Three days after the fight, revolutionary forces have made their way to the gates of the capitol after repetitive surrenders.

Wave, after the fight… unfortunately died due to internal bleeding. There was no 2nd evolution to save him from his fate.

"Today, we revolt and start a new kingdom. We will overthrow the corrupt government with our own hands, and create a kingdom where citizens can live peacefully!" Najenda shouts, Najenda is accompanied by Lubbock.

The soldiers rushed forwards into the capital.

Vergo, Leone, Akame, Mine, and Tatsumi enter through a hole made into the palace.

"This place was poorly constructed for Vergo fists." Leone exclaims

"I don't think you can prepare for Vergo's fist coming from below…" Tatsumi says while in his Incursio.

They crash through a large door and enter a room with a large number of soldiers. Vergo unleashed his killing intent making the soldiers sweat and the weaker ones fall to their knees.

"We don't wish to kill more than necessary, and I do believe you don't stand a chance against the Empire's Strongest Criminal." Vergo warns monotonically as he continues his stride down through the hall.

"He's right, you won't stand a chance." Another voice calls out from behind.

"It's one of the Jaegers!"

"Run… you know that the empire is practically guaranteed to fall, right?" Tatsumi spoke, trying to persuade Run.

"No, Esdeath is already on her way to squash the rebels. She has developed something, rather deadly…" Run mutters

In reality, the ability Esdeath can display can crush an entire army easily, but the problem is the civilians would also have a lot of casualties which is what Run was worried about.

The ceiling collapses as another figure flashes through. General Budo.

"Unfortunately, we can let you go any further." The deep voice of General Budo resounds throughout the area.

"If we get rid of the ones in front of us, the only thing left beyond this point is the Prime Minister and Esdeath…" Mine says

Akame speaks up

"Tatsumi, Leone, Tatsumi, you will fight these guys while me and Vergo go ahead." Akame orders and they simply nod.

Suddenly, Akame and Vergo vanish.

"Damn it!" Budo yells out as he dodges a beam from Mine.

Chelsea, in disguise, is acting as one of the royal guards who will be escorting the Prime Minister. Once Vergo and Akame crash in she'll quickly kill the Honest and rush away while Akame and Vergo thrash all of the men.

She naturally trusts those two as it is the 2nd best of Night Raid and the strongest in the empire.

The door crashes down earning the attention of everyone present. The large figure of Vergo and a shorter Akame enter through the door with killing intent seeping through. The killing intent only further dragged their attention away.

'Now!'

A large cloud of smoke appears and she rushes the minister, and thrusts her needle towards his neck.

'?!'

A barrier appeared out of thin air, and everyone's attention redirected to Chelsea trying to stab the minister.

Vergo cursed under his breath but it was too late.

The Prime Minister had his gun out.

"Ahhh…" Chelsea trailed off, before a loud bang resounded throughout the room. Chelsea touches her forehead, and feels warm red liquid.

"Vergo… Akame… I entrust you to the rest of the mission…" Chelsea mutters and smiles as she falls to the floor.

Chelsea is dead.

"The supreme Imperial Arms are already in motion! Take that!" The Prime Minister roars.

Both Akame and Vergo in particular have their faces shadowed.

"I'm going to blow off some steam." Vergo said to no one in particular before a finger stabs through a soldier. Followed swiftly by Akame who cuts into the guard's open helm and joints. Even though they're in full body armor, they still need to see and move.

The Emperor pales and gulps at the sight.

"See?! Look at these merciless murders! You must quickly activate your teigu to protect the kingdom!" Honest yells out and the earth rumbles.

"This teigu is comparable to god! No, it is god!" Honest continues and the palace collapses, and reveals a large figure that towers over everything and casts a shadow over the capital.

It's the ultimate Imperial Arms, Shikotouzer.

The weird thing is, outside it's snowing.

"What's happening?" Leone exclaims at the sight of the large towering abomination of the Shikotouzer and the snow.

(Najenda POV)

Najenda watches as Esdeath leisurely walks towards them with the snow falling.

