Hal flies to Oa to show the Guardians what he encountered with Star. "We tell you this Hal Jordan, because your actions on behalf of the Corp. As you know we were the first Race. But our people split…The others call themselves the Zamarons…They gave your Carol Ferris her powers…As you know we Guardians have harnessed the power of will into the green energy you channel through your ring…From what we have seen in the footage you showed us we have deduced that the Zamarons have harnessed the power of love and jealousy."

"You got to be kidding me."

"We would not make jokes about such things…Paralax harnessed the power of fear…Yellow…Sinestro used it to empower his followers…I fear the war of the Laterns will soon be upon us…We ask that you remain here and train new recruits."

"Who will defend sector 2814?"

He is joined by his friend John Stewart. "Hello Hal."

CAROL

When she awakens she is on a beach in the Pacific near the Philippines. She gets up and starts walking. Suddenly she is surrounded by armed men. When her body starts glowing they lower their weapons. "Your weapons seem to be Atlantean." She says breaking the silence.

The men she speaks with wear black armor and a few are armed with tridents. "What know you of Atlantis?" One of the men asks.

Another man places his finger to his ear, "Come with us."

They take her through the Island jungle to a fortress hidden by a hologram made of water. She is taken through the massive fortress to a throne room, where a beautiful woman with green hair is with an African American man. "I am Lady Shydeena…This is my chosen mate…Black Manta."

"My name is Star Sapphire."

NALA

When Nala awakens she is in a room with aa glass view and red lights to neutralize her powers. "Where am I? Is someone there?"

"Granny she is awake." Nala hears a voice say something but does not understand the language.

"Good…" When the woman stands in front of the glass Nala gasps in fear, she had heard the legends of the new gods and recognizes the emblem on the elderly woman's belt. "…She will make a fine addition to the Furies."

LEX LUTHOR

Lex is in his office and once again he had escaped the charges Superman accused him off. He goes to the bathroom and when he comes out he finds a man sitting behind his desk. "Who are you and how did you get in here."

"My name is Malcolm Merlyn…I was sent by my Master to give you this."

"And what is that?"

"It's called Kryptonite. Behold." He shows him footage of the Green Lantern's fight with white haired Kryptonian named Nala.

"Superman has a weakness."

"This will kill our flying friend."

"How much?"

Malcolm stands up, "No cost…My Master is generous like that." He walks to a window and jumps out. When Lex runs to the window he is gone.
