"Well, that settles that." Christopher said, walking over and taking the deck, the intimidated man just running off as Christopher handed it to the girl. "Here's your deck back." He said, the girl nodding, before going up to Azure.
"Um...Thanks. Are you sure that was your first time using that deck? You seemed to do so well with it." The girl said.
"Yeah. I'd never seen that deck before." Azure admitted, as Christopher...resumed writing notes.
"Fascinating...Even with a deck they'd never used before..." He commented to himself, before noticing Azure handing back the Granblue deck. "Oh, right. I almost forgot about that." He said, accepting the deck back. "Still, you simply must come see me again sometime, I have so many more questions to ask about your new type of Psyqualia...For now, I suppose I should get back to my own work. However, I assure you, we will meet again, Azure Cova." Christopher promised, walking off.
"So it really is true..." Azure muttered to himself, looking at his own deck.
"Um..." The girl started. "You're Azure Cova, from my class, right? I heard him say your name. What were you doing with someone like him, anyways?" She asked.
"Well, it's a long story..." Azure started.
"I've got time...Oh, right. My name's Marisa." Marisa introduced. "By the way, you were hanging out with some other boys in one of the empty club rooms, weren't you? Are you planning to start a club or something?" She asked.
"Oh, well...Yeah. I was planning to start a Cardfight Club...the problem is we tried to become a verified Vanguard team...and failed..." Azure said, looking at the ground. "We tried to go to that special rules tournament, and at the last round, we got beaten." He admitted.
"I see...A cardfight club sounds like a great idea. How many team members do you have for your team?" Marisa asked.
"Well, with Kyros and Drake, we total at 3." Azure said, Marisa sighing.
"I see...Still, as long as 5 people sign up for the club, you should still be able to start that club." Marisa said.
"Yeah, but...where am I going to find people to join the club?" Azure asked.
"Well...If you really need a fourth, I could help you there, but as for a fifth...I'm not sure." Marisa admitted. "Well, either way, thanks for your help. If you want to send me an invitation to the team, feel free." She said, before walking off, Azure deciding to go home, himself.
Wonder what's on TV...Huh, more idol stuff. Do people...really watch this? Azure wondered, grabbing the remote to change the channel, before noticing someone in the image shown on the screen, before realizing. Wait a minute...Is that Mira? He wondered, before noticing Kristall walking into the room, combing her relatively long light blue hair. "Oh, were you watching that?" Azure asked.
"Oh, no. I was just using the TV for background noise earlier. It gets a little quiet here sometimes when you and Glace go out." Kristall answered, before noticing the image. "Wait, isn't that..?" She started, before shaking her head.
"Huh? Wait, do you know Mira or something?" Azure asked, Kristall nodding.
"Briefly met her a long time ago, but it's nothing you need to worry about." Kristall said, simply. "Regardless...I was thinking of returning to the competition aspect of Vanguard. I'm even going to form my own team." She said.
"Really? Have you gotten any members?" Azure asked.
"Well...so far Glace was the only one I could ask, but she seemed willing to help." Kristall admitted, sitting down next to Azure. "I know I can't ask you, though. After all, You've got your own team to lead." She said.
"I see...Still, what about team alliance? I don't mind lending my aid if you need it." Azure said, looking at the list of his team alliances, and seeing only 'Victory' on it.
"I see...It may be good for you to branch out and make bonds with other teams. Alright, I'll send you the request." Kristall said, taking her neo-fight glove, as a screen appeared, as she pushed some buttons, before the request was sent to Azure's, as he accepted it. "Still, I take it you know that girl from the TV, then?" Kristall asked.
"Well, yeah, she goes to my school." Azure said, Kristall nodding. "Anyways...I'm gonna go to my room and see if I can make any edits to my deck. Then again, with this strange clan, I doubt it..." He admitted, before noticing Kristall holding out a card.
"In that case...Maybe this G Unit will come in handy." She said.
"Whoa...where'd you get that?" Azure asked, looking at the card.
"You weren't the only one who suddenly found that clan...It's strange, but I found that I rather liked this new deck, so I think I'll keep using it." Kristall said.
"I see...Still, thanks, Kristall. I'll put it to good use." Azure said, before going upstairs.
Glacier Dragon, Released Spectrum Dragon...Generation Break 3, but it's skill could come in handy... He thought, before hearing his phone ringing, moving over to pick it up.
"Hello?" Azure asked.
"Hey, Azure. It's me, Kyros...Have you seen the news?" Kyros asked from the phone.
"Uh...No, why? What's going on?" Azure asked.
"Supposedly there's been some underground cardfights being held, and some high school kid is exposing them. Rumor has it they venture to the underground looking for entertainment." Kyros told Azure. "Still, there's a chance they could be from our school...If there's a fighter strong enough to take on the adults of the underground..." He started.
"You think they'd be a great addition to the team, right?" Azure asked. "Still, If you're suggesting we sneak out at night to look around the underground...That's pretty dangerous, isn't it?" Azure asked.
"I know, but it's still worth checking out. Drake is already agreeing to sneak out and go explore it with me. It's fine if you don't want to, though." Kyros said.
"Wait, you and Drake are going? In that case...I'd better tag along, too. I'll try to get out tonight. I don't want something happening to you two..." Azure admitted.
"Alright, then at 10 o'clock, we'll meet outside the school entrance." Kyros said, before hanging up, Azure looking at his deck.
"...What have I just agreed to..?" Azure asked himself.
