Let's break pretty things, ya'll.

Uh... Carlisle/Esme kink non-subtly implied...Oops?

SO MANY SONGS for this Chapter. Like 2,000 words worth. I tried to pare it down, but I just couldn't decide. I hope it doesn't make it too choppy. Let me know! Need a break? After Run the World (Girls) is probably best.

REVIEW! Just a –hey I read this and liked/hated it- is awesome!

WARNING: Kinky smut ahead. And lots of sexuality. And bloodplay. And exhibitionism. And BDSM-themes. You know what? Just expect anything. Honestly, I'm terrible. I'm giving myself a time out for this whole chapter. Guh.

NSFW!

Bad Romance

Bella and Edward clutched each other close all night, remembering all over again how limited their time together was. When Edward had asked Bella what Kaedra had meant in the ballroom about Jo, she had shrugged helplessly. "We just have to be patient. They'll come around. You'll always be first, Edward."

Edward didn't know what to say to that, so he had just kissed Bella passionately and swept her into his lap, where she traced the lines on his hand until morning.

She sighed when Lizzie brought her the coffeepot and stretched languidly. "Ugh. Lizzie, where's that book on the detailed characteristics of a dark magic mage? I need it for the field reports."

"Oh. Um, I can go grab it for you."

"Lizzie, that book is restricted. Where is it?"

"Um, Carlisle checked it out of the Library two days ago, Bella."

Bella paused in her track to her desk. She paced a moment. Then she threw up her hands in the way that Edward knew meant she was exasperated with her thoughts. The speck of gold in his mind projected annoyance.

"This is ridiculous. The man is like a father to me, and I can't ask to borrow my own book. I'm so done with this shit."

Bella flashed out of the room. Edward stared, slack-jawed at where Bella had been. And then he turned and raced to the Attic. This was not going to be pretty.

When Bella arrived in the Attic, Alice and Jasper were screaming at each other in the main room. Alice threw a pillow at her husband.

"- Honestly, Jasper! Why don't you just force her to feel how you want her to feel? Isn't that what Major Whitlock would do? Jesus, god forbid I ever try anything kinky in bed. Pure vanilla, Is that the only option?"

When the room flashed, signaling her arrival, Jasper hissed and jumped between her and Alice.

"Oh, stop it, Jasper. I'm not going to hurt her. I talked to her yesterday. Where's Carlisle?"

Jasper looking at her like an enemy was probably just adrenaline, but it wasn't helping anything in her state of mind. Carlisle came in from the kitchen with Esme trailing behind, focusing on a spot somewhere over her shoulder. Esme had on that kicked puppy look again. Bella blew her hair out of her face. "Look, Carlisle. I need the book on dark characteristics. Lizzie said you checked it out?"

"I hardly think that is helpful reading material for you at this time."

"He speaks! Thanks for the advice, pops, but last time I checked, I was queen around here, and you borrowed that book from my Library."

Carlisle crossed to go into her old bedroom and returned with the book. He handed it to her gently, and Bella's heart softened for just a moment.

"Your book. Please leave now."

Bella's temper flared. "My house too, Carlisle. Just in case you've forgotten. But I'll leave you to it. Whatever it is."

"You are tearing my family apart, Isabella Swan."

"Oh, you're doing that just fine on your own. And last I checked, you're the one who said Edward wasn't your son. Hell, you won't even look at me. I didn't know your fatherly care was so fragile. Good to know that."

She turned to stomp out of the attic manually. She needed the slam of the door behind her. But Carlisle followed her, "It is a sin, Bella." his voice was gentle, his tone soothing and persuasive. Bella shuddered at its similarity to the Master's.

"Careful with that condemnation, Carlisle. That book you live by cuts a lot of ways when you read it."

"You will burn in hell for this, and you have taken my son with you. I must save what I can."

"Ah, and the Carlisle from the monasteries comes out to play. Maybe you should burn me at the stake: I am a witch. I don't know what Book you're reading, but it is not the same one I read, if that's how you think this works- If you even believe in a higher god than yourself."

She whirled to face him, eyes gold flames and narrowing. "I see you, Carlisle Cullen. I have Seen futures for you that would raise goosebumps on even your stone skin."

Edward flew in to the attic, Lizzie and Josephat far behind. Carlisle immediately turned his head so as not to lay eyes on his first son.

"Oh-ho-ho! The whole offensive is in attendance. Honestly Carlisle, what are you, five?"

She was really going now, backing Carlisle away from where Edward stood. "You know you and Josephat should teach classes in the disappointed Father shtick. Must come with the job or something. Jesus, you're all the same. Everything is hunky-dory until I screw up or I make a choice you don't agree with, and then good-bye dolly. Well, I'm nobody's puppet. And I don't have a Master."

She whirled to face Josephat, froze him where he stood. "Never forget that I could kill you in a heartbeat. Less than. I choose who I love. And I choose how I love them. You want corrupted?"

She whirled back to her family, met Carlisle and Esme's eyes. "You want wrong?

"You want me to push?

"Fine, you want me to do bad: I'll show you bad. We're going to the battlegrounds."

She clapped her hands, and Carlisle, Esme, Edward, and she disappeared.

Josephat collapsed from his frozen hold, horror and anguish radiating from him: Jasper couldn't muster up a wave of calm. "What have we done?"

Edward didn't have time to process the location change or take in his suddenly darkened surroundings. Only the barest impression of lava and smoke and ash processed in his brain. His eyes rested for less than a millisecond on the massive skull-shaped stone cavern with lava pouring from its dislocated skeletal jaw in a deadly waterfall.

The very moment they had arrived, Bella had lit up like a firecracker and levitated high above their heads, shining with golden light.

All around them, the forces engaged in animalistic battle paused for just a second in response, before a fierce battle cry rose from Camp's Fae warriors and they redoubled their efforts to defeat their enemies.

When Bella fell back to earth, she shot forward to a black-clad soldier fighting a woman in fierce costume. When the enemy struck the woman across the face, her head flew back due to the force of the blow: Nhamo. Ntombi's mother. Bella crushed the man in a sudden opening in the earth that snapped closed around him—there one second and gone the next.

Her eyes were consumed with flaming gold.

She continued her Fae-sprint, not even looking back at Nhamo as she rushed to pin another aggressive soldier against a sharp rocky outcropping. He struck out at her with an ice shard, and the two began to circle in the battle dance.

I want your ugly, I want your disease
I want your everything as long as it's free
I want your love

They met quickly. Everything around Edward was moving at immortal speed. It was almost disorienting, and the surreal darkness lit by rivers of magma did nothing to help. It was morning, almost midday. Why was it so dark?

Bella destroyed the soldier utterly, backing his panicking and defensive form into one of the flaming rivers. Her song rang in the minds of every Fae engaged in vicious one-on-one battles around him. Carlisle and Esme blanched, clutching each other close. A black clad soldier ran for his parents, and Edward snapped his neck and released him a second before lightning struck the man's corpse.

Love, love, love, I want your love, hey

Bella was suddenly in front of him, her eyes flashing doe brown and consumed gold rapidly: pushing him steadily to where his parents stood with incredible strength that overcame his resistance.

I want your drama, the touch of your hand (hey)
I want your leather-studded kiss in the sand
I want your love

She licked his face in a long stroke from jaw to hairline with stiff tongue and Edward froze at the sense memory of the same action in a more intimate place.

Love, love, love, I want your love
(Love, love, love, I want your love)

She rolled her hips against his, braced him against the vertical slate wall he hadn't noticed. She was crouched over him like a tiger over its prey. Then she rolled her eyes, annoyed, and flashed to defend another warrior: a woman clad in a red-feather skirt and little else.

You know that I want you
And you know that I need you
I want it bad
Your bad romance

This enemy was simply thrown into a spike of stone, impaled and falling blank-faced in the blink of an eye.

I want your love, and I want your revenge
You and me could write a bad romance
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
I want your love, and all your love is revenge
You and me could write a bad romance

Watching Bella tear through the battalion of enemy soldiers was great and terrible beauty. Her eyes never flashed black; not even once, and all her enemies died instantly when she engaged them. She forged a path towards the massive and menacing skull that's eyes glowed brighter briefly, as though it longed to consume her.

Atop the skull was a male-figure silhouetted in shifting firelight, with a bloody white sash around his waist, fighting with only one arm: Erik. Bella met Erik's eyes from the small open space below the waterfall of magma, her face eerily lit in the dark, golden eyes blazing into fire.

Suddenly, Bella flashed back to their group, approaching Carlisle with sway in her hips as she pinned him against the low overhang of slate that protected their group with her hand on his shoulder.

I want your horror, I want your design
'Cause you're a criminal as long as you're mine
I want your love
Love, love, love, I want your love, uh

Esme was holding Carlisle's hand, and backed away from Bella with him, a strange third-wheel to Bella and Carlisle's locked eyes. Edward felt jealousy rise, struggling to keep from drinking the soldier who flashed in front of his view before Edward vaulted him far across the battlefield.

I want your psycho, your vertigo shtick (hey)
Want you in my rear window, baby, you're sick

Esme grabbed Carlisle's jaw and forced his eyes away from Bella to meet her own, her face vampiric and heartbroken. When she met her husband's eyes, she shook her head in a "no" motion: the words to the song poured from her mouth.

I want your love
Love, love, love, I want your love
(Love, love, love, I want your love)

Bella looked at his mother approvingly, and Esme sank to her knees in the ash, using their entwined hands to pull Carlisle's hand to rest on top of her head. Edward remembered his innocent surprise when Bella had pushed his hand against her throat; he understood. Carlisle's face was shocked as his mother whispered to him frantically, her words unheard from where Edward stood.

He was distracted for a moment by a soldier with a blood-red sash who's head he bashed in with a single punch. When he looked back, Bella met his eyes for just a moment with heat before she turned back to his father and released him: nodding to Esme's supine form, kneeling before him. Carlisle's face was conflicted now, on the verge of giving in.

('cause I'm a free bitch, baby)
I want it bad
Your bad romance

Bella was in front of Edward once more, bracing herself against his shoulders as she drew his mouth to her neck. He met his father's torn gaze and kissed Bella's pulse briefly, chastely.

I want your love, and I want your revenge
You and me could write a bad romance
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
I want your love, and all you love is revenge
You and me could write a bad romance

His father was forgotten as soon as he shifted his eyes to Esme. Bella's arms were around his neck, dancing against him briefly. Edward felt the rise of heat overtake his bloodlust.

God, Bella was beautiful: wild, and fierce, and predatory like this. Edward relished the thought that he was the only one who she submitted to, ignoring the rising horror at the back of his mind.

He focused instead on the river of gold from Bella's mind, pouring into him: increasing like a river overflowing its banks. He could hear echoes of Bella's thoughts, her sense of the battle around them, the aggressive rush of battle, the heat of him. Her own bloodlust and lust added to his, and he clutched at her, a fire raging to life.

Bella teleported both of them to the top of the skull-cavern, caught Erik's gaze with a wicked smile over his shoulder as she released him and turned to circle Tomas' commander.

Bella swayed sexually, approaching the commander and forcing him to back away with no contact, hypnotizing him with her body's sensuous movement.

Erik's eyes were consumed black, a strange mirror to Bella's golden one. She backed him to the edge of the elevated roof of the plateau that formed the top of the skull without touching him directly, as small disasters clashed around them. Fire and tornado met in a pillar of whirling flames that reached into the ashy sky. Massive stones were flying towards the three of them from below, only to explode when they got too close to the elevated fight. Ice ghosted Bella's breath.

Walk, walk, fashion, baby
Work it, move that bitch crazy
Walk, walk, fashion, baby
Work it, move that bitch crazy
Walk, walk, fashion, baby
Work it, move that bitch crazy
Walk, walk, passion, baby

Bella's eyes flashed suddenly black for just a half millisecond, before they were golden fire again. Even looking at her eyes without their focus on him, Edward feared he might catch flame. Her chrome sword extended from the flesh of her forearm to rest in her hand. The smell of Bella's blood in this dark place was infuriating.

Work it, I'm a free bitch, baby

Time slowed, and Edward felt the flash of heat on the back of his neck: lightning had struck down a soldier who got too close to him.

I want your love
And I want your revenge
I want your love
I don't wanna be friends
Je veux ton amour
Et je veux ta revanche

Bella plunged the sword into Erik's neck, licking and biting her bottom lip absentmindedly at the blood that sprayed into her face and across her chin.

Want your bad romance

She didn't even watch his body fall from the top of the skull-cavern and hit the stream of magma far below. Her suddenly sultry, but no less intense, eyes settled on Edward, and goose-bumps raised on his skin as she approached.

I want your love, and I want your revenge
You and me could write a bad romance
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
I want your love, and all your lover's revenge

Still, he licked Erik's blood from her lips greedily when she offered him her mouth, licking past her teeth to get every drop. It was immensely satisfying.

She raised an arm above her head in his embrace, the one clutching the cross-guard of roses that was the handle to her sword. A battle-cry rose from her victorious forces, with Bella's mental voice screaming above them. The sunlight broke through, spreading across the smoky battlefield.

Run the World (girls)

All around the battlefield, lava stiffened and cooled, forming paths of gray stone. The bright sunlight blinded enemies who were stupid enough to keep fighting and they were quickly overtaken, wrapped in thorny vines that rose rapidly throughout the battlefield. The vines were covered in huge white flowers.

