hello everyone I have to apologize for keeping everyone waiting I caught what they call writers block?? anywho on with the story
"I dont understand what the problem is?"
"because I wont do it!" Inuyasha stated, head turning away from Kagome, eyes close and a faint blush.
"ugh! you're such a baby you dont have to take your clothes off okay! just be mature and get in the bed, its big enough and we can share it,LOOK!" she said as she grabbed an oversized pillow and threw it right to the middle of the bed. "our bodies wont even touch".
Inuyasha was not going to budge not after what he had hallucinated about on the couch. What if their bodies did touch? The though to hold Kagome in bed, smelling her pressed up against his flesh made his skin heat and his heart ache.
"feh!, Im sleeping outside as usual, for your information I sleep on alert up above a tree" he said putting his foot stubbornly down with his arms crossed.
Then he felt the electricity on his arm as she gently grabbed his hand and looked at him with her big brown eyes.
"please...I... I wasnt suppose to be alone tonight" "will you just stay with me?" "you said you were my best friend so prove it, I need a friend now, will you be my good friend tonight?" she pleaded still holding on to him.
Inuyasha's heart broke. She felt alone, even though he was there. He stared back with those amber eyes with sympathy and move to hold her gently, she relaxed on his chest and he sighed.
""okay Kagome ill stay, but dont go slapping me in the morning if somehow we end up tangled"
"okay" she giggled "ditto"
and with that thought they both climbed into bed and being very careful to stay on their sides.
"goodnight Inuyasha"
"goodnight Kagome"
Kagome woke up the next morning with a comforting familiar feeling in her chest. She felt fuzzy and warm and happy. She moved her body to turn to the side and saw a half naked man with some of his silver hair on his face and the rest sprawled all over the place. Her eyes wondered to the top of his head and landed on the fluffy ears resting there on the crown. Her gaze began to travel down to his features and she thought he looked beautiful and at peace. His lips...that would probably be the only time when she would get to see them closed since he always seemed to use that pretty mouth to scream. That made her giggle silently. Her brown eyes then landed on his chest and followed the many lines and contours, but what caught her eyes the most was the battle scars, why? why did he have so many?? this man...this sweet protective man... scars that range in sizes...she hoped all those scars wernt all bad stories but she had a feeling they were...specially the one on the left side of his chest near his heart... that one looked painful even though it was small. The flashback of her dream with him pinned to the tree came into her mind, the arrow and his peaceful slumber, just as how peaceful he looked now.
She ever so slowly and carefully wiggled her way to the still man and extended her arm to hover over his left pectoral then lightly dropped her index finger to the small wound.
She traced it with her finger and an overwhelming feeling came over her, helpless, anger, pain and frustration all at once ...tears pricking at the corner of her eyes and she couldnt understand why.
Then one rolled down her cheek and instantly, as she yelped, she found herself on her back staring at an alert half demon that had pinned her wrist with his hands to the bed and her legs with his thighs screaming her name at the top of his lungs...
he was panting...
she was panting...
"what happened?" he asked startled and looking around.
"n..nothing you just screamed my name and pinned me to the bed" She said chest rising up and down.
"you...were...crying i smelled your tears and i thought you were in danger" he said panting and looking at her eyes.
"I'm not...i wasn't...crying" she said.
"you have a trail down your cheek" "why were you crying"
"i cant believe you smelled that in your sleep...you were so deep in"
"dam it Kagome answer the question"
" okay...okay but can I have at least one of my hands back?" she said
he realized what position they were in and immediately tried to leap off then realized Kagome caught his back with her legs to make him stay.
"Kagome what are you doing let me go" he said blushing, because now he wasnt just hovering over her...now he felt her lower half completely as he felt her legs bring him close.
that was a problem, after all he was a man and he was going to respond to this feeling.
"I'm going to show you why I felt sad"
Inuyasha's gaze soften and the sexual tension was gone.
he felt as her finger fell on the small scar over his heart. He looked at the site then at her. He sighed and took a hold of her ankles behind his back and released himself from her grip. He stood up and made his way to the bathroom...
"that is a long story Kagome give me a bit okay?" he closed the door to the restroom leaving Kagome looking his way still on the bed.
"ill make some breakfast" and with that she stood up to go into the kitchen.
moments later Inuyasha came out of the room dressed
"so i take it you arnt gonna be topless the rest of the morning?" Kagome said as she was plating the food.
" uuuh...i got hot last night and took it off"
"hey I'm not judging to each its own" she said as she gave him the plate of food.
