Author Notes: It seemed too early to bring that out, so I gave a little hint of what was to come while showing what differs the Diable from the Arrancar and Quincy when they fight someone that outclasses them. And the mysterious stranger comes to save Orihiime is very important to the plot of this story.
Chapter 20: The Accedia-1
Karakura Hospital
Uryu paused as he sensed a very familiar Spiritual Pressure.
Why is he back? I thought he died? Wait it's mixed with Orihime! What's going on?!, he thought as he stopped in the middle of the hall.
Ryūken also stopped, but his reaction was for an entirely different reason than his son's.
Karakura Middle School
The figure looked like Orihime yet very different at the same time.
She now had pale white skin, a black, wilder version of her hair, yellow iris eyes with small slits like a cat, green sclera, two large bat-wings formed on her back, broad, thick lines formed under her eyes ending at her chin, and a Hollow hole formed at the center of her chest, from which foamed dripping black, blood-like liquid. Her waist and bosom were covered in something similar to black fur, which covered her arms and legs. Her fingers grew claw-like extensions, and his feet resembled talons. From her tailbone, grew a long, thin tail ending in a thick tuff of hair and two large bat ears grew from the sides of her head. She was otherwise naked.
Flauros' mind went through several thoughts on the possibilities on how to deal with the situation-
My power of Answer Intuition allows for Ability Intuition in what power was used, Ability Mastering in mastering abilities to counter powers, Action Intuition to read actions, Adaptive Learning to learn what to do in dangerous situations, Adaptive Mind to be able to more flexible, Attack Prediction to see through attack patterns Causality Perception to see the cause of my blunder, Clear Mind to be calm at all times, Efficacy Intuition to be effective at all times, Enhanced Calculation to calculate what went wrong in order to fix it later, Enhanced Perception in order to perceive all, Enhanced Response to be able to react instantly, Enlightenment Error Prevention by seeing my flaws in order to prevent future flaws, Fact Perception to see the facts of everything, Flawless Precognition of seeing things in advance, Hypercognition to be cognitive at accelerated levels Hypercompetence to have my competence enhances, Hyper Instincts Infinite Resourcefulness Instant Learning Intuitive Perception Logic Intuition Martial Arts Intuition by learning martial arts by natural intuition to counter threats Master Builder to craft anything to suit my needs, Mathematical Intuition to know the equations to lead to my victory, Numerical Precision to calculate percentages, Observation Detection to observe the slightest details, Omnicompetence to be competent in all areas, Omnilingualism to know every language/dialect, Omni-Intuition in know everything, Panmnesia to remember everything, seeing the Path to Victory Photographic Deduction to observe the details via sight Psychological Intuition to understand my foes on a psychological level, Reaction Intuition to know how to react to things, Reality Perception to see reality as it is, Science Intuition to know the science behind phenomena, Tactical Analysis/Genius to analyze the field of strategy and Weakness Detection to see the flaws of my foes...Yet, yet, yet, yet, why, why why, why, why I didn't see that coming?!, thought the yellow cat as he charged an orange red fire ball towards the transformed figure.
His pupils and irises then multiplied into six as Flauros then came to an epiphany.
This would lead to a disaster if they fought. 30% probably dying due to the sheer unknown factor of the ability.
Screw fighting this threat. I'm reversing this., thought the yellow cat.
Suddenly time reversed on itself, everyone reversing in motion like a blur.
Karakura Middle School- A Few Hours Earlier...
It then stopped at the beginning of the school day.
Flauros in his human guise, blinked as his pupils returned to normal.
Why fight a losing battle when you don't have to fight at all., he thought with a disgusting smirk within his guise.
He looked at Orihime with intense loathing from behind the guise, knowing what she'd potentially become.
What was that? It doesn't matter. It's better to get her with a sneak attack than any direct assault. I'm such a genius., thought the cat.
Vepar within her human guise peered in disdain at his intended course of actions.
Doing this instead of an all-out fight? How low-class can you get?, she thought.
"Hey, Orihime. Mind if we had a private talk? Just you and me?," asked Jinpei, which confused Orihime.