A group of about six women, including Nhamo and the barely-covered blonde teenager in the red-feathered skirt, separated from the rest of the allied soldiers on the field and marched to Bella steadily.

"Ladies, meet Edward. Edward this is the female Core. You don't know them, but they know you."

A girl with dyed red hair and tattoos spoke up from the back of the group, "Not that it isn't amazing to see you Bella, especially since this village totally got their asses handed to them. But what the hell are you doing here?"

"Pushing. Got my back?"

"Always." The girls chorused. A strange knocking sound had them falling into formation, gathering their enemies and forcing the men to their knees.

Girls, we run this motha, yeah

Girls, we run this motha, yeah

Girls, we run this motha, yeah

Girls we run this motha, girls

Bella threw out her arms as she led the female core through an eager passage the soldiers made for her. They cleared their way telekinetically with a snarl, laying hands on no enemy soldiers but going out of their way to caress allies at guard. Every injured soldier they laid hands on was healed instantly with blue-glowing magicks.

Who run the world?

The core danced through the streets of a small village that had been in enemy territory at the start of the fight. Bodies were piled high here, the destruction all around him being repaired by Bella's allies, powered by the magic of the six girls who danced wildly in a v-shape around the group made of his lover, he, and his parents. The core shouted, and magick pulsed from their forms, every time Bella asked her sung question and they replied:

Bella flashed to Carlisle where he clutched Esme to himself as they walked, and the Core turned to face her, still pushing forward as Bella walked backwards gracefully, her flooded golden gaze locked with his father's.

Some of them men think
They freak this like we do
But no they don't
Make your check come at they neck
Disrespect us no they won't

An enemy made a break for it from the left, running towards Nhamo with dagger raised. The other five members of the Core lashed out at him magickally with a scream, and he was dead before he got within six feet of his prize.

Boy don't even try to touch this
Boy this beat is crazy
This is how they made me
Arizona, baby

Bella flashed; she caressed Nhamo's face slowly, gazing at her with affection in her eyes: maintaining eye-contact as the group continued moving. Nhamo's shaking calmed, and she took the lead again, back to the head of the Core's arrowhead formation.

This goes out to all my girls
That's in the club rocking the latest
Who will buy it for themselves
And get more money later

I think I need a barber
None of these niggas can fight me
I'm so good with this,
I remind you I'm so hood with this

She flashed back to Carlisle, speaking over the music. "Trust me for two seconds, dad. You'll see the point soon enough."

Boy I'm just playing
Come here baby
Hope you still like me
"F" you pay me

She turned to his mother, meeting her eyes and caressing her jaw with a single index finger. "It's going to be okay, mom."

My persuasion can build a nation
Endless power
Our love we can devour
You'll do anything for me

She turned back to the female core, raised her arms again, sending the girls out to spread from her in a semicircle, approaching the intimidating tower at the center of the small village that directly faced the glowing skull cavern. The tower was the only place Edward's view uncovered in white. The tower's balconies still poured lava into a small lake of fire forming a moat.

When Bella approached the front doors of the castle, they exploded off their hinges. The lava moat did not cool, but the Core did not even falter as they walked across it. Edward, Carlisle, and Esme were teleported to the other side. The small battalion in the courtyard was quickly destroyed by the Core.

Bella went straight to the wide grand staircase that led to the basement, her confused family behind her. What the hell was going on here?

Boy you know you love it
How we're smart enough
To make these millions
Strong enough to bare the children

As the steel door to the basement was blown off its hinges, Edward almost retched. Behind the door were weak and gaunt women, and some men and children: huddled into each other and chained to the floor. Edward was almost angry that the Core killed their guards before he could. Their deaths were too quick.

Then get back to business

Out of the corner of his eye, He saw his father's face fall slack with utter shock. Bella and the Core approached a muscled man on an elevated throne in the back of the room, dressed in all black with a red sash around the widest point of his girth. Edward recognized him from the political gala.

See, you better not play me
Don't come here baby
Hope you still like me
"F" you pay me

Bella approached the man with a wicked grin, not touching him, but leaning over where he sat imperiously. The Core restrained the man's struggling form. Bella's expression grew almost vampiric when the women laid hands on the man, and her eyes flashed white and held. Echoes shimmered around her: All that this man knew of the Master's plans.

My persuasion can build a nation
Endless power
Our love we can devour
You'll do anything for me

When the echoes petered out, Bella touched one finger to the man's forehead. His heart stopped instantly, and the Core released him. Bella looked strangely sad.

