CHAPTER 20: STARTING A NEW DIVISION
The next morning in the hospital Christie was wide awake so she decided to go and get some coffee for herself and her girlfriend and when she came back into the room she saw Michelle's dad Jacob slowly waking up and she said to her girlfriend and her mother "hey guys, Jacob's waking up" and Michelle slowly groaned on her mother's arm before she lifted her head up and blinked a couple times before she saw a cup of coffee on the table and took a sip from it as she smiled at her girlfriend and said to her "hey morning babe, and thanks for the coffee by the way"
Becky then groaned as she blinked her eyes a couple of times before she smiled as she saw her husband was awake and she said to him "morning honey, how are ya feeling?" and Jacob smiled back at his wife as he replied "well, my ribs still hurt like hell and my arm feels a little better and i see our daughter is here to see me which makes me happy" and Becky smiled at her husband as she replied "yeah, our daughter flew over from Japan to visit ya and i guess we taught her daughter well because she told me on the phone she was coming over to see ya because we taught her that family stick together and her girlfriend Christie bless her came with our daughter to support her"
Then Michelle said to her dad "yeah, me and Christie were in the middle of a meet and greet as embassy kingdom when mum called me and told me what happened so i flew over as soon as i could with my girlfriend to support her and to see you and make sure you were ok" and Jacob smiled as he replied to his daughter "well i can see your mother and i taught you well darling and i'm glad we are all together as a family and i'm sorry i had your meet and greet cut short" and Michelle had some tears in her eyes as she replied "it's fine dad, making sure you were ok and that mum was ok was more important"
And Becky sneezed before she said with a smile on her face "that's really sweet pumpkin, and hopefully ya father can be cleared to leave today so we can see ye and ya girlfriend off at the airport before head home so i can look after ya father" then a nurse came into the room and smiled as she said to Jacob "well i have some good news Mr. Cass as the doctors have said they are happy with how your ribs and your left arm are recovering so that means you will be cleared to leave today" then the nurse looked at Becky and took her temperature before she said "your temperature is quite high Ms. Cass are you feeling ok?"
Then Becky smiled at the nurse as she replied "yeah i feel fine, me temperature is probably a bit high because me daughter was asleep on me arm last night" before a doctor then came into the room and said to Jacob "well Mr. Cass, i am happy with the way your ribs and your left arm is healing so i am happy to clear you to leave today and i have prepared your prescription to make sure you take your antibiotics twice a day" and Becky said to the doctor "don't worry doc i'll make sure he takes his tablets everyday when we get home"
Later...
After Jacob had been cleared to leave the hospital with his prescription with his wife and his daughter and her girlfriend and they were at the Florida terminal airport and Michelle gave her parents a hug before she heard her mum cough and sneeze as she said to her mum with a worried look on her face "mum are you sure you're feeling ok?" and Becky smiled at her daughter as she returned the hug to her and replied "trust me i'm fine sweetie, i think i just have a bit of a sore throat that's all but when i get home with ya father i'm gonna have some water and have a little lay down and make sure ya father takes his antibiotics"
And Jacob returned the hug as he said to his daughter "we've kept you from Japan long enough pumpkin and i'm sure you are needed in Dragon gate as the open the dream gate champion and i alo heard you became the co owner of Dragon gate with Ultimo dragon so congratulations sweetheart now you have a safe journey home with your girlfriend and we will make our way home so your mother can look after me and make sure i am taking my antibiotics" and Michelle smiled at her dad with tears in her eyes as she replied "thanks dad, but if you or mum need me for anything please don't hesitate to call me and i'll fly over as soon as i can but bye for now"
Arriving back in Tokyo Japan...
When Michelle got back to Japan with her girlfriend she got a text from Ultimo dragon which read "hey Michelle san, i am sorry to hear what happened to your father and i send your family my best wishes but i have some news i would like to share with you when you next come to Dragon gate" and Michelle text back saying "hey Mr. Dragon san thank you so much for your support for my family and i greatly appreciate it and i will be at the arena tomorrow so you can share your news with me" then Michelle turned to her girlfriend and said to her "we should probably head to our apartment as our friend the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist is probably worried sick about us"
And Christie smiled as she gave her girlfriend a kiss on her lips as she replied "you're right baby, let's not keep our friend the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist waiting for us any longer and head to our apartment"
At Michelle and Christie's apartment...