"U-uh, sure.," she replied.
She walked as Victoria gave a meaningful look in Orihime's direction.
Outside the Student Lounge
Orihime was now outside with the slightly pudgy man.
"What did you want to talk about?," the orange haired woman inquired.
Jinpei then turned around.
"What you were you thinking for the curriculum for your time in this establishment?," asked the man.
"Um, that's kinda a big question. Maybe what the other teachers are teaching?," she replied.
"Come on, there's got to be a subject that you want to do? Something that's been shunned since you were in high school?," he said as the hand behind his back began to sprout three long claws emerging from the spaces of his knuckles, glowing white hot as their heat intensified.
"Well, I have an active imagination and I'd like for them to pursue their ability to explore their creativity.," she replied.
"I also explore my creativity as well in the science class.," he said in response.
"I don't mean to pry, but the students in your class...I hear that you're excessive with your lab experiments with animals. And you haven't branched out from that. Maybe try to take some risks and be a more sensitive to your students' needs?," she requested.
His presence then got much darker from hearing that statement.
"I actually do a side-gig outside of school as a black market doctor myself. To pay the bills. I experiment on lost children. Drunken males and of course, drugged out women.," he said as he licked his lips.
"Why are you telling me this? You must having a bad morning to say something like this. Maybe you should see a therapist after school-," Orihime suggested.
The area then turned to black with everyone else frozen in time.
This is like last night and earlier this morning? Then he's a-, thought Orihime before the clawed hand of the Chevalier Creux phased from the ground beneath and snatched her hairpins.
Orihime looked in confusion as the hand traveled and opened its palm for Jinpei to get them before it sank into the ground.
"Those don't belong to you. Give them back and let's forget about this topic since it's upsetting you.," she said more seriously, but also hoping he'd return the last remnants of her brother.
"Those things are the source of your powers and from what I learned from the last time before I reset things, this would've led to a disastrous battle in your favor. So I'm taking precautions. A gift from a false brother who claimed to be your true brother and would not hesitate to kill you...so sad Mademoiselle.," he said as he crushed the hairpins and burned them in his grasp.
Orihime looked in stunned horror as the last gift of Sora faded into utter nothingness. And more importantly, the means to summon the Shun Shun Rikka was now utterly gone.
Jinpei then revealed himself as Flauros, the speedo wearing yellow cat Diable with a single horn, and black wings covered in purple starlights.
"I prefer to be a routine and a loner who doesn't share the kill with others. So don't do things that conflict with my schedule!," he shouted as he lunged with a set of three long claws protruding from the knuckles, covered in flames.
Orihime looked in stunned horror as she didn't have the means to defend herself now that her Shun Shun Rikka was gone.
He grinned like a madman before he was suddenly palm-struck to the side by a towering man in a hood and an archaic version of a Soul Reaper's uniform who seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
Orihime looked puzzled at the sight.
"Milady. It was not right that we would meet in such circumstances. But, on the honor of your mother, I will fight this beast on your steed.," he said stoically.
Orihme then thought back to what Sora had said about her mother back then.
"You mean...you're in the strip business? What's a Soul Reaper working in that line of work?." she said aloud.
This made the man face-fault in confusion.
"Oh dear, there's so much to catch up on. Do you mind if I skinned this cat?," he asked matter of factly as he got up.
"What?," Orihime asked as Flauros got up.
"You don't feel like the Soul Reapers of the current era and you move in the stopped time. What are you?," asked the yellow cat.
"Someone that is beyond you.," he replied back to the cat, removing his hood to reveal a bald head of an aged man with blurred irises due to advanced age, the head covered in countless scars and wore a huge scarf to obscure his mouth.
He then drew a large chokutō with a dogū shaped tsuba from his back and proceeded to wield in a battle stance.
"That sword?! You're Abenosuek Seimeiryū!," Flauros shouted in horror as he saw the weapon before him.
"Correct. And I will be instructing your son, Kazui in the true arts of the sword he will eventually wield.," he said with a serious tone.
Orihime looked in confusion.
Her eyes flickered between her normal sclera/iris color and green/yellow respectively unbeknownst to herself.