"smells delicious thank you"
" yeah well sometimes i cook well other times not so much...you should see my cupboard, its full of Ramen"
He snorted at the comment because he knew about her cooking and also about the Ramen.
"its pretty good actually" he said with a mouthful
"thanx she said as she sipped some coffee"
then there was a comfortable silence until he broke it.
"I loved her, then she pinned me to the sacred tree but it wasnt her fault or mine." he said stabbing his food not looking up.
Kagome looked at him while sipping her coffe confused when she came to the realization that he was talking about the scar.
there was eternal silence while she gather thoughts.
"im talking about the scar"
"I know" she said putting the cup down
"just trying to wrap my head around what you said" "so why wasnt it either of yours fault?"
"Naraku"
"the spider" Kagome said without pause or thought taking a bite of her food.
"what did you just say?"
she looked up confused at him...
" I dont know" "it just came out of my mouth, probly my subconscious, I know this story right?"
"all to well"
"well it must be tragic because I feel so...so ..overwhelmed" "sad"
"really?" Inuyasha looked at her softly.
"yes but please do continue... what was her name?"
there was a long pause again as they both looked at each other. Inuyasha waiting for her to faulter and Kagome looking at him like if she just dared him or challenged him to say her name.
he cleared his throat
"Kikyou"
Kagomes eyebrows lifted and there was a tinge of anger in her eyes.
"you okay?"
"yea" she cleared her throat "its just i felt a knot in my throat" "it seems like I am very familiar with the scar huh" she said sadly, digging to take a bite out of her food.
"if you dont feel up to it I can stop Kagome"
she looked up at him annoyed.
"dont be silly why wouldnt I feel up to it?"
he studied her carefully and decided to carefully continue narrating while she listen intentfully. He told his tragic love story over the remaining of their breakfast, analyzing her reactions and omited some parts that he felt he shouldnt say at that moment. At times she would flinch, other times her face would soften, then there was times she would get angry.
"that demon is despicable!!" she screamed standing up knocking the chair down.
"two lives torn apart for a stupid jewel!!!??"
"that really makes me angry!!" she said slamming her mug down.
"doesnt he know love conqueres all!!" "he wont get away with this!!, i will have his head"
Inuyasha stood up and grabbed her arm snapping her out her enraged state.
"Hey, you okay? Its okay Kagome we will get him in time"
she came down from wherever she was at and looked at him with sympathy.
"I'm so sorry this happened to you Inuyasha" she said sympathetically as she moved to embrace him and held him so tight he froze.
"you guys loved each other and never had a chance to blossom that love into a marriage, children, a life together nobody has the right to take that away...I'm so sorry" she said into his shoulder.
Inuyasha finally held her back.
He was touched inmensly by this after all this time Kagome still was the same filled with compassion. Though the irony of it all, if she only knew that she herself had sacrifice so much to try to make that possible for him and Kikyou. Kagome had given them a chance to do it all...marriage, life together, and children,a child would have been born by now in the three years they attempted to be together, but it was just not ment to be...
they were not ment to be...
if she only knew...
"yes but through that bad journey i gained some good friends and it was all because of you"
she then let go of him as he reluctantly did of her.
"thank you for re-telling everything I've forgotten... I promise to help take down the evil spider so that you can find Kikyou and make your life with her"
'oh Kagome...you never change' he thought to himself while looking at her
"then maybe i can hook up with Koga, then have little children together" she taunted him .
"STOP IT, I SAID YOURE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE CONTACT WITH HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK OF DOING SOMETHING SO VILE WITH THAT MANGY WOLF!!!"
Kagome laughed so loud
"I'm just kidding i know you get like that when i talk about Koga so I thought it would be funny"
"feh!" he said as he looked away and crossed his arms.
"im gonna go take a bath real quick and get some supplies to take over to your era. We need to find this Naraku and get rid of him."
Inuyasha nodded as she moved towards the bathroom and closed the door.
He was sitting down deep in his thoughts and it must have been for a while because Kagome came out of the restroom and to his shock she was only wearing her undergarments. He went red to the face as he watch her perfectly plump but bend over to grab some jeans from the bottom drawer and a black top from the closet.
"Put some clothes on Kagome why did you come out wearing only that?? I can practically see everything."
"oh calm down I'm about to put my clothes on to be honest im just used to walking in my place like this its comfortable and im alone except for right now and i totally forgot...whoops!!"
Inuyasha turned around and couldnt get out of his head the image of the see through garnments and that perfect ass bend over in front of him to give him an invitation to see everything.
"this is gonna be a long day" he thought as a certain part of his anatomy was getting harder by the minute
sexual tension much??? i think soooo please review and criticize