"Is this your doing, Esdeath?" Najenda asks as she looks around at the falling snow.

"There's more to it than you think, former General Najenda…" Esdeath grows a wicked smirk.

Suddenly, soldiers start to fall down off their horses.

"What?!" Najenda exclaims at the sight.

"Once the snow enters your lungs… it's all over General Najenda." Esdeath cackles

'Such a terrible power!'

Back at the palace, Vergo yells out the top of his lungs

"Cover your noses if you don't want to die!" Night Raid who trusted him naturally covered their noses earning scoffs from the imperial soldiers before they started to collapse.

'The snow only covers the battle fields we're at… but I doubt this is going to end well for the civilians…' Vergo thinks to himself and when he sets his sight for Honest, veins bulge on his forehead.

It didn't help that Chelsea's death was so sudden. They know there was a chance of her dying, but not because of her failing and getting shot by Honest…

Vergo grits his teeth before looking up towards the large teigu, and it's mouth was emitting a light. But Vergo quickly paled at comprehension of what's about to happen.

A large blast fires out, destroying an entire portion of the capital. Wind picks up and the soldiers scattered around the capital were sent flying back along with citizens who weren't even near the explosion.

'This power… it's the same level as a Bustercall and Navy Admirals!' Vergo thinks with alarm as he watches the mushroom cloud grow in the distance.

'This is dangerous… I'll take care of it myself.' Vergo's body sheens in a black color

"Tekkai (Strong Leg) Soru-Burst!"

His haki flared and he realized he made a bad mistake. A fist comes at a speed that even Vergo struggles to react to.

Vergo raised his bamboo stick over his head, muscles bulging out of his arms as he prepared for his attack.

"Oni-Take, Tekkai Strength (Strong Arm)!" A resounding clash echoes throughout the entire capital, and Vergo holds his position until he's sent flying back down into the earth crashing through hundreds of buildings.

'Too strong!'

Akame grimaces at the sight and Tatsumi is shocked. Tatsumi never has seen Vergo being pushed back in a fight of brawn. He even defeated Esdeath and became the strongest in the empire! Though, he's starting to realize he's still human just like them. Recently Vergo has been getting more and more banged up indicating he's still a human, just incredibly strong.

Vergo gets back up spitting blood out of his mouth and dusts his robe off. And he launches himself off of the ground and re-enters the palace.

After the sight of the Shikoutazer has its effect worn off, the night raid starts to combat the Imperial forces.

"Geppo-Soru!" Once again Vergo blasts through the air and rushes to the Shikoutazer which raises it's fist at an alarming speed for its size.

The emperor scoffs at the sight of Vergo once again rushing him and his fist rockets towards Vergo. Vergo has already adapted himself to his speed and with his ever improving haki, he blasts through the air to evade the fist and his muscles bulge.

"Tekkai Strength (Strong Leg) Soru-Geppo Burst!" Vergo blasts himself at an incredible speed that matches even the speed of a weaker admiral level character, and his muscles threaten to rip his shirt as he prepares once more to attack with his strenuous techniques. All of his armament haki focuses towards his bamboo stick which starts to flicker with red electricity.

"Oni-Take Tekkai Strength (Strong Arm)!" Vergo's bamboo stick makes contact with the large giant and it forces it to step back, but with the lack of footing due to the uneven terrain of the collapsed palace it falls down into the ground.

Everyone gapes at the sight of Vergo knocking down the supreme teigu, but to Vergo it isn't surprising. Vergo was a former Vice-Admiral, and even though there's quite a gap between a Vice-Admiral and an island destroying Admiral, he's been constantly improving. And the giant in front of him has the power of an Admiral, but it's large size and it's speed which is still very fast even for Vergo, is enough for Vergo to maneuver himself around.

There's not much time for celebration as the giant climbs out of the rubble of the collapsed capital palace and it's cloak falls off. Vergo wipes the sweat off his brow and takes his final deep breath in.

Vergo once again rushes towards the giant.