"You spoke to Matthias at the gala, didn't you Carlisle? A snake in the grass, that's what you're thinking. But did you know Tomas holds his son in the School? He does this evil because Tomas does his. So on, and so forth. It's exhausting to try to find the root of the villainy, isn't it? Quit trying. Just...do what that Book tells you. Love fiercely. Do the best you can to do what's right."

"And never forget to look inward for corruption, too. Every Fae possesses a blend of light and dark magicks, Carlisle. And I bet every vampire and mortal too. It's not black and white, and it never will be. Go. Speak with your wife. Love her. Make your choice. "

"We're done here, I'm done pushing. Go home, Edward and I will be there soon; and then we can talk."

Who are we?
What do we run?
We run the world (who run this motha', yeah)

Bella clapped her hands, and Carlisle and Esme disappeared. Which was good, because Edward was about to lose his mind. As soon as his parents were out of view, Edward completely forgot about the Core and everyone else in the entire world and clutched Bella to him greedily. He wanted her out-out-out of this place. He swept her up with vampiric strength and speed, ignoring the Core's startled stances. Bella waved them down as he rushed her away from that hell.

Mercy

On the other side of the frightening skull, Edward saw a green valley dotted with wildflowers. He rushed towards the sound of water that called to him from it, finally setting Bella down on the curve of shore near it, under the shelter of a tree. He couldn't make himself let go for a long minute.

Finally, he croaked, "What was that? All of that. My god, Bella I've never seen anything like that. You, I. Those men are dead. Those prisoners...Are the battlegrounds always like this?"

"Always. The fighting never, ever stops. This village will be abandoned, and my forces will move forward before they are pushed back again. But those girls are safe. They are saved. There are hundreds, Edward. Some of whom have reached the point where they cannot be saved."

"What?"

Bella turned her face from him, fear and anguish and grief rising from the river of gold in his mind. "It is not only men who fight for the Master, Edward."

"Bella- what did you say to Carlisle? I was—god help me, I was jealous for a moment."

"Oh, that's what that was. Wow, okay. I was wondering why your scarlet got all intense there for a second. I told him I would never submit to him, that he could imagine putting me over his knee all he wanted, but it would never happen. Let's just say I recognize a certain set of attributes in your father and Esme that are...concerning, if not mitigated properly. They'll be fine now, Esme took the jump."

"They weren't the only ones you were pushing out there, Bella."

"Well, obviously." She shot him a cheeky grin. "You, however, can put me over your knee anytime you like."

Heat.

He shoved her into the ground, relished watching her eyes widen as she went limp under him, her gold flaring in kneejerk defiance at his aggression. "You killed them. I liked watching you kill them. I killed them. I liked you watching me kill them. This is a dangerous game you're playing, lover."

Bella raised an eyebrow at him. "Am I playing alone?"

His next words were half plea-half command. Music swelled into his hearing, a song already half sung, in his voice. He spoke over the music:"Not if I have anything to say about it. But not this way, Bella. Not ever again. Some lines should not be crossed. Have mercy on me."

Consuming all the air inside my lungs
Ripping all the skin from off my bones
I'm prepared to sacrifice my life
I would gladly do it twice

Bella's eyes were golden fire when she reached for him, her words gasping. "Okay. I love you, Edward. Anything- Anything at all."

Bad Things (w/Camilla Cabello)(MATURE)

The gold in his mind expanded, blurring his vision of everything but Bella. He could hear every thought in Bella's head, all the directions her mind was currently spinning into.

There was a thought for the containment of their enemies; a thought for Carlisle and Esme's safe return, another small mental nudge for Carlisle to listen, urgent acknowledged by his father from far away. Another nudge, at Nhamo this time: The Core's minds were open and unguarded to Bella's golden presence, stay, I'm safe; request meeting soon; share, shared strength; a thought was spared for the new knowledge of the Master's plans; a thought for time and privacy; for the worry of their siblings; a thought for Rockabye, Jo, Kaedra, and Marcos- precious in their own way.

Edward was dizzy with the sheer complexity of Bella's thought-stream. He couldn't help himself. He dove in, feeling scarlet heat mix with Bella's gold, feeling his mind open to her. Hers opened further to him in response, and Edward caught wisps of deeper-rooted emotions, darker thoughts. Fear was here, Shame at what her bloodlust could turn her into: eyes golden; completely her own darkness, the Master was not here. Heat; adrenaline; the leftovers of the battle-rush, a narrow escape and triumph, victory, dark satisfaction. And always, through every thought, even raising through and radiating to the surface ones: Heat.

Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do
I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it
What can I say, it's complicated

Edward responded by curling up like a cat next to a warm stove. Trust; pride, his own heat and conflicted emotions about it. The line between the physical and mental was blurred, here. Would always be. God, but Edward wouldn't give her up for anything, ever. There was that licking sensation again, possessive; want; lovelovelove—a beat—don't push. Edward forced his mouth on Bella's below him, sent her his own thoughts.

Anger;possessive;heat;mineminemine; give me. Bella cried out as his smooth, vampiric voice joined hers, mentally: his mouth was busy at the moment, trailing across Bella's jaw to her neck, across her pulse and laving at it, down-down and scraping his teeth across her collarbone. He felt the root he was bracing himself with crumble in his hold.

Nothing's that bad
If it feels good
So you come back
Like I knew you would
And we're both wild
And the night's young
And you're my drug
Breathe you in 'til my face numb
Drop it down to that bass drum
I got what you dream 'bout
Nails scratchin' my back tatt
Eyes closed while you scream out
And you keep me in with those hips
While my teeth sink in those lips
While your body's giving me life
And you suffocate in my kiss
Then you said

Bella flipped them so she was on top, ground down filthy hard against him. "Edward- Edward. I can get us new clothes out here, say yes- say yes, Edward, please. "

Edward responded by growling the next verse physically, his hands already rucking her dress up over her skin, scraping fingernails across her nipples when he passed them. Scarlet panties. Dear god, she was going to kill him.

I want you forever
Even when we're not together
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever like
I want you forever
Even when we're not together
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever

Bella's heat grew, damp on him through his pants and gold flaring in his mind. What? What did he miss? Oh. Scars—Bella wanted his mark on her skin, a stamp of his control over this dark part of her. Oh, dear god. Edward caught flame.

Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do
I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it
What can I say, it's complicated

"Bella- Fuck, Bella. Clothes. Get them off. I can't." He was thrusting up against her on top of him, wildly seeking, rubbing his zipper hard against her clit and rising to take a dusky, perked nipple between his teeth. Her dress was still hanging backwards off her neck. He ripped her hair out of it's high ponytail as he pulled her down by her hair, thrust his tongue into her mouth. Oh, oh fuck, Bella still had drops of Erik's blood on her cheek. She was panting, grinding into him: a low, constant whine escaped her that spiked when her pleasure peaked.

I can't explain it
I love the pain
And I love the way your breath
Numbs me of novacaine
And we are
Always high
Keep it strange
Okay, yeah, I'm insane
But you the same

Bella growled when he broke from her lips to lick at the blood on her cheek, anger;mine.

Suddenly, Edward was completely bare: Bella already moving, rubbing her soft, wet heat against the underside of his hardness, scratching her nails down his stone chest to his contracting abdomen. Edward's hips stuttered when her nails caught his nipples, and Bella pulled up and back, changing the angle; grinning at him wickedly with consumed golden eyes.

An animalistic howl, cut off halfway through, left Edward's lips as he arched beneath her; he knew he was gripping her hips too hard. She would have bruises. He couldn't think, he wanted everything, all of it, Now.

Let me paint the picture
Couch by the kitchen
Nothin' but your heels on
Losin' our religion
You're my pretty little vixen
And I'm the voice inside your head
That keeps telling you to listen to all the bad things I say
And you said

Bella raised away from him, caught the tip of his hardness and pushed hard. Edward saw stars, went perfectly still. Everything stopped. Oh. Oh.

He flipped them over, panting now, burying his head in the junction of Bella's neck and shoulder. He closed his eyes, focused on his sense of smell, of touch. A whimper escaped him as he grew rock hard inside of Bella's passage.

I want you forever
Even when we're not together
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever like
I want you forever
Even when we're not together
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever

Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do
I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it
What can I say, it's complicated

After a long, still moment; Edward raised his head to look Bella in her doe-brown eyes, sheened with gold. His words rumbled through him. "Cast your spell, little witch. I would take what is freely given."

The way we love, is so unique
And when we touch, I'm shivering
And no one has to get it
Just you and me
'Cause we're just living
Between the sheets

Strange, shuddering syllables fell from Bella's mouth between her shuddering gasps. Edward thrust into her hard, but slowly: he drew out each motion smoothly, and the music swelled. Bella's eyes flashed rapidly before gold held in her gaze.

I want you forever
Even when we're not together
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever like

Edward forced her to meet his eyes, bracing against one hand and locking his elbow so he could force her head up, her eyes on his. Bella whimpered softly, and her gold flowed: trust;desperation, want so bad it was almost need.

I want you forever
Even when we're not together
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever

Am I out of my head?
Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like
Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated
Don't matter what you say
Don't matter what you do
I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it
What can I say, it's complicated

Edward did not pause in his controlled thrusting; his hand fell between them to Bella's clit, rubbing lightly. She turned her head from his grasp, and he let her, bracing his arm against the roots of the tree; she exposed her neck to him and bit her bottom lip. Edward stared for just a moment at the cords of her neck, her pulse, took in her face. He bent his bracing elbow and pinched her clit hard between his finger and thumb, just as he sunk his teeth into her neck.

Bad Things (True Blood) (Mature)

Oh. Oh god. It was heaven; it was hell. The best parts of both and the sting of neither. Her blood poured into his mouth: flooded his mind, his soul, flowed with warmth to every cell of him. Her pulse was accelerated with adrenaline and desire, and it made the rush that much sweeter. It was sacrilege that any other blood had ever touched his lips, and he regretted Erik's blood now: hated the thought of it mixing with Bella's in his system. His smooth thrusts faltered, vampiric speed in the space of Bella's heartbeat. He pushed into it, accelerated the rush so the fire burned higher, so it would flare and then ebb quickly. His own voice echoed dangerously in his head.

When you came in, the air went out
And every shadow filled up with doubt
I don't know who you think you are
But before the night is through
I wanna do bad things with you

He opened his eyes: he didn't realize he had closed them. He couldn't see Bella's face, but she shuddered, shaking apart beneath him; the stream of gold in his head was strobing a sharp white. Her passageway clutched at him rhythmically, faster and faster as Bella came. He laved at her skin, closing the wound in the curve of her neck and shoulder only partially so it would scar, relished the thin line of blood still streaming. He licked at it lazily, lapped at the dip of her collarbone where it pooled. One hand went to her jaw, forced her to meet his rising gaze.

I'm the kind to sit up in his room
Heart sick and eyes filled up with blue
I don't know what you've done to me
But I know this much is true
I wanna do bad things with you, okay

He saw her gaze flare, felt the understanding: permission from her mind. He switched arms, reached for her hand, turned so his mouth was poised above the wide scar that housed her royal blade, the one he had briefly thought was a suicide attempt. He forced himself to release her hand, but her arm did not move from where he had held it. He licked it once from wrist to elbow, numbing the skin from the sting with his venom and relishing the bits of dried blood bursting across his tongue. Then, he bit right at the spot where the scar ended; directly over the inside center of her wrist, careful of the delicate veins.

When you came in the air went out
And all those shadows there filled up with doubt

Bella jerked slightly as his teeth broke skin, instinct. He tightened his grip on the earth and a growl escaped him as he moved his opposite arm to her. He circled her clit with his thumb hard as he pulled himself free of her. A whimper escaped her as she arched, want; too far away; empty rising quickly from the gold in his mind.

Edward pulled his mouth away before he could take too much, laving this wound only partially-closed as well. The scent of her blood in the air was a siren song, but Edward denied it, raising himself above her to take in her face, entering her again gentle and steady. He turned her on her side in the narrow alcove of the tree, swung both her legs to the right side of him as he increased his speed. Her eyes were flooded golden, barely able to focus on him through her rising need and the aftershocks of her previous orgasm. She gritted her teeth against the pleasure of him inside of her, oversensitive.

I don't know who you think you are
But before the night is through
I wanna do bad things with you
I wanna do real bad things with you

He took no prisoners, pushed her to her body's limit with frantic speed. He was on the edge, now. He braced himself on both arms over her and with one final thrust, he was coming. He pushed his mouth to hers, crushed her with his weight in the awkward position so he could reach her lips, forcing them open and sharing the taste of her blood with her. She licked into his mouth, possessive and wanting as she shuddered with pleasure at the sensation of his essence filling her.

I don't know what you've done to me
But I know this much is true
I wanna do bad things with you
I wanna do real bad things with you

We Found Love (PG-13)

Edward shifted: turned big-spoon, little spoon with her back to him, still inside her passage but slightly softer. Stars and golden sparks shot through his gaze as he did, coloring the air around him with magic. The space under the roots of the tree that sheltered them was green lushness made of soft moss and small white flowers. A field of clovers cushioned them from the hard earth where before there had been only dirt and stone. Huh. Edward really thought he would have noticed a change as radical as this, inches from his face.

Of course, then Bella turned to face him, moving slowly and squeezing him tightly as his member slipped from her, and he forgot about the foliage once more. Might as well be blank space compared to her ethereal beauty. They kissed lazily, the sun almost to midday in the sky. The air was peaceful, birds tweeting and the sound of gentle water lapping the shores of the lake.

Edward clutched her to him, relished the feel of her breasts pushing against his chest. He buried one hand in her auburn locks, closed his eyes as she closed hers, golden fire ebbing into doe-brown. They tangled tongues briefly, Bella's skin warm against his stone, glittering form. Edward was never going to move from this place, ever again.

Bella pulled back from the kiss at that thought in his mind, laughter on her face. "Well, that might pose some challenges, Edward. Did you really not notice the clover? I'm flattered."

"Since when can you read my thoughts, too, lover-girl? Must you be perfect for me in every way?"

"Since you found me in the dark, in the haze, and broke the Master's hold on my mind through the drug." She snorted. "Talk about perfection. You looked in a mirror latel—Edward!"

"What?" Edward processed sudden adrenaline from her, she shot to an upright position, grabbing his jaw and staring into his eyes hard.

"Your eyes-"

"Oh, I know, they aren't too red, are they?"

"No-no, Edward, they're the most beautiful green I've ever seen."

"What?" Edward rushed to the calm surface of the lake, touched his cheekbones in astonishment as his green gaze met his reflection; echoes of his human past embedded in his glittering face. His shock was weak and distorted on his face in the ripples of water, but green-eyed just the same.

"Oh. Oh my sweet heavenly Lord, what new magick is this?" He turned to return to Bella, and had to pause again with new shock on his features. There, on the elevated ground above the roots of the tree, was a freaking unicorn. Its black fur hid strong muscles, a gold and silver horn glowing like metal reflected the sun as it nibbled absentmindedly at the clover carpeting the ground.

"Bella; Bella." His voice was weak, and Bella flashed to his side, alarmed; looking where he had locked his gaze.

"Oh. Jeez, heart-attack, Edward. Hi Muse—ever heard of privacy?"

The horse snorted and tossed it's head, a pulse of blue lighting the tip of its horn briefly.

"Don't give me that. PRIVACY. Our species doesn't mate in public. Well, usually."

"Bella- it. She, Muse, the unicorn can understand you. I've lost my mind."

"She can understand you too, Edward. Unicorns are incredibly intelligent, probably smarter than most people. Muse is a friend of mine, even if she is pervy. Go on, get. I'm busy, it can wait a minute. NO peeking."

Edward clutched at Bella's waist as the unicorn trotted away from them, crossing to the other side of the lake as Bella glared haughtily after her.

"Bella, love, I'm gonna need just a minute here. Oh my god, how? What? No, why? Bella. Explain."

"Um ,well. I don't know completely, but I would imagine it has something to do with my blood and the magick it holds. I wasn't expecting it, but I like it. I get to mark you too. It's probably the only real difference between my blood and a normal human's."

But Edward was realizing something else as Bella spoke, something that struck him to his core with awe. Edward was full. Completely satisfied; he could smell Bella's blood radiating through the air of the clearing, but it had no pull on him, no hungry take colored his reaction to it. It was just blood.

"Bella, mon dieu. I'm not. I'm not thirsty. This is more than even human blood could provide. Bella, my god. It's a miracle."

"What? Was that french? Oh, I mean well, cool. I'm glad I could help. We should probably do some tests. Wow, that green is really, really hot on you. I might like it even better than topaz. It's hard to tell though, 'cause I mean, my blood turned them that color."

Edward picked Bella up at her waist, swirled her through the air in a joyful spin. "This is unbelievable. My god, Bella, can we do it again? Do we have time? I mean, um, I'm sure the rest can wait just one more second."

Heat flared weakly between them, embers that could re-ignite in a heartbeat; but Bella sighed. "Damn it. Muse, see what you did? You owe me big time for this, horsey." Bella stepped back from him, though the gold in his mind flared in shared disappointment with him. "Ugh. I really really want to, Edward. But Muse wouldn't come by for nothing." She roved her eyes over him just once, taking in his glittering form before she clothed him in a tight blue v-neck and sturdy jeans. Silk boxers, nice.

He mourned when Bella was wrapped in high-cut jean shorts that emphasized her legs and a boat-neck scarlet top with long sleeves made of lace. Her top showed off his mark, but covered the others.

She braided her hair as she whistled to the creature across the lake. "God, what is with the theft of our afterglow? I am so ready for a day off to spend with you, alone."

Yellow diamonds in the light
And we're standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine
