Chapter 27 What to Do Now?

Sora's POV

One Hour Later

My friends and I had arrived where everyone was hiding out,

"Sora", King Meishu said before walking up to me. "Good news. We managed to evacuate the whole kingdom with no causalities."

"That's good", I pointed out.

Then...I looked down sadly.

"Is something wrong", King Meishu asked in concern.

"King Meishu", I started. "What do we do now?"

King Meishu couldn't give me an answer. Instead...he sighed sadly.

"I don't know Sora", he replied. "I just don't know."

One Hour Later

Ven's POV

While everybody else was asleep, I was sitting on a cliff where I could see the kingdom...and all the Heartless that had taken it over.

"Can I join you", I heard somebody ask.

Then I turned around...and saw Skuld.

"Of course", I replied.

Then Skuld sat down.

"You must have a lot of questions", she pointed out.

"I do", I replied. "But can you give me the answers?"

"I can", Skuld replied. "Not all of them, but some."

"Why did I kill Strelitzia?"

"It wasn't you", Skuld replied. "Yes, it was your body, but not your mind."

"What do you mean", I asked in confusion.

"Your body was taken over by a being known as darkness", Skuld revealed.

"Darkness", I asked in confusion.

"It's a being that can hide itself in other peoples hearts", Skuld revealed. "And it chose to hide itself in you, and use you for its plans."

"What plans", I asked as tears began falling from my eyes. "And why me?! Why Strelitzia?!"

"I don't know Ven", Skuld replied. "I told you...I can't give you all the answers."

After I heard this...I broke down crying.

Skuld hugged me, but I just continued to cry.

Sora's POV

I was on a cliff, and from it...I could see King Meishu's kingdom...and all the Heartless that had taken it over.

I turned my head away from the sight, and when I did...I saw Kairi.

"Kairi", I said in shock. "What are you doing here? I thought you were asleep?"

"I saw you leave your sleeping bag", Kairi revealed.

Then...she looked at all of the Heartless.

"It's awful, isn't it", she asked sadly.

"Yeah", I replied.

Then...clenched my hands into fists.

"Why", I started. "Why did the Master of Masters do this?"

"I wish I knew", Kairi replied.

"I failed Kairi", I stated. "It was my job to project the Crystal Heart, and I failed! Some True King I am."

"This isn't your fault Sora", Kairi stated. "Besides, blaming yourself isn't going to fix the problem."

"Then what is", I asked angrily.

"I don't know", Kairi replied. "But we can solve this together."
