Alexzandra "Z" Laison, 17.
District 6 "Female"

Z awoke, disoriented. They didn't know where they were until they rolled over and could see the window. The sun was just beginning to rise, sunbeams peeking through trees. They could see distant, shining buildings which they figured was most likely a rich District, maybe One or Two. The shining buildings quickly disappeared and Z lied in bed thinking for a moment. They were starting to feel the withdrawal effects and they didn't have any morphling with them. As the effect of the drugs wore off, memories returned. Memories of blood, a sharp blade, their mother's lifeless eyes They shuddered pulling the fuzzy blanket around them tighter. They didn't regret what they did, but they did regret remembering. They wished they had brought some pills, just in case they did get reaped, but they didn't, and now here they were, on a train to their death. They pulled themself out of bed, stepping out of their room into the hallway. The kid who got reaped alongside them, Harry, was still asleep in his room across the hall. They padded towards the living-room-like space, where their two mentors, Dare and Sahara were passed out on the couch together, the TV still on, still playing the reaping recaps. They stepped over to the TV, turning it off and they continued into the dining room, sliding into the bench of the table. An Avox appeared next to the table, completely silently making Z jump.

"Oh, Hi." Z said with a little wave. The avox pulled a pad of paper out of their pocket, scribbling something down and showing it to Z. It read "Is there anything you want?" Z thought about it for a second and replied.

"Oh yeah, do you guys have tea?" The avox nodded and grinned, and she turned to leave. Z caught her arm before she could leave.

"Wait, what's your name?" Z dropped her arm as she pulled the notepad out again, scribbling something else down. She held the notepad out for them to see. It read "Constellation"

"Oh well, it's nice to meet you Constellation, I'm Z. Can I call you Connie?" She nodded and smiled, and turned moving away from the table silently. They went back to looking out the window until Connie came back with a tray. She placed it down in front of them, another note on the tray. This one read "All the different tea bags are over in the cabinet there" She pointed to a cabinet on the other side of the car, and Z nodded smiling at her.

"Thanks, Connie." She turned, leaving the room. Z stood, going to check out the tea cupboard. They opened it looking at their options, and grabbed the first familiar option, taking it back to the booth. They dropped the tea bag into the pot and sat while it steeped. As they sat, Dare, one of the mentors poked his head into the room.

"Hi, wow you're up early." He said, padding across the room. His bright red hair was sticking up in every direction. He didn't look like someone who had killed a person, but he had. Then again, what did a killer look like? Anyone could be one really, as proven by Z. Dare slid into the other side of the booth.

"Mind if I have some?" He said, gesturing at the teapot. They nodded and Dare poured two cups of tea, sliding one over to Z.

"Appreciate the sunrise while you can kid, who knows how many more you'll see."

Alvino "Vino" Thornton, 12
District 12 Male

Vino pulled the blanket around his shoulders tighter. His entire body had been cold as ice since yesterday when he fainted on stage in front of the entire District and country since the cameras were on him. Just the thought of it made him shudder. Briony, his District partner looked over at him with a slight look of concern. He furrowed his brow at her slightly.

"What?"

"What do you mean what?" Briony replied, looking at the tv again.

"You keep looking at me."

"Yeah, I know. You keep shivering"

"Well, I'm cold." Briony made a weird face at that.

"Why are you cold? It's like a thousand degrees in here." Vino shrugged, and Briony returned to watching the Reapings. So far they had gotten through the first six Districts reapings. The careers terrified him, really all of the tributes terrified him. He shuddered again at the thought of going into the arena, facing his almost certain death, facing the fact he may have to kill someone himself. Blood on his hands. Briony grabbed the remote, bored of reapings he supposed, and she switched the channel to some Capitol movie. Vino stood, to leave and Briony looked up at him as he moved towards his room.

"Where are ya going, kid?" Briony asked, grinning over her shoulder.

"Going back to my room."

"Aw cmon, you're just gonna leave me hanging?" Vino nodded and strutted back to his room, the blanket still slung around his shoulders like a cape. He walked back into his room, tossing his blanket cape on the bed. He opened the wardrobe, looking at all of his clothing options. He'd never seen this much clothing in his life except for in the higher end shops of Eleven, and he'd never had this many options. He pulled a large fuzzy sweater out and pulled it on. He felt a little warmer, as he climbed into his bed, grabbing a book he'd picked out from the small library earlier.

"Hey Vino, come look!" He started awake, his book falling to the floor with a heavy thud. He had no idea how long he'd been out for. He pulled himself out of bed, and grabbed a blanket, wrapping it around his shoulders. He stepped out of his room and made his way into the main car where Briony had her face pressed against the glass of the window. Their mentors, Josh and Lazaro were sitting on a nearby couch, watching Briony with amusement. She gestured for him to look which he did. Out the window, he could see the shining multicoloured buildings he had only ever seen on TV, the skyscrapers reached even higher than he'd thought they would. It all seemed so impossibly big and bright.

"Welcome to the Capitol kids, enjoy your stay." Josh said with a slight grin.

Scipia Karthus, 18
District 2 Female.

The train came to a stop, and Scipia could hear the cheering of the crowd outside of it, they were roaring, excited to get a glimpse of them. Their mentors, Omega and Sammus were standing by the door, and Omega gestured for them to come over and stand with them, which they did. She glanced over at her District partner, who had an everlasting goofy grin on his face. She didn't exactly trust him, bu the knew they would have to ally for the sake of the careers after the disaster of the Four reapings. The door slid open, and the pair stepped out of the train into the blinding sunlight and camera flashes. Scipia waved at the crowd, who roared their support for them. The Capitol always had a special love for careers, and Scipia figured she could use that to her advantage. Omega and Sammus pushed them along, and they eventually ended up inside a dimmer, quiet room. It appeared to be a sort of waiting room, and scattered around the room were pairs of tributes and their mentors. From where she was standing, she could see the pair from One, deep in conversation with one of their mentors, the girl from Seven fidgeting with a necklace around her neck. Scipia leaned over to Sammus.

"Are we allowed to go talk to the others?" She whispered. He furrowed his brow and turned to look at Omega, who shrugged. He turned back to her.

"I don't see why not." Sammus replied. Scipia grinned and began walking over to the One pair. The pair turned to look at her as she approached.

"Hi, I'm Scipia." She said, holding out a hand. The pair looked at each other with slight confusion, and the boy took her hand, shaking it.

"I'm Sarmiento." She nodded and held her hand out to the girl, who took it, shaking it firmly.

"I'm Jade." The across the room where she had come in not much more than ten minutes ago opened, and another pair tumbled through the door. They appeared to be the tributes from Ten.

"How long have you guys been here?"

"Dunno, maybe half an hour?" Jade responded, with a shrug. She seemed as if she was in a state of perpetual annoyance, an underlying almost as if she was too good to be here. Sarmiento gave her a completely different vibe, quieter. She liked them both well enough and surely trusted them more than Matthias. They continued chatting as more tributes arrived. As the last pair, the two from Nine came in, a tall woman appeared in a doorway across the room. It was the President, Genevive Snow-Tarro herself.

"Tributes, if you would please follow me to your prep rooms.

And so, we have all our tributes in one room. Not gonna lie, that gave me goosebumps lol. Anyways here's the points standings:
