"Leaf Stone are type of Evolution Stone that allow specific Pokémon to evolve" explain Brock

"Wow, hey why don't Max and I join the tournament as well?" asked Viv

"I almost forgot to tell you this; the rule is you can only enter with one Pokemon and each battle will be one on one" explain Marius

"I see, then I go with my Mightyena" inform Max as Mightyena cheered," Mightyena!"

"My Mudkip is the only Pokemon that can battle" added Vivi as Mudkip cheered," Mud!"

"Great, then let go!" shouted Marius

Everyone who still wearing their swimsuit arrive at the house where it is fill with kids who are Max's age with their parents," Wow, there is a lot of people here!" Vivi notice a familiar person among the kids," Hey Max, look it Tommy!" Everyone sees Tommy who is the only one not wearing a swimsuit with a different Pokémon, the group run toward Tommy who now notice them," Max! "

"Tommy, you are entering this tournament?" asked Max

"I am, this could be good training for my Makuhita" answered Tommy as Vivi check her Pokedex

"Hey guys, you should hurry to sign in for the tournament" inform Brock

"Good idea" replied Vivi as everyone check in with the owner of the Seashore House

"Alright, you kids and your Pokemons are in" inform the owner," Now, here is a paper that tell which group you kids are in"

Max, Vivi and Marius each grab a paper which have different letters on each of the paper.

"Look like Ralts and in group B" inform Max as his Mightyena cheered," Mightyena!"

"Me and Mudkip are in group A" said Vivi as her Mudkip cheered," Mud!"

"Spehal and I are in group D" added Marius as his Spheal cheered," Sph!"

"Wow, look like each of you are in a different group" inform Brock

"Hey; Brock can you take care of Ralts for me?" asked Max

"Sure!" nodded Brock as he grabs Ralts from Max's shoulder

After few hours, the tournament starts. The children who are enter the tournament are in their group that they are be assign to with their Pokémon by their side. The owner is facing them explain the rule," All right kids, listen up! Each round with be one on one! The winner of each group will face the other group's winner! Whoever win this tournament, will win 20 bottles of Soda Pop and a Leaf Stone!"

"Now let start this tournament!" shouted the owner causing everyone in the crowd cheer

"Are you ready, Mightyena?" asked Max as Mightyena roar," Mightyena!"

"Mudkip, let do our best!" cheered Vivi as Mudkip nod," Mudkip!"

"Spehal, let win this!" shouted Marius as Spehal cheer," Spehal"

Tommy is silent with his Pokemon

"Good luck, you guys!" cheered Brock as he is holding Ralts and cheering them.
