Oliver's Vision
Memories of certain elements altitude inside him, flashes of particular people he has interacted, acquainted, or confronted before.
His fight against Malcolm, in his first year in Starling City as the vigilante. Malcolm, as the Dark Archer, overpowered the Hood with distinct skills Oliver has never reached himself. The Hood thrusted his fist in him, wielded his bow as a staff to bat him. The Dark Archer blocked every shot Oliver stroke at him. He was too skilled for the wants of Oliver to really reach in the future. He was too weak to batter him down. Eventually he beat him, but the victory never went to his direction. Tommy's death took a bigger toll on him. But Superman and Batman were there to lower his intentions of dropping to his death.
His fight with Slade Wilson, in second year. Under unfortunate circumstances that resulted in them oppositely abreast each, caused from the effects of the Mirakuru which surged in Slade for years, since he was first injected with it. And the death of their closest ally, which Slade fingered the blame on Oliver. His alias Deathstroke was a man too much to even abolish behind bars. Deathstroke was a monster to Oliver, detracting all of Oliver's loved ones. Most notably, Thea and Moira. His mother, Moira, slain by sword. Thea cyst in leaving Starling City, to avoid its everlasting darkness. At least a Girl of Steel came to aid in Oliver's tough battle with his former mentor.
His fight with Ra's Al Ghul, in third year. The encounter was mostly resolved by Malcolm, who killed Sara Lance, drugging Thea into killing her, to escape his own gain. But Ra's Al Ghul was a formidable foe to Oliver. So much more, the latter would give himself up to train under the arts of the League's style. Private organsiation almost dosed his city into chaos, only to be saved by the man himself, whom turned from becoming a member, into a brief hero, who also killed the League's leader.
His fight with Damian Darhk, in fourth year. Happened after he came back from a 6-month rest, living with her girlfriend Kara. To reshape Star City's darkness. Darhk was a man contrasted to Ra's Al Ghul. Empowers magic, effortless takes down Oliver. Not relying on his League skills. Eventually Green Arrow took him down, with his willing kill, to avenge a friend.
His fight with Adrian Chase, in fifth year. Prometheus. He wanted Oliver to suffer, break him. A complete reincarnation of how the Joker wanted Batman to suffer, if a GCPD officer had to remark it in Green Arrow's face off against his dark variation. A coldblooded murderer. Not wearing a replica of Oliver, but using Oliver's previous suit, one he wore for 3 years. Adrian was a mental disordered maniac, keen in destroying everything Oliver adored. His Team Arrow friends and allies. Even his son. He imprisoned them all in Lian Yu, to sicken Oliver to coming all the way to the same place he transformed his stubborn, irresponsible motto into a better man, decayed of darkness. Luckily Oliver had extra allies, thanks to Supergir, Superman, and Batman. Supergirl and Superman took down all of Talia Al Ghul's men. Batman beat Talia, and saved the hostages herself and Adrian took. Though Adrian was one of Oliver's most psychotic obsessed wills to destroy his heart, Oliver managed to put him down, assisted by Batman, whom saved his son.
His fight fight with Ricardo Diaz, in sixth year. Star City's criminal mastermind kingpin. He controlled all of Star City's assets. Corrupted the SCPD. A waging war that Oliver couldn't handle. He had allies, but the FBI, happened to corrupt them. Rene, Dinah, Curtis. Felicity soon left. The Diggle. Oliver was all alone in a chaotic process-to-utopia. But reality showed him otherwise. Supergirl and the Flash. Two people Oliver was close to, even when they respectively were circled in their own battles.
Those very memories. Six years of a lifetime of facing crime. Each slowly going extinct. Precise six years in his crusade that took the living hell out of him. He always disbelieved that he will never see the positives, enlightened to him. But the real facts stand before him. Kara Zor-El. Hope and light. Fate solved their lives into marriage. A life Oliver never expected. He witnessed metahumans die, and vigilantes fall. Nevertheless, he obtained a bundle of light in him. This is what caused the master of Arches to finally rise to the white veil, accepting the light to cover him.
"I won't let the darkness consume me. I will deny it, and consume its riddance", Oliver expressed. Many of his closest allies and comrades materialised beside Oliver. Flash, White Canary, Batman, Superman, and the lady of his dreams: Supergirl. The gooey black substances crawl into his skin. "I won't be darkness's puppet! I won't be the monster! Battle not with monsters, as a monster. Lest you not become a monster!". The tightness of darkness hikes. Its pace-rate is slow. "I will create a symbol, just like Barry and Kara. I will reform my Green Arrow soul into a man who demonstrates the safe keeping of octillions in the multiverse! I will be known as the SILVER ARROW!", Oliver blew. Blue static charged particles evade enormously, unfastening the same goo that tried to devour him. Oliver, never regarded to anticipate, is driven to the light that appeared before his speech.