When Michelle and her girlfriend Christie walked through the door of their apartment they were greeted by their friend the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist as she ran up to them and said to them "welcome home guys, how's your dad Michelle?" and Michelle gave their friend the female cosplayer dressed as Shura kiragure a hug with tears in her eyes as she said to her "my dad has been cleared to leave the hospital today and he has a broken left arm and a few broken ribs but the doctors gave him some antibiotics that he needs to take twice a day and i'm so sorry i left you here on your own but i needed to be with my family"
And the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist returned the hug to Michelle and wiped the tears from her face as she replied "hey it's ok Michelle, i figured you were still with your parents at the hospital so i have been watching blue exorcist on crunchy roll on your TV but i'm glad your dad is doing ok now Michelle"
Then Christie said to the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist "well, that's good to hear but anyway i think me and my girlfriend are gonna go to bed now as we had a long flight and Michelle is going to be busy tomorrow as the open the dream gate champion" and the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist said to Christie with a smile on her face "it's ok Christie i understand because you guys must be exhausted from your flight so goodnight you two"
Dragon gate infinity...
Michelle arrived at the arena with her girlfriend Christie and Michelle saw ultimo dragon so she went up to him and said "hey Mr. Dragon san, you said you had some news you wanted to share with me?" and ultimo dragon chuckled as he replied "as always your timing couldn't be better Michelle san because what i wanted to tell was i had been talking with the board of directors and after months of pitching the idea of starting a Women's division here in Dragon gate they finally approved the idea"
And Michelle smiles at Ultimo dragon as she replies "that's awesome news, and i have a great idea for a way to decide the inaugural dragon gate Women's gate champion by holding a tournament because that will surely get the fans talking and speculating as to who could win and become the first ever Dragon gate women's gate champion" and Ultimo dragon smiled back at Michelle as he replied "i like your thinking Michelle san and i'm glad i made the right choice making you the co owner of dragon gate with me i'll leave you to address the fans and make the announcement official"
Later...
Larry said on commentary "good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another exciting episode of Dragon gate infinity where tonight we will hear from the new open the dream gate champion Michelle Kyoshi Cass the co owner of dragon gate pro wrestling as she makes a special announcement and as always i am joined by Rich bocchni" then Michelle's theme demi gods started playing in the arena as she walked out on stage with her girlfriend Christie hemme and her open the dream gate championship over her shoulder as the announcer said "ladies and gentlemen please welcome the co owner of Dragon gate pro wrestling and the open the dream gate champion Michelle Kyoshi Cass and Christie hemme EMBASSY KINGDOM!"
Then Michelle was standing in the ring with a microphone in her hand as she said "konichiwa dragon gate universe, last night at the open the dream gate PPV i defeated Naruki doi of R.E.D and i am your new open the dream gate champion!" as she raised her championship up high to huge cheers from the crowd before she continued on the mic "now with that out of the way it is my honour to announce that are going to be starting a dragon gate Women's gate division and in order to determine the first ever Dragon gate Women's gate champion we will be holding the queen of dragon's tournament where 16 of the best will compete in a elimination style tournament to crown the first ever dragon gate women's gate champion!"
And Rich bocchni said on commentary while Michelle was making her way backstage with her girlfriend "wow what an announcement from the open the dream gate champion and co owner of Dragon gate wrestling Michelle as she just announced we are going to have a women's division here in Dragon gate wrestling and we are going to have the queen of dragon's tournament to crown the first ever Women's gate champion, i think it's safe to say things here in Dragon gate will never be the same wouldn't you agree partner?" and Larry said on commentary "yeah i agree partner things here in dragon gate are definitely changing and i can't wait for what the future holds for this company with Michelle as the co owner"
Backstage...
When Michelle got backstage with her girlfriend Christie Ultimo dragon smiled as he said "allow me to show you to your office Michelle san" and Michelle was shocked for a moment before she smiled as she said to Ultimo dragon "you mean i have my own office Mr. Dragon san? I thought i would be working in your office with you but please show me the way" and Ultimo dragon just chuckled to himself as he lead Michelle and her girlfriend down the hallway before they stopped in front of a door that had Michelle's name across the top and he said to Michelle "here we are, your very own office Michelle san and this is where you will be when you are not competing in the ring"
And Michelle smiled as she replied "this truly is an honour Mr. Dragon san and i promise i won't let you down as the co owner of Dragon gate pro wrestling as i help you push this company to new heights" before stepping inside her office with her girlfriend before Ultimo dragon smiled at Michelle as he said to her "don't worry Michelle san i truly believe together we can achieve great things and push Dragon gate Pro wrestling to new heights and i know i made the right choice picking you as the co owner anyway Michelle san i shall leave you to get settled in to your office" before he walked off leaving Michelle and her girlfriend inside her office.
