the thought and she gripped his hand, finally meeting his gaze. "I'm really starting to like the new you!" Felix felt his heart skip a few beats as he looked at her dazzling smile.

Claps rang out in the small garden surprising them both. They turned to the source of the noise. Marinette let out a surprised gasp.

Luka let out a tight smile in their direction. "Wow. You two are really good dancers," he said dryly. His tone not matching his words.

Felix let go of her waist, putting a protective arm between her and Luka. "You aren't her date, right? Need anything else from her?" Felix gritted out passive-aggressively.

"She's been outside for a while so I just wanted to check up on her. Is there something wrong?" Luka smirked at the defensive boy.

Marinette looked between the two boys confused. Had they always disliked each other?

Felix gritted his teeth before shouting, "Shut up. I know what your intentions are… Just so you know I don't give up easily! It's just you and me now!" Marinette and Luka both stared wide-eyed at him. Marinette had no idea what was going on.

Before Luka could respond, Felix grabbed Marinette's hand and pulled her away muttering, "Come on I'll take you home."

Luka scoffed as they left, crossing his arms. "So it's a declaration of war huh," he said to himself, shaking his head.

He wasn't expecting that. Just when he thought he had a chance at her another Adrien showed up.

Felix helped Marinette into the taxi and shut the door behind her, before getting in on the other side. "What was that all about, Felix? You suddenly started yelling at Luka…" Felix looked guiltily at her. He wished he hadn't shown her that side of himself.

"It's nothing really… don't worry about it. Juts talk between men." Marinette wasn't fully convinced.

"Right well… thank you for offering me a ride home," Marinette smiled at him and he couldn't keep his heart in check.

"I-it's just because I saw you looking sad before, don't think too much of it," he looked away covering the incoming blush.

Marinette pouted. "So that's it. You just approached me out of pity didn't you? I knew something was up," she didn't know why she was so disappointed in his answer. "You suddenly started treating me nicely even though you used to call me annoying before," she sighed, fiddling with her fingers.

Felix glanced in her direction and saw her looking down again. He knew he should explain himself. "Maybe it's because I was… also a little jealous." Marinette snapped her head to look into his eyes. He didn't look like he was joking. His face was flushed as he continued, "But now… you're getting over him, right?" Felix asked hopefully.

She was so oblivious to his feelings and the blue-haired boy's feelings too. He mustered up the courage. He had gotten this far he might as well fully confess so she could understand.

"So from now on, start looking at me instead. Got it?" He looked up at her through his bangs, biting his bottom lip.

She stared at him wide-eyed, heat covering her whole body as she realized he was serious. This was not how she expected the night to end, especially not with Felix.

"What!?"
