22. Ash vs. Bea, An Epic Rematch!
Kanto: Saffron City, Fighting Dojo
In the Fighting Dojo of Saffron City, the heroes arrived.
"Ash, have you trained your Farfetch'd and Riolu?" Goh asked.
"Yeah, I'm gonna regain my points by defeating Bea in rematch." Ash said.
"Tell me, how did you lost to Bea?" Chloe asked.
Ash explained to his friends how he lost to Bea.
"Do you have faith at your Pokémon?" Serena asked.
"Always!" Ash said.
The heroes entered the battle arena, were they were greeted by a master.
"Oh, Ash, Goh. It's good to see you again." Master said. "I see you brought your friends."
"We are here to see a rematch between our friend Ash and Bea." Ben said.
And then, Bea came.
"Oh, Ash. Here for rematch?" Bea asked.
"I'm ready for anything, Bea!" Ash said.
Rotom Drone flew in and announced the rules of Pokémon Battle.
"Battle begin!" Rotom Drone said.
Bea sent out Hawlucha while Ash sent out Galarian Farfetch'd.
"Farfetch'd, use Night Slash!" Farfetch'd's leek is enveloped with black energy and hits Hawlucha but it dodges.
"Hawlucha, use Karate Chop!" Hawlucha's claw and wing glow white and it strikes Farfetch'd with the side of its wing.
"Farfetch'd, use Brutal Swing!" Farfetch'd's leek glows pink and it swings it around, striking Hawlucha.
"Hawlucha, jump and use Flying Press!" Hawlucha jumps out of Farfetch'd's Brutal Swing and flies above Farfetch'd. It then becomes outlined in white energy and dives into Farfetch'd.
"Use your leek to block it!" Farfetch'd used its leek to block Hawlucha's attack but Hawlucha increasing the attack's pressure.
"Your Farfetch'd will be beaten again." Bea said.
"Not this time! Farfetch'd, show Hawlucha for what you've got!" Ash said with few words of encouragement.
Suddenly, Farfetch'd's body becomes surrounded in a light blue aura. It then strikes Hawlucha with its leek.
"Whoa, Farfetch'd did something!" Ash said.
"Farfetch'd has learned Superpower!" Master said.
"Good, Farfetch'd! You had learnt a new move!" Ash said to Farfetch'd.
"Rejoice later, Ash. Hawlucha, use Hone Claws!" Hawlucha sharpens its claws, increasing its attack and accuracy. Then Hawlucha runs to attack Farfetch'd.
"Farfetch'd, use Night Slash and then Brutal Swing!" Farfetch'd's leek is enveloped with black energy and hits Hawlucha then its leek glowed pink and it swings the leek around, striking Hawlucha.
Farfetch'd's Butal Swing sent Hawlucha out of the ring and it is fainted.
"Hawlucha!" Bea shouted.
"Hawlucha is unable to battle, Farfetch'd wins!" Rotom Drone announced.
"Alright! Farfetch'd we did it!" Ash said.
Bea recalls Hawlucha.
"Good battle, Hawlucha. Take some rest." Bea said. "Grapploct, go!"
Bea sent out Grapploct.
"Ready, Farfetch'd?" Ash asked and Farfetch'd nodded. "Use, Superpower!"
Farfetch'd's body becomes surrounded in a light blue aura. It then strikes Grapploct with its leek but failed as Grapploct grabbed its leek successfully.
"Liquidation!" One of Grapploct's tentacles become covered in water, and it hits Farfetch'd with it.
"Now, finish it with Close Combat, Grapploct!" Grapploct repeatedly hits Farfetch'd at a fast speed.
Farfetch'd is KO'ed.
"No! Farfetch'd!" Ash shouted.
"Farfetch'd is unable to battle, Grapploct wins!" Rotom Drone announced.
Ash recalled Farfetch'd.
"You have done a great battle, Farfetch'd." Ash said. "Riolu, I choose you!"
Ash sent out Riolu.
"Riolu? My Grapploct will defeat your Riolu again." Bea said.
"Riolu, use Vacuum Wave!" Riolu spins around to gather air. It then releases it by punching the gathered air in the form of blade.
"Grapploct, use Detect!" Grapploct's eyes shine light blue for a moment, and it dodges Riolu's Vacuum Wave.
"Riolu, Double Team!" Riolu created multiple copies of itself to confuse Grapploct.
"Grapploct, use Liquidation!" All of Grapploct's tentacles become covered in water, and it hits Riolu's copies and found a real one with it.
"Now, use Octolock!" Grapploct wraps its tentacles around Riolu's feet and arms, preventing it from moving.
"Uh oh, not again!" Goh said.
"Now, Ash will lose or what?" Kevin asked.
"Riolu, I know you can do it! You can beat Grapploct! Come on Riolu!" Ash said with few words of encouragement.
Riolu sensed Ash's aura and filled with determination.
Then, Riolu's body was enveloped by light and began growing: Riolu evolved into Lucario.
Lucario manages to come out of Grapploct's Octolock by punching its face.
"Riolu, you've evolved into Lucario!" Ash said.
Lucario creates a light blue ball of aura and launches at Grapploct.
"Lucario learnt Aura Sphere!" Clemont said.
Ash's Pokémon cheering Lucario.
"Grapploct, use Liquidation!" All of Grapploct's tentacles become covered in water, and attacks Lucario.
Lucario jumped in the air dodging, Grapploct's attack.
"Now, Double Team!" Lucario created multiple copies of himself.
"Grapploct, Liquidation again!" Grapploct tried Liquidation but failed due to being exhausted using the same move.
"Now, use Force Palm!" Lucario and its copies runs up to Grappploct and puts their palm on it. Then, they fires a huge light green blast from its paw at Grapploct, causing an explosion.
As the explosion cleared out, Grapploct, revealed to be KOed.
"Grapploct, no!" Bea shouted.
"Grapploct is unable to battle, Lucario wins! Ash is the winner, so he gains 902 points!" Rotom Drone announced and gave Ash 902 points.
"Grapploct, are you okay?" Bea asked as Grapploct nodded that he is okay. "You did a nice fight."
"Ash, you did it!" Serena said.
"You regained the points!" Goh said.
"Congratulations!" Gwen said.
Bea went to Ash.
"Ash, you're strong and determined trainer. I hope in one day, you'll defeat Leon in World Coronation series." Bea said to Ash.
"Yeah, I will!" Ash said.

A/N: I disliked Ash to be loser in JN036 and glorifying Goh. So I decided to take place between after Omniverse and Pokemon Journeys episode 34, where Ash is lost to Bea.
